282 Kent St, Ottawa, ON K2P 2A4, Canada
Mediterranean inspired brunch made with Canadian local ingredients.
First time in Ottawa and wanted to see what the hype was about for this bunch spot. Firstly, ordered a regular Oat Latte. It was nothing spectacular, but good nonetheless. Ordered the big breakfast + salmon avocado toast. Definitely better than average, and portions were okay. Kind of odd that they couldn’t just mix up the egg options(asked for 1 scrambled and one sunny side up) . Food was quick and delicious. Food was good, atmosphere and service were okay. Not a bad joint, nothing too out of the ordinary in my opinion.
Love this place! Great brunch options! Everything tastes delicious. Always go for the crispy cigars and the mimosa margarita is amazing!!
One word, Perfection. The food was good exceptionally, healthy, fresh, robust. Every item was handled with delicacy and care. Absolutely amazing and wish u could have tried ashta pancakes but if I am ever back in the area I would come back
If you are looking for a cozy place to spend time with friends or enjoy a wonderful outing, I highly recommend Mazarine. We had the Shakshuka omelet and Ashta pancake ( Westernized Qatayef :) ), both of which tasted fantastic and looked beautiful. The food is Mediterranean, with signature dishes from countries like Tunisia to Turkey. I asked the cashier, and she mentioned that the chef is Lebanese, which explains the phenomenal flavors. I also think the prices are reasonable. We especially enjoyed the tea and pistachio matcha latte as well. There were vegetarian options too.
Polite staff, delicious flat white and decent brunch. I tried the goat cheese and leeks omlet, that was light but creamy. We also tried the shakshuka and it was flavorful.
Great service and food was good. Beverages (coffee/latte)was ok had the iced pistachio latte. Friendly staff and amazing desserts !! Cute decor. Location is good/busy, wait time on weekends can vary 45-60min so make sure to go in ahead of time and reserve :) worth the wait ! Definitely would come back
Excellent breakfast and super friendly service!! The plates are huge. I had the halloumi omelet and couldn’t finish it. Everything was cooked well. Great brunch!!
Easily one of the most overrated brunch spots I've tried. The food and atmosphere didn't live up to the hype, and the long waiting line just added to the disappointment. Notably, the Shakshouka was a letdown with undercooked and watery tomatoes.
I like this place but there is room for improvement. Tables are too close together, last time our server was leaning on and shaking our table while taking the next table s order. For the same reason, it feels kinda cramped. Super busy on weekends but otherwise pretty quiet. The shakshuka with kofta is yummy, although, as other reviews have said, it s a tad watery and they aren t generous with the bread. It s still tasty, imo. The quality of their iced drinks vary depending on who makes it. Service is pleasant and the place is clean but doesn t appear to have accessible washrooms.
Would highly recommend Mazarine for brunch, and especially for any private event hostings. We have been to Mazarine a few times for brunch, and hosted a baby shower here recently. We felt very well taken care of by owners Selina and Yesmine, and servers Danielle and Daphne, who are all very kind. Leading up to the event, it was very easy to communicate with Selina over email. Prices were the most reasonable out of several venues we looked into. All the staff were very accommodating of allergies/ food intolerances and made sure our guests could have alternative options if the selections we made contained something they could not have. Overall, we had a great experience and would not hesitate to come back again!
Ashta pancakes are to die for!!
Good food.
Superbe, will be back soon, top food and service
A favourite brunch spot of mine in the city! The club sandwich is my go to every time and it never disappoints! So good
Cute little fusion restaurant Went there with friends and it was very good! The only thing is you have to be there early as the restaurant is very small.
Lots of options for a good brunch!
I had my baby shower there and i have endless to say about them. Their service was flawless and they made everyone feel so welcome. Their team kept checking in on me to eat as a host since we tend to forget to eat a lot (also because i was pregnant). The food was coming out constantly. And it was AMAZING. So fresh as well. And they were so accommodating. I can t express how much they made my day feel soooo special and unforgettable. They even participated in the games we had. This became my go to place with my friends and husband. The owners are two badass women who simply excel at what they do !
