580 Ritson Rd S, Oshawa, ON L1H 5K8, Canada
this was such a disappointment of a breakfast. when you wake threw the door it's so outdated and not looked after there are giant rips in the booths on every single one also the place just looked dirty and not only that but my Dad had to ask for a new fork literally three times and literally each time the fork still had dirty caked on left over food witch is disgusting. the male server he seems annoyed with us for asking for a new fork in the first place. the food is awful the potatos have no seasoning not even salt and pepper and the meat was just pathetic I mean I understand the prices are so low but charge me a bit more and actually give me a peace of meat worth eating not a tiny sliver of it. overall I was just so disappointed with the service here they don't care about the look of the restaurant what so ever so I can only imagine how gross the kitchen is. from what I could see It looked awful. if you actually want a good breakfast go to the white apron they are to die for and completely blow this place out of the water. I feel awful making such a bad review but I must be honest and tell it how it is. if this restaurant wants to draw in more people all they have to do is produce better food and clean up the place and update it. this place used to be amazing but it's just not anymore. don't recommend this place at all if I could give 0 out of 5 I would.
Disgusting foods hair in the food the place was so dirty the bathroom was so filthy and dirty my kids are throwing up we are sick The potatoes barely cooked sausages were disgusting The building looks like it’s gonna fall apart she was a 90 year old cooking our food She had disgusting nails dirt in her nails I assume it’s her son And he gave us cutlery and cups they were dirty. My kids were looking at them disgusted I was disgusted. Her son nails were dirty i’m never coming back here
There's not many restaurants left that you can get the quality food they have here, especially at these prices! ambiance is rustic, the decor is like stepping into a 1960s or 70s classic restaurant It's a must try! ... Well worth the money and likely one of the last like it, try it before you can't! I repeat, this is a must try!
We tried The Forum because we read a review recommending the food. When we walked in, the woman sitting in a booth at the front looked us up and down, and said, "What do you want?" At that point, I wanted to leave, but my wife still wanted to try it out. The server was good and brought us our coffee, water and cutlery quickly. Unfortunately, the water glasses and cutlery were dirty. I had to chip off some caked-on food from my water glass, and my wife decided to order a burger so that she wouldn't have to use the cutlery. The burgers were greasy and bland. The fries were okay. The men's washroom was dirty and cluttered. There was a ladder, de-icing salt and a car door in there. There was also an old car door in the hallway from the washrooms to the kitchen. We definitely won't be going back to The Forum.
I was invited for lunch by a fellow foodie based in Whitby. We ended up at The Forum, a real old-school diner in Oshawa. It's a stand-alone building that looks trapped in time, with a brick facade, a crumbling metal awning over the entrance, a narrow interior with wood paneling and brickwork, and seating at booths only. This place is worn BUT has a charm about it! We ordered a Club House sandwich, and Hot Hamburger, both with fries and only $8.00 and $9.95, respectively. We also shared a Grilled Cheese sandwich with Bacon, only $7.50. The club sandwich was hefty, with lots of chicken and bacon. The hot hambuger, with two patties and lots of gravy was very filling. The fries, included with both dishes, were excellent - light and crispy. The grilled cheese sandwich had a generous amount of thick bacon and was pretty good. We both ended up taking home some food. With decent food and ultra low prices, The Forum is worth investigating. You can either embrace the nostalgic feel of the place or order takeout.
Just what I was looking for! Not many breakfast places are open very early anymore but The Forum fit the bill. Enjoyed my breakfast special and my daughter enjoyed the Western sandwich. Service was superb and the atmosphere was what I wanted and would expect from such a place.
This place is everything I have always wanted from a breakfast spot. It looks terrible from the outside and inside is just as bad... It's perfect!!! The food is unbelievable, the potatoes are perfect, the peameal is served in abundance, and the sausage is everything you wanted it to be. The toast is buttered from edge to edge and the coffee is delicious. The lady /owner operator doesn't communicate very well but somehow she understands exactly what you want. If you sleep on this place you're doing yourself a huge disservice. The forum is my new favorite breakfast in the Golden horseshoe area ❤️
We ordered breakfast and picked it up to go. 2 pemeal and egg breakfasts. It was so good!! Huge portions. So much pemeal and the potatoes tasted like heaven! Highly highly recommend checking this place out!!! We will definitely be regulars now!!
