Shoutout to the cashier serving customers in the dining room. She had red highlights in her hair. Didn't catch her name but really appreciated her asking me if I liked my coffee more sweet and bitter, rather than just making it however and handing it off, like most McDonald's do. That's the effort we need 🙏🏼!!! Coffee was really good too.
Went and ordered the new Grinch meal, and raptors nacho poutine.My Order was missing the fries, and the sauce for my biggest, but once I received my fries, that were supposed to have dill pickle seasoning didn’t, they just gave me regular fries. No fork with my poutine, and they gave me the wrong kind of poutine as well. And I waited over 10 mins for my order.
I recently visited this location and was quite disappointed with the service. I noticed the staff was handling the food without gloves, which raised some serious hygiene concerns. I was shocked!!! When I brought this up with the manager, she said staff don’t wear gloves anymore as they was their hands every 30 minutes. She later laughed the issue off with the staff, which was unprofessional and dismissive. The overall experience left me uneasy about the cleanliness of the establishment. What happens if a staff member goes to the bathroom and don’t wash their hands properly- no gloves- touching food, disaster waiting to happen.
Always a pleasant experience, there is a gentleman here of Indian origin who's always a pleasure to talk to. I am so sorry I forgot his name. His conversations and deminor are always welcome whenever I make a visit.
Quality and presentation of food is very poor. If I can give less than 1 star I would. The fries we were given were very bad and tasted old and were cold Big Mac was prepared verrryyy poorly both patties were on the bottom and both pieces of bread on top. Very disappointing
Quite simply this is one of the best, if not the best, McDonald’s location in the city. Unlike most McDonalds locations this restaurant actually employs a large number of people. The food is delivered promptly, the garbage is emptied, the floors cleaned, everything is running smoothly. And the staff seems happy.
Don’t waste money here. It has happened over and over again not only this time!! This location, they don’t respect your money and they don’t know how to make food. Disappointed me every single time. Please don’t work in food industry if you are not ready to server customers and make food with passion.
This place is not cleaned as much as it should. Overflowing garbage bins, beverage area is a disaster, no ketchup out, or tables wiped. Spilled milkshake on the floor stayed there during our 45 minute visit. Manager needs to step it up..

Waited 8 minutes for my mobile order coffee while I watched other people who came in after me, get meals before I got my coffee! I only got my coffee because I spoke up! No idea how long I would have waited had I not said anything! To top it off, I did not even get my xl 1 cream 1 Splenda! There were 4 xl sitting there and she just grabbed a random one. I asked and she said it was my coffee. Turned out, it is something with 2 or 3 creams in it and taste like garbage! I dumped it on the side of the road!
The customer service at drive through was very poor, the lady who took our order she was literally yelling us with rude tone and our order was not even complex just 2 coffees dd but they did not want to work for that as well I guess , Worst experience

Everytime I go there , there is always something wrong. Tonight , one of the workers coming off shift, left with our two big macs, we had to wait an extra 7 minutes after already waiting 10nminutes for our order. They just cancel the order so the timer stops after an alarm goes off.

The last 3 times I came here were extremely disappointing and unsatisfactory. 3rd last time I asked for a 10 piece nugget and requested them to be made fresh and was told okay just for them to not be. The time after that, after being handed the bag I said are the dipping sauces in the bag since its a common reoccurrence here for them to forget and I was buying for someone else so I wanted to make sure everything they wanted was there and she said yes all the sauces are in the bag just for me to get home and have no sauces. I should have known to check myself but instead I had faith that I could ask and she would honestly tell me if she wasnt sure and I would have been happier to be told to double check myself than to be told yes and then that happens. The final time I went I asked for only a cup of ice because it was a very hot day and I was told wellllll you should order something and I said I should or I have to? to which she replied you should, so I said no thank you Im only needing a cup of ice right now and she refused to serve me saying well you have to buy something. I would have paid a dollar for the cup if it was that much of an issue but instead I was turned down service after being told I should then changing it to I have to buy something. Terrible customer service. I understand having to be a paying customer but it should have been dealt with in a different and more professional and respectful manner, like saying she just has to charge me for the cup. Wont be back after being treated this way. I work in customer service at a small mom and pop bakery and were not even this petty and stingy with cups. I have people asking for double cupped coffee and cups of water all the time even though we sell water bottles and I never once hesitated or forced them into buying something. Its July, its scorching hot out, I would never turn down someone in need of a cup of water. More faith in humanity lost. Mcdonalds Findlay Creek, do better.

