Red Lobster in Oshawa

Everytime the waitress brought biscuits, she brought 3 .. I know they are cutting back, but come on.. Food appeared smaller and waitress wasnt so great!

Glad this place survived because I love the food and atmosphere, everything was great.......right up until I advised the server that the key lime pie tasted...off...and rather than acknowledging it, she decided to argue with me and even go as far as tell me my taste was off....I mean Im all for standing up for things but this woman went off for no reason when I was polite and that is too far. Again, simple fix but was blown out of proportion. Also they bring a dehydrated lime with it that smells bad, so probably just went bad and they claim its dehydrated just to cover the lack of standards. Great dinner, just skip dessert and go next door and get a frosty from Wendys next time.

I have to commend our server named Jennifer. Her service was truly impeccable and comparable to high end restaurants that I have visited in downtown Toronto. I would ONLY come back to this location to be served by her again. Red lobster Oshawa is very lucky to have her.

Unfortunately, the quality of this place has lower and it also has become more expensive. Even the place looks very run down, dusty and a little dirty. Food quality is just regular.

Highlight of my day. Always the best place to eat.

Danica was our server, she was very personable. She was very friendly and made great suggestions for the food. She even sang Happy Birthday to my friend. Jenn was not our server however she was also very polite and friendly. They both had great energy and made the experience really enjoyable.

Service was phenomenal! From reservation with our host and also our server. They were sweet and attentive. We didnt lack for anything! The food was amazing and the portions were big so we were able to take some home.

Absolutely atrocious experience from start to finish. Waitress was friendly but the food was just not up to standard with missing items, no shell crackers for the crab legs (food got cold waiting for them as they were in cue to be washed ), and wine with dishwasher residue in the glass. It was a very subpar dining experience with long wait times and poor food quality.

I brought my mother here for her last birthday a while ago and it was awful. The waitress barely stopped by the table and when she did wed ask her for more biscuits but she seemed to always ignore that request. Well, until she went over to a another table by the front and came over to us with two cold ones that she must have taken off the table of the couple who just left. The food we ordered was bland and didnt seem all that fresh either. The waitress laziness was obvious, especially when I had a Sprite and was constantly given water instead of the Sprite. I had to tell her about over and over and was then treated like I was the annoyance for asking for what I paid for. It was a poor experience and Im incredibly sad that THIS was the last time I ever got to celebrate my mothers birthday with her. Id do anything to go back in time and never give this place my money and if youre considering it, DONT.

Was in the neighbourhood today with my sweet wife and we decided to drop in for lunch. Our server was Dee and you should ask for her if you visit (did an amazing job from start to finish.) The clam chowder (my favourite) was perfect and got better the deeper I got into the cup. The famous rolls were both hot and fresh and were perfect for dipping. My wife had not one but two small Caesar salads that were in her words perfection. (She loved the shave Parmesan cheese and the slight taste of lemon.) She followed it up with Walts favourite shrimps and most came home for a later snack. I had the shrimp linguini and as a side a loaded baked potatoe. The potatoe was excellent and disappeared in an instant. It helped that the skin was both crusty and salted. The linguini portion was large and most came home to be warmed for my dinner. With all the terrible restaurants and shitty service experiences it is comforting that this Red Lobster location has been a beacon of hope. Clean, great service, friendly and great food. What else could you ask for? And please dont forget to ask for Dee, shes fantastic. Returned today for lunch and if anything the food was even better! Started with virgin shrimp Ceasars, stuffed mushrooms and a shrimp cocktail (best Ive ever had) follows by main courses. Perfection! Great Experience Every Time My wife has loved this chain forever. This location is one of the few left running in GTA and is close enough that when my wife wants a visit its easy. Hell, even my grandchildren like going here. Staff is always friendly and more than happy to ensure your visit is a pleasant experience. Restaurant is super clean, staff super attentive and food is consistent and good quality. I do love their chowders. Been there often and will return again without question. Great restaurant, great staff

We went first time in quite a while. We went after 4 pm the staff was so friendly and kind. The food was steaming hot, great presentation, great and tasted amazing. Myself my wife and 3 boys had a great supper together. Our waiter was awesome we will be back.

