Had a 40th bday party for daughter and everyone was happy. 8 yr old to 84 yr old. Food hot and Samira our server was amazing. Dietary restrictions: Seafood allergy was acknowledged Parking: 33 Taunton in Oshawa Kid-friendliness: Kiddo Loved his French Toast

The portions are a good size, and there is a lot of choices on their menu. Service was quick, but the seating area felt a bit cramped. Parking: The parking lot is not well lit. Wheelchair accessibility: The small ramp near the front door is very slippery and dangerous when wet.

On Tuesday we were enterrained by a street magician who made the visit extra special. His tricks were mesmerizing and left us puzzled trying too figure out how he did it. This unique addition to the dining experience was really fun and we will definitely return on Tuesday evening.

Best Pad Thai in Durham region!! Filled with loads of veggies, tender chicken bites and plump shrimp, and topped with all the right trimmings: sprouts, peanuts, green onions and a slice of lime. Very very flavourful sauce.

Visited One Eyed Jack and got served by Maria. She was very attentive, quick, and hospitable. Will definitely be coming back, would recommend the chicken souvlaki.

Went for the wing special, which was the only decent part of the night. The service? Absolutely horrendous. There were five of us, and we waited forever just to get drinks. By the time our food finally arrived 40 minutes later it was just wings that we ordered. I guess they were killing the chicken and peeling the potatoes!!! The worst part? The bathroom was filthy and clearly hadn t been cleaned in ages. Tried to find staff to report it, but surprise no one was around. It felt like the entire place was being run by ghosts. Total disaster

I have a pretty bad shellfish allergy and everytime I have gone to or ordered from one eyed Jacks they have done their best to accommodate me. I usually sit outside when its warm and know they they their best. I ordered a wrap tonight and i received a call to ask if Id prefer grilled chicken cooked away from the fryers as they have a lot of shellfish on the menu. I really appreciate taking my health seriously and offering an alternative that made everyone feel better. Thank you!

We had a reservation for 8 of us at 7 PM. When we got there, we were brought to the back room which was very small. It was packed like and there were people screaming and yelling and standing up like it was their own private party room. I was not the only one that was mad about the situation. Other people came to me and said they were going to complain to the manager. So we put up with it for an hour and a 1/2. And at the end of the meal I complained to the manager first of all the service and the meal were good. I have no problems with that. Its the manager and the way he didnt do anything. He just sat there. I talked to him afterwards and he said. What you want me to do scream at them that was his response. I said no, but you could have told them to sit down. And calm down, theres other customers here.Stop screaming at the top of your lungs and act is like its your own private party menu but he did nothing.Of course , so hence , thats why I write this review. I will never, ever go back there again nor my friends or family.The manager did not do his job properly as far as im concerned!!! A very disappointed customer And im not the only one!

2nd time at the location, clean inside restaurant and bathrooms, menu is unlimited the food is prepared and hot when delivered to the table, The service again exceptional we were served by Jessie who was trained by Jen the 1st time I was there Jen was our server. It goes a long way when one great server trains another! Hats off to these 2 ladies for a job well done!

I ate once here recently for the Diablo burger. It was huge, crispy, and delicious, very filling! I had some soup of the day and it was nice as well. Definitely recommend checking it out. Not cheap, but Ill go back here and there.

We saw a mouse in the restaurant and the manager said it was being taken care of tomorrow. No concern at all. Seems very unsanitary, they re continuing to serve food all night.

It is so loud in here that people are yelling at each other. The football game was on LOUD too. If I wanted to watch football, Id stay home or go to a sports bar. The food is good, but the noise is awful, and its so dark that its hard to see. Thankfully the TVs at the tables gave some light. Not impressed....

First time at this restaurant. I was so impressed with how clean the restaurant and the bathrooms were. The food was made fresh and hot when served. We had smiles and courteous wait staff from walking in to leaving. Our server Jen was exceptional. We will definitely return !!