Delicious food and drinks, cozy atmosphere, and very friendly staff. We love coming here for a nice brunch or coffee.
It can be a bit of a wait but it is sooooo worth it! Everything is well seasoned and very flavourful, and the staff are very kind. The interior is really nice and it s not too packed inside. Big recommend!
Excellent service and delicious brunch. Ashta pancakes
Small restaurant but the food was good. I would definitely go back there when back in town.
Love it here! Vegetarian options: I Food : 5/5 |
Good One
What a great little place. The foods great, the turkish coffee is great and the friendly staff are great! Also quite affordable. Love it.
Went there for brunch today. The food was tasty, but the portion was really small for the price we paid. We went as a party of 2 and got the Shakshuka and the Egg Benedict. We left still feeling hungry. The bread pieces we got with the food was tiny and tomatoes tasted like canned tomatoes. With Turkish coffee plus a dessert, we totalled 70$. Was def not worth the price.
Food is excellent. Had the club sandwich and pomegranate mimosa. Both very delicious. So many choices that Ill be going back soon.
Went for brunch, sitting in the window is very nice and the food was classic with small twists. I was told by the waitress they do not take Amex, but their point of sale system does take it. Mazarine benefits from Amex s free advertising, and Amex recommends Mazarine as a small local business that we should support. I find it deceitful, underhanded, and double-dipping of Mazarine s management to take advantage of Amex s small business advertising then turn around and lie that they do not accept Amex.
Cozy little gem in Ottawa with excellent assortment of traditional Arabic/ Mediterranean foods. The service was friendly and the food and beverages ordered were absolutely fantastic. I recommend the halloumi omelette.
Not a good queuing system for large >4 groups. They seem to prefer to fill the tables than keeping the sequence of the line. Not respectful of time of bigger groups.
Beautiful place amazing team! I Strongly recommend this place, you won t regret at all
Delicious!
The shakshuka and avo toast were delicious. Their coffee is very good as well. We were served by Dafni and she was very friendly. The atmosphere was very cozy as well, I highly recommend this place.
Great food. Friendly staff.
Really nice brunch spot. Food was good, friendly staff. Order the astha pancakes, you wont regret it!
Best place in Ottawa!
we ordered sujuk eggs benedict and Halloumi omelette, and there is no word to explain how tasty they were, and Daniella was so kind and friendly to us
Awesome food. Nice atmosphere. Welcoming staff. Loved it!
The atmosphere and service were excellent! My iced latte too, love their coffee. Everybody else s food was really great, I just didn t think the omelette was, but I would go back and try more for sure!
The leek and goat cheese omelette is so yummy. The potatoes are also very good. The two servers were friendly and efficient. I love their wide variety of coffee choices! Very reasonably priced too.
Really tasty. Would recommend.
We were looking for a location for a light lunch and found this delightful spot by chance. We were totally impressed with the interesting menu choices, the freshness and tastiness of the food, the perfect portion size and our server who was friendly and helpful. We could easily be persuaded to return from the suburbs to try the other Mediterranean inspired offerings. Parking not a problem on a summer Saturday.
The Shakshuka was delicious
Great food, fresh and flavourful great service too
Service was great, a bit busy but worth it. Food is good. The sujuk eggs benni is delicious.
Best brunch in town!!! The food was spectacular. Everything was so fresh and it felt homemade. Loved it!! Dietary restrictions: They can make changes to allergies
Ive been wanting to try this brunch spot for years so we decided to go as soon as they opened to guarantee a spot. The atmosphere is lovely, clean and inviting. The service was good although the club sandwich and side salad were mediocre. The salad was literally lettuce with a couple slices of tomato. It would have been nice to have a bit more vegetables on the salad for the cost. The shakshuka eggs was cooked well and flavorful though I would have preferred more than two tiny pieces of toast with it for the price point. I left still hungry. Overall not a bad place
The staff was very welcoming and took the time to chat with us. We were not left waiting at anytime. The food was delicious and service was prompt . The located was clean and welcoming. The have added new food and drinks to the menu. We love this place the food and the staff. Too sweet!!
A fantastic brunch spot with a unique twist.
