Bad experience. Manager are not good. Specially anu chopra. She is very rude and not supportive. She wasn't gave me paystubs and also the availability form. When I bought meal manager wasn't gave me code. You feel like racism.
Loved the service and how quickly and in sync the employees worked with one another. I was just let down by how this certain location has taken away the soda machine and free refills out of order that is my only complaint about this MacDonald's restaurant.
I was here the morning of Sunday Nov 3, the staff working had little to no understanding of English or French. They were unfamiliar with the menu items and asking simple questions and ordering proved quite difficult. The staff tried telling one customer no ham till after 11am like it was a lunch and dinner only menu item when he tried to order a ham and egg mc muffin. I had to point to the picture on the menu of the egg mc muffin and tell them the piece of meat on it was called ham... and to order the gentleman a egg mc muffin they responded by saying but he said ham and egg, still not understanding what that meant and then repeated we dont serve ham until AFTER 11am. This went on for another 5 minutes. They were unaware of what McDonald's monoply was and what items were like a hasbrown. They had to ask the one staff who seemed to be in charge what things are in some other language. The staff was friendly and after a struggle the food was prepared just fine don't get me wrong. But an understanding of english or French should be a prerequisite for working here.
Why is the upstairs is NEVER open in this restaurant? It looks like it is reserved for employees to hang out, while customers are required to eat and drink in a windowless dark place downstairs. Do better.
This McDonald's is on the average side and tends to be busy, especially in the morning. It needs to improve its service and cleanliness. I usually visit for breakfast, as the coffee is generally good, and the breakfast offers fair quality, quantity, and price. However, the quality and quantity of lunch and dinner have declined over the past few years, while prices have increased a lot.
Poutine was awesome! However, the dinning room closes at 10:00pm NOT 24 hours. additionally we were there at 9:26 pm and they were locking up the gate to the dinning area. Very disappointed as when we ordered the dinning area was open so by the time we got our food (which was a long wait) we had no where to sit and so had to find a place to sit on Sparks St. Maybe they should update their signs!
Only had drinks but they were not good. Milkshake was not think and didn’t taste like vanilla. The crush drinks were way too sweet and sickly. Threw them all away. Total waste rod money. Ordered via the kiosk, but our number didn’t appear on screen. Tried to speak to staff but it was like I was invisible. No one wanted to acknowledge me. Do not bother with this McDonalds
My daughter and I frequent this location over the years we have seen the quality and customer service decline rapidly. Everytime we visit we are left angered and confused. To start mangers do not know how to greet customers slamming orders rolling eyes scoffing ect ect, employees not having a basic reading and comprehension of English makes our experience much more frustrating. Now I understand with the influx of foreign workers this issues is unavoidable but it makes a very difficult to order there. Often times not understanding what we are saying and putting the wrong item on the order and then when we tried to correct the issue made they don’t understand and refuse to fix it. For instance McMuffins are my favourite often my daughter gets it without egg the very common sausage McMuffin the employees Everytime time serve with egg and or burn the muffins or don’t toast them at all I’m assuming poor training is the reason behind it. That brings us to today my daughter and I wanted to 6 nuggets and large fry my daughter order at 4:07 and receive the order at 4:25pm now I understand long wait times when it’s busy but this store is mismanaged having employees cleaning when the screen is full of orders or having no sense of assembly to get orders out quickly and efficiently. My daughter watched the nuggets sit under the heat lamp for over 20 mins finally getting the order she asked for fresh ones and the nuggets were not fresh infact I would guess left in the heating cabinet for over an hour I worked in the services industry in no way is this acceptable for any restaurant the nuggets were dry cold and hard as rocks I’m really disappointed by this location and even more sad this is a representation of Canadian McDonalds with it being so close to the capital. I really hope change is made.

Worst experience of our stay in Canada in August 2024! The employee refused to heat a baby dish because it is not his policy! But a baby, who is not even a year old, is not going to eat a hamburger! And yet we had ordered a menu + ice cream for the two of us. If we had known about it before, we would have gone to eat in another restaurant! Kid-friendliness: Restaurant not suitable for young children!

Last week, this location double charged me by rebooting the payment system during my purchase. Only because the situation seemed strange I went to the bank to discover the extra charges. Today, a week later, only paying cash now, and the same location gives me a penny in my change in place of a dime. Seems a bit odd. Should we be concerned that this location is committing fraud? A penny here, a dollar there. Checking my toonies for a Camel toe. Sad but true!..

It took an eternity to have our command. Whats more, there was a mistake with a vrap. It was spicy, whereas it clearly not supposed to be. Finally, the upper floor was closed.
No refills on drinks! Food was fine but wrap was poorly constructed.

This is the worst McDonald s in the entire country. They forgot an entire meal off my order and refused to give me what I paid for. There is ZERO service at this location. Everything is a huge inconvenience for the staff. Avoid at all costs.

Food:I find the food can, surprisingly, vary greatly from one location to another, a 5 or 10 min drive away. All together, at this particular location, the people you had making your food would also vary greatly from one shift to another. Totally unsanitary... very dirty, all the tables are sticky, it was disgusting to eat there... The mens restroom is absolutely killing me, the toilet only flushes manually, its also very dirty there, and how can you wash your hands properly after that, the water stops flowing if you take your hand off the water switch, and if a person is disabled and only has one hand, how can he use the washbasin??? I dont recommend going there at all, let alone eating there!
Its quite slow with service
The new BIG ARCH is a big waste of time and money. Compared to a Double qb with cheese there is no difference except for bun and bun size ans sauces and the onions. Not worth the price or the hype! You want a massive burger order a Big Harv or a BK triple McDonalds is the past when it comes to burgers ..a waste of money

This McDonald s is just gross. I can t believe the chain lets a location like this exist. The restaurant is a dark windowless hole, the food was overcooked dried up burger patties. It looks like there s an upstairs, that might have windows, but they block it off. Just don t go here people, it s not going to be what you re craving.

