1320 Simcoe St N, Oshawa, ON L1G 4X4, Canada
It was my first time eating there. I ordered a Pho rice noodle. The soup base tastes unflavorful and plain. Compared to other genuine Vietnamese restaurant this soup base lacks a certain herbs and the broth is too diluted to be called a broth. It's a beef slice is too thin, choppy and is texture it feels like as if it has hardened due to a lack of freshness. I don't think I will go there again if I were to visit Oshawa again.
We order from here a few times. Before today, we had nothing but positive experiences. I was eating the hue style noodles and I felt something in my mouth. I thought it could have been a spice so I spat it out. To my surprise it looked like those fake press on nails? It felt like that too. My mom makes bun bo hue a lot and there is no ingredients in a traditional bun bo hue that would look… like that. I don’t know what it was in my soup but I lost my appetite after seeing it. I won’t be ordering from here again.
The customer service here was good. We were greeted and seated quickly. We asked for hot sauce, chilli oil, extra lime and they gave it all quickly. No fuss at all. The atmosphere was ok and clean. However the food was not good. We ordered two pho bowls and a rice with short ribs for the kids. The soup lacked flavor, thus we needed hot sauce, I added soya sauce and chill oil. The noodles were broken making it hard to eat, and there was barely any meat. I ordered the shrimp and rare beef pho and there was three shrimps. And I ordered the medium size. My husband ordered the x-large and his bowl barely had any beef as well. Our regular pho place of choice is Pho Sam but it was closed today so we thought we’d give this place a try. I’m providing this feedback so you guys can improve.
Ordered soup and did not get a spoon. Meanwhile I requested cutlery for 2. Beef pad Thai had 99% noodle and very thin sliced beef. Thin like hotel bacon. Almost see through. Seemed to taste like siracha sauce was mixed in. Very disappointing. Will never order from here again.
I’ll share my experience because it was weird enough to write a review. When you enter, there’s a musty smell which is why we should have left but I thought it would look rude and sat . You get a file which holds the printed menu items. My husband and I decided to check the google reviews because there is quite a few options. The reviews weren’t too positive and as we experienced after, were definitely right about the portion of meat. I ordered the vermicelli - flavour wise it was decent and I was hungry. Then I saw those shrimp with the poop - was a turn off. I shared with the waitress and she’s reluctant to make the changes and was like “people have it like that, if people want it without , they have to request it”. My husband was like “people want it with shrimp poop?” She awkwardly laughed and was like I’ll get you new ones. She went across the room and loudly shared again pointing at me “I’ll get you new ones” with other diners around. The 2 stars for the food is to acknowledge getting 3 new shrimps 😂The food was subpar, place felt unclean, and then that weird customer service on top. Save your money. This place is not worth it. Mind you, I love my street side food and can temper my expectations accordingly to the place but this was a dine in and nothing matched up. Food, ambiance and service was not it.
The only thing that’s nice about this restaurant is the ambiance. The lady manager had a horrible attitude! She got upset with my friend and her employee for putting her pho into the wrong takeout box. First of all, it wasn’t the waitress’ fault. We should’ve asked for the right container. Not only was she disrespectful towards us, but towards her own employee. Anyways, the pho is mediocre and broth is not rich in flavor at all. I’m not sure where all the reviews saying the broth is good are coming from. Maybe I got a bad batch. Each bowl only has a few pieces of meat compared to other pho restaurants. Overall I would not come here again.
We’ve gone back a few times now, and have enjoyed the food every time. Spring rolls, pho, bun, curry, and we also have ordered from the Greek menu with spanikopita and wings. No edits on my photos - it’s as colourful and delicious as you see here. Staff are friendly and it’s a quiet restaurant. Atmosphere is Greek which is a bit of a laugh when you are there, so could do with some refreshing but it doesn’t impact the pleasant experience you’ll have when you go.
Dined in, although I don't think this will be possible in the coming weeks with lockdown. Hope this resto survives because the food is tasty and the service is great - really friendly. I get the feeling they appreciate the business. Not going to say this is the best Vietnamese food I've had but I will definitely come back. Food is made to order and I left completely stuffed.