Fantastic, very tasty food! I have come several times recently. It s the atmosphere I struggle with: when someone orders fish two tables away then the place STINKS like a fish market! Stomach turning experience! When someone orders chicken fajitas, they arrive on a sizzling skillet and smoke out the surrounding 6+ tables . Then it starts smelling like burnt food. Why do other people s food orders need to disrupt everyone around? Other than that, LOTS of stimulation with more tv screens than I can count and plenty of slightly over-noisy music. Will I come back? Yes, because the food is that good! I hope to sit outside, though.

We sat on the patio. The service was good, but all we could smell was cigarette smoke and the metal chairs were extremely loud everytime someone moved. Perhaps some rubber feet on the chairs would help.

This is a good restaurant. Service is very good everytime I eat here and there are plenty of screen to watch your favourite teams or you can just enjoy a nice dinner out. Prices are fair and food quality is generally very good. If you order dessert, avoid the carrot cake as it is not great. Grocery store cake right out of the fridge is about the same. However every entree dish I order is well prepared and very tasty and their wings are also top 10. Enjoy.

worst place for communication when it comes to there parking lot. my cars been vandalized 4 times now within the past few months. i come very often about 4 times a week. dine in or take out. each time this has happened i m told to kick rocks basically. police do nothing just as much as these owners. i have over $5000 in damage due to this lot and poor owners who can t seem to work there cameras. will no longer be eating from here nor giving my money to this company. do better. understand how to own a business for once. ZERO stars. i do not recommend coming here at all. first it was the owners getting in trouble themselves to allow their customers to feel unsafe there too. 0/10

Manager told wait staff to close up half the patio while we were finishing our meals and drinks. It was so loud dragging the steal chairs along the patio. Not enjoyable. Not sure why staff couldn t lift the chairs instead of dragging them across the patio 30 ft.

This is the 6th time we have visited this location and I must say, I m always pleased. Our server Maria is always phenomenal, we ask for her when she s on shift because she s funny, friendly and super kind - she s treats us like we are her only customers! Our food was hot and yummy! Will be back for sure!

Music way too loud -- marginally acceptable until 9:00 pm but after a DJ started, it became unbearable. Frankly, I wouldnt even call it music -- it was just loud noise. We left just after 9:00 pm along with a mass exodus of other patrons.

We had a reservation for 530pm on Saturday night. Food was good, service was good, everything was fine till 640pm, when the hostess came to our table and mentioned that there was a reservation at our table for 7pm. We said we would probably be done by then. Then 645 our server came by and said do you mind if I bill you out as there is a reservation here for 7. We told her we were aware and its ok to bill us out. Next thing you know , they let the reservation guest head over to the table next to us. It was a 4 seat table and there was 6 of them, this is now 650pm. So they are waiting for our table and standing around. Now we are all a little upset. So we asked to speak to manager. I asked him, why would you let them in if there table wasnt ready( you could tell it was for a large group). Its fine to let us be aware , but its not fine to have the next group waiting for us to move on. I said to the so called manager( as his reasoning was that it was a new manager at the door and he will talk to him about that and that he had just came in for a little bit to help out, so he was unsure about what was going on???) One Eyed Jacks, get it together, when theres reservations, give yourself an extra 15 minutes between reservations so dont disrupt the one before it. Hopefully lesson learned.

I had the beef tenderloin Philly and it was fantastic. Our server was Samira who was absolutely phenomenal making sure we were all taken care of.

Paige truly made our night unforgettable with her infectious energy and attentive service. The food was absolutely mouthwatering (insert Homer drool gif), though the portions were so generous they nearly put us into a food coma! Even though Jay the new manger mentioned he was new to the role, his warm welcome and genuine care for every guest showed his dedication. Were giving this place a million stars for the exceptional treatment and amazing dining experience well definitely be back!

