30 Metcalfe St, Ottawa, ON K1P 5L4, Canada
Contemporary cafe & eatery offering coffee drinks, French-style baked goods, sandwiches & desserts.
We are having breakfast here as suggested by our hotel next door. What a shame the 2 Croissants with their egg and bacon plus the ham and cheese fillings are Microwaved!!! Giving them a rubbery flat texture. It is Totally wrong for a bakery to ruin their own baked products. We expected a freshly baked warm crispy/flakey croissant with the hot filling placed in separate. Not much to ask from a Bakery!! Plus my Earl Grey tea turned out to be Vanilla tea?? how bad can they be Two stars for the coffee and vibe that's it.
We came late afternoon and took home the last loaf of bread, a blueberry walnut. The bread was fantastic. There was still a small selection of viennoiserie and beautiful small cakes/pastries. There was a large selection of sandwiches and lots of seating inside.
Really cute coffee spot downtown, everything looks delicious. The tiramisu lattee was also delicious! Recommend checking out 🙂
As a pastry chef, I am very particular with pastries and Le Moulin de Provence did not disappoint. My husband and I visited while we were in Ottawa and even went back a second time during our trip. A delicious selection of pastries and breads, there is something for everyone here.
The pastries look good and are probably more worth it. The coffee is decent too. But the food (sandwich and pea soup in my case) was very mediocre and overpriced. Would not recommend.
It was a really nice cafe to stop by during cold weather. The cafe was really pretty and nice. But the shelves with pastries were half empty. Also a lot of things were crowded in corners. The food tasted pretty good, but it was all cold. The staff was pretty nice. Overall a good cafe.
Their croissants are always excellent! The prices here are targeted towards tourists but coming for a croissant every once in a while is worth it. The parliament location is very trendy and cozy compared to their Byward location. I would recommend this location if you want to sit down and relax for a little while enjoying your pastries and drink. Their coffee is hit or miss but I love their hot chocolate! Check it out next time you’re in the area!
This is my new favorite tea place!!! They have a great choice of tea and if you order a large …it’s a personal sized tea brew !!!! They use real tea leaves and the flavour is fresh and tasty….. However, their coffee does not seem to be as good ….. especially they run of of brew easily and they do not make more in mid afternoon …. and you are only left with espresso shots or others …… the moka white chocolate was not so hot nor great. Furthermore, their pastries are more expensive than other places ….. maple eclair $6???? Decor decor is retro with subway tiles all over wall so clean and chic …. But the chair choices makes the place look and feel cold and unfriendly. Overall, I will come back here for sipping tea but will avoid buying pastry here cause they are overpriced and not that great quality.
Kid-friendliness: Si Food
Kinda expensive for the quality. The pistachio cookie had not pistachio flavour at all. The creme in one or our pastries was not done well, as it wasn t smooth at all.
Nice downtown cafe. Was busy on a Sunday morning surprisingly. The almond croissant was overfilled with syrup and not very tasty. However the ambiance was nice, and the place was clean.
Took an almond croissant back to our hotel and when we opened it we found a dripping wet and mushy croissant. Walked back to get a replacement and the second croissant was as stiff as a board and crunchy. Coffee was good, but avoid the croissants!
Nice patisserie
Breakfast ham, omelette and cheese croissants looked to be microwaved so werent as crispy as wed expected. Earl Grey tea had no elements of bergamot, overwhelmingly vanilla - even the aroma hits you as vanilla. Disappointing start to the day.
A French bakery and pastry shop in the same place! The place in downtown Ottawa!
Great variety of pastries, but the Mille feuille had a fridge taste to it and was a bit soft, so Im guessingit was old. I expected better quality
Great place to grab coffee and pastries downtown. Have tried their mocha and its been consistently good. Theyve lunch options as well and the seating arrangement has plenty of power ports if you want to work from there. The times I have, I generally found it to be quiet and respectful.
