The food taste good enough but the portion is really small. I even asked again if this is right and they said yes. I was surprised how small portion it gave me. Other bourdon gives way more and tastier. Im disappointed
If you want to enjoy the food from this restaurant, I recommend going to the one in Rideau Mall. The food tastes much better, the servings are larger, and the overall quality is superior. Sometimes the food at St. Laurent tastes stale, and the prices are different too. The Rideau Mall location is cheaper, and you'll also receive better customer service.
I found a cockroach in my meal! Absolutely discusting! Never will i ever eat there again!
I hadn't been here in so long due to not working in the area anymore. But I used to eat here often for lunch. Food was fantastic, portions were large and well worth the price, and service was exceptional! So, I was in the area, and craved the bourbon chicken. Placed my order with the server, noticed the serving containers had shrunk, lol. I get my order...now I didn't think I had to watch how much of the rice and chicken she put in, due to my previous experiences, which were always generous. But, I didn't think the $18 meal with a drink, that I paid for in a tiny container, was practically filled with rice, and 12 small pieces of bourbon chicken. Rice is a "side" not a "main" it's called "Bourbon St. Grill", not "Bourbon St. Rice House with a Side of Grill". I was Not impressed to say the least! Now, if it's new owners...PLEASE! talk to the previous owner. He made the food always delicious, the service was great, and the portions were always worth the money! Hopefully things change. Now, I do have to be in the area again, so I'm going to have another go at it, to see if it was a fluke. If so, I'll change this review. Otherwise, disappointment stands, and recommend people to eat elsewhere.
Food didn’t have quality. They are not generous at all. They barely put meat. You ask for more they say get two items. I upgraded to two items but they took off some meat and added another kind of chicken. So basically same amount Of meat you just pay if you want another flavour. Sad because it could be a good place to eat if some changes were made.
First time there and the food was absolutely incredible. No complaints at. Very friendly staff as well. Highly recommend
At 16,70$ way too many noodles that tastes kind of strange and a bunch of broccoli and one piece I said one piece or slice of carrot and some sweet and sour pork. Way overpriced! As for utensils, they gave you one very flimsy plastic fork. I could not puncture the broccoli stem the carrot or even the the peppers with the fork. They did not provide a knife to cut up the broccoli or the sweet and sour pork. At times I've been accused of having a big mouth, but even with my mouth I would have trouble trying to swallow some of the broccoli or the pork whole. See the attached pictures. What really set me off was the price of a 500 mL bottle of Coke at 2,79$ plus taxes. Then when I went to pay with my credit card I was given 4 options for a tip! Three of those options were percentages and the fourth was other, there was no choice for leaving no tip so I put in a zero tip. Remember I am at a food court at a shopping centre and not at some restaurant. Strange but I ended up spending more here than I did at Dollarama.
Louisiana Chicken is quite good but not spicy enough. **ate here again on July 28. The Louisiana chicken is now spicy and delicious. But somehow the chicken is a bit dry today. I order d a small side order of noodles for $2.49. It’s tasty, totally worth it. I’ll return to eat here again for sure.

As usual when trying a new place, I ordered their namesake dishes. A touch expensive but everything was excellent - properly cooked, tasty and generous in quantity
quality has gone down. Chicken is hard and rubbery. they also used to have Cajun chicken that they stopped very disappointed.

Last 2 times I ate here it was pretty bad. The meat they use is terrible. I took a few bites and that was all I could stomach. It tasted like it would make me sick. There s lots of places in the food court, don t waste your money here.

I came here a few years ago at the invite of another. Never went before because I feared it would be spicy! I was wrong and missed out on some great food. I always have the same thing. Bourbon Street chicken, noodles, broccoli, and green beans. The food is sooooo tasty. Its not spicy at all. It has become one of my favorite places to go! Had dinner there last night. Always good!! There was a long line-up, and only one staff member serving food and working the cash. When the men serve out front, you get a larger portion!!

My friend and I both ordered combo #1 with broccoli. After eating half of it, my friend pointed out that his broccoli had something crawling inside. After examing my broccoli, I also found something crawling in my broccoli. You have ruined it for me, I will never eat vegetables from fast food restaurants ever again.
There were worms in my broccoli?????! I CALLED THE HEALTH INSPECTOR. This business is disgusting

I was surprised to see so many changes in the meats they offered. It has been awhile since Ive been, and I remember why now. Not surprising they dont offer samples anymore, because this is disgusting. Terrible business plan. Youll get customers once and then nobody will return. Just avoid like the plague and eat anywhere else

Without hesitation! Its fast, good and well served. Great value for money. There are quite a few choices. The sweet and sour pork is really good. The spring rolls at the top. The peppered beef is very peppery and the bourbon chicken, sweet/salty, very soft! To do again very quickly!
sweet chicken is good but too sweet when you eat more than 3 pcs and the food is a bit cold, and the mashed potato it s really sour

I ordered the veggie combo the noodles where very fine over cooked had a weird taste to them the noodles arent even quality noodles. Had nothing added to them ex onion, bean sprouts, most places added them to it.The broccoli, zucchini, carrots where very hard not even cooked at all..The spring rolls was cold. Very poor quality food wouldnt recommend this place. Dont take time to put effort into there food cheap food small portions would recommend rideau centre over this place. The only nice thing was the lady was polite.

The name bourbon street grill grabbed my attention for my favourite alcoholic beverage is bourbon. This restaurant has the best tasting chicken beyond the other restaurants in the mall. The flavour explains it all. I highly suggest this restaurant and will be coming back again.

Hello, I am currently enjoying myself at this Chinese restaurant! Well-filled plates and the quality of the food and its cooking were frankly appreciated I recommend! PS: a plus for French tourists, one person speaks French
Sauce was too sweet and everything was swimming in it. Tasty, average noodles and the blackened chicken that was freshly made was ok. Rice was mushy, flavours were really just too sweet and nothing else. Not upset with it- the value is pretty good. But i wont go back.

I was just looking around for a good option for some light snacks when the girl at the counter asked me to taste a sample of some sweet chicken, which was good. Then I thought of having some meal there. There are 3 types of combos available. Combo 1 - 1 veg and 1 non veg Combo 2 - 2 vegs and 1 non veg Combo 3 - 1 veg and 2 non vegs All comes with rice or noodle. I took combo 3. She said I could take even rice and noodle both instead of only one. For veg I took corns and for non veg I took backend chicken and fish. Probably more than one chicken options can also be merged if youre taking combo 1 or 2. Quantity was real good. It was quite well for my dinner. Taste was not as good I was expecting and every item was too oily. Rice or noodle doesnt have any taste. Chicken and corn were good. Fish was okay. serveuse was courteous and prompt. Overall good experience.
