We absolutely loved the atmosphere and the service. It was phenomenal. On the other hand, the portions seem to be tiny, the food overall a little bit overpriced. Still, would recommend. Warning, it can be crowded and loud on a Saturday night.

That there were only 6 customers on a Saturday evening should have warned me away but it was conveniently located in the same building as the Holiday Inn I was staying in. I understand its a restaurant based upon hockey and owned and operated by a hockey player but the 90 decibels of the televisions playing the nights game made me wish I had earplugs. The volume was just as loud during the commercials. I ordered the 30 dollar steak frites rare. She ordered the nachos with chicken and specified no jalapenos or olives. Overcooked steak arrived with a burnt charcoal crust and the fries were cold. Her nachos were replete with both jalapenos and olives and were pretty sure the cheese was Cheez whiz. We escaped to the hotel vowing to write a negative review. YOU just read it /

Amber made a wonderful recommendation for Beef Au Jus meal. We were not disappointed, it was a 5 star dinner. We have never been disappointed with there food here. Looking forward to coming back and trying a new meal, thank you guys!

I have been here a couple times before comedy shows. But last night had to be the worse experience I have ever encountered here to the point I won t be returning for food or drink again. The services was insanely horrible, there was a table across from me a single mother and two kids she had to get up in order to get cutlery to eat her meal, they dropped off 10 minutes prior. The table waited 30 plus minutes to get their bill. Either way that added to my experience. Our server just never returned to the table. We were seeing a comedy show she was aware of this and decided to not return to the table to take our orders. I had to get up pay for the bill and food in order to make the show on time. I saw the server while I was paying and her response to me was I am busy for the reasoning of her not returning to take our meal orders. The kicker to it she was severing the comedy show as well. The owner of this restaurant needs to revaluate how to run a comedy club and restaurant. First step don t serve food to the comedy club (drinks only) comedians hate the sound of plates and servers talking over their bits. Also put less seats in the shows the audience will be more likely to return. I however will not be back.

Update: I just came in today and the AC is working again! You all need to come and enjoy the delicious food and the amazing staff!!! I have been here multiple times over the last few months, the food is amazing, the service is top notch! Julia, Kaylie, McKenzie and more are AWESOME! I came in today and it s like a sauna in there! I guess the AC has been broken for awhile. Please get it fixed! It s unbearable for the customers I can t imagine how the staff is dealing with it.

Service severely sucked. Didnt get a proper waitress at all. The one we had wasnt even her section. Food was fine. Waited 25 minutes just for the bill. Great job really...

Food was just ok. Beer selection is the standard big brewery offerings. Server was new (first shift ) and made a lot of mistakes, but that is a management issue.

Great food and perfect service

This is an update to a previous negative review. We are now convinced that our experienced described at that time was a one-of. My wife and I decided to give Wendels another go and we are delighted that we did. Our server, Julia, remembered us. She re-instated our positive feelings. She was engaging and helpful. Service was consistently prompt and pleasant. She is the reason for our change of heart. Oh, and the food was excellent. As a sidenote, there were many other clients there who seemed equally delighted with their experience.

Edit: June 14th/2024 - We hadnt been to Wendel Clarks for weeks due to an unexpected poor experience. We decided to give it another try because we believe in another chance. Julia put our faith back in Wendel Clarks. If Wendel Clark reads reviews, give Julia a raise! Recently moved to Oshawa. We have gone to Wendel Clarks twice for dinner. Lots of tvs for the sports fans. Hot delicious food, friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere on both occasions. On this visit, we had the Beef Dip and also the Blackened Chicken with Brie . A yummy cheesecake too. Would definitely recommend the food, service and ambience at this location if you happen to be in Oshawa. We will return! :)

With Wendel!

Took my wife and kids to Wendels last Monday for the Leafs game, and to meet Wendel (although I had met him as a teen many years ago). The food was great, service was great, and the Leafs won, which made the experience all the better! Loved seeing Wendel again after all these years, he was always my favourite player growing up. I would definitely recommend Wendels! Cant wait to go back!!!

