This is a significant mismatch with the description and was quite disappointing. Whats more frustrating is that the restaurants response did not acknowledge the issue. Instead, they shifted the blame to the platform, claiming the description wasnt written by them. Customers can only rely on the platforms information when ordering, so I hope the restaurant ensures their descriptions are accurate in the future. Your other noodles are indeed good, but this particular experience left me dissatisfied and questioning your service attitude. This two-star rating reflects my disappointment with the dish and how the issue was handled, and I hope it encourages you to improve. The food is great. Have been there over 10 times, I left tips every time. But I am kinda disappointed today, no server was paying attention to customers, I looked at them and tried to reach out to ask for a glass of water, and a server even passed by while refilling water for other customers, i still didn t get any water this time. It happened to me few times. They are supposed to treat every customer the same way.

Noodles made right there, and we had two dishes (one chicken and one beef) and some really nice crispy egg rolls. This is a true noodles house, and the dishes were served cold. Highly recommended!

I usually get soup at such restaurants but here I decided to give their chicken noodle salad a try and it was phenomenal! Something I know I will surely crave again in the future. Just so good, so fresh. Tons of garlic and spice, and juicy chicken. Yum! Service was really quick but could have been better (i.e. they do not check upon you once plates are served nor remove them even after a long time being done eating...). Had they done this, they could have sold us tea or something else. I also liked the dinnerware and clean modern decor.

The employees were so kind and hardworking as well. When paying there were some issues with the payment system but the staff were so kind and apologetic. I found the price to be quite reasonable, and their class soup had a very familiar taste, similar to the hand, pulled noodle shop located in the heart of the Byward market.

But I do recall a vegetarian noodle option we ordered a side dish of edamame salad that was tasty to go with our noodles.

There are a lot of options for noodles in the downtown/centretown area. This place is up there with the best ones I ve tried. The fresh pulled noodles make the difference. You pay a couple of bucks more than you do at many places but you get your money s worth, you wont leave hungry.

What a surprise. I traveled to Ottawa and chose this restaurant after reading reviews online. I didn t expect it to be really delicious. It tastes like Lanzhou beef noodles that I haven t tasted in Toronto. The noodles taste very authentic and the soup is also good. The two cold dishes, the money key and the saliva chicken, are both delicious and Sichuan style. All in all very good, recommended!

First time there. Never again. We came here just trying out places we never been to. The reviews looked convincing enough. But when we went there the service was terrible, the food was just okay. The server was so rude, literally just threw bowls and plates on the table and never checked in on us for our refills or my friend order that she missed, we tried getting her attention and she noticed us but never came over (which was a bit weird) so we decided to share the food we have since we ordered a lot of foods anyway. I confronted her about this when I went up to pay, I even tipped her too thinking maybe she s just not in a good mood that day and looking back in old days as a server myself I want to relate to her, but there were no reaction from her and she just waved us out. We don t know each other nor do any of my friends know or has have any beef with her before. Talking about the food, I do not know the hype around this place. La mien at the Byward market taste wayyyy better, everyone s there more friendly and the restaurant, judging from utensils, chairs, tables and the atmosphere is wayyy cleaner, trust me.

Tried the egg rolls as well, usually I add a lot of plum sauce to them, these were fantastic as is and crispy exterior with soft meat and cabbage on the inside. My first time here, will be back.

I ordered shredded chicken cold noodles and beef noodles, both of which tasted very good. After observing for a while, I saw that every noodle was hand-made by the chef after placing the order. The atmosphere is great, and you can see that there is great harmony between the boss and the employees. . Little beauty Vicky is very cute and the service is excellent. I will try Korean cold noodles and scallion noodles next time! (I didn t think of taking pictures until after I finished eating)

Excellent/Stellar service with great staff and informative menu information to provide. I ordered the classic both times, as this was my second visit and I always order the widest noodles. You can get chili on the side (its available on the table). In summer they have fans. Theres an area where you can see the person hand-pulling the noodles. Accepts credit card. They forgot my cutlery to place when I asked them to help finishing packing my noodles for me, but otherwise I am very happy with their service.

Very happy to find a place with homemade noodles. The chicken salad noodle dish was cold and refreshing. The black bean sauce noodle dish was also lovely but the broth it comes with doesnt taste like much so maybe we wouldnt add as much next time. Reasonably priced and good portions. We will be back !

