Probably the worst wings Ive ever had. Soggy. Not hot. Undercooked. Sloppy. What the hell man. So dissatisfied and disappointed. I overpaid because they are so expensive. So let down. They advertised 50% off night and ingot precisely 4 wings and 20 legs. Disgusting. Soggy undercooked wet wings. Never had this before in my life. Didnt know it was possible. Stay away!!!! At all costs! Horrible wings

I love their vegan menu, especially for brunch! Beer is cheap and it s a great place to bring non-veg family and friends so everyone can have great pub grub. Only thing is a bummer is the slow service even if the restaurant isn t packed.

As locals, weve given Hometown Grill multiple chances, hoping for better service each time, but after this last visit, we re incredibly disappointed. We ended up waiting over an hour and 20 minutes for our food. While we were waiting. We were watching order after order for Uber eats or skip the dishes, deliveries being filled while we were completely ignored. When food finally arrived, several dishes were cold, and the staff didn t seem concerned about the delay. We really wanted this place to be a reliable spot for our family, but the slow service and lack of attention have become a pattern. We love the vegan menu, but are absolutely DONE with the enormous wait for someone to take our order and then the 1.5 hr wait for food to arrive. Even when the restaurant is empty! They prioritize their delivery services over their restaurant patrons. We ve tried to support a local business, but unfortunately, we won t be coming back.

We just had a delicious cheeseburger with sweet potato fries. Amazing as usual!

Food is great, atmosphere is great and the servers IF you can find one are slow. Ive brought many guests here and they quickly say how inattentive the servers are which is true. I overlook it and expect it when I come there but I have to admit is it frustrating.

Good food, service is okay, but the audio is unnecessarily loud. Seriously, it s the loudest sports bar I ve ever been to. For context, I m here at least every other month whether it s for a UFC fight, drinks, or grabbing food with a friend or my wife. Sometimes, I m here once a month. Even on UFC fight nights, the audio is still way louder than it needs to be. What s strange is that even when the bar isn t packed, they still crank up the sound as if it s a huge PPV night. It s so loud that we can barely hear ourselves talk. Last time, we actually asked the staff to lower the volume, and while they did drop it a bit, either it wasn t much, or I swear they turned it back up later. How am I supposed to enjoy going out with my friends if I can t even have a conversation? Don t get me wrong, I really like this place the food is solid, the daily deals are great, and the vegan menu is awesome, making it a great spot for both meat-eaters and their vegan friends. I actually brought my family here recently because one of them is vegan, and they were super impressed with the options. Everyone enjoyed their food. The service that night was good (it s usually okay/standard). But again, they had a football game on, and despite the bar being less than a quarter full, the sound was cranked up like it was Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Here s a thought: adjust the volume to match the crowd. If it s 25% full, use 25% volume. If it s 50% full, 50% volume. And if it s packed, sure, go all out. Another idea is to adjust the surround sound so that one part of the bar can be louder for the people who want to really focus on the game, while another part can be quieter for people who want to socialize. This system would be pretty easy to set up and would likely attract more clientele. I can t imagine how many people have walked out after just walking in, sat down for a bit and left, or just never came back assuming it s always this loud. And that s a shame, because otherwise, this place has so much going for it. And yes, I know the patio is an option, but I don t always want to sit outside unless I m in the mood for it. I see a lot of potential in this spot, but Im giving it 3/5 stars due to a few consistent issues. The audio kills the atmosphere, so Im giving atmosphere a 1/5. Service is usually 3/5 decent, but nothing exceptional. The food is 4/5 overall, and I enjoy almost everything on the menu. However, the pizza is a real letdown. Its always too lightly cooked the dough is soft, floppy, and very pale, with almost no colour, which means it lacks flavour. No one likes a pizza with flop. Even when I asked for it to be well done the second time, it still came out soft and pale. The pizza is a 1/5 for me. A couple of suggestions: cook the pizza more thoroughly. Colour means flavour, and a properly cooked pizza would make a huge difference. Putting the pepperoni on top would actually differentiate the pizza from the cheap, greasy Ottawa style. Placing it underneath the cheese hides the flavour, makes it soggy and makes the pepperoni nearly a waste. You lose that crispy, flavourful texture that people expect. A slightly thinner pizza with 10-20% less dough and cheese, with the pepperoni on top and cooked properly, would be a significant improvement. This would not only improve quality but also help save money on ingredients while allowing you to maintain the same price. If you prefer to keep the pepperoni under the cheese, maybe switch to Italian salami, which doesn t need to be cooked.