I arrived at 347am on June 23 to buy a coffee and the cashier at McDonald s tell me they need to reset the cash, can t serve at the moment. why do you have a 24 hours service if you can t serve coffee , I couldn t wait because I didn t want to be late for work. Then it shouldn t be 24 hours. You should put a sign in front of the drive through stating cannot serve at this time . I was informed by a coworker who informed me that the reset time is 0430 am. FYI the cashier when I arrived to the window, he was removing the cash at 348 am

WORST MCDONALDS IN OTTAWA. Staff always has issues and are backed up. Training is obviously not happening at this location. They dont monitor the drive through and Ive been in line where they serve 4 people in a row at the one mic while ignoring the other lane. lol 20 min for a coffee and two pies today! NEVER AGAIN! Came through this morning through the right drive through lane .no one in the left lane and I spent 1-2 mins saying hello no response. Someone pulls up in the lef t lane and immediately gets service. Finally I get served and placed my order egg McMuffin EVM with bacon and a large coffee, 2 milk one sugar Drive up to pay at the first window, no acknowledgment of wrongdoing that I was skipped over to have my order taken. Went to get my order small coffee passed through and subsequently returned. 5 mins later, opened my order . No bacon. I ll be going to the Tim Hortons next door from now on.

Breakfast muffins were overdone and crunchy. Tried to rush me through the drive thru even though it wasnt busy, but they were definitely slow serving the vehicles ahead. Missed handing out the items that were ordered. When I asked, they handed me one item and tried to rush me through without giving me the other ordered item.
Wait time is horrible. They mess up my order every time. I don t usually write bad reviews but this is atrocious. I m always having to call and complain. As someone who had a job at Mc Donald s I understand how hectic it is . However more than 10 times is no longer just an off day. It s just bad service. Drive through, delivery, take out (all bad service), I m always having to double check if everything is right. The staff are also unwelcoming as well they will literally leave you waiting for your food to chat in the back when it s not busy. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I was heading to the airport at 3:30am and I was hoping to eat something before I went knowing everything at the airport would be closed. When I went to the drive through they told me they were only serving coffee. If you are a 24 hour McDonald s it should be more then just coffee that you serve in the middle of the night.
There s 2 drive through lines, every time I come they take multiple order in the other lines before mine. Even if I try to switch it up and use the other line. Today they took 4 orders before I gave up and drove off. They have cameras, they know who arrived before who, what gives?
Services horrible coffee no sugar told the guy he could not be bothered so I ask for packs he brought me 2 for my triple triple and the other three coffees I had Mind u its 5 am hot fresh breakfast you would think nope the English muffins must have been from the previous day hard as a rock the sausage was cold the cheese was unmelted ... the hash browns were sobbing in oil .. January 15th 2023,3am I ordered 10pcs spicy nuggets, fillet o fish and medium fries. The food was cold. I think theyre left over or something. Fries was cold and hard. The fillet of fish was cold. Chicken nuggets was cold and not cooked.
I went to the McDonalds in Findley creek in ottawa Ontario on Sunday January 15th. I ordered a pretty big meal for my family. When we went to the drive thru window I asked to add 2 sandwiches extra to my meal. I then went to the first window and paid. We then proceeded to the second window to pick up our order. As we were about 5 mins down the road, my wife started handing out meals to our kids. We then realized that the two extra sandwiches were missing, so we headed all the way back to the mcdonalds. We re-went through the drive thru and told them what happened and they gave us the sandwiches. As we left again we were 5-10 mins down the street when I found out that the sandwiches were made wrong and my daughters big mac had ketchup on it and we had spicy nuggets instead of normal ones...the app during our order kept crashing so we tried to think maybe there was a glitch in the order. We went back to speak to the manager. The manager on site, whos name was Kion...sorry he refused to give me his full name and im not sure how to spell it, was super rude to me during our interaction about the 3 times now I had to drive all the way back to the McDonalds location. He refused to give me a refund and refused to give me a card or any way to contact another staff member higher than him. I was left standing there humiliated with all the rest of the staff laughing as he then told me he wouldnt help me and walked away. I am shocked and appalled at this mistreatment of loyal customers, ones who in the last year have spent hundreds of dollars at this restaurant. Today my time was wasted by having to go back 3 times, I was mocked and laughed at, and no help was offered. Only when the shift manager came, was I able to get a refund for just the items they didnt make right. The rest of my half meals here or there I still paid for and were stone cold in the end. I cannot believe that a general manager would not only treat customers this way but show staff its also okay to laugh at customers for their mistakes...all while also taking their money.