Poor quality noodles mess up the whole soup. Tiniest pieces of beef. Cheap from the chopsticks to the ambiance.
I ordered take-out. The soup was just warm, not hot.
Really great Vietnamese spot in Oshawa. The spring rolls were so good that we ordered another set mid meal. Really happy this is nearby.
The best Pho, the food was delicious, I just would like to eat on the area open, but I really recommend this restaurant
Excellent service, good price and very appetizing dishes.
Pretty good
Delicious Pho, super fast and friendly service
Hello guys I really recommend that if you are an Uber driver please do not accept an order from this restaurant because the waitress there working is really rude and ridiculous because when I went inside to pick up my order, she told me to wait on a side for my order before even looking what my order is and after waiting for around 5 min, I saw that my order is lying inside the counter so I told her to just give me that bag of my order but again she replied me to wait by stating please and thank you again without looking at my order number. So again I politely asked her to give me my order as I was getting late and my order was sitting there ready in front of me. Then she started behaving rudely as she is the one who is paying me or like I am an employee working in their restaurant. So for this reason I would say that please don t visit these place or do not accept the order from this restaurant because the staff of this restaurant does not respect the food delivery persons coming into their store to pick up an order.
Spring rolls are amazing. Great good great value
Food wasnt that great it was ok . I didnt have my glass girl tried to add $7 into the bill
Easy relaxed viet cuisine. Yummy food and Reasonable prices. We will be back. Thank you Kat
The Bahn Mi here is amazing!! The staff are wonderful and attentive. Our favourite Vietnamese spot in the area.
Great food. Hosts are very nice and helpful. Would recommend to a friend.
Food
Big Portions for pho soup, recommend dining in vs. takeout, nice small place
Staffs are very friendly and always bring a notebook with a pen for me & my friends who s also deaf. Perfectly accessible. Pho soups are delicious and affordable.
Hard to find small family run restaurants like this these days, so I always appreciate them.
my wife and I order food here almost every week for takeout. Very good quality and quantity. The price is also reasonable.
My family first arrived in Oshawa in 1968 and there was exactly one Asian restaurant in Durham. A lot has changed for the better and there s lots of food options from many ethnicities. But it s still rare to find legit, satisfying fare. So, having received delivery, take out & dined in at Vietnamese Pho for years, I m surprised their ratings are misleadingly low. I find their food is consistently fresh, well prepared & very satisfying for great prices. Besides, the common pho, I would extol the bun vermicelli & variety of rolls. There s peanut butter sauce but also suggest the fish sauce into which you can add sriracha. I highly recommend the crepes banh xue - it s uncommonly good. And try the banh mi sandwiches or even the Greek gyros (long story why they have Greek items LOL but it s so Canadian ) and it s all delicious. It s all like home cooking if your grandma was from Vietnam.
Parking: Parking is easy. Food
Unable to give you any details of this restaurant. The woman refused entry to my service dog saying she did not agree with the Canadian governments rules. They do not allow any service animals in the building. Will be calling bylaw in the morning to have them address the law. Animals in our country save lives. Thank you for the inconvenience I drove an hour to come to your restaurant this evening. I hope they enjoy finding out the laws in this country.
Vegetarian options: Had an entire section in the menu dedicated to their vegetarian options Food
GTA pho better. Below average.
What a great place for soup! My favorite place! Highly recommend Food
Quick service and tasty also quantity is huge
I ordered on Uber Eats and I ordered the large. I ve had much better quality Pho elsewhere that is more abundant in toppings. I ve ordered a large in other places that could feed two people. The broth lacked flavour and it was so watery. When I ordered here a year ago the broth tasted like Pho broth should taste like (deep bone broth flavour, warm spices like anise and cinnamon, salty and a little sour) but it was super watery and lacked flavour. I didn t taste any of the aromatics which is what makes Pho so delicious. Also the pork in the fresh salad roll tasted so off, like they used old freezer burnt pork, which ruined the whole roll. I made my own peanut sauce too because the one they provided tasted off and very old. The chicken wings were completely unseasoned and very small. Beef balls were cut into pieces to make it seem more abundant, but it was clear they were skimping on the ingredients. The freshest thing was the Thai basil and bean sprouts. I wouldn t order here again because I feel like the price doesn t match the overall quality and taste of the food.