I ve had some good meals here, chicken sandwich is good, burgers good. Ordered the wings tonight, they were probably the worst I ve had. Dry, no flavour, just all batter. Might order here again but definitely not the wings. 0-10

We hosted a 20 person family dinner - the staff took care of us quickly and the food was fantastic ! We love the atmosphere the food and the staff !

The waitress tonight between 8 and 10 pm was acting agitated and argumentative, this was upsetting to me and my friend as we always try especially hard to be friendly and kind.

A disappointment. Everything was deep fried to death. It was obvious the grease was old as the wings and chicken fingers were a dark brown. The chicken quesadillas was advertised with peppers. We asked our waitress prior to ordering if the peppers were red or green. She had no clue. And when it arrived it came with little chicken and tomatoes. Not a pepper in sight. Waitress apologized, but in short Wendal if you are reading this, your staff is incompetent, the kitchen is less than knowledgeable and your manager was too busy on a laptop to care. Not to mention the entire time we were there was some kind of a plug/ electrical wire blocking the path which we had to step over on the way to the restrooms. Never returning.

We had 16 people there at 4pm yesterday. Our grandsons birthday (8). Food started to come out at around 5:20pm - the kids were the last to get their food. I felt that was unacceptable. Kids should always be fed first. It will be hard to return.

We came as a party of 4 before the gens game. I was excited as we are gens fans and this restaurant is highly advertised at the game. Upon arrival the greeting we got from the waitress was rushed and she walked us to the table. Dropped off the menus ans rushed away. 10 min later we got asked for drink order. When brought they were all wrong. We said don t worry about it will sort it out. Ordered our food. Wendell burgers were overdone, wings raw and every dish was cold. I asked for a new plate to be made and the manager was not on site. They made us a new plate; howerver server had major attitude. I m sorry, but for 145 dinner it was not worth $10. I would have been better off having a hot dog at the game. No compensation and to be honest they didn t even apologize. I would like to receive a complimentary dinner as I was not please with having to be out of pocket for terrible food and service.

What an amazing experience. Took the wife out for lunch today and fair to say, ol Wendel himself would be proud of his namesake restaurant being ran by such professional, orderly, cleanly and timely staff. Not to mention, the food was cooked to perfection! 10/10 would recommend. Will be going back and recommending to friends and family. Oh and the GM was full of class and hospitality. What a guest experience!!

We were here recently to have some wings and watch the game. They had a good selection of beer and a giant TV so I knew we made a good choice as soon as we walked in. Steph took care of our table and got our drinks and food out quickly, and recommended the apple butter BBQ wings, which were AWESOME. Tasty chicken wings and the sauce was super unique and delicious. I ended up ordering more to take home Overall a great experience and Ill definitely be back for more of those wings

Came from out of town, Mary was our server. She was so friendly and quick! Wendel burger was such good bang for your buck.

Very clean, open spaced and modern looking place. The service was good, not exceptional, but the pub food was just ok for all 4 of us, and we each had different items. Would be back for drinks and to watch a game on the tvs but likely not to have dinner again.

Excellent place to eat before going to an event at the TCC arena. We called ahead to reserve a table and the employee on the phone was very helpful. They were able to give us a rough idea on food readiness so we didnt miss the start of our event at the TCC. When we arrived they saw us with small children and arranged for us to use a booth. The food was ready promptly and tasted delicious. The serving sizes were appropriate and our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu. It is definitely a place to go whether its with a family or adult only group. Kid-friendliness: Our children thoroughly enjoyed their meals.

What a fantastic evening. The food was cooked to perfection and delivered with courtesy and haste by the lovely waitress. New York steak 10/10, fish & chips 10/10, maple, pecan & goat cheese salad 10/10. I have not gotten my bill and cannot wait to come back. Thank you Wendel Clark, and all of your wonderful staff.

A nice place for a get together and service was great. A little loud, but it s a sports bar. Good variety of food, and we all had something we enjoyed. But, I ordered a Maple Pecan Salad that had no apples or pecans as per the menu description. I did enjoy the first few bites, then the next few bites were gritty tasting, Extremely And I wasn t sure if the salad had been washed as it felt like I was eating a spoonful of sand. I asked the server and she assured me the lettuce comes prewashed and bagged.She took the salad off our bill. I thought it was just a one of, but one of our party had a wrap that was gritty as well, but she didn t eat it until later that night so could not go back. Was my first experience and might go back as my hubbys sandwich was great he said and sons wings were very good.