Small menu of brunch classics, middle eastern dishes, and fusion. Delicious and reasonably priced. Long waits though, scan the QR code and go for a walk.
The atmosphere here is very serene. The servers are calm, attentive. It s a small space well decorated. The menu is diverse and an experience. The flavours are balanced and perfectly prepared. I should have taken a photo of my plate but I was too eager to dig in! 10/10 do recommend. The prices are very reasonable.
Amazing place to eat - very friendly atmosphere and staff and the food is delicious
I recently ordered takeout from this Turkish breakfast restaurant, and it was 10/10! The service was quick and friendly, and the food was delicious. The iced latte was great too. Highly recommend!
The food was excellent. The service was prompt and courteous. Bravo
Great brunch spot! Good service, delicious food Kid-friendliness: High chairs available Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible - stairs to get in
Very nice mediterranian brunch restaurant. The menu has egg dishes, avocado toast with smoked salmon and a few yogurt based dishes. Our group of 5 all enjoyed our meals. The restaurant is not licensed to serve alcohol. Wheelchair accessibility: Stairs to enter
Such a cute little spot! I d recommend coming early because the wait list can get long fast, but definitely worth it! The food was great, mimosas were great, and the service was so friendly:) will be back!
Total disappointment. Watery Shakshuka with tomato skins, inside is small and noisy and service is poor. Saturday morning was ruined.
The waitlist system is flawless, with a QR ode at the door and a quick registration and less than 15 minutes wait. The service was quite friendly and knowledgeable. All dishes (shakshuka, croque monsieur and classic breakfast) were well presented and sized. The shakshuka is a bit spicier than one would expect. I definitely recommend the Turkish coffee for someone who likes regular black coffee. The notes of cardamom made it a joyful morning brunch.
Good place for brunch in Ottawa. Service a little slow but that was due to the sudden rush at 9:00 a.m. Wifi available.
The food is very delicious
Really liked the food and atmosphere here. Would recommend
My favourite brunch place in Ottawa! Avo Labneh Toast and Ashta Pancakes are must-tries!
I m extremely disappointed with the service at this restaurant. After driving an hour to try it out, we arrived at 1:40, only to be turned away because the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes. A lack of flexibility and consideration for customers efforts is truly disheartening.
We had 4 dishes: Crispy cigars, which were great, an avo toast, shakshuka, and ashta pancakes. You can tell that the recipes are good ones, but the execution was disappointing. I dont know if we caught them on a busy Saturday and the chef was in a hurry? But the shakshuka, for example, was soggy and undercooked. You can easily tell that the tomato sauce needed another 5-10min on the stove. Overall, the experience was ok and we might come back one day, but with caution around what we order
Really reasonable prices and good food
Great food and service. although they don t take reservations, there was a simple waitlist system posted by the door. We were able to walk around and get out of the cold until our table was ready.
The brunch is disappointing. We ordered Shakshuka and Benedict. Shakshuka is just like a simple mix of tomato egg and onions. For Benedict you could find tons of dishes in town with similar quality. Atmosphere is cozy but not outstanding.
Excellent food, something different for brunch...delicious and fast , very clean, and clean bathrooms, highly recommended
I ate during my lunch time, so I had to get it to go. But I had some of the best pancakes Ive had since I was in Montreal 2 years ago. Update, I went to the restaurant and the pancakes tasted better.
Amazing service by Sophie, we had a really really savoury brunch. Plates are made with attention and care and fresh ingredients. We really enjoyed our meal and will go back!
So cute, delicious food and very accommodating and responsive service
Great spot for a great brunch. The pancakes and halloumi omelette were delicious but I m going to try the shakshooka next time as it was quite popular amongst those around us. Great spot for a nice meal but a little small so depending on your timing, there may be a wait but well worth it.