Tumyum pho beef and shrimp Vermicelli, noodles with fried shrimp
My fav spot to eat
If you re looking to order Vietnamese food, look no further and press the back button RIGHT now. Worst Avocado smoothie I ever had in my life, wasn t even green or taste like avocado. The beef brisket soup was ligaments and scraps - 0 meat. Expensive and disappointing. Shame.
Fast, efficient and good portion
Noodle soup are delicious.
Cute vibes, always a comforting place to grab a quick meal
Unprofessional communication and poor interpersonal skills of lady at the front.
Delicious shrimp curry and phos. Great choice of music! We will be back for sure.
STAY AWAY!! Ordered XL pho soup for $15 and the only thing that XL is the bowl. The meat is cut into penny size. Only got few tiny strains of tripe. Everything else is broth and noodle. Brought it to the manager s attention and she asked me to order it extra side of meat and told me the bowl is big already. I don t know if she understood or just played dumb, but people pay for XL for more food and not more broth and noodle. I also found a piece of metallic strain in the broth. See the pictures and you will see. There are many other pho restaurants that will give you better quality and quantity of food. You have been warned.
Its been a while since Ive had raw beef pho. Im not used to pho takeout but it was nicely done. The food was good and the service fast and courteous.
R.06 Special Rice for $20 is a complete waste of money and it tastes gross. I ordered from here for the first time and it will be my last. We also ordered two orders of Pho paid extra for rare beef and it wasn t included. Very disappointing.
The staff are amazing and the food is great!
We order here regularly. Average compared to other places. However, recently they ve been very inconsistent with pho bean sprouts, becoming less amount so I always order for extra. Today was disappointing as they claimed they were very busy and misunderstood but I specifically asked twice for extra. My husband asked when he picked up again and stated it was in the bag which there were none. She said claimed he did not ask for the extra. As a regular, we know how to ask. Food is okay, just have to make sure you check your pickup order before you leave.
Dont come here to eat, the service is so bad , Im Vietnamese, this is Vietnamese Restaurant but I dont care. I advise people not to come here. price is not transparent, i and will never go back
$16.99 for 9pieces small fried calamari
Went there for the first time and its now one of my favourite restaurants!! The deep fried spring rolls were so crunchy and flavourful and I also really enjoyed the banh mi. I also ordered the grilled chicken pho and the broth was so good! I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves pho/Vietnamese food or wants to try it for the first time.
Incredibly disrespectful to slap a name on a greek previous restaurant and add a name to something that doesn t even correlate to the culture. Will never be going there
Horrible horrible horrible meat portions. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves for giving one piece of meat with my pho order. Absolutely horrendous do not waste your time eating here. Shady restaurant basically robbing you.
We went for basketball tournament , and go randomly to this restaurant, which was on our way. Food was delicious , very tasty and fresh.Big portions. Next day we went to dinne in as well. Will recommend this restaurant to everyone. My kids love it.100%
The big smiles of the waitresses are always a bonus. I might have previously mentioned that there are still some Greek food items on the last pages(s) of the menu, which I think is a cool/cute tribute to the previous owners.
A certain female server has a bad attitude
Ugly food... The lady at the counter was very rude. I have found an ant in their soup...They told me i could do whatever i like.
The dirtiest restaurant i have ever been. The waiter lady was very rude and doesn t know english very well. I got diarrhoea after eating there
If I could give 0 stars I would, ordered the pho with 3 meats and only got 1. Then when asked she said there s plenty and that for sure I was wrong - incredibly rude service and do yourself a favour, don t come here. The cheapest and smallest portions I ve ever seen!
Got the beef and seafood pho which was fantastic. Friendly service and great atmosphere. We will return regularly Parking: Easy to turn into and lots of lots of space
Favourite place to order pho in Oshawa :)
Good PHO. Casual atmosphere. Seems to attract the younger generation.