They didnt get my order right and wanted a tip before I had paid or received a service. Wasnt until after this I noticed the order was wrong. Coffee OK, food not very nice.
Decent food, the place had dirty and shabby glass doors. It was a rainy day and water was raining from the ceiling. The girls at the counter were nice
Latte coffee and very ordinary sandwich, there are better places around.
An excellent bakery and pastry shop to discover in Ottawa Moulin de Provence KD is a real gem for lovers of good bakery and pastry products in Ottawa. Ah I see, thanks for the clarification. Here is a Google review for Le Moulin de Provence KD, which is actually a bakery-pastry-sandwich shop in Ottawa: 4 stars - An excellent bakery and pastry shop to discover in Ottawa Moulin de Provence KD is a real gem for lovers of good bakery and pastry products in Ottawa. I went there and was not disappointed. Their artisanal breads are delicious, with a very nice crust and soft crumb. Their pastries are also a treat, especially their croissants and pain au chocolat. But what impressed me the most were their pastries. Their pies, their cakes, their éclairs... Everything is homemade with quality ingredients. Its a real pleasure for the taste buds. Their sandwiches are also excellent, well stocked and with very good products. The setting is pleasant and the service is always very friendly. In short, a sure bet for enjoying yourself in Ottawa. I recommend Le Moulin de Provence KD!
Cozy cafe with relaxing vibes. The coffees and pastries were good.
Surprisingly mediocre croissants for a place that calls itself a French bakery. Mediocre coffee too, and not cheap.
Service was ok, the coffee drinks were not drinkable, the food less the average.
Our hot chocolate was cold. The iced tea tasted funny! The cashier spoke a little quickly, I asked to repeat slowly but she repeated just as quickly. The pastries look nice but they have fruit flies on them.
A regular place. Good for the quiet room
Worst croissant in Ottawa. Expensive and mediocre sandwich. To avoid.
Amazing and beautiful cafe near Canada Parliament!
My group and I were not impressed with the quality of the sandwiches. Very basic and stingy with the ingredients. Not worth the cost. For the price, I was expecting something of better value. Will not be visiting again for lunch. Their baked goods such as breads and pastries are definitely more worth it. Food
Food was ok, and service was slow. Staff are really nice but just need to be organized better. In hot weather, is not very pleasant to eat inside.
Very expensive and room not maintained or even dirty. Table not cleaned Correct pastries. Friendly counter staff. No interest for me.
Discusting and old dessert
Almond croissants are so good here!! Came two days in a row. They have good breakfast sandwiches too
Lovely coffee, great pastries, my wife and I were lucky to find service in English, French and Spanish. Price was fair
Sandwich was honestly gross and quite overpriced. Coffee was okay. Great service though and spacious location.
Visiting Ottawa and found this beautiful place. The food and coffee were a delight!!
Coffee was ok. Service was average at best. The croissant bacon breakfast sandwich was absolutely the worst thing I have ever been handed in any establishment. Wouldnt have fed the meat to a dog. Do not recommend. Wish I had not left a tip.
Picked up a sandwich for lunch, turkey and cheese baguette. They call it a baguette but its the size of a demi baguette, maybe. Bread is very soft, not crusty like a baguette. I dont know what kind of cheese was in it. Heavy on the mayo and a little piece of lettuce. Thats it. They dont have a press or way to toast it, just an oven. $11.99, includes a bottle of oasis juice or can of pop. Its fancy, modern, and clean inside. Prime location. Pastries looked good in their glass display cases. The staff behind the counter were friendly and attentive, genuinely nice.
Service was slow and no one spoke French. One bathroom with constant lineup and food was ordinary.
Best scones!