We went on a Sunday morning and had a great time! My friend showed up just after 9.30am and got the last 3-person table without having to wait. The space is fairly small and there are often lines outside. We got mimosas, crispy cigars, shakshukas (mine had feta), the classic breakfast, and ashta pancakes. I didnt have coffee, but others said it wasnt very strong. Crispy cigars were delicious - delicately crispy outside and creamy inside, with a refreshing dip. Ive never had a shakshuka before and found it tasty, especially with the bread, though it was more soup-y than I expected. The pancakes were also great, with a flowery cream on top. Would go back just for the crispy cigars! (In fact strongly considering just grabbing an order of those for takeout the next time I pass by.)
food is absolutely amazing and the owner was A gem , but the server was very very very rude and not Accommodating she Prefered to take the route of least effort and putting their own sense of what is right , before taking a second reflect of their own actions and behaviour.as a restaurant s owner my self it s just so sad to see all this effort put towards food production go to waste with the behaviour of just one server please learn some serving etiquette .
The food was so good and the waitress was really nice and gave us good recommendations. I 100% recommend to go there.
Adorable low-key spot. Staff was nice and quick. Had the kafta sandwich and halloumi omelette delish!
Very nice place! And tasty food.
We loved this cozy and beautiful Mediterranean spot for breakfast. The food was amazing, especially the salmon egg Benedict and avocado toast. The shakshuka was a bit runny for our taste, but still delicious. The only downside was the long wait outside (35 minutes) due to the small size of the place. Parking was also a challenge, as there was only street parking available. However, we would definitely come back and recommend this place to our friends.
Has breakfast for the first time here and is was wonderful!!! Food lived up to expectations and the service was amazing!!!
Theres always a line out the door and its worth waiting. The salmon avocado toast is absolutely phenomenal. The service is on point and the Ashta is flawless and consistent.
Amazing food with decent Arabic fusion food. Very Canadinized Arabic food with very authentic herbs. Arabic coffee must try Egg shakshoka is another must Fresh squeezed orange juice and happy drinks too ;) Party of 3, date with wife and son Vegetarian options: Gee options like falafel and avocado toast Parking: Street parking
We had Shakshuka and Shish Tawook club sandwich for brunch. Both were delicious. The photo is of Shakshuka and looks weird because I keep forgetting to take pictures until Ive eaten half of my food. We had a beef kofta with the Shakshuka.
Food tastes great, very fresh. Great looking places, nice decor, very clean and inviting.
Nice spot with great service. Food was very tasty!
Delicious, traditional Mediterranean scratch diner. Fabulous Happy Goat coffee and lattes made to order. Excellent, friendly service. Definitely worth a stop for the Shakshuka. Excellent food and worth a trip from anywhere in the city! UPDATE: Been awhile since we were last there. The Shakshuka is still as delicious as ever! The lattés are fabulous and the service is speedy! Definitely worth going! Parking: Weekend free street parking or paid street parking Monday to Friday. Wheelchair accessibility: NOT Wheelchair accessible.
Wow this place was aesthetically beautiful! the food and the service was 10/10. So many tasty dishes on the menu it was hard to choose but definitely must try the shakshuka and the Mediterranean omelette.
I had Shish Sawook chicken sandwhich, and it tasted great. Ingredients were nicely combined together, and the chicken seasoning was awesome in a really nice bread.
Have you been to heaven ? Have their pancakes and that s as close you ll get to heaven ! Blissfully divine sweet bites of goodness melts in your mouth and your hearts skips a beat :)
The shakchouka was excellent but I found it a little expensive.
Great breakfast and brunch
A great discovery, enjoyed food & service very much!!!
The food is average with very limited meat choice. The portion is very small.
Amazing breakfast!!! Highly recommend chicken breakfast sandwich, Turkish coffee, avocado toast, etc.
Excellent breakfast - shakshuka and eggs benedict. Latte was so creamy.
Unreal breakfast in Ottawa. The avocado toast, breakfast chicken sandwich, and service was all great. Vegetarian options: Great options such as shaksuka and toasts for the vegetarian lovers out there.
