Small place with a small dance stage. It gets crowded after midnight and you have to fight your way inch by inch to get to the bathroom, to get a drink or even to get out. It is indeed the size of a room. They don't have a dance stage really just a small space that everyone is bumping into each other. Remove the game machines to open up some space for a larger dance stage. On my second and third visits I asked the security guard in the outside who searches patrons like they are suspected criminals if there is a cover charge, and he said no but when I got inside the other security guard stopped me and asked me for a $20 cover change! Ridiculous that they want to charge $20 for a small dump like this. On my second visit I refused and got out but on my third visit I paid because my female friends insisted that I do. I did see a few people got in before me without paying cover charge! Also, all other better places across the street were either free admission or $5 to $10 cover charge. I am boycotting this bar because of rude discriminatory security guards, but I am giving it two stars for nice hard-working bartenders.
Room 104 has the best bartenders in town especially the one with the red hair. Always a great customer service . I recommend it to everyone.
Room 104 is hands down my go to spot! It may be small, but the vibes always make up for its size, with amazing djs and attentive bar staff. One of its many highlights are definitely their extensive list of $4 shots, and for all the tequila lovers out there, you can get $4 tequila shots every Thursday!! If u aren’t convinced yet, you’ll just have to stop by and see how awesome this place is for yourself! Weekends always start early here, and you are always guaranteed a great time!!!
Honestly, the games were this bars bestselling features for me. They must have got rid of the good arcade games they had at some point. The games they have now were not worth me spending money on. Music was decent. Bar wasn't even packed, and I watched the bartender stare off into space for a good 10 mins before acknowledging I was sitting there waiting to be served. Imagine being there on a packed night. No thanks
Went here with my friends and the guys at the door, Knox and Doomie were very nice. They both did their job well and helped us when a guy was harassing us in front of the bar. They were also very kind after and made sure we were ok. Awesome service and those guys deserve a raise!
One of my fav bar on Clarence St. Very welcoming and friendly. Great music as well. Definitely a place to go if you wanna have a great time with your friends. Thanks to the GM

I went here for my birthday and got a booth. We bought 2 bottles. Music was good but I noticed that our server automatically put in the tip amount herself on the machine before giving us the credit card machine which is unacceptable. She did this 5 times to my friends and I. As a customer, I should be able to choose how much I would like to tip our server and for her not to take advantage of the fact that we were all drinking. We re all very upset by our experiences and will probably not be returning.

The service here is horrible. The bar is tiny and the music isn t great. Mainly comes down to the service. No one can smile. Bottle service is useless. Still had to go to the bar for mixes etc.

From the security at the door to the bartender to the DJs if not one of the best clubs in Ottawa it s definitely the best.
Don t normally go drinking but some friends wanted to go out and since I was visiting from out of town(I live in Toronto) I decided to go out with them. Upon arrival to the Byward Market we were approached and greeted by a friendly female employee outside of the bar, she let us know that cover is free before 11 and suggested we check out all of the deals, music, and events happening that night so we decided to see the vibe. Inside was very nice. The music selection for the night was similar to music I listen to, and the overall atmosphere was cool and inviting. Will come back next time I m in town.
Best bar in Ottawa so many shots to choose from. Bartender is amazing everyone super friendly music is amazing If you dont come here you are missing out on an amazing piece of Ottawa night life. You have to experience it for yourself

Their customer services are terrible, even though the bartenders are very nice. The white security guy has some racist issues himself. I went outside with my friend and when I came back, he didn t let me in saying that I was drunk. In fact, I wasn t that drunk. When I told him that I still had my stuff inside and I d just take them then leave, he still didn t let me in. When I confronted him, he was ignorant and super aggressive. The boss wasn t helpful either. He banged on the washroom door and got in while I was using it. Very bad experience! I would give them 0 star if I could. Also, while we were in the middle of the fun, that security guy took our shot glasses without saying anything. He was very rude!

Worst bar ever, for dishonest staffs. We walked in Sunday night at 11, bar tender told us we can seat whenever we want because that time was not busy. We confirm that we can till the table till close so we bought more than $200 dollar beer there, with more than $50 tips. Then, while at 12:00, security pushed us leave since table suddenly leaved. With more than 10 beers left and we only got 4 people, but the let us to standing there, and they refused to give us refund for these. After we argued with management, the so-called manager wanna us spend another $200 and they can get us a table right way. Worst night club experiences in Ottawa. And they just copy and paste responses, with no action down.
Took forever to get drinks and even longer to pay for them. The bartender grabbed my partners almost full drink and emptied it for some reason. Theres also only one stall in the washroom and after my partner went across the street to use their restroom, they wouldnt let him back in. Even with drinks waiting inside.
Multiple employees here scam people for a living wouldn t trust the place based on who works there.

The customer service is lacking although the music, drinks and overall vibe is great. I was charged twice by mistake for a bottle bought. I have reached out to them countless times and still no updates on any refund being issued.
Staff was very kind even tho they were all crazy busy, which we really appreciated! Drinks were strong, cheap, and came fast. The decor was very cool and the atmosphere was great. The one downside is the bathrooms - only one stall.

Great place to go for a few drinks, they have a wide variety of shots. Personally I suggest the blue moon! Arcade feel with a dj, you cant go wrong!

Staff friendly the crowed is good. Music is canned rather then DJ so could be better. And its small.
Not sure if they are permanently close for business or what but they werent open one night when it shouldve been.The phone number is not in service and the email provided is nonexistent, as well as their web site is also a dud. Other than getting there to see if they are open there is no way to honestly tell if hey are actually open or close one night since they dont seem to follow the hours posted on their store front.

Dive bar. Will probably be closed within a year or two. Had some racism issues here. Found it difficult to get staffs attention: waited at the bar for 10 minutes just to get a beer. Bartender just nodded and pointed at me when it was my turn to order. They let way too many people in too. It gets completely packed. Not my idea of a good time.

I went to room 104 tonight with some of my coworkers and we all left with smiles. From the security to management to barstaff, it was an overall amazing experience and we look forward to our next adventure!

Great staff and I do recommend this place. Theres no cover which is a bonus. The drinks are fairly priced and you get quick service. I dont like their POS system, for some reason my cards keep getting declined even though it works everywhere else perfectly fine. So i make sure i bring cash which i dont like to carry around with me. They should upgrade their POS systems, and i noticed Im not the only one with this problem. I do have a healthy credit limit and i know Im nowhere reaching my limit. The bartenders are quick to respond. I do recommend this place.

The drinks are good and cheap, staff are friendly, the atmosphere is nice but only 1 of 8 arcade games worked, the others were broken or not working. One of the working 2 player games stole our money and the only thing we ended playing was air hockey with plastic cups as paddles since they were missing the paddles. Good concept but needs to be better taken care of rather than just using arcade games as decorations.
Only 2 games worked. We waited outside before it opened for 10mins. The bartender sat there the whole time. We walked in at 9pm, the bar top and floor was soooo sticky from the night before. Service was also not great. This place makes me sad, go to House of Targ if you want to go to an arcade bar.