Good food
Terrible food. Made me sick to my stomach
Ordered from Uber Eats many times, and this is my first time writing a review. There is no other Vietnamese restaurants on the app so this is my only choice when Im craving Pho. I honestly didnt want to write this, but I cant stand it anymore. The portion for the meat is getting more and more ridiculous. I got the Pho Special and it had half a beef ball, not even giving you the courtesy of a full one. Despite of the meat portion, the soup is bland compared to authentic Vietnamese restaurants I have been to in Ontario. If anyone reading this and looking for authentic Pho then this not the place for you. This is catered toward folks living in Oshawa that havent tried authentic Vietnamese food. My wife and I know how to make authentic Pho at home so we know how it is supposed to taste like. Definitely not this.
Because its a mom and Pop shop Ill give it a 4. Overall the food lacks flavor. And the portions are little to none. I found it funny that they had a Greek menu on the back tho.
Love the food and service, I saw a lot of bad reviews but like I don t think you should order Pho delivered!! And yeah sure, the meat is not the whole plate but I enjoyed the taste anyways it s a cute place!
The store and service was amazing but i cannot understand why they use so much cinnamon in the broth, it almost tastes like French toast and throws off the whole taste of the dish. I am not talking about a specialty broth either, just a normal basic bowl of pho. Now lastly , the portion of meat they give you. Extremely embarrassing. $20 + tax for a bowl of cinnamon water with maybe 40 grams of meat. I don t know about you but rice noodles are some of the cheapest things you can buy please Chill out on the cinnamon and give people what they pay for!!! As for now, i will not be returning as it turned me off
Totally underwhelming
In my opinion- the best pho in the gta. Extremely underrated
One of my favourite restaurants. Staffs are very friendly and always bring a notebook with a pen for me & my friends who s also deaf. Perfectly accessible. Pho soups are delicious and affordable. If I could, I d give 10 stars.
As a vietnamese, i am sorry if you come here to eat Pho. This is the worst place to have our traditional Vietnamese food
My first time, food was yummy. Cute little place. Definitely coming back Vegetarian options: Its on the menu.. I like my meat so I cant tell you anything about it.. I skipped that part Food : 5/5 |
Love this place! Food is great, and the staff are very friendly. Order from here very often, and always pleased with their food and service. Just be prepared to pay either cash or debit, sicne there is a service fee for credit cards.
Just like other reviews have said food quality is bad and service is bad. We went for dinner and my kids ordered drinks. Both their drivks tasted funny so we checked the bottle for expiry date and they were both way past expiry date. When we showed the lady, she was arguing with us and saying it s fine. Finally she went and grabbed them new drinks. Food is meh. Way better options available in Durham region. Meat portion is very small. Will not be returning and do not recommend.
Overall food was awesome
Hole in the wall restaurant without good food or friendly service
Of all the Pho restaurants weve eaten at, my son like the texture of the noodles here the best. There are a few closer ones to where we live, but he always wants to come here.
Pho was watery. The Sriracha sauce was watered down, literally watery and mild, bland even. I asked for rare beef and beef shank. There was tripe in it. I dont like tripe thats why I didnt ask for it! My deep fried spring roll was over cooked.
The place is clean. But the balance between meat and the rest of soup is insane. So I ordered One medium-size soup bowl ..with 4- 5 tiny cut pieces of meat a bit of flank and a pair of meat balls which were cut as well for some reason.. One more thing, OF COURSE they offer more meat for extra money! The Same portion of soup in Pho place located in Richmond Hill intersection Yong & Weldrtick is offered for same price but has triple quantity of meat comparing to this one place !
Great food, fast service friendly staff, good value and portions
I just love this restaurant. Amazing customer service food was fresh and delicious . I got the seafood soup omg , u must try and I cant wait to visit this place again. Thanks ladies
I dont understand these reviews. Ive eaten here thrice in two weeks and its excellent.
Yummy yummy yummy food soooo good. Soup was amazing spring rolls were to die for.
I order from here quite often and I m never disappointed. I get grilled chicken Pho medium, and that is more than enough. 15/10 definitely highly recommend trying that by the way!
The pho is suprising great here. The decor could use an update. I still feel like Im a teenager eating at taco bell.
This is a good place in Oshawa if your looking for Vietnamese food , friendly staff . Nothing fancy I think it was a Greek restaurant before but these guys took it over and did a nice job .
Good service friendly staff noodle soup is great but very little meat in comparison to other pho i have had. A little disappointed
Came here for the first time it was delicious!