Pretty decent brunch place that I ve never been to & only to because it was Mother s Day which the group of 4 of us had to wait a hour(but I m guessing that s because of the day we went) I had their classic breakfast which was pretty decent, but I felt like it could have personally could have had some beans & bigger fruit cup with a variety of berries. I also got the matcha latte and honestly for $6 and the little amount you get, not worth it. I ve been to many other places and you d get double the amount I did for the same value. I also couldn t help but notice tho, my mom found that their was an pretty excessive amount of mayo & even I found her sandwich had a lot and I like mayo myself. Not that the restaurant will likely listen to 1 person but maybe offer the mayo on or to the side. Just an idea. In all I guess you can t go wrong with this place but I still believe theirs other places in the city that are as good or better
One of my favourite brunch places! I love their avocado-labneh toast and their pancakes!
It was good - the avocado toast was tasty. The ashta pancake was a bit heavy but tasty nonetheless, Id opt to remove the second layer for a tastier experience, and the benedict was great. Parking: Street parking available, free depending on day/hour outside or business hours
No baby change tables. A great experience with friendly staff, and delicious food! But despite having high chairs available, no change tables were installed in either bathroom. While the business is not required to install diaper change tables (not a new build over 6,500 sq ft), it would be nice to see them install tables so there is a sanitary and safe place to change a babies diaper. Kid-friendliness: No baby change tables
We were visiting from Toronto and looking for some amazibg brunch places and this name popd up. This place has some great vibes and thanks to them that they squeezed us in as it was last minute thing. Place is busy so better get reservations. We ordered Aacado Sandwich, Cheese and Mushroom Omlette, Iced Tea with Oat milk, Jesmin Tea and oh yes Pancakes. Pancakes were just out of the world. There was something unique but still couldt figured out the difference. Its a must try. Please go and enjoy this amazing place and food!!!! I promise you wont be disappointed.
The Shakshuka had spectacular flavour. The pancakes felt a little dense and dry with the small amounts of sauce. Pricing felt very high for what we got.
Great small brunch spot serving delicious Lebanese-inspired dishes. The best part is their meticulous attention to detail, like bringing out a Turkish delight with your Turkish coffee, or perfectly placing the extra ashta you ask for on your ashta pancakes. You can tell the food here is made with love. And the service is terrific.
Had the classic break and was great! Awesome staff and great atmosphere!
Fantastic breakfast and outstanding service. Something on the menu for everyone and lots of healthy options. We received a warm welcome from Jack and flawless service from Liam.
The food at Mazarine is nothing short of amazing. The menu offers a diverse selection of dishes, each crafted with meticulous attention to detail and bursting with flavor. From the first bite to the last, the quality and taste are consistently exceptional. While the lineup may be off-putting to some, its a testament to the restaurants popularity and the quality of its offerings. However, the wait is undoubtedly worth it. The staff at Mazarine are attentive and professional, ensuring that every diner feels valued and taken care of. In addition to the outstanding food and service, the ambiance at Mazarine is inviting and sophisticated. The restaurant is tastefully decorated, creating an atmosphere that is both cozy and elegant. In summary, Mazarine Restaurant is a must-visit for any food enthusiast. Prepare to be blown away by the amazing food, impeccable service, and captivating ambiance. Just be sure to plan ahead and be patient, as the lineup is a testament to its well-deserved reputation.
Great place for a breakfast in Ottawa
Terrible experience
Nice restaurant and fair prices Vegetarian options: They have a lot of vegetarian options to choose from, but limited if you are vegan or have lactose intolerance. Food : 4/5 |
We had to wait for one hour to get a table. The food was ok but not a lot of variety.
The service is excellent and attentive, the food is simple with a mediterranean twist, good attention to detail and the prices are great. The only criticism I have is that the music was too loud and not the right vibe for brunch. I love a good 2000s banger but dont want to listen to Pitbull or Jlo while eating, esp at the volume that was playing. Could be a one off, but its annoying to have to compete with music to enjoy a conversation over food during daytime hours. Otherwise, this place is worth checking out.
Amazing!! Mango mimosas for days
Amazing food! You have to go here when in Ottawa. It s a corner shop closer to downtown. Lovely small space with just the right amount of seating.
Great atmosphere and amazing cappuccino
Vegetarian options: Vegetarian was at brunch with us, very much enjoyed their options. Food
Great breakfast, drinks/coffee and service!
Very cute brunch place, not very big, so be prepared to wait. Food was delicious
If youve ever been wanting to try shakshuka, this is the place to. Food is incredible and staff is friendly. I wish the place was bigger and waiting queues smaller!