I have been here multiple times for their breakfast, its a great place, and the service is awesome. They have some good vegan options, too . Overall, it is a nice place to hang out, especially if you are into sports. This is the 3rd time our group has come to Hometown, each time hoping the experience would be better, but today we gave up and left. We arrived just past 12 noon and sat out on the patio. It was busy inside but it was expected as there was a RedBlacks game at 3pm, so lots of people were there pre-game. However, we specifically asked whether they expected delays. They said not an issue. After 45 mins and asking the server 3 times to order drinks, we were served. An hour into it, we ordered our food. At 2hrs, still no sign. No server in sight. Kept going in and asking. Just rolling eyes and they ll check . At 2 hrs 10 mins, it was too much and we got up and left. Apologized to the server, it she seemed relieved! It s perfectly understandable if you are busy and have lack of staff, we get it. But communicate with your customers and be honest. It s too bad. It used to be a great place to come but the service has gone downhill and no one seems to care.

Fun sports bar with a variety of choices including ones for those who have dietary issues. Food was tasty and service was friendly.

This was my first time at this restaurant, the food was wonderful, the service terrible, we were served coffee but after a while I had to go looking for spoons, cream, milk and sweetener. Eventually we were served our meal, I had to go looking for salt and pepper, jam, we needed extra utensils, we were never asked if we wanted dessert, were was our server, I dont know. Horrible service the restaurant wasnt that busy and there were other servers in the restaurant.

I had 2 fish tacos almost inedible. Fish over cooked and hard. Not good. The Waitress was sorry to hear that but didnt offer a substitute or discount. The salmon my friend had was also very dry.

Ordered in, but was missing items. Called and Hometown delivered the missing wings (delicious!) and some extras! The driver, Tristano, was very kind and apologetic. Please give this great place your business!

We called a day early to make a reservation for game 7 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. We were told they dont take reservations, only walk ins. I called the day of the game to find out the best time to come in and get a seat. I was told 6-6:30. I was there for 6:15. Then I was told I needed a reservation. I explained my issue and management said there was nothing they could do. I had 10 people on their way to watch the game with me.They absolutely could care less about us as customers. Nothing we can do they said.. I will never return.

Our family went to see the Dutch quarter finale games on Saturday. As usual with these Dutch games, the place was packed with orange-dressed people. What a FIASCO this time. It seemed that staff was unprepared to accommodate the usually large crowd. The TVs dropped signal in batches constantly during the game, leaving people scrambling to search for a TV that was still showing the game. The Dutch snacks that can be ordered during these Dutch games (bitterballen) were greasy and overcooked (the filling popped out, leaving empty balls of fried batter). The Hometown wings were just meh, under par. The Ceasar drink was watered down. (Luckily the beer was good.) Spent quite a bit of money, left with the joy of winning the game, and a bad taste for the experience in our regular game restaurant. Well be watching the semi finales with the Dutch team at home on Wednesday... Very, very disappointing.

Excellent sports bar. Good food, friendly service, lots of TVs. For extra points, I went to see Argentina vs Canada for the Cops America. Argentina beat Canada 2-0. So Ill be coming back to watch more matches here. Food

I went there with a friend and it took over 40 minutes after we placed our order when I decided to leave. It should not take more than 15 minutes to do a club sandwich.