Highly recommend their pho!
First time trying vietnamese food and i was not disappointed! Fresh & delicious! The staff was very nice and the food was made super quickly
For a Vietnamese restaurant that also serves Greek food inside a Greek motif restaurant it was Surprisingly good. Great service too. Food came quick. Broth tasted great. They also have an llbo which is a great option.
Had the rare beef and grilled pork pho soups. Came out hot and delicious. Also had the fresh spring rolls which were served with a great peanut sauce. Excellent service also!
Not enough meat in the pho.
The service and food were absolutley amazing! This is now my new spot.
Great friendly service! Yummy!
I placed an order through UberEats from here today after speaking to the lovely lady who answered a few questioned I had about the menu over the phone. She was very kind and gave great suggestions. I took her advise and got the grilled chicken pho and spring rolls and it was all delicious! The grilled chicken was sooo flavourful and the spring rolls where perfectly crispy! Will definitely order from here again! Thank you
love it...hot and fresh...quick. only one open late enough
Good Pho noodles soup and good vermicelli noodles meal. They are also careful with nut allergies.
Always love their sandwiches! Couldn t find another place in Durham that does them and I m so glad I found them!
The worst ever
I love this place! The beef stir fry is absolutely delicious. The portions are ginormous.
Love the pho here. It s so good. I went to the new Chinese lucky supermarket in Oshawa to buy the stuffs to make it and it s not easy at all. :(
The fried squid rings are pitiful for 15.99 per serving. Wont go again
Food was awesome, 10/10 will go back. Celiac friend was with me needed to get something gluten free, waitress was super helpful and kind.
Awesome Vietnamese food in the area. I always get the lemongrass beef spicy on rice and it always hits the spot. My daughter loved the grilled chicken banh mi. This is a regular takeout spot for us but today we decided to dine in and it was quiet. Definitely needs a restaurant makeover but it was clean.
Restaurant is clean. Broth is perfect. Was packaged nicely for takeaway. Tasted great assembled at home! Fried Spring rolls were good too. Finally found a great pho place in Durham.
The pho is happiness in a bowl.
Interesting Vietnamese restaurant located in a Greek style building. Tried pho (signature beef noodle soup) and grilled meat with noodle. Both are okay, not the best, but I m happy to taste Vietnamese food in Oshawa.
Went for some pho noodles with a friend... Yum!
Good place and European interior. The Shrimp rolls were delicious.
Good pho, friendly service
Very fresh tasting Pho!
Yummy Pho. Large selection on menu
Not a good restaurant at all, food got no taste at all no t good what so ever. And price is way to expensive. I have never been to a Vietnamese restaurant that is very awful taste. They don t know how to cook! I have never written any comment about restaurant, my first time very very disappointed!
Delight to be here. Range if dishes is superb, also includes Thai delicacies. Seating can be a bit better. But overall quality is amazing. Ample parking.
Probably one of the worst takeout places I have ate at. I ordered chicken souvlaki and beef fried rice. Both dishes were completely bland and tasteless and souvlaki fries were soggy. For $18 souvlaki plate I expected a decent meal. Never returning again!
Good service and food
This is our go to pho place when visiting four son at university. Service is wonderful, very friendly and food is delicious! We have been a few times over the last couple years and are never disappointed.
Authentic front to kitchen. The flavours are there and its very flavourful. Pho broth has all the spices, unami and complexity that you expect from a really good pho broth. Presentation could use a bit more improvement. Pho could use more than just noodles, broth, and a few strands of floating onions. Too much broth and too little meat. Other than that its a great place for authentic Vietnamese cuisine made by Vietnamese chefs. Try the Vietnamese savory crepes (banh xeo). Take a little bit of crepe, wrap it in a piece of lettuce, dip it in the sauce, and voila - deliciousness.
Ordered food today and it wasn t ready when I arrived, even after 20 minutes after the time. Customer service was awful. Had a bad experience, the girl was rude and felt like placing order here was a mistake. Not coming back!!
Really delicious pho! Will come again.
Great service
Tasty and authentic food. Pleasant staff
Everything else is good but DO NOT ORDER THE SQUID. This portion is definitely not worth $17.