This place has perfect Greek vibes and the food is delicious. I loved the interior and the vibes of this place.
Too small for the amount of people who want to eat there. We couldnt wait, we were heading to Sand Banks
Very delicious! They have very good choices for coffee! My iced blue lavender latte was yummy! The food was good too, I wished they had more choices and variety though. One downside was we had to wait 30 minutes for a table but it s usual for brunch places, since it had a small interior! Overall good experience and would go again!
The ashta pancakes are insane. Service is professional and warm
i love this restaurant
Great food, but hard to get a table. Wish the place was a bit bigger! Food
Love the simplicity of the ambiance and the food was so good. Worth a try!
Cute brunch spot with yummy Mediterranean food and great service. If youre in ottawa, definitely recommend this place!
Its puzzling how theyve received positive reviews on the food. The bread was dry, halloumi over salted, shakshuka tomatoes seemed canned, kofta was dry and watermelon was not fresh. Sharing my concerns with the waitress only garnered a simple apology, leaving me lost for words. Overall, the experience was disappointing. Do not recommend.
Thank you for the best service.
This is possibly the BEST BRUNCH in the WORLD! Do not miss the pancakes life choices!!! You will regret it. Food
This is the place we recommend most strongly to any guests we have in Ottawa. Its better than most other cool breakfast spots (Jax, Wilfs) not just in Ottawa but also in NYC and Montreal -- at a lower price. Mazarines has a tastefully curated seasonal menu that contains both well-executed safe and rarely found authentic palate options. On top of that, they have been excellent at catering to different dietary restrictions. Last but not least, their drinks are better than most cafes without even getting into the special inclusion of Turkish coffee. If you really need more convincing the decor is well coordinated and service level is very high. Being this good comes with one inescapable catch -- show up at 9, or get in line.
Despite its modest size, the ambiance is inviting and pleasant. The dishes are meticulously crafted with exquisite presentation, featuring exceptionally fresh ingredients. This establishment is an excellent brunch option.
Delicious brunch with tons of amazing dish options. Must try!
Lovely brunch spot in downtown area. Classic breakfast dish was good and price was fairly reasonable. Lots of other popular brunch dishes like avocado smoked salmon toast and pancakes available. Employees are friendly and helpful too!
Fav brunch place in town. Great bang for the buck too.
Food was good. Could have been more flavoured and seasoned but perhaps they are catering to the local crowd. Staff was very friendly. It s a small spot so there was a long line outside.
Went on Sunday, it was crowded and I had to wait a bit but it was worth the wait. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is nice. Service was neat and quick. A favorite added to my list.
Standard brunch fare, cute interior. Does not take reservations, pretty small indoor so expect a wait. It took us about 20 minutes to get seated, gets pretty busy over the weekend.
Went for brunch on a thursday, specifically for the shakshuka. Although it is a small restaurant, it is cozy and warm. My meal was perfectly cooked, the eggs were such to Perfection and the spice level was just right. Service was quick and friendly, with refills to our coffee exactly when we needed them. Next time, I will try their eggs benedict! Parking: Paid street parking is available, there is also a parking garage a few steps away. Wheelchair accessibility: There is no wheelchair accessibility. There are stairs to go up a couple of steps, but also that weird vestibule that does not accommodate the size of a wheelchair.
Small, friendly and still affordable neighborhood restaurant, in the city center. Courteous staff. We ate well there at brunch time, good choice of fusion dishes. It was a first and we will return!
OMG the Ashta pancakes were so good! Soft cream with scent of rose water, honey, and pistachio. We also enjoyed the Egg Benny and the hot chocolate. My 7 year old finished his plate and said We HAVE to come back here!
Its a small restaurant, with young staff that is very polite and says a lot of my pleasure like its a very cool word to say but doesnt give you good service. We had to ask for coffee after 15 min of being there. The menu is extremely limited, portions are very small, like tiny you need to order multiple items except the Ashta pancakes that are a good size and quite good. Having refills of coffee was almost impossible and we were told they needed the table about 10 min after we paid the bill no refill of coffee. I will NEVER go back there and will NOT recommend this place.