Drinks came, food never showed. Not sure what happened. But we will never be back. Wouldn t recommend Wendel s.

Had to ask for a refill on my water 5 times before they remembered, it sadly was not busy while I had to ask two different waitresses... everything else was very good, well cooked, and flavorful I will definitely eat here again, but maybe take out or delivery as service was just okayish. Esp waitress looking my fiance up and down. worst part the waitress tho also did not close off a section, or even mention a very large hockey team was coming in, and sat them all over around us. Unfortunately my fiance and father could no longer hear each other during the first time meeting which caused us to leave a bit earlier than we wanted. Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options

Considering it was game night, everybody at the bar did a fantastic job thank you stayed right on top of my order it was busy for the food service came accordingly. But everyone did a wonderful job thank you so much. Would highly recommend!

Was disappointed, we have dined here quite a few times and always had great food so making a choice for a place to go for NewYears we decided it would be a good choice. We could have ordered off the regular menu but the 4 of us decided to go with the NewYears special of the Prime Rib. The salad and bread was great but the main course for prime rib, potatoes, vegetables and Yorkshire was disappointing everything was cold, probably because it was the special and was prepared earlier for a quick turn around. We all thought after we should have ordered from the regular menu.

Had dinner there last night. We waited 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us. Then another 10 minutes before we received menus. Canada was playing for Gold and it was on all the big screens blaring. I could only see 2 people working the floor. The food was cold. I would think they would be better prepared for a busy night. Especially since the speakers outside were so loud bringing Im customers. I paid $18.99 for 8 wings no fries came with just a couple slivers of celery and carrots which he dropped the carrots on the floor and never replaced it. They couldnt even make an effort to slice the vegetables in nice pieces literally they were slivers. We were very disappointed with the service and the food.

Me and wife went here for late lunch. Wife order there walnut cranberry salad with chicken. She felt it to be very filling and very good. The flavours where amazing and fresh. I had the chicken burger and fries. Fries where great fresh cut fries couldnt ask for better. The burger looked liked it was cooked to crispy boy was I wrong. The fried pickles gave it a really nice zing in flavour, chicken was moist and had great flavour. Sever was great and prompt with any of our needs.

I attended the restaurant with my family approximately 8 of us for my birthday. Without any prior notification it seems the staff deemed that we had too much to drink. We were not drunk, and we were curdious. Because my wife unfortunately knocked over a shot by accident. They stalled us fot 45 min until we were told. We planned this for weeks. We even bought tickets to yuk yuks with which we did not attend. A terrible experience I will never go back and anyone who I can speak to I will let them know how bad of an experience that place is and how bad the staff is. We were there to spend money and have a good time and they treated us like garbage. Dont waste your time bringing your family or friends there..

I recently visited Wendal Clarks bar in Oshawa and was impressed by the friendly staff, especially Mary. She made sure I had everything I needed, the drinks were delicious and reasonably priced, and the food was great. Highly recommend!

First visit and will go back. Food, staff and environment were all great. One of the best locales in Durham for a night out with Yuk Yuks connected next door.

Large TV screen here makes this Sports Bar an iconic Restaurant. Especially if you want to take in the big game with a group of friends. They also provide a comedy show within the area Yuk Yuk. A really nice way to break up the night. The food here is especially good. The roasted vegetable soup was delicious. The 8 Oz steak was was cooked and tasted to perfection. The main bartender here was right on the mark with making sure everyone received their drinks quickly. Also ensuring no one over did it. The waitresses are always friendly here. Id would personally rank this Sports Bar as my favorite in Oshawa.

Horrible communication from the servers. We went in there at 10:30 on a Friday they told us last call was at 11:00 but the kitchen was still open we ordered food got a couple of drinks only to be told at 11:15 that the alarms would be set at 11:30 and we had to go. In 25 years of going to establishments Ive never seen this before.