Worst place to visit
Great ambience, friendly staff. A little expensive compared to other Pho restaurants, food was ok.
Whenever Im in Oshawa for work, I always order from this Pho place, I love their soup. And I love that girls smile so much.
Its cold out, were in lockdown... Sometimes, you just want a bit of soup to soothe the soul. I ordered delivery, everything was packed neatly and separately. The pho I ordered was delicious with a bit of a kick. I ordered the medium and it was huuuuge, but Im not complaining! Seems fresh and well prepared. I would definitely order again.
Loved it
Just ordered four soups. The pho was terrible, no flavour to the broth, tasted just like water, hardly no veg. I dont understand how people give this place a good review. Ill never order from them again. What a disappointment. What a waste of 60 dollars. These types of places should really close there doors. Especially when you really have good restaurants, trying to stay open.
(covid-19 Caused this to be a delivery order) I was in the mood for something refreshing for breakfast this morning and found this place on Uber Eats. I ordered the R1. Special and HOLLLY SH*T how do people sleep on Vietnamese places for breakfast foods?!?!!? Everything in my order was prepared perfectly, the eggs were over medium (perfect for this kind of dish) and all the meat practically fell apart before my fork could touch it. Everything here just screamed welcome to flavortown on top of already being very filling. I got what should have been a $25 breakfast for for $14 so even with delivery costs it did not cost a ton. Not only will I be ordering from this place again in the future but I expect I will be coming in person when the lockdowns and and allow them to reopen. 6/5 stars
Great Pho very refreshing, plus a multitude of other great dishes. Great service plus they have some gluten free options by special request.
New Pho spot, super delicious!
Pretty good, Ive had better but there isnt much pho in durham so I would reccoemnd the Pho
Good taste but poor bang for buck. On my third visit recently, noticed 4 slivers of soft beef tendon in the soup. On pointing this out was told that this is all they could do for the price which I found highly disappointing as I eat the same soup at my Toronto favourite pho place where is pretty loaded. This forced me to downgrade my earlier review for this place and perhaps cease to order from here going forward.
We always get the rare beef pho and pick up. Always fresh and never disappointed.
Friendly, clean and yummy.
Ive ordered here many times, and always get very excellent friendly service, and excellent food. This is the best pho in Durham, I have tried them all.
Food was lacking flavour and seasoning. Ordered pad thai and beef and shrimp vermicelli. Pad Thai was bland and beef in vermicelli was very salty.
Food was terrible ...after the Pandemic...the food quality is going down hill Very disappointed....i got a very bad tummy hurt after i ate their food on yesterday !
Extremely rude staff.
The girl who worked at front desk .... very very rude .. I don t know why??? May she doesn t like to work here or may be she doesn t like customers because they give business to them in this difficult time .. they wants to just sit and watch tv ..
This is one of my favourite places to get take-out. I love the grilled chicken or beef plus spring roll vermicelli (rice noodles; perfect for those seeking gluten-free choices), and have tried several of the bánh mì (sandwiches) as well. Ive found the ph tái to be delicious and very filling. My son is the one who picks up the orders, and he said the service has been very pleasant. Thank you, Vietnamese Pho!
Amazing pho! Easily accommodated my gluten free needs and the bone broth was so tasty and delicious! First time customers, we will definitely be back. The peach milk tea was fantastic!
Tasty food and friendly staff but wish they would give more herbs and veggies with the pho!
Pleasantly impressed with the Pho, especially for Oshawa, very glad they opened. Soup was awesome and full of flavour, I asked for no onions and got exactly what I wanted. Would definitely come back with the family.
Food is very good and lovely amounts for the price. Ready quickly and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Currently they have takeout menus at a table inside the door along with notepads. You make your choices, now the corresponding number on the pad, and give it to the cashier (The menus online are just very bad photos and impossible to read) And villa you have supper Enjoy your day my friend
Place serves awesome Pho, fresh and fried spring rolls.Had to come back after 2 weeks apart just because of their soup.Ample parking as well.Great service, prompt and friendly
Didnt get the right rice noodles with my soup.. when I mentioned it to the server she got very loud and rude... after that she went back in the kitchen and argued with the chef for about 5 min straight... not going back again. ..