Very nice noodle place! Highly recommended! We were there in the Ottawa Marathon weekend for pre race loading. It is a great place to meet up for any sizes of groups. We were a group of 20 and the owner and the staff helped us re-org their tables and chairs. We sat very comfortably. We tried about 5 or 6 different kinds of noodles and all were very tasty. The restaurant is clean, serves big portions of food that priced very reasonably, and provides an excellent service. Next time we will revisit again!

I picked the three Xi and it went very well with my beef and pickled cabbage soup. Furthermore, the savoury favours from a broth that has been cooked for 8 hours really places this restaurant into a foodies top choice. Update I had another good experience at Meet Noodle. I ordered beef noodles, fried noodles, and saliva chicken. The beef noodles taste pretty authentic. The fried noodles taste completely unauthentic and very salty. The saliva chicken doesnt taste authentic either. Its strange why this store has a rating of four stars or more.

Everything is affordable and delicious, and the waitress is also very kind. I will recommend it to friends who want to visit Ottawa!

The owner was yelling at the delivery person, and I felt in a bad mood after eating at this place due to the bad service i guess It was happened in 28th January at around 4-5PM. The service was really friendly and fast. The waitress was super nice. Unfortunately the beef noodle soup I ordered didn t have much flavour and the beef portion was very small (and mostly fat). Overall I felt that the price I paid wasn t worth the size and taste(less) dish.

Got the large hand pulled beef noodles that were satisfactory. I would have preferred the broth to have a bit more flavour. It leans heavily on the chili oil and toppings for the flavour but they are also rather mild. If youre looking for a large comforting bowl of noodles, this is it but expect nothing beyond that.

I tried this place for the first time in November. I never noticed it before. The building is magnificent, the dining room is very bright, very spacious and very clean. The employees welcome us very warmly. And above all: the food served is excellent! I tried the braised beef soup, pickled mustard soup, zhajiangmian, biangbiang mian and spicy cucumber salad. Little bonus: the dry noodle dishes all come with a small bowl of beef broth to rinse the palate. Everything is absolutely delicious! Its my favorite restaurant for lunch on days when I work on site. Vegetarian options: Many of their dishes are vegetarian: biangbiang mian, tomato and egg noodles, noodles with scallion oil. There are also several cold side dishes.

Ordered beef noodle through Uber eats. Recieved it with all noodles stuck together at the bottom of the bowl. Waited about 5-10 minutes with the broth being super hot, still stuck together. I gave it an extra star cause the sesame balls were amazing, but the soup was unfortunately awful.

This was our first time at this restaurant and it will certainly not be our last! It surpassed all my expectations I had. The food was delicious, the atmosphere, vibe and environment was so pretty and we felt very comfortable and welcoming right when we entered. The 2 plates of cold noodles that we ordered were so good and I have to say they were the best cold noodles I ve ever tasted compared to the restaurants that we tried in Toronto, Montreal and Quebec. The sauce was just so good and delicious that we were about to order more plates of it but we were too full in the end. We will certainly be back!!

Freshly hand made noodles are really tasty with perfect crispness. You can choose between various noodle thicknesses. Beef soups have nice full bodied flavour with nice seasonings. Pickled cabbage beef is excellent and portions are generous. The spring rolls are a nice appetizer crispy but fairly average in taste.

Really good noodles. Worth for us to drive 1500+km to eat the noodle. Liangpi is so good. Very delicious ramen. There is no technology or hard work at all. You can rush with confidence. Liangpi is super delicious. It was not in vain that we drove 1,500 kilometers to have this bite.

Our first time here and all 3 dishes we ordered were delicious - Beef brisket noodle soup, Cold noodle salad with chicken & Steamed chicken in chili sauce. It was just the right amount of spiciness for me. Service was good. Will definitely be back to try the other dishes!

First time visiting and was very impressed! I passed by this place almost everyday for work and visited for the first time yesterday with my girlfriend. We loved the food! Noodles were perfectly cooked and very nice, broth of soup was good, biang biang noodles were good and we loved the cold noodles. They also had some banger old music going on. It was very unique and made the vibe very homey for my girlfriend since she is Chinese. Service was super friendly and attentive and overall, quality, taste of food and overall atmosphere of restaurant was great. Regret not coming here earlier! Highly recommend.