Went on long weekend in Aug for lunch, Waited for half hr for my food for family of 4. While I wait, there were multiple complaints with the wrong food given. Other than the fries, other food was the Worst tasting McDonalds Ive ever had.
Check your order, the food is made incomplete. Ordered bacon Belt. In it its just bacon and egg.
Ordered a regular smores mcflurry. Portion felt like it was snack size. Employee also didnt care about customers.
Online it says its open but when me and my friends went there at 12:00 last night all the doors were locked. Only Uber orders. 24 hours doors are locked at 11:00. Google you should change the hours. Its not a 24-hour establishment anymore

Ordered 2 milkshakes at 1030 and by midnight they still werent here. Called and was told the order was picked up by another dasher, and then was told by the dasher to call support where they just decided to cancel and produce a refund. Out of many times ordering from here, not more than 2 out of 15 times have I actually received the order.
I didnt get the chance to do anything there I didnt get to order I got no food And i didnt spend any money I Did try to go order because it said 24 hours open so I did walk there from Percy street on somerset but you have to go on line to place your order and you cant just make a order because you have to have the app and a credit card to do any thing there and they dont tell you that when you do look it up

Extremely slow and rude
I would like to give zero stars if possible... The service is bad. It says it is a 24hr but they close at 10pm!! The tables are closed before. So you cant eat or stay inside after that time. Theres no point to say its a 24hr and the food given is a shame, so small and tastes weird. Food
I ordered at around 3 AM and they kept giving me excuses as to why they can t fulfill it. They were incredibly rude and called me a fraud even though I had my order confirmation. They even told me that they couldn t make a big mac because it s almost 4 AM. I had to cancel my order because they refused to serve me. This is the worst service I ever received in my life!

Horrible.. Fast food is supposed to be fast and consistent. The only thing consistent here is that theyll get your order wrong. I wouldnt recommend getting anything here even if youre desperate youre bound to be disappointed.

I had an unfortunate experience during my recent visit to this place. Two homeless individuals caused a disturbance one approached me, while the other mocked, creating a scary situation. The pervasive smell was challenging to endure, despite the commendable efforts of the staff in maintaining cleanliness. Unfortunately, the disruptive behavior of these individuals continuously affected the overall atmosphere.

McDonald s Restaurant is a peak dining experience. The meals are optimized to put calories into customers at record speed and titillate their taste buds in the process. The McGriddle is arguably the crown jewel of this fine establishment. The maple syrup-soaked buns also give it an inalienable connection with our glorious homeland. 5/5 would recommend
I ordered via the app; a 22 minute + wait for a coffee and a hash brown. There were not a lot of people there ahead of me. Neither a coffee nor a hash brown take 22 minutes to make and serve.
Visited to stay for a while until my midnight bus arrives. Had to get out due to the flosure of eating place but the staff was kind to tell the situation!!
Tiny McDonalds... limited seating... search for upstairs. You feel very crowded and closed in here... but standard food and relatively quick service in a busy downtown location. Do take-out. I have yet to explore the bathroom here... a little scared, to be honest. Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance here is tight for wheelchairs to maneuvre... a 90° turn to get to the order kiosks right after entrance into a narrow gap filled with customers about. Would not be my choice of where to drive a wheelchair... bring a cattle prod!
McDonalds got the best fries. Only reason Im still visiting. And maybe McFlurries. Location is great but I cant understand that cant invest on better system to keep the bathroom clean. Parking: Dont drive. No drive through. Just walk.

Used to think this place was decent, but lately it seems like things have gone downhill. Wait times for food have drastically increased. I once waited 20 minutes for a basic quarter pounder combo, and then when I finally received my order, some items were missing, however I didnt want to even tell the staff cause it would result in even more waiting! There was also upwards of 15 to 20 people waiting for their orders too! I even saw some walk out as they grew tired of the wait. There is also not enough seating for customers. They used to use the 2nd floor for seating and it was fine, but now, every time I go to this location, the second floor is closed, and it results in not enough seating! I often have to take my food and find some place outside to eat! This place has the potential to be good, but the current staff seem slow and unmotivated. The only positive I have to say is that the food quality is still fine and about what youd expect from any other mcdonalds.

Fairly decent McDonalds, open ordering area with lots of space and nice quiet spots at the back although most people kept to themselves which is fair in a small McDonalds one couple did not which I found irritating but just moved away from them.
Usually reliable. The over night staff is understaffed or slow. Food usually comes cold when you pickup at this location during the night.
This is the longest Ive ever waited for fast food. They gave zero updates and have not been helpful at all. They clearly dont care and its very frustrating.

Visited this place during the Freedom Convoy for take out. The staff was angry that I wasnt wearing a mask so they made me wait outside for my order. No problem but then, they took the opportunity to poison my childrens happy meals and they all ended up with food poisoning. Didnt do anything to our food, just our kids food. Think of how degenerate and disgusting you have to be to poison kids happy meals. To all the staff here, GFY! G....F...Y!!! Is that clear? I hope that it is.