Not sure what happened but when we walked in the place was dirty. The drink counter and condiments looked ram sacked. No lids for medium drinks and the ketchup dispenser was empty and disgusting. Staff were busy with drive thru so maybe they didn t have time to clean the counters.
Employees are rude. They don t attend even if they see you standing. They com back from break and dont wash hands before touching food. Even the manager or supervisor, even she doesn t follow health and safety rules.They do not know how to behave to customer. Also there restaurant is not clean. Nobody wears hair net. Used to be one of the better run MacDonalds in the area. Not my last few experiences. Recently I went in and ordered a large coffee and a bacon and egg mcmuffin and a bacon and egg bagel. I got: med coffee, missing bacon on the bagel. Wrapped in an egg mcmuffin wrapper was a chicken sandwich with Gouda cheese (Ugh) is this even a thing on the menu??? No receipt in the bag either. Come on guys...
We went to the Mcdonalds in Findlay Creek. Read a sign in the drive thru window saying you can donate money or buy socks and things to support Mchappy day in May. We Asked if they had the socks for my daughter and son to get and the lady said ask the next window. We went to the next window and asked the young girl named Melissa if they Had the socks for the Mc Happy Day event in yet and she kept asking about sauce. We explained it was socks and she refused to look into it any further and told us to go to the third window. Not good that they would not look into getting money for the cause they posted on the window. On top of not being very friendly they then got the order wrong as well as not giving us any straws for or drinks or napkins. I do not recommend the place and the food quality is very poor.

Has messed up my order more times than theyve gotten it right. Ive learned after the first few times to double check the bag before leaving but in the cases where I didnt, they wouldnt answer there phone when I tried to call about the missing items. Would be nice if they would refund the gas cost.

The restaurant was filthy during my last visit. Garbage cans overflowing, trash on the tables and floor and the bathroom was disgusting... unflushed toilet filled with urine and an inoperative hand dryer. I tactfully mentioned the state of the restaurant to a staff member who assured me that it would be taken care of right away but nobody lifted a finger in the 20 minutes that I was there. Super disappointing.

An interesting social experiment happened here on July 1st, 2023. The drive through speakers were non operational, but neither the customers nor the employees knew . I wasted an hour of my night, but it was interesting to see some customers patient enough to wait 10+ mins at the speaker without service, and others that thought something was amiss and waited for a minute then left. The best part was that the restaurant was fully functional otherwise, even if you placed an order at the pickup window. No idea how no one bothered to post a note saying the speakers are not working, please pull up. Dont do drugs, kids.
Horrible place. Two people came after me and they took their order. I was waiting for a long time to get my order. When I told the cashier, he was rude and made an excuse that they are understaff. I waited for 40 mins for my order and when they gave it to me it was missing lots of things. I had to wait for another 15 mins for the rest of my order. I had to walk in to get the rest of my order the place was filthy They need to have better management, have better customer service and clean the place up.

Every time I go through the drive-thru, even if I am the lone vehicle, they ask me to go to the 2nd pickup window. The 2nd pickup window is right at the corner of an intersection and it is really difficult to pull out of. They create chaos with all the drivers pulling in to the Tim Hortons, leaving the Tim Hortons, driving through the plaza or leaving the 1st pickup window. I was once asked to pull in to a parking spot which can be nearly impossible to back out of. I was told they do this to clear orders and fake their drive-thru wait times. When I refused to go to the second window or parking spot they told me I would have to park anyways to come in to get a refund. What is even more frustrating is you pull up to the second window and 10 seconds later they give you your food. What was the point of sending a car in to that traffic nightmare when you could have given them their food just as quickly at the first pickup window. They need to get rid of that window as the drive-thru is already in a terrible spot for pulling out and their second pickup window only makes things worse. If my vehicle gets damaged because of the traffic mess McDonalds has created with that drive-thru setup, are they paying the bill?
Good other than their soda machine always having a problem. Today was no refills, other days it doesnt work past a certain time. Ill still refill my drink no sign gonna stop me.