Amazing staff and food here!! Must check it out!! I am from dt Toronto and this was a tough find but no regrets!! I will be back again and again!!
nice pho with good service
Nice place, come here a lot for take out or dine in. Love their spring roll and fried wonton.
How does this place have 4 stars??? Service aweful , food was dreadful and the price was not good , meals were all just filler so your not getting your value on spect tons of rice/noodles veg , no meat . me and my buddy ordered a bowl of soup each, spring rolls and a beer , 75$ ???? What a joke .
Great food. Their goi cuon tom and taro milk tea were excellent. Great service too.
This is the third time here. We dine in for three. We ordered 2 noodles and 1 appetizer. There was no receipt. After leaving the restaurant, we noticed the price may be wrong and called back. At the beginning, the owner insist the bill was correct and we asked for the breakdown. Then, she said there was $5 charge for sharing the food. It is not a good practice to do business like this. I will never go again!
Great customer service! The best Vietnamese restaurant in Oshawa! Easy to find on Simcoe street with big sign PHO . Thank you for all staffs.
Its delicious and the decoration of the restaurant is very special!
Probably one of the best broth in the area. Service is good. Price is reasonable.
Great customer service- extremely polite and attentive to your needs Pho - broth is on point but the noodle and meat portion is small, regardless of the size you buy. Three times I bought a XL pho special and it was laughable at the amount of noodles/meat/toppings they gave me. Pricing - fair Washroom- paper towels were out but overall clean Overall it s an mediocre pho/Greek restaurant. It Pales to comparison to Toronto/Scarborough pho spots. I will try other pho locations closer to downtown Oshawa.
Enjoyable comfy experience, staff was very nice although the food was a little expensive for its size.
Very unprofessional staff
Went here for lunch. Was very pleased with the pho. Decent enough deep fried rolls. And the server was a very pleasant woman. I wouldve gave this place 4-5 stars. However, I also ordered 2 sandwiches to go. Tried to cut the sandwich in half to snack on when I met resistance. Yes resistance due to the fact that there were 2 skewers hidden in the sandwich!!! To quote other reviewers, if I could give this place 0 stars I would definitely would have. Be warned please check your food if you decide to go. If they put that in their sandwiches who knows what else they put in the rest of the food. And no, I was not rude to think I may have deserved this. As I mentioned earlier the waitress was very very nice so there is no reason to be any other way but to be pleasant back. I even left a generous tip. Shouldnt have. Never goin back.
I come here just about every weekend for my very favorite meals. I always order the A03 and the V09 which i highly recommend. The service is super friendly and always polite here. Very highly recommend all the food and ambiance.
Omg.. their spring rolls are on point! Had both the hot and cold one. Hot one was so crispy on the outside and hearty on the inside! The cold one was so soft and veggies inside were very fresh. Their pho is also very good and making my own pho is a brilliant idea. Ill probably keep coming back for their spring rolls. Also the staff are attentive and accommodating...
Great staff, very cozy atmosphere. If you are new to this cuisine they will explain and tell you exactly what and how it s done. Amazing variety of broth and quality of pho!
Just tip for your food delivery: the pho soup is not hot enough to cook the meat, so please DON T sell rare meat for food delivery!
Absolutely excellent. Surpassed my expectations, amazing viet coffee as well, a must have!
Best pho place in Oshawa right now. Very friendly staff and very quick just how I like it!
Really love the owners and the food. Vietnamese Pho. Reasonable cost too
We love coming here! The food is always delicious and the customer service is nothing but amazing. Its our go to spot in Oshawa and we make sure to always swing by when we get a chance. Definitely try it out you wont regret it!
Omg the Bahn Mi is so damn good!
Great food.
Very nice and comfortable service @ dine-in restaurant. The most clean and tidy that you cant agree more in GTA. Their perfect beef broth and Vietnamese white coffee are MUST try!!!!!
Family owned and very tasty best Pho so far outside of Toronto that I have had. Well done. Could use more meat in the dish for an XL size.
Pho was not tasty but the spring rolls were the best iv ever had.
Happy to have a neighbourhood pho place that is good, nice people, tasty food and fast service at a reasonable price.