Big family birthday party, over 40 people in the back area. Air conditioning was non-existent, but Samira (hope I spelled her name right!), our server, was BEYOND a rock star. She ran off her feet and made sure everything and everyone was looked after. Hope the owners appreciate how dedicated and hard this Girl works. She smiled, laughed and was patient with all guests from 85 to 8 years old and never missed a beat. Pretty sure she was also serving tables as well as our large party. We ordered over 100$ in food. My father didn t get his salad and I was given the saddest excuse for butter chicken I have ever seen. I did not taste a single Indian spice that butter chicken should have , there was 0 cream in this sauce and absolutely full of oil. Unreal that you would call this butter chicken and every time we order you guys miss something as well. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH TAKE OUT ORDERS. Update 2024-07-10 We called the restaurant to speak to Jay as requested. Instead we got someone else since Jay was not there. This individual decided to tell us , Listen, this isnt an Indian Restaurant thats how we make it. Number 1, I am well aware your not an Indian restaurant I am no an idiot, but, in your menu you have an Indian Item, one would expect it to taste to some degree like the actual dish. Not some cheap version where you save money by adding no cream or spices to resemble Butter chicken. We have been coming here for a while, but , that is now done with due to poor managers who talk to their customers like their idiots. You took my money no problem, but, decided to give me Oil Sauce and chicken instead of butter chicken. Lets not forget, cannot follow a simple instruction like please add a salad to my order as well.

May 3, 2024 - Somehow the food isnt of best quality with this location, serving staff can be a hit or miss as well. But they sure all very busy mostly. Hope for better experience if there is a next time. OCT 8, 2023- not so busy for long weekend Sunday night, but staff was still changing hands, one clue-less server bringing wrong food to wrong tables, wings were not as saucy, pasta our friend ordered was on dry side...its a write-off for todays visit; hope it doesnt disappoint as much the next time Very good pub-fare food, their menu has lots of options. All staff seem very nice and professional. Their glassware for beer were so clean, good quality pour, bubbles soaring up throughout our meal... Decent decor and music playing indoors. Overall a great experience, no wonder why they are always busy!

Saturday night birthday dinner. To begin the reservation was lost and had to wait for staff to remove current patrons from their table. Once seated in separate groups around the building and placed orders. Took 40 mins for anything to be brought to the table. Food arrived before drinks . A tall can of beer took 40 mins to get to the table . Horrible service. Horrible management. Horrible experience.

Don t make a reservation here. Came for a friends birthday and they had sat TWO tables in our reservation. Our group was split. The food came out at different times for different people, before our drinks. This reservation was made more than a month ago and followed up on and confirmed this morning. Disappointing.

Please don t accept large party reservations if you cannot accommodate them. This isn t fair to your servers, your guests and honestly really hurts the reputation of your establishment. Do better. 4/27 you were utterly unprepared.

We eat lunch as a group once a week. Always space for us, there is a huge menu and copious amounts of food. Great service staff. Excellent house made soups. Personal favorite. Good value in a time where eating out at lunch time is an investment.

My favorite food establishment in Oshawa! We order delivery from them all the time, and in the summer we come to dine on the terrace. Its always delicious, havent had one yet that we tried and didnt like. I recommend trying: chicken quesadilla, lasagna, mac and cheese, chef burger, chicken curry, souvlaki meal

Easily a five star establishment! So many menu options, and (from my experiences) all positive! I had the prime rib tacos, and let me tell you, they were fantastic! The staff were kind and friendly and my party of five were able to get a table with no wait time and no reservation. I had a great time, paired with great food! Totally leave this place a visit! The food was good, fresh, and didnt take long. However, we were there for over 90 minutes and never saw our waitress or anyone else to check on us after our food was served. Parking: Full! Had to squeeze into a tight spot, and the restaurant did not look busy enough to be the problem.

Sports pub......used to be a shoeless Joes back in the day....its a good place to eat however. The service, it all depends on who you get.....sometimes its quick and attentive, other times you have to call your server over to get service. Judge accordingly.