Every time I eat here the food is exceptional, the service is amazing and the whole experience is joyful. Recommend 10/10
Truly the best brunch spot in the city hands down! The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the staff are some of the friendliest people in the city. You can tell they take pride in their place. The food is flavourful, the coffee is rich, and the eggs are always perfectly cooked. They even do events by request, I had my wedding rehearsal at Mazarine and my guests still talk about the delicious food a year later! My favourite restaurant in the city
Enjoyed everything about this brunch spot!
Thank for the great service, food and the ambiance. Really enjoyed my food and will definitely come back
Arrived at Mazarine at 10:35 am today and was told at the gate that it would take around 15 mins or so to get a seat. While I understand it could get busy, I was standing outside in the rain for 45 mins and still didn t get a seat. I eventually left at 11:20 am. All this while, the person at the door never felt it was her duty to communicate or inform that it would take time. Please make sure the person at the gate is clear about the waiting time and doesn t mislead anyone to wait for hours when they are clearly prioritizing a preferred clientele of people. It is unfortunate that the welcome is not managed well. For someone visiting from Toronto or anywhere else, this is quite a let down. I am not rating any other aspect as I could not even enter the restaurant. Good luck!
Everything from the food to the service was amazing. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented, delicious & fresh. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves to have an exquisite breakfast/brunch experience. Can t wait to go back again! Food
The halloumi omelette was absolutely delicious! The service and atmosphere is top notch and very friendly. I recommend this place for a great brunch with a mediterranean twist.
Nice and cosy. Very friendly staff.
A good place for brunch. Special mention for the pancakes!
Im confused by the 5-star reviews... We went for brunch and it was very underwhelming. Portions were small and very average tasting, with zero effort put into presentation, just sort of messily thrown on the plate. The restaurant was bare, we had to ask for cutlery, as well as salt and pepper which werent on all tables. Maybe its really hit or miss??! Wont be back again to see :/
Great spot for amazing authentic Mediterranean brunch! Loved it
Shakshuka was great and it had that home made flavour. Would love to see a combo of hummus and shakshuka someday.
I can see why people patiently wait in line for brunch at this restaurant. They consistently provide excellent service and serve delicious food. My personal favorite is the halloumi omelette, and I cant forget to mention their fantastic bread!
Nothing but love here! Haven t been here in a while, and I m glad to be back. Service is just as amazing as my first visit! You can never go wrong with the shakshuka, Ashta pancakes, and Turkish coffee. Bring a lover and/or loved ones and you re guaranteed a great time filled with delicious food!!
Our favourite spot in the city. The menu changes and has never disappointed. Highly recommend!
The most delicious brunch spot that I make sure to go to when I visit Ottawa. A warm and welcoming atmosphere, with delicious food and beautiful kid servers. The owners are the friendliest and made sure that my daughters allergies were taken into serious account. Love love love this spot!!
Great spot with lovely food and wonderful service.
Fantastic food which is well worth the wait line
Great place for breakfast in Ottawa! Thank you for having us
Excellent ambiance and brushes but too long waiting time
I went to try this place. They told us it will take an hour. Almost 2 hours passes but never got a call. Waste of time.
Amazing food, great atmosphere, attentive staff. Will come again!!
After an hour long wait, we got our table. The food was good. Freshly squeezed orange juice was great.
Delicious and very popular spot for brunch. The service is great.
Small but cozy brunch restaurant. Food was great and portion was alright. Our server seemed little shy but kind. It was great to have hot food for a brunch. I would definitely go again. Go early if you don t like to wait.
Super cute spot ! Food was totally exceptional. I had a bit of a wait time for food but the quality experience for brunch made it worth my wait!
Pancakes were delicious breakfast was amazing. Portions were OK, its not a hungry man kinda place its more of a taste over quantity style restaurant. Lattes are definitely worth purchasing!
Vegetarian options: Avocado toast Food
Great spot for brunch. FYI if you get the Mimosas for two, be ready to leave feeling better than ever. Food
Amazing selection of brunch items and drinks!
Great food and staff!