Food was great for the Carlton Club House sandwich with onion rings. but I ordered a cookie for dessert and never showed up my friend got his and I didn t get mine at all. I will NOT BE BACK WHATSOEVER in the future. Not impressed at all.

HUGE shout out to our server Shiane?(sorry if I spelled it wrong) this girl was on her own and working her tail off dealing with 3 large parties plus a few smaller tables. I used the online option to look at the menu so that when she was able to come to my table we had our full order ready. It was nice to see that the kitchen staff came to assist her with bringing a few tables their food, and I was happy to see that before I left she got some much needed help from other serving staff. Food was also very tasty. I will definitely return.

Favourite spot for lunch for my husband and I. Food is always fresh and quick. Mathew their bartender is always polite and welcoming along with always has great input on whats good to eat. I highly recommend him as your server

First time there for dinner and the food was excellent. There was 3 of us. We grabbed the perogies to share and they were great. 1 meal was a single buffalo wing order, wings were perfectly done, skin was just crispy enough with great flavour. 2nd meal was Wendel burger & fries, the Wendel burger was awesome! It is loaded and the in house sauce is great. The other meal was the build your own burger with fries. Added cheese to the burg and must say it was very satisfying, really tasty and hit the spot. The lady who served us was very genuine and pleasant. The place was spotless and the background music was enjoyable. Highly recommend. The only thing I would add is more hockey memorabilia. I think there should be more extra large framed pics of Wendel in his playing days. More shots of the gardens, and some sticks on display etc. But other than that, great food. Will definately return.

This is now my go-to spot when coming through Oshawa. All the staff are super friendly and provide great service. Ive tried a few things from the menu, nothing disappointed but all time favs are between the maple galze salmon or the salad with cranberry and goat cheese Thank you to the staff for giving a chain resturaunt a personal feel. Food is AMAZING, we have had a couple of mixed experiences here. The first time they lost our reservation, but they were able to (mostly) accommodate. Every time after that has been spectacular.

This restaurant was chosen for Saturday July 29th for convenience more than anything as its attached to YUK YUKS in Oshawa were we were going for a show. It wasnt very busy snd they didnt have a very diverse menu. For starters for the table I ordered all star nachos. Not only were they good four of us struggled to complete the Dish. I know for next time to order the half portion. The hunters chicken was my entre and it was good with veggies and mashed potatoes. A couple of my friends had the maple baked salmon dish, which was good as well. The waitresses were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I would definitely give Wendel Clarks another visit or two. Parking: There is a lot by the convention center behind the restaurant. Although signage says otherwise (max. 3 hours parking) according to the restaurant staff its unlimited on weekends. We started dinner at 5:30 pm and walked next door around 7:30 pm for a YUK YUKS comedy show starting at 8 pm ending around 9:30 pm. Thats 4 hours and nobody hot a ticket.

Finally decided to try this place out for the first time the other day! Overall the food, atmosphere and service was as amazing especially the service!! Our server was Ginny (I think that s what she said? sorry!) she was super friendly and helpful, and checked up on us multiple times throughout our meal! My family tried out the all star nachos, the appetizer quesadilla, the caprese ravioli, and the top shelf crispy chicken sandwich. The nachos were great, lots of toppings and big serving size, quesadilla was technically an appetizer but was definitely big enough as its own meal! The caprese ravioli was rich but comes in a smaller portion so it s just the right amount, the only negative about the food is that the crispy chicken sandwich was very bland and almost burnt. Overall it is a great restaurant! My family would definitely return to try out some of their other dishes.

Good spot to eat before Generals game or concert, good food cold beer

Always enjoyed eating here in the past however something has changed recently. Fish tacos was a go to but last time fish was mushy and seemed like out of a box. Fries were under cooked. Maybe give it another chance before we write it off.

Great service and place

Came here before a concert at the tribute communities centre, got there around 4 o clock and glided right into a seat. Food was your typical bar fare served with fun hockey related names and a good atmosphere with the Leafs game on. Our server, Jenna, made us feel welcome, was always there when we needed something and brought our food in a timely fashion. Would recommend if ever looking for a place to get a good quick bite!