Great nice and cozy place
Prices on online menu run 2-4$ short of what it actually costs. Can t speak on the actual quality of the food as I couldn t justify paying 7.95 before tax for a skinny looking eclair. The lady who greeted me was condescending, guessing it s because I m clearly not a government worker or from the parliament but that shouldn t matter considering I was polite and intended to pay for my food as anyone else who chooses to go there. When I mentioned online prices were much lower and suggested updating them she said that maybe at some other location you saw lower prices but no not here here it s always been 7.95 which honestly, any Lebanese bakery will have eclairs that look 10 times better for a third of that price, and so far I haven t had a single unpleasant experience at any of them. While the food looked alright, there was nothing about it that justified the prices, especially when you take the service into account as well.
Perfect for a quick bite when you are not that hungry but want to have something in your belly to keep you going :) Loved the vegetable omlette croissant with melted cheese !!!! Yummmmm
Great place to go with you family after visit the Parliament. Lot of space and good service. Not expensive.
The place looks like a high school cafeteria, no cozy café vibes to be seen anywhere. The boulangerie side had like 4 items and the food side has a bunch of ready made sandwiches, non of which look appetizing. I took small plate of potato salad (that tasted like the generic stuff you can get anywhere) and some kind of latte drink that tastes ok but nothing amazing. This cost me 20$!!! Nothing impressive there and highly overpriced.
It taste like a chewed up sandwich
Sugar and grains are toxic to your health. They are the main cause of 100% of diseases.
Meh! Is a tourist trap. There are much better bakeries downtown. Bread and sons for example
The atmosphere is pretty well, highly recommend for a visiting!
I ve had a lot of almond croissants in my life and so has my mum, this was by far THE WORST one I ve ever had.
Simple sandwiches, which are fine, but nothing particularly impressive. And for the price, possibly overvalued. There are not a lot of choices for vegetarians. The side salads are fine, but, again, nothing much to write home about.
The affogato was good.
I truly expected much much more out of the place. I was given weird dirty looks for some reason?? The service was extremely confusing and slow. The food itself was beyond mediocre. Overall a pretty cruddy experience considering its supposed to be a more luxurious cafe, compared to timmies which at that point was looking like a better choice...
Unfortunately pretty bad food. The staff is friendly, but tables were dirty. The worst scone I ve ever try. Hard as a rock. The sandwich had soggy lettuce. I wouldn t recommend.
Paninis to avoid. Salad for several days, almost nothing in it and very expensive. Paninis are really expensive for what you get. The salad was clearly not fresh anymore.
I went there on Saturday around 2 p.m. The counters were almost empty and I waited in line for at least 10-15 minutes before I could order. My small cappuccino cost $4.90. Its expensive for what it was, and the atmosphere doesnt add value.
Great coffee and pastries, the atmosphere is very relaxing. Its a perfect place to start your day Food : 5/5
The staff were pleasant and welcoming and were happy to explain any desserts. Ive gone in the morning and the afternoon and disappointed with the pastries. I got the Jesuite once and the Apple danish the other time I visited. The pastries werent flaky at all, were very bready, and didnt taste as fresh as I would like for the price. The shelves were mostly empty of pastries as well. Theres lots of seating and the layout is very appealing however they do play club music quite loudly sometimes. I cannot speak on their coffee or sandwiches, but I dont think I would come again.
My favorite downtown coffee shop. Large and bright. Great place for quiet private conversation.
Great pastry shop in downtown Ottawa. Most pastries are around $6, and they are simply delicious! Must try.
Nice service. The drinks are pretty good but on the pricier side. The one downside is the atmosphere (Saturday afternoon). The music playing wasn t ideal (ex: ghostbusters theme etc) and there were lots of screaming children running around. If you re looking for a calm place to catch up, study, or get work done definitely avoid weekends and opt for when kids are in school.
Good selection of deserts and baked goods. The place and the staff are nice. The croissants are tasty but are wildly inconsistent (some are half the size of others). The cappuccino is okay. But the sandwiches are crazy overpriced, especially considering how abysmal they are (a tomato and brie sandwich had an okay amount of brie but just 2 thin slices of tomato, which shouldnt even happen if the tomato is just a topping, let alone the main ingredient). I would be back for dessert but not much else.
