I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. Server was rude, there were 2 hairs in our food and the meals were just made terribly. The manager would not have a conversation with us about the service. My third complaint, i was told they do not sing for birthday s anymore but 5 minutes later sang for a person behind me. I am pissed off.

I had a horrible experience at this dining restaurant. I had ordered the Linguine chicken tetrazzini, with no brachetta which my dish arrived containing brachetta. After eating a bit less then half I had found more than one hair in my meal. We had found hair in another dish at our table which was the same length and color as the other hairs found in the other dishes. We had came here for my older brothers 16th birthday which he had waited many days and nights for, we had asked if the servers could sing him happy birthday which, he didnt receive. We had thought that maybe they stopped singing until we heard many voices ascending from the kitchen to sing to an elderly man, my brother was very upset, confused, and furious, at this scene. When we had asked to speak to a manager our server had responded to us saying no comment, when we had asked a different server she had said that the manager doesnt enjoy interacting with her customers. If I could I would rate this experience 0/5 but sadly thats not possible on Google review. In the past when i had come to this location i have had a great time with my family but after this time spent at east side I will not be returning again. Thank you for reading.

Me and my partner ordered the sampler platter. It had chicken parm, lasanga and Alfredo pasta. It was spectacular! The perfect portion for me and my partner honestly. Our waitress was extremely friendly and wonderful as well. The entire experience makes us want to come back soon!

East side Marios used to be actually pretty decent food but is now terrible. The last 2 times I dined in the service was absolutely horrible and food has gone downhill massively. Just ordered delivery of veal parm and linguine chicken tetrazini. The veal was highly overcooked and the pasta dish was very dry. I know its delivery and by time it gets to your door its not as fresh but it was really bad. Ive had same food experiences when I dine in as well. It will definitely be my last time eating here. Ive had too many bad experiences

Im very disappointed in my visit here. I was here with my family a few days ago. We had to wait for quite a while for someone to even greet us (very understaffed usually). Once we were seated, and ordered food, it was not up to any sort of standard whatsoever. The salad was not even good. The lettuce didnt seem fresh. The hot food was cold, meat was dry and way over cooked, no attention to quality or completely tasteless. Could not even finish the food, or take a 4th bite. The best things we had that visit was the water and the garlic bread. This chain used to be alright (not amazing), but lately the quality of food has gone down drastically that its literally inedible. It is definitely not worth the price, or even the trip to go here. The last few times Ive been here has been the same experience, hoping it would be better. I would not recommend it here at all. This will be my last visit to the east sides chain.

To me, East Side Marios stands out as one of the comfortable dining spots around. Today, I ordered the cheesy spinach dip and the chicken parmigiana, and both dishes were delightful. I opted to swap the tomato pasta with Alfredo for the chicken parm, but unfortunately, the Alfredo was a bit on the dry side. However, the portions were generous, and I was already quite full thanks to the complimentary bread and the all-you-can-eat soup and salad. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, made even better by the great service from our waitress, Sheridan. She was friendly, attentive, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Overall, it was a satisfying experience, with only a minor hiccup in the pasta. Would definitely recommend for a hearty and enjoyable meal!

I ordered take out carbonara pasta and I don t recommend nobody taking that. It s not carbonara it s literally just bacon and pasta with butter, there s no cream in my pasta. My pasta is so dry not even a ounce of milk. It s just butter and bacon so disappointed

My husband and I were seated and then completely ignored for about 20 minutes. Servers were taking others payments, others orders and clearing off tables nearby. We tried to be patient. It didnt appear overly busy when we arrived....quite a few empty tables and seated right away. If someone had at least acknowledged us to let us know they would be with us shortly, it would have been appreciated.The server from our area never walked past our table so we couldnt get her attention. We eventually got up and walked out. Very unimpressed and disappointed.

I ordered 102.00 worth of take out tonight for 4 of us for my mom s 89th birthday. It was such a disappointment, especially for what she wanted which was just plain penne with arribiata sauce - only to be maybe 2 tbsp of sauce?..I ordered the chicken linguine amatriciana (sp) and it had NO chicken at all and was so dry as barely no sauce too. The only good was the bread and salads were ok. So disappointed.

I had high hopes, but was disappointed with the overall experience. The pizza quality (and the food of everyone in my party) was subpar, lacking the flavor and texture I expected. I was even more frustrated by the staffs unwillingness to make an accomodation to my order when I requested them. It felt like they werent interested in providing a tailored experience, which is essential in this industry. The service was mediocre at best, and while the atmosphere had potential, it couldn t make up for the lackluster food and service. I won t be returning anytime soon.

I come here somewhat regularly for the lunch soup and bread deal. We came in today and it was pretty busy with a hockey tournament running at DelPark. We got seated and Nate took care of us today. We usually have a good experience and he was top notch. Even with how busy the restaurant was he made sure our soup and salads were full even before we asked. Super job!