We hosted a large group for my sons birthday in June and everyone had a great time!! Everything was great, especially the service. Danica and Leah were wonderful!

The biscuits were amazing, I had to ask for seconds! The lobster however was a bit tough and overdone. Overall it was okay, portions are big enough for me.

Thought I would get to Red Lobster before it leaves our shores. Waitress was lovely and attentive but the food was average at best. Quite bland and tasteless.(The Biscuits are still marvelous) I have two lobster tails 1 Maine and 1 Carribean. It was neither disappointing nor inspiring. Came for dinner this evening after a long drive from Montreal, Jenn was the nicest server I have ever had the chance to meet in a very, very long time. Jenn was passionate, kind, caring,.. definitely one of the nicest people I have ever met. Jenn made sure my friends and I had a wonderful experience for our trip from out of town! Food was great as well!

Fathers day dinner and the food just wasnt that good, at least not like before. The waitress was friendly, funny and reasonably quick considering it was busy. If not for the waitress, it would have been a 1 star. The place seems to be going downhill fast

Visited Red Lobster in Oshawa today for our daughter s birthday. Maya was our waitress and she was amazing!!! The food was great and served timely! Maya was very courteous and friendly. She made our evening very pleasant and our daughters absolutely loved her Kudos Maya!!!

Very good atmosphere and great customer service.

We went for a graduation dinner and we were a party of 12 including two babies. The two servers were very nice and accommodating. They informed us about the specials, brought out our food and drinks in a timely manner and they provided stands for our car seats.

The service was excellent. The food was well presented and it tasted as per the expectations.

Wentvro the oshawa location with my daughters and spnin law on a Friday night. My daughter and I had steak and shirmp plates. My other daughter had a pasta dish, and son in law had the 3 shirmp plate. The food was cooked to perfection our rare steak.was cooked perfect. Danica provided excellent service she was super friendly and very attentive to our needs and always happy and smiling. I just hope that red lobster survives here in Ontario. And yes, we will be back again for great food and service Parking: At the weekend I feel parking could be a little bit difficult

Not the same anymore.

I dripped in for a late lunch on Monday. The restaurant wasnt busy, I only counted 2 tables had occupancy. There was no staff at the front desk and on the floor. I had to wait quite sometime before I caught the eye of a staff memeber peeking out of the kitchen. I had to flag them to let them know Ive been waiting to be seated. Other patrons that came in after me waited as well. I ordered my food that took a while to come, pasta was cold and was way undercooked and garlic shrimp was charred. I got the Monday special and my server although she was pleasant was overwhelmed as she was the only server on the floor i saw. It took forever for my other dishes to come and i decided it was not worth waiting long periods of time to be served. I had enough and left. Better needs to be done. Patrons were commenting that the service here is bad and food not the greatest. If the other location wasnt that far I would have gone there instead!

I recently dined at Red Lobster for the first time, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening out. The food was top-notch. From the fresh, buttery lobster to the perfectly seasoned shrimp, every dish was a delight to the senses. However, what truly set this visit apart was the outstanding service we received from our server, Jennifer. She was nothing short of amazing. Jennifer was incredibly attentive, making sure our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed. At one point, I mentioned I was having trouble opening a crab leg, and she graciously took the time to demonstrate the best technique, ensuring I could fully enjoy my meal. In addition to her helpfulness, Jennifer was also wonderfully funny and witty. Her cheerful banter and quick humor added a delightful touch to our dining experience, making us feel truly valued as guests. Her deep knowledge of the menu, combined with her friendly and professional demeanor, made our evening unforgettable. Overall, my first visit to Red Lobster was one of the best dining experiences I ve had in a long time. This location is regularly visited. Tonight we tried different things than usual. Points for incorporating the tamale into the stuffing as requested. The lobster was far too overcooked, otherwise everything was good and the service exceptional.