The most bland tuna sandwich and chicken noodle soup I have ever had in my life. Even the canned soup from the grocery store tastes much better. The soup was rally runny and just plain water and some vegetables floating with a bit of salt. Literally. The sandwich was basically just tuna and mayo on a bun. Like??? Come on you re in downtown Ottawa.
Good, tasty food, reasonable prices.
Amazing place in the heart of Ottawa. Many different options, from bread to sandwiches to desserts. There s a great selection of both hot and cold drinks, which makes it ideal for a visit any season. Would definitely come again.
Felt like I was in mini France!
I really enjoy this Cafe. The staff is great. The other day they made me an egg, ham, and cheese croissant. The English breakfast tea in pots is good too.
Really tasty, great service, great morals Id be happy to go back Food
Beautifully decorated with amazing staff. Didnt love my almond croissant, but no ones perfect. Would definitely go back based on the convenient location alone
Came in for a quick meal in the late afternoon. Ordered a few sandwiches and a pickle soup The sandwiches were heated up but still remained cold on the inside. Very basic ham and cheese sandwich. The pickle soup was really not appetizing and tasted like chopped up pickles boiled in water. It lacked any savoury taste at all and was quite sour from the pickles.
Overall, the desserts are poor quality: the place looks great as well as the patisserie but looks can be deceiving . I really wanted to love this place and even had given it a second chance. The flavours tasted very artificial. The whipped cream was some kind of fat that sticks to your tongue even at room temperature. It s just gross. I know good pastry and was disappointed here. Two *very small* pastries cost over $15.
The place is pleasant, the staff welcoming, the coffee and the pastries delicious! The only annoying thing is the toilet, which remained out of service for days!
Food and coffee were good.
Awesome bakery - everything you can wish for, tastes like its directly from Provence... Great location, quick service, lots of room to stretch out.
We went there twice. First time on Saturday and food was alright, but when we came back on Sunday the pastries we got did not taste fresh. The service was also not great, my 9 yo likes to order food by herself, but the staff ignored her a few times and served other customers first.
Croissant, Cappuccino and cookie, Toddler loved the cookie and croissant
The place looks nice from the outside, especially in the winter, but once you get inside it s dirty and not organized. We took coffees and pastries. The pastries were not bad (good but not as we expected seeing the place s french style and specialty) but the coffee was one of the worst espressos I have ever drunk! I gave two stars rating because I liked the service tho, but was deeply disappointed by the place itself and the coffee quality!
Nice desserts, but it is always crowded, and they re out of the desserts I want lol! Still on my list of places to get a dessert when on the run. Giving 3 stars coz the desserts I want are always out of stock by the middle of the day.. Recommended dishes
Lovely patisserie. Bright and airy on a Sunday morning. Lovely apricot custard and almond croissant. The coffee was excellent.
Extremely overpriced not fresh(prob 3days old) food. Absolutely terrible experience.
Good coffee. Overpriced for the size. Disastrous pastries.
Shortcomings: Menu options, taste. Strengths: Location
For French bakery lovers, it is a satisfactory dupe. I had a « pain au chocolat » with hot chocolate and it was good enough. The place aesthetics are really good, I was there on a early Saturday of February and it wasn t crowded which made the service faster.
Not fresh product!
Service was too slow, only 2 baristas were working. Waited about 20min for 2lattes.
Chocolate croissant was ok, a bit stale tasting. Coffee was also just ok. Service was efficient and really kind. Decor makes best use of a very strange space (lots of support beams, etc.) Good view of Metcalfe Street. Out of all cafés in the city, even within walking distance of Parliament, this one is pretty mid. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options for lunch, pastries, etc. Didnt see any vegan options. Wheelchair accessibility: Saw a motorized wheelchair user enter easily. Space between tables is harder to navigate. Lots of tables in the front to bump into.
Tasty pastries. The lemon mirangue & the opera were exceptional!