Service is horrible. Employees are rude! and lazy. The drive thru is ridiculously slow. Every time I go especially at night you could be waiting up to 15 minutes before someone even says anything to you on the mic and you could be waiting up to 30 minutes for your food. This is a regular occurrence at night. When you get to the window employees are usually playing loud music and horsing around. When you finally get your food 9 times out of 10 its cold and you are missing items from the order.
If I could give a zero for this location I would. Did drive thru today and was waiting to be served while 4 cars in the other lane ordered before I was even addressed. This location by far is the worst McDonalds. AVOID IT AT ALL COST. I rarely leave a negative review but I do not want anyone to have the type of experience I have had at this locations. Also had a friend at this location order a Big Mac and got no meat. When they complained the people weren t surprised. Do yourself a favour and just go somewhere else.
Where to begin... Watched the sandwich prep lady constantly handle the greasy burgers with her bare hands while continually correcting her greasy hair bangs. In fact, NOBODY is wearing gloves or hair nets and most of the staff seem to touch their hair and faces often. Took a while to get my order of a Big Mac meal, yet ~4 orders that came after me got theirs (other meal combos). No noticeable customer service skills by any of the front of house staff. Tables were mostly dirty/greasy, garbages full, this was around 2 pm. I realize its a fast food restaurant, but McDonalds... your standards have fallen SO FAR from those you had in days of old.
Every time I go to this location my order is wrong. First online order wasnt recieved. Had to order at speaker. Then I had to repeat my order at every window. At the the 3rd window I received my food. I said I dont have my drinks. And she asked again what I ordered. Well when you order for more than 1 person it is very tiring to repeat. Check your screens before you hand out the order to make sure its all correct. Now for the food. Asked for a iced coffee with caramel I got a tag that says caramel but it is clearly taste and looks vanilla as its whitish instead of the brownish of caramel. My coffee I ordered milk and received cream. Being lactose intolerant that makes a big difference to me. And my egg had shells in it. This time thats all thats wrong. Many times we recieve wrong burgers or missing items. This location is horrible. More often than not the order is messed up.

Wrong order again
The morning shift at this place cant make an order right. Order a black coffee, it arrives so sweet you cant drink it. Order a normal ice coffee you get ice about 90% milk and maybe a mouthfull of coffee. They claim its the machine, perhaps it is but then fix the machine. They generally get the food orders right ill give them that. The morning crew tend to be unpleasent, slow as time itself. Ive had to wait 15 mins for a coffee when i am the only person in the drivethrough and inside. Bad management/leadership, its pretty obvious no one cares. Its macdonalds and bar is pretty low. Not asking people to cheerful even just not unpleasant and sarcastic when you point out the made a mistake on your order. Almost seems personal when they mess up your order 16/20times yes i counted.

One of the worst in the area. Drive through is actually dangerous because of a-holes from the Tim s drive through speeding past your blind spot. Clearly designed by a bonafide idiot. nasty and crowded
This place is overrun with children without adults running around, one ran into my daughter and almost knocked her over and she started crying. They are loud, obnoxious, saw one vaping inside the restaurant. They need full time security or need to do something. Also had to wait over 15 minutes for my fast food, which was wrongly prepared and had to wait even longer. The staff were great and were doing as best at they can in the terrible conditions this restaurant is in. I have noticed this getting worse and larger groups of kids in the last year, there were around 20 kids without any adults and not even buying any food from McDonalds, some were eating chips and drinks from competitors. I wont be going to this location anymore.
Drive through is the worst I have ever been to. When I order coffee and ask for sweetener it never has it. Today we waited 25 minutes at the drive through and then just left when I drove out I could see the employee leaning on the counter with his arms crossed not doing a thing. There were about 7 cars waiting in the drive through line. A & W will get our business from now on.