Great Food
old fashion breakfast.I like it vety much
Mama came up the isle way , pointed at me: breakfast , yes. Turned around got me breakfast , first time there. She is a mind reader...You get breakfast. Very reasonable price and a show.
These guys are making the absolute best of what they got. It may be simple and old school, but they do simple and old school incredibly well. In times where all the other guys seem to be doubling their prices, Its comforting that this place manages to provide exceptional food and service without breaking the bank.
A great place to grab a cheap breakfast. A little rough around the edges but the food is inexpensive, you get large portions and its made fresh to order. Real potato home fries on the grill, eggs never overcooked and its truly a family run business. Remember to bring cash as they dont accept credit or debit!
It is what it is... old school, best breakfast on the planet, home cooked by a family that has ran it for 50 years that I know of! Second to none
This is 1960-70s classic breakfast dive. I loved everything about it. Old, the smells of when I was a small boy. The coffee was great! My breakfast included 3 eggs, 5pc bacon.,huge portions of home fries. And toast. 9.95 coffee included. It was hot, and fast! 10 stars.
Best breakfast in durham! Weve been going for over 2years now and havent been anywhere else. Friendly, lots of food and great prices. Wish we discovered the Forum sooner.
If you love breakfast youll love this place! The nicest people, amazing food!
Like goi g back in time. They do morning breakfast for a good price. I like to support local. Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair ramp.
Definitely a hidden jem!
Great food
This is a great classic locally owned diner. They definately dont make em like this anymore. Prices are extremely fair and portions are plentiful. Owners are kind and provide exemplary service. Amazing breakfast specials that I cant recommend enough. In true classical fashion, they only accept cash
This place has been here for decades, there is just something special about the way the food tastes here. You can tell momma puts love into everything she cooks. Amazing portions and even better prices. It may not look nice from the outside. And is definitely dated on the inside, but the food is delicious.
First time coming here and now they have a customer for life!! Still great food at a great price!
Excellent place to eat .big portions n really reasonable price
I had the bacon and eggs. I also had fries with gravy with a side of pemale bacon the next day and another time I had the banquet burger with a side of fries and gravy. All the food has been phenomenal and the staff is awesome. They really have a home town vibe to them they really put forth effort in the making of the food and the bacon is some of the best I ve ever had and the food around. I can t wait to go again for the third day in a row. Try something different. Thank you so much for amazing staff and service.
Im still sitting in here as I write this. This food is AMAZING. The home fries are made fresh you can tell these are cut up fresh potatoes. The portions are HUGE for there breakfast deal. $9.95 and you honestly get TOO MUCH food. Ive never left a review where I can say they made too much. It was AMAZING. I can not stress this enough, if you want the most perfectly cooked crispy bacon, 3 large eggs and half a plate of home fries, you need to eat here!! The lady at the front door is an absolute angel, shes very sweet, and I can only assume the gentleman shes yelling at in the kitchen is her son lolol. Hes an absolute legend! The pair of them make this place feel like a shot of good ol fashion restaurants in the 90s. Definitely stop by this place. Parking: Large parking area
You need to go here and get the peameal and eggs. Ive been coming here for over 30 years. This was a regular spot for me and my dad, and now I take my kids here. They are growing boys and they need the portions here or they might wither away. Mama and Greg (RIP) will fix you a breakfast that cant be beat. We would get so much food, they had to layer it all on platters. The price was always a steal. The portions are a little smaller now and Mama getting a little slower but she still boogies. She is a real character. I miss listening to her and Greg argue as she was serving customers. Breakfast AND a show. Gregs gone now and she takes care of everyone herself with help from her son. The food is still as amazing as it always was. I truly love this place but its probably not where youd bring a first date... lol... The atmosphere is reminiscent of something between rustic and post-apocalyptic. Im pretty sure they decorated the place with prizes from the CNE in the 70s.... youll see what I mean. Still... the place may be a little worn but the kitchen is clean and the grub is fantastic. In 30 years, I think Ive only ordered off the menu once or twice. I always get the peameal and eggs with arguably the best homefries in town. Having said that. The burgers and fries were pretty good too, when I tried them. Just be sure to bring enough cash for a good tip.