Very good noodle house. They literally hand make it out so you know its very fresh! A definite must go to dine in resturuant!!! Me and my boys loved this place! We will have to go there again soon.

Nicely decorated restaurant in the middle of bustling Ottawa that serves Lanzhou-style hand-pulled beef noodles. You can observe the chef as he creates the noodles from scratch. Overall food is good, not the best Ive had but definitely on par with its competitors in Ottawa (you know who they are). Not too oily or spicy, with just the right amount of heartiness in the broth. Somewhat salty, so try not to drink the entire soup. Decent portion size if you get the Large. Variety of noodle types to choose from, all of which are very chewy and fresh as they are (obviously) made on the spot. Also to note are the attentive service and reasonable pricing of menu. They offer promotions from time to time depending on the season. For reference: I got the Classic Hand-pulled Beef Noodle - Large.

Braised beef noodles = 10/10 (suggest adding an egg) Pepper chicken = 10/10 Chilli oil spill noodles = 11/10 This place is a welcome surprise. The food is served very fast but its clearly fresh. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a filling meal.

This is my first time ordering from Meet Noodle, and I ordered the spicy sliced beef and the chilli dry noodles among other sides. It was so delicious and I devoured everything before I could take pictures. Can t wait to try out other dishes! I see reviews about their food causing stomach issues in some customers. Delicious authentic asian style noodles - we also enjoyed the Chinese crepe.... the noodles leaned towards larger portions, but the appetizers were surprisingly small in comparison. We ordered the chili and sour potato and it came in a tiny dish usually used for sauces... The noodles were hand pulled in at the front of house, and were QQ Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible by wheelchair - theres a flight of 5-6 stairs

Very modern decor. Food is amazing for Ottawa and I highly recommend the liangpi if you ve never had it before. It s a vegan cold noodle salad dish from north western China. The beef noodles are great and authentic too, but I usually prefer the hui style broth which I ve only found in Toronto and Montreal.

What I ate was fried noodles, which were not salty like those made in some restaurants. They tasted great! The side dishes are great! Very appetizing! Especially the saliva chicken, the sauce is very fresh! This store is making magic noodles! Everything tastes so outstanding good! Not bad. The cold noodles are quite delicious. It is said that you should choose thin ramen to have the taste of soup.

So authentic and delicious. I totally recommend the biang biang noodles, they were the closest thing Ive had to noodles I ate in Xian. Also super fun to watch them hand pull the noodles youre about to eat!

Tomato and Egg Noodles. A terrible batch. It s the first time I ve seen an egg covering the noodles. It tastes like noodles with tomato sauce. It s inedible. It s gone.

Highly recommend their pickled cabbage beef noodles! ! ! Lanzhou Ramen is delicious, and to my surprise, the chef knows how to pull buckwheat ribs! Tomato egg noodles are fried eggs, so they are very fragrant and delicious. The cold noodles with shredded chicken are full of garlic flavor and the seasoning taste is not to mention Every time I go to order, I spend a long time wondering what I want to eat.

The eggs in the tomato egg noodles are fried eggs. There is too much oil. When you chew them, the oil will overflow from your mouth. It is impossible to eat. I hope the store can provide scrambled eggs as an option in the future.

A bright light on a bitter cold winter night, a hot bowl of ramen noodles, and a mouthful of fragrant noodle soup directly transport me back to those late-night beef noodle restaurants on Xueyuan Road in Beijing. It s really comfort food, and I visit it every time I go to Ottawa for business. Happiness guaranteed! (I was in such a hurry to eat the beef noodles that I didn t have time to take a photo. Let s make up for the cold skin ones from the previous photo. It s the same authentic old Xi an taste)

Happy that we have one more hand-pulled noodle shop in Ottawa! I had the braised beef noodle ( ). The beef was cooked to my liking, soft enough to chew and not mushy. There were cuts from the plate and shank. Very flavourful. Hubby had the regular beef noodle ( ) and he liked it too. The noodle was freshly pulled before cooking. Ambience was good too. The shop was bright and clean and the seating was comfortable.

I ordered it from uber. I ordered fried noodles once before and they were tasteless. I thought I would make a note this time. Even though they were sour and spicy, they were still tasteless. I don t know if the chef doesn t care about the notes? The chicken in the Shredded Chicken Cold Noodles was so fishy that it almost tasted like crap. I always thought the reviews were okay, but I didn t expect it to be so bad.