Went for dinner here the other night here, restaurant told us they were short staffed understandably things took a little longer than normal. Took 15 mins to get seated while there were about 10-15 empty tables. Server didn t give us any bread had to ask 3 times, We Ordered spaghetti and meatballs. It started to take awhile as the manager came over to us and said he was understaffed and told us he had to make more pasta it s taking longer he said about 10 more mins or if we didn t wanna wait he would give us a different meal. We said we would wait no problem. As he walked away I got the smell and head rush like I smoked my first Belmont cigarette again for the first time. We waited 10 more minutes and the server came back and told us 10 more minutes, as we look over and Manager was enjoying a nice beer at the bar. Food eventually came and was mildly warm and wasn t good. Left hungry and unimpressed and $62 I wish I could only get back. Brutal experience and leadership won t be coming back here.

Today we went to this restaurant again and Alana attended our table. She was very friendly and we had a good experience therefore, I am changing my review and give them 4 stars. This is my review a year ago which I gave them 1 star: If you want to have your dinner on time, I suggest go there there and place your order around noon because you should not be surprised if it takes several hours for them to wondering around, talk to each other and whenever you complain and ask why your food is not there yet, they will tell you the kitchen is busy. If the kitchen is busy and overwhelmed, close the doors and do not accept new customers.

Disappointed. The lettuce was mushy in all the salads (group of 6+), salads were barely dressed, and they were out of bread (was at dinner on a friday night but not busy - we now know why). They ended up bringing bread mid meal and it wasnt even fully cooked and was served without butter. Salad was served at same time as the meals , which was fine because it was not edible but made the wait long. Quality of the food was extremely low and not worth the price you pay.

She would make us feel taken care of at all times. Asking if we re enjoying our meals, needed anything else, making very delicious recommendations when it came to the cuisine. Best of all she always had a smile on her face during the process. She is also very personable in her interactions with customers. You are very lucky to have such a hard working young woman working on the front line. She is an excellent representation of what customer service should be. We don t normally complain about our experiences but had to share this so hopefully it would improve for other patrons. We visited the Harmony Road location in Oshawa June 2/24. Comment on the lack of freshness with the salads. The garden salad- croutons were soft, lettuce was mushy- not fresh and the dressing had no flavour. Tasted like just oil. I thought it was maybe just mine but my husbands was the same. My husband tried my sons - he had Caesar and lettuce was same. My husband had soup salad and bread. The waitress came back 1 time for anything so we had bread. That was it. No return for salad or soup which he would have had more soup. No refills on drinks. And when we were done it was just need your bills - no place to say well actually we would like some refills or at least the soup as it was all you can eat item. Just disappointing experience today. If it had been so busy and no servers I would have understood but there were lots of people serving and it wasn t at capacity. The hot food dishes we had were very good though. Hopefully just a 1 off experience. :)

I had to ask for everything that should come normally. POP refill did not happen, 1 GARLIC bread for 3 people, did not get parmesan until my soup was cold & salad became warm , not to mention coffee was look warm or room temperature, we had to ask for another one which took another 10 minutes. Server was not friendly AT ALL.

My glass was dirty with fingerprints and lipstick. My meal tasted like a frozen dinner. The fruit flies enjoyed it though. No manager. Never never again.

I was hoping to get wedding soup but it was sold out also my waiter after receiving our food from a kitchen helper or another waitress he never came back at all to ask us if we needed another drink. He only came back to give us or ask us if we wanted a bill . Maybe we werent important enough as I was an adult with a 12-year-old he was more focused on bigger tables.

I was there Monday, April 1st with a couple of friends. We were sitting at the table that looked right into the kitchen. All the time we were there we could see the chef on his red phone. Constantly. We blame him for our long wait to get our food. Service from our server couldnt be better. But seeing what we did and the long wait we will not be back.

I have been going to East Side Marios in Toronto since 2015 and experience I had at this location yesterday evening was extremely disappointing. We were greeted in by a friendly female hostess who directed us to our booth and then came our waiter - he did not even try to hide the fact that he did not want to be there. I get it these are difficult times and I myself work in customer service realize we cant have a smile on our face at all times but come on. We ordered two different pastas with a Caesar and garden salad, told our waiter three times that no bacon at all in our Caesar salad due to religious reasons and he seemed to note it down. We started eating the salads when they came and after 4-5 bites my wife found a small piece of what appeared to be bacon in her salad. She pulled out the salad from bottom of bowl and there were more pieces of bacon. We tried to get attention of our waiter who appeared to be only one actually working the tables, he came over and just said why would he do that to me. He took the salad back and brought another Caesar salad from the kitchen, this time assuring it was all good. Waiter did not have any basic customer service skills, our mood for the night was already ruined and so we just paid our bill, packed our pastas and left. Not impressed and this dinner date mishap ruined our night, not to mention the effects of their complete disregard for someones dietary and religious restrictions. Dietary restrictions: They put bacon in our salad after us telling our waiter minimum 3 times we dont eat bacon, complete disregard for someones religious beliefs and dietary restrictions

Went here for the first time and it was pretty much what i expected, a fast food equivalent of pasta places. The food wasnt bad especially for what we paid but if im craving some good pasta this place isnt a consideration. The staff were friendly and attentive

Food is delisious Atmosphere is cosy ans warm feel like home but the best thing is the service , Nathan is an amazing young man super respobsible polite with smile , i watched this water and he act like he is the owner following with his tables in a sharp eye to cover all needs , waters like Nathan are the dimonds that make the restaurant shine , thank you Nathan and thank you Mike the manager he is one kind of honest hard worker men did meet .