Went to Hometown because my daughters wanted Chicken Wings and it was her birthday. Melissa was our server. Melissa was amazing and treated us exceptionally well. My girls really like her. Thats how her service impacts my kids. Thanks for treating us amazing and the specy treat with a candle for her birthday. Well be back soon!

Have gone to Hometown throughout the years on occasion for food after sports. Lately while going there the staff are all young and understaffed. Bartender and lone waitress were vaping and taking shots behind the bar. It was like a scene from Bar Rescue to be honest. Food was decent, we had wings and pizza. The pizza was good, lots of toppings and cheese, wings were alright. Ordered hot hunny but mostly hot but didnt mind that too much. Service was the downfall, didnt get much service and saw them take at least 3 shots before finally attending our table for refills and bills. Others times was the same atmosphere, a hangout place for their young staff after their shifts. Milking the free alcohol and doing whatever they want! We were a group of 6 guys that ordered beers and food for whats its worth

Took over two hours to get our food, they also kept getting confused as to whether they had brought us our drinks or not. The fish was burnt to a crisp, another one of our partys salad had no dressing, anothers eggs and hash browns were cold. The table was filthy. The manager tried to make it right for us by wiping the food off of our bills but this was still a horrible experience that none of us wish to repeat. This place used to be good but it has gone so far downhill and is overly expensive for no reason. I absolutely would never recommend it to anybody for anything else than sitting at the bar and having a beer out of a bottle because they cant get anything right.

Plenty of TVs for sports watching. Too many to count, actually, but the service was slow and took over 20 minutes for us to place an order for a drink. Automatic gratuity on your bill does little to motivate the servers I imagine.

Have been here NUMEROUS years for either Mothers Day or Fathers day, there has always been a Brunch Buffet for those days. This year SUCKS!!!!!!! Arrived at table at 1030 am , it is now 11:35 am . Still no utensils , had to ask for cream and sugar 3x . No food close to coming . This is ridiculous. 1 of worst service I have ever seen. 100% not totally prepared for this day!!!!

First time there on Wings night. It was pretty busy so I cant blame the server for not checking on us or even telling us what the specials were . Good deal on the wings good deal on the beer quart and great atmosphere . They have TVs all over the place which is awesome. The chicken wrap was awfully dry which was surprising giving the price $22. I was somehow expecting a fresh piece of chicken. Also 2 wings were raw and had some blood in the center ...kinda grossed me out and ended on a bad note. Will I go back ? Yes I think so but wont order the wings or a wrap

Been here a couple times now and I am obsessed with the vegan menu. Its quite expansive and delicious. Its not often that you find a sports bar with this many vegan options!

I think the consensus is that Hometown has a remarkable Vegan menu with tons of options The venue is a great Sports Bar. They have multiple TVs for every viewing angle, and its quite a large area so they can accommodate large groups. The food is pretty good (only had the dinner menu). Ive been here several times, during weekdays and weekends, when games are on/off and the only negative I have is that the service is extremely slow. Be prepared to wait 40/45 minutes for your meal to arrive. All in all, great sports bar atmosphere & good food.

We were a party of 12, mid afternoon and chose to sit under the tent on the patio. Service was good, drinks arrived quickly. Meals took a bit longer but it was a big group. Food arrived hot and was good. Portions were a good size - nothing left over to take home. The tent itself seemed kind of old and unfriendly. Inside was a very nice true sports bar. Lots of parking. FULL vegan menu. Prices a bit high but overall good value.