This was our second time going to the restaurant. The first time when we arrived they told us our reservation was canceled but food was good. So tonight we were going to a Tim Hicks concert at 8pm. We made reservation for 6pm when we got there they said our reservation was canceled which it wasnt, but they found us a table . We waited for our food to arrive and at 7:15 pm they came and told us they have no more chicken. So we reordered 7oz.steaks with mashed potatoes they finally arrived at 7:40. We had to rush and eat to get to the concert on time. Then we get our bills and we got a 7oz. steak at $31.95 and were charged $4 extra for the potatoes. I have never been to a restaurant where you only get the steak alone l gave them a second chance but l will never go back there again . I hope Wendel Clark gets better service when he goes out to dinner.

We had a birthday gathering for my husband as a surprise. Very accommodating reserving the raised dining area for over 50 people. Food and drinks all fantastic. And our server, Bella, was phenomenal. She kept the drinks coming and managed to keep us all straight! Thank you for a memorable evening. Well be back!

Amazing wait staff!

Wendel s is hit and miss. It s basically a suburban-style sports bar, that serves as a safe house for people scared to be downtown (but handy for hotel guests). The biggest downside is that they either don t have enough servers on the floor, or they ve been told to not bother the guests for things like refills, the bill, etc. French fries are good if you get them hot, but for some reason they put oil in their edamame (my fave bar snacks). When they play tunes, it s decent classic rock.

Our 1st time there. Took public transit Easy to get to by walking with Google map. Friday night was full house. Open area so noise level is loud and echoes. Ceasar Salad was great. Fish and chips was ok. Fish was cod but batter was dry and thick. Cheesecake was really good ! Service was excellent there! Staff are super friendly and helpful. Washroom very clean. Outdoor patio there for summer. Lots of tvs watch sports. Yuk yuk is in same building as well. Prices are reasonable too. We will go back again!

I really wish that my experience was like my previous experiences at other locations. Im not really going to waste my time typing out my grievences in detail. What I am willing to say is that I was disappointed from the initial phone call making simple inquiries, to the way the patrons were shoveled out the door when the bartender decided it was time for them to go home. Trust me theres more but its not worth my effort. Wendel, wow you were my hockey hero and I hold you in such high regard. Perhaps you may want to consider doing the same for your fans by holding the restaurant bearing your name to a higher standard.

I just couldnt believe it, Im also going to post on my webpage !!!! I ordered a cob salad, first they put the dressing in the sale prior to eating it & I dont like alot of dressing. Lettuce underneath was soggy, Chicken I showed the waitress I tapped on side of plate was dry & hard. So many bacon bits like Costco bacon bites.( Horrible) So my $20 salad 3 out of 10 Jerry ordered wings so over cooked - dry showed the waitress she agreed very over cooked. She didnt bring it out to us so she didnt see this over cooked mess. What was the cook doing outside having a smoke lol joke !! There was only 3 tables eating when we got here not like they were busy. Be back- nope !!! Sorry Wendle I think unless your drinking & not care about the food then your ok.Im sober & gagging

Had a fantastic time. I was very surprised in the quality of food. Beer is cold and the cocktails were very tasty. Very friendly staff. My girlfriend has a big crush on the bartender. Says he looks like a Canadian Jason Sathem

Stood at the door for 15 minutes before a server came to us to tell us they only have two servers in staff and they can t provide us service. Put a sign up or something before wasting hungry peoples time please :)

Weve been to Wendels 3 times prior to this afternoon and all was good. Never an issue. Good food, good service, lovely.... so we decided to go again this afternoon and wow,,,, What the heck happened? We went in and were told to sit wherever. After trying 5 tables, (all dirty) we found a spot. The bar was empty but was littered with dirty glasses and leftovers from previous customers... and it stayed that way thru out our visit. We ordered wings and perogies, no onions. The wings were dried out and old. Like chicken jerky. We asked for Creamy Garlic dip and recieved a cup of melted butter with garlic. When we asked about it theysaid that was the sauce. It wasnt the sauce, weve eaten there before and knew what the sauce was supposed to be . They did take the wings off and redo the perogies but we left hungry. Never again.