Was a great experience
Peaceful atmosphere
Best iced tea I had. They have so many options and flavors. Food
Nothing to do with French products: the bread is hard and the chocolatines taste like cardboard.
We picked this patisserie hoping to find nice, fresh, baked goods.... Was disappointed with the Jesuit and the coffee was mediocre...
Its the first time we go to this coffeeshop, and we will not come back. The pastries were not fresh at all, the chocolate almond croissant was stale and the millefeuille was dry. The lattes were good, but would not recommend it though.
Super fast service. The cheese cake is delicious.
Wonderful pastries and really nice dark roast coffee
Alright cafe, sandwiches are frozen not fresh, bakery is impressive
Came in for lunch on a weekend. Nothing seemed fresh. Have been here a few times before and it was ok but not a hidden gem. Their pastries and bread seem to be very good.
Great place! Great food! Great people!!!
$15.00 for a stale baguette sandwich was ridiculous $4.50 for a flat white which half got spilled putting the lid on the flimsy cup I was told by employee that she could make me another 1 but it would cost me another $4.50 wow No wonder there were no customers inside
The worst croissant of my life. And it cost $3.95. This is theft.
Great service but way too expensive for what it is.
Great selection of pastries, coffees, and teas! Kids enjoyed the pumpkin cookies, croissants, and palmatiers. Great coffee as well! Kid-friendliness: Staff were very friendly towards the kids and they enjoyed their time.
Good 1. WiFi is super fast 2. nice stuff like everywhere in Canada Things need to be improved: 1. Portions of sandwiches on display are larger than what is served 2. heese cake was served half frosen, so Ive got stomach upset after
Authentic french bakery. Really yummy baked goods
The team is friendly and I love their baked goods and café drinks. I don t personally enjoy their lunch options, but I go very often for the coffee and a croissant.
My lunch was a rip-off. At $13 for a ham and cheese sandwich, I expect a big more than a single wafer thin slice of ham, desperately spread over the bread. I might as well have just ordered bread. The soup was cold - I asked for it to be heated up and it was bland. I paid over $22 with tip and felt completely robbed. I understand inflation and all but this is day-light robbery. Also in the summer there were flies over the pastries. Its a NO
Amazing place, top notch service, and delicious coffee and pastries. 5 Will definitely come back for more. Food
I have to say this is a nice spot. I havent eaten here. Only had coffee. But it seems like a really beautiful place to relax. And I definitely plan on eating here sometime soon. Btw the coffee is really good. Puts Timmys to shame . So at least I can recommend that!!
Very friendly costumer service and a very nice place to seat and enjoy. I ordered a coffee and a croissant but my coffee was very cold and the croissant was not a croissant it was more like a bread but a very beautiful place Food
Nice place, well lit on Metcalfe St and Queen St. Limited washroom unfortunately. This place has changed slightly compared to when it opened. Update June 25th 2023: Very slow service once person serving the entire place cash, bakery and coffee. It is unfair to have one person working like that and customers waiting. Update December 2nd 2023: A disaster although coffee aas good croissant and chocolatine were hard like if they were from yesterday or day before I did not complain there but Ive thrown both Chocolatine I bought.
Two different occasions I went there, the internet never work. It s not that I was there to study but a guy who was using computer said the plug didnt work either. It s not a place to study or web browse. It s not that crowded, so I like it. Probably alright to sit with friends and chat. The food, hmmm have had better somewhere.
I really like this place for coffee and pastries. the staff is always friendly and attentive. Today, however, I decided to try one of their sandwiches, the tuna one. I m very disappointed because it s more bread than tuna, it also doesn t have any veggies or flavor, and it was $15! Overpriced for lunch.
Stuffy, and unwelcoming. The cafe itself is warm and beautiful, however it s full of people in suits and laptops. I felt like I was at a financial advisory convention or a case conference for a class action suit. I would have sat in and enjoyed my breakfast but the atmosphere was offsetting. if this is your crowd it s a thumbs up. This is not a place to enjoy a book.