First & foremost, this was my second time dining here and my experience the first time compared to this one, which will be my last, was like night and day. Decided to eat here with a few buddies and catch some playoff action. Had a few things on the menu such as the Hometown nachos (which were decent because I was on the verge of starvation) the Oreo hush puppies which were packed with sugar but literally just deep fried Oreos and the main event, the Hometown Smash burger . In the description they label it as Two HANDMADE 4oz patties which I will strongly disagree as it was quite possibly the worst beef I have ever tasted in my entire life and definitely not handmade. I ve had my fair share of burgers throughout the world and that was in my top 3 worst I have ever had. The burger itself was nowhere near what you and I would call a smash burger. Whoever is in the kitchen should go to an establishment that sells real smash burgers and take notes. the buns were as hard as a rock and barely edible. The entire burger was absolutely horrendous and distasteful. I only managed to take a few bites before setting it down and sliding my plate away, mind you I had this meal a few days ago and I am still dealing with slight stomach pain and a feeling of unease as my appetite has slowed down a bit due in large part to that burger. Really disappointing as my first time dining at Hometown was excellent. If I could give 0 stars I truly would.

The atmosphere is casual and fun with many tvs facing people to keep them entertained. Both our server and host provided quick and friendly service. We were dissappointed to discover that our ribs tasted very dry underneath the sauce.

Came here for a Sunday breakfast on a long weekend. The wait staff are good, and serve plenty of coffee. Which, as it turns out, is just as well, as you can wait 45 minutes or more from ordering the breakfast to it arriving at your table. The food when it arrives is good, the price is reasonable. But the wait time is way too long when the place is only half full of customers. In short: servers are good, food is good, time to get the food not good. Thats why I cant give five stars.

Good vibes sports bar.Most of the food was good, but seriously DO not get the pizza. Id be embarrassed serving that, Ive tried many pizzas in Ottawa and can safely say that Costco pizza is better. So much cheese and toppings fall off, heavy, disgusting. If they improve their pizza and make somewhat of an effort it would be so good. Cheers to whoever considers getting the pizza.

Great venue for large gatherings. They even have a private room that can be booked. There is lots of variety on the menu and it is not too expensive

Hometown is my favourite place to meet friends for breakfast. Food and service are great, and I love the atmosphere. It s very spacious and there s lots of seating for small and large groups.

We went for brunch. It was decent, maybe could ve been a bit hotter. Like maybe the food sat for a few minutes. Home fries were good though. My vegan friend really enjoyed the vegan Benedict!

I wouldnt recommend for breakfast. The food was OK. The potatoes were dry and server kept forgetting to bring things, had to ask multiple times.

Food wasn t the best , their fish and chips and pizza is bland! Their service is super slow. We had to wait 40mins for a tartar sauce for fish and chips. We asked the waitress (Emma) 5 times!! If you want to watch the game on a big screen TV. Then I dont think there is any place in Ottawa that has a bigger TV screen than the one at Hometown Sports Grill. It is huge, with good resolution. There are also a lot of 55+ screens mounted all around the restaurant so no matter where you are you can watch the game clearly. The atmosphere, service and food are good too. So if you like my reviews, photos or videos and believe size really matters then hit the like button.

The waitress we had was outstanding. Went to watch UFC, which they put on for us. However a while later someone changed the feed to hockey and when we asked a few mins later we were told that the person who knows how to change the channels was not there so they could not change it back. Many many tvs but couldnt put it on for us. Yeah right. It was a free UFC event also so its not like they had to pay or anything to make us happy. Oh well. We will think twice next time before choosing this place as an outing.

This use to be my go to sport bar but the service has degraded to the point I cannot return. You have to wait a very long time between each drink. Last time I went I wanted to order some food, took 45 min for the server to come and see me, by this time I just wanted my bill. This is not the first time I received bad service but I like the spot so much thought I would try it again. I will not be going back .

We used to love going here but the prices have gone up significantly, quality and variety have gone down, and service is much slower than it used to be. For example, a veggie burger with fries used to be $15 and is now $22. This place has been disappointing lately.