Our fav restaurant!

We were there yesterday for our Anniversary but also the Tuesday crab special. We did not get the traditional biscuits at first instead they came when our appetizer came. When we received our crab legs and side dish our green beans were cold. The crab legs were just mediocre and trying to get to the meat inside was difficult. Before you would crack it open and the meat would just slide out. I found that I was always digging at it to even get a decent amount out. Some of the crab legs were cold. I tried to get the attention of our server but the table across from us the server had spilled drinks all over them and was too busy cleaning up, so we just continued with our mediocre meal. It was a disappointing experience considering the last time we were there it was quite good.

Came in for the endless shrimp and I was not disappointed. From the moment we stepped in we were greeted by the sweetest hostess who paired us with an amazing server. Mya was 10/10, had the laughs and shrimps coming. Her hospitality definitely makes me want to come back again, from the ease of conversation to the attentiveness of getting me more water before I could even ask for it. Thank you all for the great dinner!

Nice atmosphere has been a long time since I ate a Red Lobster. Food and drinks were more expensive than before woth less food and less alcohol.

Cant write down a reservation. No big deal. Doesnt even tell us that they missed the reservation, just overheard her, tell her co-worker, doesnt apologize, cant tell us the wait time after asking twice, seats people infront of us. Make a complaint, lady gives me a call to then blame me and still not apologize cool. The Pho place next door is pretty good.

I came here with my boyfriend for a casual dinner and the waitress was nice as first. She did not give us water (we had to remind her at the end of meal) but when I had addressed my concerns with the quantity of lobster that was in my pasta (it was just a tea spoon amount) she did not even apologize and said thats how they measure it. I find it pretty ridiculous considering the dish was around $35.00. Near the end when we were about to pay for the bill, she did not ask us prior to how we wanted to pay, so we had asked if she can split the bill and she seemed irritated. Overall, not impressed with this location. Luckily this was just a casual dinner but I would never come back for a special occasion.

Food was excellent

Was there for my birthday dinner 7 of us and i ordered the 2 tails and shrimp linguine for like 60 bucks first one tail was super over cooked and chewy, I asked the manager for a new one and she brought it in like 3 minutes. I took one bite and noticed the texture of the tail it was still raw! They gave me another again and finally got it right. Was the last to eat my food on my birthday super disappointed. Not even a discount on the dish. Don t think we will returning again and I love lobster so very disappointing.

If you love salty food, this is probably the best place to go.

Ive been to many Red Lobsters in my day, but none have wowed me like the Oshawa location. The food was as delicious as always, but the service that we received is what really made this dinner experience enjoyable. The waitress we had was phenomenal and very alert to our needs. They accommodated us with our baby, by quickly finding a suitable place for us to sit. But most of all they made us feel welcome. I highly recommend this location for any lover of Red lobster.

They did not bring any biscuit to start. When our appetizers arrived they did not provide side plates. We asked for some and the waitress grabbed two dirty ones and gave it to us and disappeared. I took these to the front and asked for clean ones. No one ever came back for another 10 min. Will not recommend you go here. Oshawa has a bad reputation and places like this only support that rep.

Don t go on Friday 7 pm , wast your time as you have to wait 30 -45 minutes

Sincerely am disappointed with the order and resent it. My order was cold when it arrived. The crab was off tasting an and the portion does not equate to any of the items. This place truly was a gem a long time ago and now has lost its touch. Boston pizza is by far more affordable and better seasoned and quality tasting. I mentioned to ubereats the meal was concerning with the taste and cold and so far there is no interest to help customer satisfaction. If I wasn t pregnant and so curious to try out the quality after years of not having it. I wouldn t have made this purchase.