Worst experience ever. The food was good but they dont charge the price on the menu The old lady was rude and arguemenative I would never go back
Was not clean.
great home made fast food takeout always hot and fresh
Ive been there twice. The lady who runs it is nice and polite, she really wants to serve you well. The place is run down and hasnt been upgraded or fixed up in many years. Rips in upholstery and not the cleanest. The food portions are generous but the flavor is mediocre. Because of the lack of cleanliness it makes you wonder how well the food is stored and handled. If you like dirty restaurants with generous portions of mediocre food then this place is for you. If youre looking for good value breakfasts in Oshawa Id recommend, Sherrys or Cosys.
Its old but the best food
Mom and pop restaurant.
Very bad food.
Early in the AM, doors and windows open and the place was freezing. The menu is quite limited. Food was slow and very, very bland. I added a lot of salt and pepper to give the boiled-potato home fries some flavour. One of my over-easy eggs was hard-cooked. The cash-only sign is underneath the front counter where only a child will see it. I had to walk to a gas station ATM after breakfast to get cash to pay for my meal. The elderly woman behind the cash quoted two different prices for breakfast and got nasty when I was confused and asked for clarification. Breakfast is cheap by current standards and the guy that works there is pleasant, but this was definitely a depressing one and done experience.
Epic meal.. Love this place Food
Food wasn t that great, place needs some renovations
Definitely not the fanciest place you ll find .. but the food is excellent as are the serving size and prices! Still only $9.95 for breakfast special (3 eggs, 4 bacon or sausage and lots of home fries - includes toast AND coffee or tea). Don t know where they get their eggs but they always taste better than any other restaurant!!
Great food. Has been for many many years
Good food great price.
Cash only! Four pieces of good bacon 3 eggs a ton of fried potatoes toast AND coffee for under 10 bucks!! Sit near the front. The old gal doesnt move that fast anymore. Cash only leave a good tip. Parking: 30 spots right beside Kid-friendliness: Family owned
Food was really good.
Good ol hole in the wall locally owned restaurant just the way I like it. Food was great, good portion size and the price you can t beat! 3 meals and a 30% tip and it was only 40$. The place is a bit of a sight for sore eyes but I think that s what s part of what made it great for me personally because your there for the food not the frills! Service was friendly, looking forward to trying out some of the other options on the menu.
Amazing!!
Sad to report this, but on Wed, Dec 14, 2023, at noon, two friends and I went there for breakfast. It was as good as I remember, but after approx 12 hrs, we all became violently ill. I believe it was food poisoning as all three of us ate different servings, and all three of us experienced the violence of whatever it was. The owners son was our server, and his 90 year mother was on the grill. I remember him saying when we were finished that he hadnt been feeling well and he was experiencing the dry heaves. I thought nothing more about it until bad things started to happen. I also experienced dry heaves at the end of it all. I am now better but havent eaten since. It is now Saturday.
Awsome breakfast love these guys a real old school family run Restaurant reasonable prices but cash only Totally worth it!
I called in to order and I could not underatand what the lady was saying and she couldnt understand me but we both got two 2 orders of bacon and eggs. Once i hung up the phone i knew it was gonna be amazing and it definitly was. Probably the best breakfast in durham region but its CASH ONLY.
The absolute best in Mom and Pop, greasy spoon restaurants. The portions and price are both excellent! Its definitely my new go to for breakfast and I cant wait to try the hot hamburger for dinner. Try it youll love it!
My wife and I have been going here for more than 30 plus years the food is fantastic mama is A pleasure to talk to every time were in town we make a point of going here.
now re-opened after lock down! Hidden and almost forgotten gem. If you leave still hungry, go see your Dr, you have a tape worm.
So good.
Great food. We went for breakfast. It was very good. Only reason not 5 star is not much selection for people who dont like eggs. The prices are great and the portions are huge.
Its has been the best place to have breakfast in Oshawa for years Food has always been great and portions all you need Prices are fair Usually theres entertainment on the weekend Good bands and single acts Nice quaint place for a night out
Enjoyed the toast western
My wife and I just had the very best breakfast that weve had in a while. Great service, sweet little lady who fed us well and made us feel like family. A great experience. Ignore the decor, enjoy the food and service, and pay them well! Well go back often now.
Great size breakfast at a very good price.
It s definitely a greasy spoon. It doesn t look like much but it s definitely good and the price cannot be beat. Staff are friendly, the older lady/cook was super friendly and gave us larger portions for no extra charge! You can t get 2 breakfast platters for $15 especially that size. Tons of parking as well.
A step back in time great food for a awesome price
Great home style breakfast. Putine and burgers. Fair price and large portions This place has history, and is the last of the great greasy Spoon. Love the family atmosphere. Its a regular haunt.