In a word... Meh. The restaurant itself is nice, service was friendly, food was average. One thing to remember is that this is a hotel restaurant, so the prices are ridiculously expensive. $16 for 8 small wings (with very little sauce). If youre in Oshawa, there are much better places to go to watch sports; and youll get bigger portions and better pricing.

We were there a couple weeks ago and it was absolutely amazing! Matt took great care of us and made me a delicious drink. The goat cheese and ciabatta loaf was so yummy. Their staff is truly the best.

Parking: To be honest it was a little bit too expensive for our taste

Slow service ( but friendly) Fries were overcooked. Steak had a weird taste not eaten. Tender overbattered. This place is overpriced for very mediocre food. 10/10 would not recommend.

If I can give zero I will. I went into Wendel Clarks in Oshawa. I drove by it a few times on days off and this day off I thought to try Wendel Clarks. I was ripped off. I guess a bartender named Nigel thinks no one pays attention when they come in for a couple beers on a hot day and then say they will buy you a shot to try and not show you your actual bill when you pay which is odd. Is that a usual practice at Wendel Clarks? I am sure Wendel Clark just cares about what he makes off his name. Wendel Clark should be ashamed, or was his just as corrupt and crooked as the staff. I would not go there again and suggest any customer to not believe the bartenders and ensure you get a itemized bill.

service was terrible. the 13 people counting my table. 20 mins before the waiter came over and then waited 40 mins for sandwich with fries. had to go up to the bar several times to get drinks and condiments. food was great

Great service, good cocktails, mediocre food. My husband enjoyed his fish, but fries were limp and luke warm and my chicken wrap was flavorless. Not worth the price and unfortunately wont return.

Cant please the herd it seems, as an individual the experience was great, some of the best food Ive ever had at a restaurant. Have a strong feeling the people complaining about service/prices do this no matter where they end up. Cheers!

Just tried to enter, on Thanksgiving no less, while open, told the bartender or short rude skinhead coward that immediately got into my face that I needed a minute to wait for my friend, was interrupted before I could ask for a drink & told to wait outside Didn t even allow me 5 seconds. Hadn t had one drink all day. Had to call my friend to tell her to cancel this place and do what we can to black list this employee. I know the owner of this bar personally and we are are going to find out whom was working today @4:25pm Thanks, what a joke.

I dont normally write a review but feel compelled to in this case as our treatment at this establishment was not good. We arrived last night for a 615 reservation prior to a concert at 8. We ordered drinks and food. The food had not arrived by 740 and we were told it would be another 15 mins. We had to cancel our food order at that point because we would be late for our concert. I spoke to the manager and she said its too bad we paid for our drink bill already or she could have done something. She said there was miscommunication and did apologize. My feeling was there was NO communication and our treatment was wrong. We went to the concert without dinner that night....horrible.

One of my favourite places to eat, have a few drinks and watch a game! The staff are absolutely amazing and the vibes are incredible. 10/10 you need to go

I had an amazing time celebrating my 19th, the food is awesome I had the crispy dry ribs for an app then the Wendel burger with sweet potato fries they were cooked perfectly, the server I had was amazing. Since new management has taken over the restaurant has never been better.

The food is surprisingly amazing. We had a party of 8 and everything was well taken care of. We were very picky and they accommodated as much as they could to our needs.. yuk yuks is a must. Great show. Had a blast and will definitely be back... 10 more times.

Great food sexy waitresses friendly service

My burger was great, poutine lacked a bit on cheese curds but tolerable. However, my 2 kids ordered the penne Alfredo and the takeout boxes had hardly any pasta in them. My other kid ordered the kids chicken tenders and fries, with hardly any fries. All 3 kids were still starving after their meals, which I have never experienced at any other restaurant. Unexceptable! I will not be ordering takeout or attending this restaurant ever again, too pricey for the low quantity of food.

I stopped into this restaurant not long ago and although Im not sure what I was expecting, I was pleasantly surprised. The venue is bright, spacious and impeccably clean. The service was superior with very friendly staff. The food was fantastic and Im looking forward to going back and ordering the same thing - The Wendel Burger.