Best seafood restaurant

Went to red lobster for lunch with my mom. And the waitress was rude. We went at 2:45pm on a Monday.

We always enjoyed our meal at the Red Lobster.

We had shrimp linguini Alfredo and Walts favorite shrimp, I got the Brussel sprouts, which were delicious. We will definitely miss Red Lobster if they ever close down.

Tonight was excellent. Our server cheryl was amazing. Our food selections were very tasty.

Other than the fact that prices have skyrocketed everywhere, its still really good.

Absolutely predatory serving practices. I was sitting with my grandfather and he wanted to pay. When the waitress brought the bill he asked her to submit 15% for a tip. She declined saying 18% is the minimum the machine goes not explaining he could enter a custom amount. The clearest form of elder abuse I have ever experienced first hand. Do not support this business and its disgusting predatory practices.

We have not been to this location for some time. Im so glad we did! The experience was wonderful. The escargot was sooo good. All four meals at our table were hot ,good portions and very appealing. Service was excellent and attentive.we will be back.

I was at your location and my favourite bartender was missing and no longer serving! Service is just not the same with out her cheerful personality. I will not return or recommend this location. Vegetarian options: Very limited options!

Found it very expensive

Was not very impressed on our last visit with the service as on previous occasions. Food was not bad. However on the service side I was very disappointed. Wait time for food was long. Also lady serving our table did not even bother to ask whether we were there for any special occasion though we overheard her asking at other tables. It was my sons birthday. We have known better customer service there with previous staff members who were more amiable, welcoming and showed no discrimination..

Staff where great!, been awhile since we have been at red lobster, food was good, little pricey, over all great experience. Oh yeah! The place was packed!, thats a good sign.

The serving staff was friendly but slow . It wasnt real busy but she kept disappearing for long stretch of time . Two girls brought all 4 of our suppers out at once without having cleared off any of our dirty plates from the appetizers, it was a bit awkward . The mussels tasted fishy ( not fresh ) . I had surf n turf , the lobster was delicious but the steak was possibly the worst steak Ive ever had at a restaurant. Although it was cooked perfectly it was so tough and chewy , it was horrible!!

Disappointed in food this time

Had the Cajun Chicken Alfredo, easily a 10/10. Service was great as well, didnt even have to ask for a refill, the waitress just brought me a new drink whenever she saw mine was empty. Not only was the food a 10, the service was, too. Truly incredible.

Love the place ordered the calamari came out perfectly fried, biscuits were nice and fresh, for the main meal we ordered the make your own platter the lobster tails came perfect shrimp and pasta was well done. Definitely will come back again.

What a great surprise , my wife and I hadn t been to red lobster in over a decade, I was concerned with how packed the parking lot was, but we had reserved a table w friends for 6, Can I say it was one of the best experiences we ve had in a long time, we dine out at least once a week and I have no problem paying for good food and service, red lobster oshawa did not disappoint! Our server Maya was attentive and genuine , food was fresh and served in good time, We will definitely be back,!!! Hats off to red lobster Oshawa, you guys know how to do it propper! Thank you!

I should have gotten the girls name who served us. She was wonderful. The food was great. The price is good and I like that they serve biscuits, on the house. The only negative thing I could think of is the atmosphere and interior design. It looks dated. Otherwise, this restaurant is highly recommended.

Red Lobster will always be a favourite because of the service standards and the food standards that are kept high. Delicious deserts as well and added tasty coffee to cap it. The fish was so salty that i could hardly eat it.I dont like to complain but i think this is the last time ever go back to red lobster oshawa.

I ordered the endless shrimp as advertised. It did not disappoint. After the third round of serving, I was stuffed. The garlic shrimp in herb and butter is my absolute favorite. The service was excellent. I cant wait to go back again.

Food is usually very good but pricy. Ultimate freat now $54!!! Wow been awhile since i at there. Service is usually friendly and efficient but at times slow or things get added to bill. If you want seafood there really isnt too many choices in Oshawa.