Awesome food here.. 40 years. Same hot hamburger about 5lb total..yummy
Great food. Family owned business at a historic location. Breakfast is amazing.
Love this place, and all its 1970s glory. The food is home style, large portions and delicious. Just remember to bring cash.
Love this diner! Food is fantastic and plentiful. Always made to feel welcome. Our go to about once a week. Decor might be a little dated but so are the prices. Best deals around. Cash only!
Greasy Spoon? Yes. Cash only? Yes. But you can get a tasty giant of a Toasted Western for $6.
Great place for a traditional breakfast. Cant beat the price for the portions. Parking: Large parking lot Food : 4/5 |
Love this place...
Very cool old school place , Owner / operator the cutest old lady that operates the Restaurant .Great food. , very nice.
I absolutely love this place. The food is delicious and you will not find better prices in the entire GTA
My family and I went last week and it was an awful experience. We ordered 3 hot hamburgers. We love old greasy spoon restaurants so we were looking forward to them. We were served by the owners son. He had the most disgusting dirty nails Ive ever seen. Then we were served the hot hamburgers. The fries were decent, but the hamburgers were just frozen rubbery patties. Our first and last time for sure
There are not many places like this left! A trip through time! Food is good. Prices are amazing. An experience like this is hard to replicate. Old school as it gets. Bring cash!
Great customer service and great food.
Didnt actually eat, because its cash only and I was short on time with no cash in hand. Staff was very friendly though
Fantastic western sandwich. Breakfast is amazing.
Family run , momma behind the shelf cooking and laughing all the time. Old time greasy spoon. Great prices, home cooking and plenty of it. Gotta try it
Good food at good prices
Amazing
Very good
Unbelievable value for your hard earned money. 3 eggs 5 piece of bacon real potato home fries and toast 8 bucks. Say hello to mama she been cooking since the beginning of time
Great food, great prices, great people! Will definitely come back.
An unassuming joint from the outside, but some great food and even greater value. You wont leave hungry. A true family restaurant. A must try if youre a breakfast lover.
Great food, great value.... Nothing has changed in the 20ish years Ive gone
First time ever coming here and felt very welcomed!! Owners (mom and son) are so nice and make you feel very comfortable and welcome and the food is great!!! Made with love and you get a lot of food for the small prices....I would definitely come back and suggest if you want a fast good home made breakfast this is your spot!!
Great food. Big portions. Great value. Ill be back.
Best breakfast in oshawa
Great food and great portions. Definitely will eat here again
Great food, great service, friendly staff! GREAT VALUE
I have been eating at the Forum Restaurant since I was a young lady. I drove taxi over 30 years and every day I would see mommas smiling face we would make each other laugh cause my friend and I would stare over the menu and I would take the longest and before I could speak she would say I know WESTERN OMELETTE for a little while I had to stay at the kmotel up the street and even if I was down and had no money she would always make sure I ate matter if fact I am ordering take out today As reviews have described served with a smile and sweet conversation plenty of food always cooked to the individuals satisfaction I am so glad still in business MOMMA Theresa
Very friendly owners. Not a fancy place but there was a lot of food and it was very good. Will definitely return.
Family breakfast place ... Friendly and good
Had not been in in six yrs was glad to the menu the same best breakfast in North America ,,, Momma is the Best ... George Jr. Okay too Best Plc for Breakfast.... Tony D
First time there food was wonderful will definitely go back.
This is a mom and son ran small business and it s truly a hidden gem! If you re in the Oshawa or surrounding area be sure to pay them a visit for some very REASONABLY PRICED and DELICIOUS diner food!
Great food. Large quantity. Very fair pricing. The owner is very nice.
Great hamburger but the steak on a Kaiser not so great
Helpings are too big so I doggy bagged and ate the rest the following day
8$ with tax huge amount of home fries, 6 strips of bacon 3 eggs and toast, best breakfast deal around I will be back for sure thank you.
The best breakfast ever
The woman who took my order was the sweetest nicest lady ive ever met in my life but the food made me so sick.. its also a very unclean restaurant.
Great breakfast both quality and quantity. And for $8? Unreal. Super nice people too, I will 100 continue coming here
Good home burgers! Frozen fries and no debit took score down.
Extremely dated and a bit dirty interior, food wasnt very good. Steer clear of this place!