The food and prices were good. The service on the other hand was none existing, we had to get someone everytime we needed something, and when they did come to bring hot coffee etc they paid no attention to my 10 month old and placed all of it right in front of him where he could of easily burned himself. It wasnt very clean, the high chair was very dirty I had to clean it with wipes before using it, the change table in the bathrooms was dirty as well and way to high, I couldnt reach to change my sons diaper comfortably although I am 52 I have never had that issue before.

We were there today for the draw for the trip to Orlando. When we arrived we mentioned we were there specifically for the draw. They just told us to go to the back but never mentioned we needed to be put on a list. When the draw was about to start we mentioned to our waiter that we probably werent on the list and she said shed put us in. She went to the gentleman who was doing the draft and apparently put our name down. When the draft was over our name was never mentioned, so it was never on the list. We requested to speak with the person who did the draft and the waiter told us a manager was going to speak to us which never happened. We ended up leaving. Very disappointed!!

We waited two hours for our food to come out. The host should let people know that it s going to be a very long wait for food. The food is decent but not worth the wait.

We went the for brunch at 11:30am today ! We got our meal at 1:06pm ! The waiter only came at 12:50pm to apologize to us about the delay ! It wasn t just us everyone around us was waiting! It would have been best if they told us we were going to wait long to get our meals instead of just keeping us waiting that long !

Excellent location, reasonable pricing and excellent staff. Food is always excellent with good size portions and good quality.

Hometown Grill was the recommended restaurant for our girls hockey tournament this weekend. They accomodated our very large group for brunch and did a great job despite the other group of 50 that was sat just before us and a full restaurant. Lots of great breakfast choices on the menu and food came out hot and fresh even though it took a little longer given the full house. Server had a smile on her face and kept her cool. Kudos to the staff for taking in these big teams and making sure everyone was fueled up for the rest of our tournament.

Good place to go and watch sports. Servers are accurate taking food and drink orders. If you are a regular patron, they remeber you. Pub faire meals are good and generous.

Ive been here 3 times now because they have an amazing vegan menu. We came on a long weekend Saturday for brunch. The service and food was still 5/5. However the food took 40 minutes to come. Thats the only reason Im giving them 4 instead of 5 stars. I dont think they were prepared for the amount of customers.

Food is ok, service is slow and atmosphere is meh. Not much more to say about it tbh. I will come back as I don;t mind the food, and service is ok but a bit slow. Atmosphere, I could really do without 1000 screens, but then again I could not go to a sports pub. What is the point of the vegan menu?? Its a fad and most of the stuff they serve is vegan stuff made to taste like junk food (made of cardboard and over-processed gluten and some other unpronounceable nonsense). Anyways, just my 2 cents.

This used to be my favorite place but the prices are just ridiculous, even in this economy. $23 for a cauliflower wrap & fries. Service has been horrible the last 2 times. Waited at the host stand for 5 minutes. Servers walked by but not a single one bothered to say hi or seat me. Finally gave up and sat myself at the bar. Bartender chatted with a customer for 3 or 4 minutes while I sat there waiting. No acknowledgement whatsoever...I got up to put on my jacket and leave, which finally got his attention. Dropped by to give their pizza a try and was pleasantly surprised. Homemade dough, good flavour and texture, nicely baked, oo-wee, gooie cheese, decent toppings on the combination side ... definitely homemade. Well worth it my books. $26 clams for a large combo, plus 2 large sized pops, brought the bill to $38 all-in (not including tip). Service was good and restaurant was clean. Looks like a popular place and a TON of tvs for the sports fan. Every night had specials on the menu. I think Sundays gives you 25% off your pizza. Will come again with my gang. Vegetarian options: Menu seemed to have a good number of vegan items. Parking: Lots of parking. Kid-friendliness: No worries here. Wheelchair accessibility: Level entrance way ... no stairs to deal with.

Our hockey team has been going here for years. Tasso and his team always look after us. We usually order off the seniors menu, good choices. Parking: Except on a few very busy days, lots of parking.