Our favourite cafe in downtown. Can not wait till re opening. Miss my Nutella Latte and almond croissant.
Horrible
The shortbread cookies are amazing!! Service also great.
Would definitely not recommend. Much better places with friendlier people
Amazing delivery to the ottawa hospital staff of these baked goods and more. Incredibly delicious.
Very disappointed by my visit (Sunday lunchtime), the sandwich (Philly steak) was dry, no condiments in an industrial bread. The shelves were almost empty. No pastries. Not up to my expectations for a French-inspired bakery.
When we visited today, the coffee was good, as were the pastries. The service was bad, if not execrable. We will not return unless this changes.
It was a beautiful place and place. We got latte and mocha. the display of our coffees was sloppy. we got eclairs for dessert and it was stale. Also, spoons and napkins were not in the service. nevertheless we had a good time. Our little baby loved the environment.
Stopped in to have a latte and a tea. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was lovley
A smaller more office oriented branch of the main store in Byward market. Offers wide variety of beverages along with a few quick-bite snacks.
Such a great spot for a delicious baked good
They need new recipe for scones! Not to my liking, too sweet, too hard, not a classic scone. Service a little slow, waaay to long to make cappuccino. No self serve coffee/tea condiments (cream, milk, etc), if they re busy hard to interrupt them to get finishing touch. On the good side, lively tea, generous serving. I would return but my selection would be very careful and ask for everything I need while they are serving me.
Beautiful cafe so close to the Parliament. Order and double espresso, a latte and two pastries for just under $20. Service was prompt and courteous.
I think if people realized what this Cafe has been through in the past year, they would be much more supportive. The service has always been good here.
The sandwich bread must have been several days old because it was already hard. Its not really a restaurant, more of a bakery where you can eat on site. The pastries we had were of average quality (scones). Really high prices for the quality. To flee.
Great staff - very good food, bread and pastries - superb location - another independent business that deserves our support, plus they openly stand with Ukraine!
Staff was helpful, but, although we sat inside, they did not have time to put drinks in China cups instead of to-go ones
Very good bakery with really delicious cakes. The location is perfect near the Parliment. And of course WiFi is also offered.
Not bad exactly, very nice interior. But I was charged $13.55 for 1 prepackaged ham & cheese croissant. Thats a little overpriced in my opinion.
The coffee ice cream tastes really good!
Food is pretty good but very expensive and prices are not labelled clearly.
Decent selection and quality with great service
Incredibly expensive for moderately tasty baked goods. The emoji cookie decorations are great which is why I go there.
Delicious food, good coffee
Beautiful pastry with lots of good things. Beautiful breads, and very good desserts, beautiful place, beautiful display.
The almond croissant was excellent, and the location is very centric since it is only a couple metres away from parliament hill. It is a bit pricier compared to other cafés, but I would say it s worth going at least once !
My favorite meeting place downtown! Good coffee, sumptuous dessert offerings and friendly service, always with a smile. I hope they would stay open later.
Pick a Starbucks instead
A friend and l went there yesterday on Thursday afternoon. While the girl at the cash was very friendly and helpful, 2 others were standing around with their cellphones in their hands. The place was dirty, all the tables were dirty and the floors had crumbs and spilled coffee all over. We tried to sit in the back corner by the windows and asked one of the employees to wipe the table please. While he said yes, no problem & with a smile, he did not show up. We decided to take a seat outside. Coffee and tea were excellent, nicely served but the black forest cake we shared was a complete disappointment to the two of us Black Forest Girls (we are from Germany). the bit of pastry was as tough as rubber, the cream was artificial, and there was one cherry in the centre.....It truly felt like artificial food, ready to last for days! For a downtown cafe in the centre of our capital this does not look good and l would be ashamed to take visitors there. l would not spend my money there again.
Fresh and innovative filled panini and croissants, friendly service.
Friendly staff!! delicious espresso! lot of space to sit and relax.