Old School Diner run by the same Greek family for decades. My family owns a local business close by and the owners of Forum are constantly dropping off breakfast sammys which are delicious. They remind of the ones my grandma used to make me growing up.
This is now my go to restaurant for breakfast! The amount of food you get is really outstanding and tastes even better. The prices are SO good and the service you get when you walk in is heartwarming! Definitely going to be eating here often
Went there for the first time this week.. will be back again, great food great price friendly staff.. family run.. what more can you ask for
Great food, huge potions, insane prices. Love it.
Love the food ! Huge portions for a very great price! Mama is the sweetest lady and cooks a mean Western
We have been going to this restaurant for over 30 years. Their food quality, quantity and prices remain excellent and the service from the owner Mama is second to none. She is so kind and sweet and deserves all the business Oshawa can give her. Check The Forum out!! Its a tiny place but as mentioned earlier, the portions are large and the prices are reasonable. For a home cooked meal made with love, visit Mama at The Forum on Ritson Rd South in Oshawa!!! You wont regret it!
Mama was great! Food quality and service was exceptional! Cost was was the stuff dreams are made of!
It depends on what you re looking for. We were looking for an experience, and we definitely got one. We left full (the portion sizes are mountainous), smiling, but a little concerned about how it was going to sit in our stomachs. If you are worried about cleanliness or decor, this may not be your place to eat. The service was great, and the regulars at a nearby table raved about the restaurant. There is something to be said for a diner that s been in business for 50 years.
Portions of food were great,however...we asked twice for Crispy Bacon, but they failed to deliver on it and what we had did not seem to be good bacon to start with!
Great breakfast for the price, little old lady wants to feed you. Three eggs, five pieces of bacon and lots of home fries, great breakfast.
Always great portions for your money
This place is a border-line dive, however outstanding value for your money. Portions are beyond generous!
This is what a diner is supposed to be if I had this near me I would never buy groceries. Home cooked food made by mom. Prices are great and portions are twice the size as mcdonalds. Im so putting on weight today.
Super friendly staff. Nice location. Breakfast was expensive and awful. We all ended up throwing out our meals. Overly greasy eggs, way undercooked bacon, and tasteless soggy potatoes. Never met a breakfast I didnt like but this was horrible.
Old fashioned cooking mmm
Dive but food is good
I had steak on toast. Was a huge plate if food!
Large portions, lovely owner
Great Breakfest Cash Only No Debit
Best Breakfast I ever had lots of food for $8, 3 eggs 5 big bacon potatoes and toast. This was yummy yummy to my tummy.
Great priced breakfast! Food was tasty. Will definitely return.
Visit Mama at the Forum she runs this restaurant on her own and has been there for years. Oh the stories she can tell, a lovely human being She cooks up a huge portion of eggs, hasbrowns and bacon
Love this place food so good
So I was scrolling through social media (Facebook to be exact) and came across this restaurant. I decided today was the day I was going to try it for the first time with a few friends, what a great choice we made!! The owner and her son were very welcoming and very nice! The food TASTE GREAT and it s a GREAT PRICE for the amount you get! I highly recommend going there for any meal! (Cash only, they don t take debit or credit)
Nice old dinner, great portions/ great food!
Old fashioned
Love eating there
Love her. Great food.
Cheap. Decent breakfast. Friendly owners. Nice little place.
Always amazing! Her food is delicious, service is fantastic. She is so friendly and always there to help you out. The helpings are huge, you definately dont leave hungry and the prices are just right. All the food is amazing especially the pea meal bacon and eggs, and the bacon and eggs! Coffee even a bonus! Signed a Frequent customer, with lots of love mama
This place has amazing food ! Always has since I was a baby !! 30 years later its as till amazing.
A little run down looking but it is old obviously. Amazing food amazing prices. Amazing service love it here! Oh and huge portions! You need patience they are like 80 years old. But soo worth it. You will not be disappointed.
Cash only - no debit. I didnt ask about credit. Fast and friendly service - I ordered a hamburger and they even threw in some home fries for free! The burger could use a bit more seasoning. And the booths need some repairs. Other than that, its a nice place to stop in and grab a quick bite to eat. Thanks, Forum!
Nice place to eat at. The food is to die for. Although this is a dive and they only take cash, I would eat here again. Had what is known as a western omelette burger. Was given a free side of fries. Thanks again to the wonderful owners.