Ive had (mostly) the pleasure of eating at Hometown for many years, having taken friends, family, and business associates at all times of the day, including special occasion brunches and parties booked in their private room (penalty box). This is one of the first and few restaurants in Ottawa that have a great amount of Vegan options, but also traditional meat/poultry/fish dishes. Its great because theyve done a great job accommodating everybody. Lately, Ive noted the service and food quality have been on the decline. A couple of years ago I would have given this place 5 stars across the board. Unfortunately it appears there has been a turnover in staff, which based on many experiences have impacted the promptness and accuracy of service, and the quality of food. In the last month alone, Ive been 3 times, once with business associates and twice with groups of 15+. Each time there have been issues with the service and food. On the last outing, the manager was kind enough to offer a restaurant credit to help balance out mistakes with the order. It really shows that our experience is important to him, however, there seems to be a pattern of recurring issues. Perhaps lack of process, lack of employee training, or simply new employees unable to meet the service levels of what this restaurant once offered. I still like this restaurant and will continue to frequent it, however, I am concerned what the future will hold as there has been a noted decline in the offering. My immediate suggestions to bring it back and possibly surpass where it once was: - Ensure orders are taken carefully - Ensure group orders are delivered within a reasonable amount of time (recently some people in our party had to wait 10+ minutes following the first dishes delivered) - My interest is primarily the Vegan offerings and would like to see items such as the Beyond Pasta reintroduced, but also would like to see some healthier options added to the menu as most currently are super processed or fried. - Ensure staff are aware of the trust given by guests with respect to Vegan items and their careful preparation - have experienced mistakes, which are not acceptable. - Have a manager visit each table to ensure the experience level is great Please take this feedback as constructive with my intent to benefit the restaurant, but also to flag issues. I would be happy to re-review and alter the ratings based on my future experience. Thanks! Vegetarian options: Expansive Vegan and Vegetarian menu, rare for a sports bar. As expected, not healthy food per se, but does qualify as Vegan and is generally enjoyable.

Came here for brunch during our stay in Ottawa and I was shocked by the amount of vegan options! I m not usually a fan of tofu scramble but it was super tasty here! The only flaw was that the coffee was quite weak!

I go every Sunday evening to play board games with a group that gets together there. The most food I ever order is a small fries but other people get their dinner and play and eat at the same time. Its a rather noisy place for gaming but board games are pretty easy to play even with noise and people you dont know. Its a very convenient place to get to by bus and with lots of parking for those who come by car. The board game players take up a third to half of the whole place. Its lots of fun from six until quite late but I would really like it if they had less noise. Wheelchair accessibility: I use a large Walker rather than the wheelchair and have to navigate my way around the place quite carefully but people are friendly and help move chairs out of my way usually, but the washroom is not exactly accessible I can get in but I have to leave my Walker by the door and hold myself up right on the counter. Also the toilet seat in the washroom is way too low.

Great casual place for breakfast. Good and plentiful food. Prices are reasonable. Pleasant staff who are always willing to please. Sports bar environment but well worth a visit.

Arrived to be told we need a reservation for breakfast. First we have heard of this and we have been going there for over 25 years! There were many empty seats and they still would not seat us because we had no reservation. Not happy!!

Hometown Sports Grill is always perfect in every respect! The food is succulent, the service is the best in town! The vegan menu is amazing as is the seniors menu. Check online for holiday specials or brunch! Reservations accepted.

Pretty good food but took almost an hour and a half to get it.