Two visits, three weeks apart.... First, near perfect. Second, wait staff and food were great again, but the kitchen was not keeping up. Took over an hour to get our dinner. Will go again. Third time will determine. :)

The tap water is exceptional!

Went here for a nice Saturday night dinner to have some drinks and food and watch UFC Fight and they had one waitress and a bartender working. We sat down she took our drink order and then 20 minutes later we got our drinks and then we ordered food and our food came and it was the one good think the food was cooked well and tasted good but again when I got my food I ordered another drink I finished my whole dinner before my drink came and it was watery and tasted like no alcohol was in it. When we were fed up and wanted to go somewhere else to drink it took us over 15 minutes to get her attention for our bill. No one checked on us well we were eating we couldn t even get salt for the fries. Very disappointed

Came in for lunch with my son, good food and good service. The fries were top notch, too, I didnt ask but i dont think theyre frozen, they taste like real fries. Also my kid remarked on how the bathroom smelled like a pool from being cleaned with bleach I guess, much better than the alternative. Well be back for sure, one of downtowns best spots.

This gem stands out in the middle of Downtown Oshawa. Great food and a very comfortable atmosphere. Takes you straight out of the typical Oshawa Ambience, if you know what I mean.

Lovely staff! Good food! A regular spot we stop at! We always get the Wendell burger after we get apps during happy hour! Good drink specials and the manager is a 10/10!

Honestly I wanted to love this place as my dad is such a huge fan but their menu was pretty misleading...burgers were frozen, the Wendel burger didnt come with sauce, chicken tenders were soggy. The diet coke tasted like Perrier even though the syrup had been changed. The service was ok. Overall it didnt really live up to expectations.

Great people at WC s Oshawa. Rick the GM went above and beyond helping me set up my event. The restaurant is huge, clean, with great natural lighting. Food is fantastic and the pints nice and chill.

Only good thing here was our server . My shephards pie was edible . The fries were like eating salt from a box. I did get a new plate . My boyfriend wasnt impressed with his hunters chicken meal and the nachos were edible that was it. The food was overly pretentious and poorly executed. If they stuck with preparing quality bar food, this place might be successful. They need to take some lessons from the bar down the road, Rileys has it down pat

Amazing service and equally great food. I especially loved their version of Fish and Chips and hand cut fries are always better than the alternative. Beautiful decor, massive TVs. They do a happy hour from 3 to 6 with half price appetizers as well. Can t wait to dine in again.

Got the top shelf crispy chicken sandwich with a poutine, the burger was so huge & so good too. You get the 5 stars because I LOVE whoever took my order ( maybe the bartender) he was so nice so I just had to give you guys a rating!!

The staff are really friendly and approachable, and you can tell that they enjoy working together. I myself have only had a couple drinks but I am not disappointed with what Ive had or the atmosphere. It really seems like a nice place to hang out and watch a game. I will say that the parking situation is pretty confusing: theres free parking in the hotels underground but you have to come up through the hotel and out the hotel then around to the restaurant. This can be problematic if the hotel doors lock up for the night and you need a card to access the lobby to get to the elevator. Maybe clearly marked outside parking would be better for clients to access the restaurant.

Hosted a party with 24 people at Wendel Clark s Oshawa. The food was great, drinks were cold, service was fantastic. I d recommend it to anyone who wants a good time at reasonable prices. Well done!

First time at WC. Definitely not the last. Our waitress/Server was Absolutely Fantastic. Our food was Absolutely Fantastic. Portions were Absolutely Fantastic. We will be back for sure next time we are in town. FYI Top Shelf chicken sandwich is a must. Wow Atmosphere and decorated walls are awesome for all sports fans. If your looking for a great place to take the Family this is the place.

The cauliflower bites appetizer is my absolute favorite! A must have. This location though doesnt participate in the online promo offers from their website, like the special of the day. Was disappointed to hear that. Its definitely worth checking out tho.

Alyssa was great! She was our server 2 nights in a row with our girls hockey team and she is the best server I have seen!! She is personable and remember all of us the second night! I can t say enough about Alyssa!!