This is a very small Diner, nothing fancy inside or outside. However, the older couple who runs the place are really sweet and interesting to talk to. Their sons drop in sometimes. I stopped in Sunday afternoon with a friend of mine for brunch and and our plates were piled high with potato wedges, covering the egg and bacon or ham. They had a pretty good selection of juice and hot drinks as well.
Great place good food.
Great breakfast here
Fast, quick hot home cooked meal and for less than a burger. Sit down and enjoy..
This epitomizes the Shwa. Down to earth, hard working, friendly older couple. Decor straight outta the 60s. No breakfast in the city compares to this. Hot chicken piled high and smothered in gravy. It ain t fancy but it s the total Shwa experience. Don t miss out!
Great little dive spot serving a fine breakfast. Opens before 6am moat days
Love this place. An old style no frills diner with great, cheap food and friendly service.
Home cooked food at reasonable prices.
Amazing breakfast.. Wonderful service..
Great breakfast. Lots of good for a cheap price.
Great food
My dad took me here as a kid and I still go from time to time. It looks exactly the same and the food has always been perfect. No Debit, No ATMs, No change tables( peaceful breakfast;) )
Not bad place! I had bacon and eggs and it was pretty good for a cheap price. Very good coffee too! The owners are very nice and friendly. You have to respect and be understanding of them because they are in their 80s I think. The place is kinda old and outdated. But sometimes you can get tasty food and eat well at these kind of places.
Amazing
This place was honestly amazing. Great friendly service, excellent food, and big portions.
Great breakie sandwich
Great breakfast real potatoes and 5 stripes of Bacon with coffee and 3 eggs mom is over 60 but lots of fun.
I feel like I was duped by the other reviews, i would never come back here. The place is so dirty (I feel like calling the health inspector dirty) and I felt disgusting using the washroom. The food is absolutely sub par. The eggs were undercooked, sausage was wet, and the potatoes tasted like charcoal. It is also not family friendly; there is no change table in the washrooms. They also only take cash and have no ATM.
Not really impressed.
Good food great price the place is old but clean .not for people who are high on themselves. Mom and pop place
Good food big plates but not to clean but it was good food
Great food, great price, cant tip them enough. Best breakfast youll find in Durham.
Not clean, washrooms need good cleaning and an upgrade. I even had to clean my own coffee cup. Food was average. As stated previously cash only. Wouldnt recommend this place and I wont be going back either.
If your hungry. This is the place. Great food for the value.
Owners are very friendly and the food was great!
If you want a state of art restaurant with free WiFi and debit go elsewhere. The restaurant is an old and worn mom and pop hole in the wall but the food is incredible. No one else can come close.
Always great breakfast! Great portions! No where else has same portions for the price. Strong coffee. Be sure to say Hi to momma or pappa on way in.
Mom is over 80 and refuses to retire. Sweetest woman. Great burgers- real meat. Large portions. its clean- just run down- its been exactly the same for over 40 years! Want baby change tables and atms go to mcdonalds- want a good meal made with real food at unbelievably inexpensive prices- come here.
Love this place and their breakfast for forty years...mama is the sweetest lady you will ever meet
Awesome thanks for the nostalgia
Old style mom and pop place good food and lots of it . building may be old but its clean
Good food great old couple been there for years
Been eating here semi-regularly since 96. Love this place. Its a real period truck drivers diner. Everything here is good - and theres more than lots of it. Time as left this little place behind, though. The owners are well into their 80s, and have no interest in renovating. The place is just fine the way it is in their eyes. You have to be able to look over/through some things to eat here... things are stained, due primarily to age more than anything else. Doesnt stop Jaguar/BMW/Benz owners from eating there... Your tab will be added up on a napkin manually. There are NO employees - just the 2 octogenarians and occationally their 40 something year old son. Its a take it or leave it place - and Ill take it any day of the week.
Best food around. Mama and papa are the nicest folks. The gravy is to die for. Roast beef dinner all the way!
Lost my appetite the moment after being approached by an unhygienic and hairy elderly woman, whom I could barely understand. She served us our cutlery while her sweaty hands were rubbing on the bits where our mouths touch. The burgers tasted greasy and hard like they were unfrozen. For a old style diner experience go to the Rainbow on Simcoe St.
Loved it !
perfect! service Excellent, Food the same and Yummy and consistently delicious!
Best breakfast great servings great price and very accommodating
Good food, more than you can eat at a great price. Owners are very friendly. The western omelet was delicious.