The place is close to Cricket ground and it has great poutine alongside pizza. However customer service was a little slow( probabky staff was on holiday) nonetheless could be a good place for watching a match together

I deleted a 5star review from a while ago, and would have updated with a new 3 star review but I wanted to give them time to turn things around. Which things seem to be improving again, and I hope to update to a 5 star review again soon because I know this restaurant is capable of that. Food (and to a lesser extent, service) had suffered over the past year, but things have improved again. No fault of their own I imagine, I know they had been hiring for a long time and it seemed like maybe getting trained staff was an issue, one I believe is better now. My fiancée and I went yesterday, I had the Greek Tofu Benny from the vegan menu. It was delicious, albeit a tad too far on the salty side. The service yesterday was great, but I gave 3 star for that because the previous day my fiancée went alone and was forgotten about, and when his food was brought out after he asked about it, it was cold. He still thanked the server and tipped well, he knows accidents can happen. This is still better than the experiences we had throughout the year. Our experience yesterday was much better and we hope this is a sign that things will return to their usual top-notch service and drool-worthy meals.

Everything was great except they gave me the wrong order. I had already touched the food before they came back and told me. It worked out for me because they gave me both meals. So I took one home. Friendly staff, good food, very clean. I would definitely recommend this place.

A group of us go here after our hockey game. It become aware to us this week that they bill you 15% gratuities on your bill automatically. Then when tapping it asks for tip. I think I have been tipping 30% in total for a few weeks (not realizing) while the service is so very slow on Friday nights. Is this a new thing in Ontario or just this restaurant?

Came here for lunch and got the chicken parm. The caesar salad to start was okay, pretty standard parmesan, bacon crumble and croutons. The garlic bread was good, on a nice thick grilled toast. The spaghetti and meat sauce was very hearty, with lots of meat and sauce. The sauce had a bit of an odd taste to it that I wasnt expecting though. The chicken also had a lot of meat sauce on it, which is unusual but the chicken was still good and crispy. A pretty hearty portion and flavors were pretty good. Overall a pretty good experience. Some of their prices seemed on the high side for what it was, but overall it was good. Vegetarian options: They have a whole section of the menu that is vegan. Parking: Decent sized free parking lot.

Horrible experience. I was a previous huge supporter of hometown and always enjoyed going there. But I would not recommend anyone to go there. Management and kitchen staff are definitely sub-par, and just dont seem to care about the service or product they are serving.

Great place, for any game, TV football, Sunday night , hockey or even board games , Dungeons & Dragons , GREAT prices on beer. Love it.

Service was terrible, had to ask for water and cutlery constantly. Food was awful and ridiculously overpriced and my order was wrong. Mixed drinks didnt seem to have alcohol in them, kind of a rip off. If youre going for the games, the TVs are all poor quality and differently calibrated.

Just went with a group of friends and had an amazing time. The food was great and the service was amazing. Would definitely recommend Parking: The parking is right beside the restaurant and has probably 50 spots.

Big sports bar with the typical large screens. Food was mediocre and service acceptable.

Lots of tables, bright and clean, friendly fast service and good food. Plenty of tvs if watching an event is your thing.

Food was surprisingly good. Though the service was slow, we were a little chilly and we saw a couple of bugs. Good for a sports bar.

Good service, food was ok. I was surprised how busy they were on a Monday at 2:30! I will come back and try other dishes besides the beef tacos (they had mayo in it, why?)

Really disappointing! I suspect the fish and chips were cooked ahead and just reheated, overcooked. Fries were probably the same. Main meal came before the appetizer which was weird. Service was good, waitress was courteous and pleasant. Extremely overpriced for the quality of the food. I would recommend you eat before you go there. Parking: Lots of parking available

Went to Hometown last night with a group of 7 guys. Terrific service from Emma and the wings were very good, as usual.

The service and food is reliably pleasant. Aside from it being a sports bar and me not liking sports, this is one of my favourite places in this part of Ottawa

Went at 1130 really wanted lunch. Everything is bread heavy at breakfast. No lunch til 1230 was the response:( Then another table seated at 1150 was given lunch menus

Good food at decent prices, lots of TVs.

I usually go there for some gathering. They have lots of space and easy to book for big groups. Food is so-so, stick to pizzas and the simple things, anything with steaks are usually not very good.