Came with my husband on Monday night. Food was good but service was horrible. Never was asked once if were were ok or needed anything. The restaurant wasnt even busy. We were so thirsty and were waiting for our waitress to come by for refills. Never did she come by. We ordered lots of wings and also needed napkins.... horrible service! Now we have been waiting for her to come by so we can simply ask for the bill... The man who brought the food for us from the kitchen was very nice but unfortunately the waitress had zero customer service.

Was a quick stop for a beer and snack. I tried the short rib taco. It s tastes great full of flavors. Lots of meat per taco that I ve ever seen. Totally worth it. The staff there is friendly. I will definitely go back. By the way, The menu book looks so good your mouth will be water flipping through each page.

Always great food. Nicole at Oshawa, Simcoe St is a fabulous server. We ve never been disappointed at this location. The beet salad is about the best salad we ve ever had. We go at least once every week. Today it s a little noisy, hence the 4 star for atmosphere.

Fort time here. Quick to be seated but after we got our food we did not see a server for almost 1 hr. Food was hot and fresh but bland. Draft beer taste stale. Fridays are extremely busy, I came around 5 pm and the place was packed. Not sure if I d go back for food.

Service was extremely slow. We ate in, then ordered an extra meal to take home. The server was supposed to bring it out with our bill. She brought out the food with no bill. After waiting 15 mins, I got up from the table to track her down. Found her, and she brought a bill with no apology.

We used to be regulars but since new management the food and atmosphere has gone downhill and we don t wanna come here anymore. Management are not welcoming and seem to be very unfriendly and don t even interact with customers also won t let waitresses talk to customers for long even when it s dead or they will get in trouble we were told. Food is not the best and lacking flavour, yesterday we ordered a bunch of appetizers and 1 lbs of wings and got my go to flavour Guinness bbq and when they came I tried them and were very spicy and vinegary, told waitress and she brought them back to kitchen then brought wings back and said kitchen staff said no we are sure these are Guinness bbq but we will give you another flavour on the house we said ok, well they ended up taking the wings back instead of letting us keep them and gave us the new wings that were just regular bbq in less then 3 minutes so we know they weren t fresh and they only gave us 5, they also were horrible tasting and everyone at the table said they tasted like ketchup with extra vinegar. We thought that was ridiculous you don t offer something on the house but take the one someone complained about away that s a childish move on management cause we know it wasn t the waitress as she is one of our regulars. Pretty said as we used to enjoy coming here and talking to the managers and waitresses.

First time trying it after our normal restaurant we go to said we couldnt get in for 2 hours. Decided to try and we definitely will be coming back. Great food and service. Will bring friends to try next time. Food : 5/5

Wings are huge, atmosphere and the company were fantastic . Server Jessica was wonderful and cheerful.

I came into this restaurant with my girlfriend!!! The food was excellent !! The staff was great also. I applaud the business owners for hiring Jessica who is the best server I ever had !!!! She was so nice and accommodating !!!! Thanks Jessica !!

Cynthia served us throught our visit at one eyed Jack and Im happy to say I was very pleased with her service and patience while we ordered our food she was fast and efficient. Thank you very much Cynthia.

We chose to call in an order for pick up, originally told we would have to order online. When my husband asked why not over the phone they reluctantly took the order. Obviously they werent paying attention as the order was incorrect. I wanted pouting with gravy on the side that did not happen it was soggy by the time we got home 7 minutes after pick up. My hubby order wings and fries with veggies on the side when he got home there were no fries and the veggies in a separate bag were covered in honey garlic sauce. You have now lost 2 customers. The staff member who he dealt with at the restaurant was very rude and impatient.

Had an amazing time here. We were seated promptly and the food was amazing. Waitreses made sure we were happy and were extremyl accommodating. Will definitely come back. Keep it Jack!!!

This restaurant has declined considerably in food quality. Ive dined in and gotten takeout recently and both times were a huge disappointment. I became ill with gastrointestinal issues the last time I ordered from here (chicken). Food has been dry, re heated and stale, tasteless, served luke warm, delivered cold and overpriced. Used to be one of my fave places to eat. Will no longer eat here.