I ve been at this location for the past four times, and both the food and the service are terrible. Every time I order my food, it s worse than the time before that. The food doesn t look or taste fresh, the people that work there don t smile at you or say hello, and are very snarky and rude. One of the worst branches. They literally fail at the basics of fast food which is being fast. Over 20 minutes for an order of fries. Prior times, literally got the order wrong 4 times and over charged. Seriously a joke. Food
Slowest drive thru experience. Took 10-15 minutes to get through to the end of the drive thru. I was then asked to pull to the side along with 2 other customers to get my simple breakfast order. After waiting another 10 minutes they finally brought out my order but it had the wrong items. I then waited another 5-10 minutes to get the right items. Hash browns were extremely oily and undercooked, the bottom of the bag was soaked in oil.
Both English muffin sandwiches that we actually got were rock hard, like a hockey pucks. I actually knocked on them through the packaging so my husband that was driving got understand how bad it was. While knocking on the muffin, it actually cut my hand, thats how overcooked they were. Then we realized we were also missing a sandwich. We headed back and they said they never typed in a 3rd sandwich. Well thats funny because we got the drink and hashbrowns from the meal for it...well thats because instead of taking our order correctly and adding the other sandwich and combo, the girl just turned the one existing sandwich into a combo and ignored the fact that there was another sandwich ordered. Im not paying for another sandwich because you guys failed to type it in properly and especially with seeing the state of the sandwiches we did get (which I did mention to them). Dietary restrictions: Youll be on a diet ordering from here as you wont get all of your food. If you want to break a tooth, this is the place for you!
Order was ready quickly and the food was actually hot.
One of the cleanest I ever been
I visited my local McD for a small reward during my afternoon walk and i must sadly report that it was quite disappointing. First of all it took 10 minutes to prepare my Cafe Mocha (order 246 Sunday Nov 11), it was luke warm when it was served and i was offered only a perfunctory sorry for the delay. The store was busy for 230 in the afternoon, but there was at least a dozen staff including 2 managers who were not overly burden with orders. As I continued to stand at the counter, I noticed quite a bit of dirt on the machines and counter, there was no management follow up on my order and a general malaise about service. Though not typical for this McDs, as mentioned, a really disappointing experience.
Prompt service. Clean facilities.

22 minutes waiting for a bagel and it was wrong Johnny Canucks Sit Down Restaurant will serve you more food, in less time and is a way nicer environment
Its a standard mcdonalds. The 2 star review is due to the fact that I have been in the drive through line up for 20 minutes and were not moving and theres no way to get out of the line..... 30 minutes and counting
I usually bring the family to this location twice a week as a treat and the service is typically good. Last time I came, both the filet o fish we ordered came with no sauce and no cheese, we ended up throwing them out. I went in today and told the manager and was offered a large fry as compensation. Im sorry but a $2 fry doesnt make up for 2 $7 sandwiches. Note that we typically spend anywhere from $40-$100 a visit, twice a week. Well, due to the horrible effort of this manager Ill be taking my business elsewhere. From now on well be taking the family to Burger King or Wendys instead.
Order happy meal for my son through McDonalds app, decided to pop in and pick up the happy meal for order 2123... the counter lady said that my order did not go through and requires to re order, which I opened the app and spoke with magement who told front counter that its correctly ordered. Anyway took longer to get my happy meal.
Not helpful staff, I understand they are busy but they should help customer to select meal if they don t have any idea about the menu.
It seems that no matter what, they always get the order wrong. 9 times out of 10 we drive away and something from our order is missing. The other day we ordered the new BLT on an English muffin and the English muffin was so hard that it tasted like it was two months old. Terrible. It s as if they just don t care.
Horrible not only that mc Donald s sandwiches are becoming so tiny not enough to make an adult full i asked for quarter pounder it came with one cheese so plain and dry no pickles a pinch of ketchup snd 3 tiny slices of onions i asked the manager why my sandwich is missing stuff and all he said : i will make one snd show you i said ok he then walked away never came back and i will never step a foot again in this mc donalds i spent 32$ was out feeling unsatisfied and even not so full and feel robbed i will spread the word on my community.
Slackers! Drive-thru sucks, they forgot one order of fries and bbq sauce for the chicken nuggets oh and a straw too!