Great place to have croissant and latte!
Staff is nice, good food, drinks are excellent
Friendly service and the croissant/iced americano/iced vanilla latte was decent. Great sitting area.
Service was friendly, everything else sucks. Bland cheesecake, hard dry bread, ham and cheese for $11 and it had one slice of ham. Way overpriced and bad food. Atmosphere was ok and beverages were decent. Recommended dishes
Meh! We went for a Cortado and two Ice Teas (cant remember the name exactly - one was cucumber something). Ice Teas were fine. Cortado - one of the worst Ive had. Too much water. Spoiled the entire taste. The space is quite big and good to relax and work/chill. The cleanliness was good. Parking spots nearby. The staff was nice. Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options in the menu Dietary restrictions: Non-dairy milk available
Great coffee! Really nice Baristas! Such special Danish Pastries.
Meh. Very overpriced. $18 for a plain ham and cheese croissant and a tiny, ok chai latte.
Excellent coffee, fall harvest latte 5*
Magnificent little Café... succulent snack menu
UPD: sadly, the place has gone worse in quality. A lot desserts are nice looking, but have very bland same-alike taste. Coffee was too bitter, I suspect barista didnt clean the machine properly before use. Tasty desserts, good coffee, cozy atmosphere. Just dont take caramel eclair, trust me this sugar/cream boost is too hard to handle.
As I work nearby, I have come here many times to buy baked goods and (less frequently) eat lunch. I have found many of their items to be quite good, like their lemon tarts, cookies, and potato salad. Other items have been so-so. For instance, during my latest visit I found the green pea soup to be very watery, while my tomato and brie sandwich was just OK. Overall, this is a perfect place to have a coffee, treat, or small dish like a salad, but there are better places in the area for those who want a heartier meal. Vegetarian options: They have some vegetarian options, like salads, tomato/brie sandwich, and on occasion non-meat soups.
I tried this place twice. I got a panini, cookies and a latte. Both times the food quality wasn t great and it is VERY expensive. The panini was very small and flavourless. The cookie was not bad but nothing impressive. Very blend food and both time the service was rude. Avoid at all costs.
The server and I were speaking about the panini press. I asked her to press a BBQ chicken sandwich. Instead she heated in the turbofan, so the bread was hot and the chicken inside was cold. It was supposed to have red onion, however there were two skinny strands of onion on a baguette, so saucy, I couldnt taste anything but a mouthful of cold BBQ sauce. I wont be coming back lol .
No service in French the two times I went there. Ironic isnt it, with a name like that?
My boyfriend and I were traveling, service is ok but danish and blueberry turnover were out of date, must expired for so long, we found our danish has green mould, and we changed for raspberry danish, such a mistake. They gave us diarrhea and our stomached all day!!!!!!!!! DON T GO THERE!!!!!!!
Very nice reverse coffee
One of the worst oat latte I ve ever tasted. I wonder if the barista made a mistake in the espresso:milk ratio. The latte was gritty with yucky after taste, and the froth was unbearable look at. The place was dirty from tables to display counters. I m only giving them 2 stars for the chocolate almond croissant.
Extremely overpriced, why is one scone $5? It was tasty, but difficult to justify.
Fresh sandwiches.
Absolute garbage. $20 for a small sandwich and a cookie. And by small I mean just about the length of my hand and didnt even have real cheese or much filling, but somehow this sandwich is worth $12. They warmed up the sandwich but it was still frigid inside. Complete waste of money and the staff just sit around chatting. 0/10 would not recommend. If Id had time to go somewhere else I would have walked right out the door but I was very hungry so I paid, but will never set foot in there again.
Spacious coffee shop. good variety of food but the quality of food was fair.
Well located, pleasant place!
Great downtown coffee shop and bakery.
Great experience on a quiet Sunday morning, very quick service and very friendly. Pastries were delicious and good sizes. Id highly recommend giving it a try
Good ambiance and good service.
