Tasty Greek authentic dishes.

The food has been decent the two times I ordered, but when giving pictures of menu items you shouldnt include extras that need to be paid for to the picture as it can be misleading or confusing. (Tzatziki cup beside Greek fries, didnt notice it didnt come standard as I was busy while ordering)

fries are soggy taziki is very sour paid $1.15 +tax&tip not worth it gyro good but taziki brought the taste down. How can a Greek place not make taziki

Ordered on Uber...no utensils to eat our platters.... Ordered calamari...they sent something completely different. Super disappointed for how long we waited and how much I spent.

Ordered via skip the dishes to airport hotel - so good after a long flight. Didn t come with cutlery mind you, but that was easily solved.

Quick and convenient meal but way to overpriced for what it is. I got a chicken souvlaki platter and it cost about 22$. Which is the typical price for a platter but they only give you the smallest skewer ever. I can think of many other places that tastes better, made fresh and the portions are bigger for the same price.

Pleaseeeee cook your meat properly!! This place used to be good. Now the past few times that I have ordered, I ve received undercooked chicken. Now this time I got horrible food poisoning and have to go to the hospital. This is unacceptable!

Had food poisoning from the meat. Still haven t even received a refund or any credit. Please avoid this place at all costs.

Ordered a box lunch. Charbroil Chicken Souvlaki, seasoned potato, rice pilaf, and Greek salad. Current price for pick up 15$. Portioned for lunch. There is plenty of food for lunch. Will have again.

There is no easy in here but the deliver and/or pickup food is delicious, and the staff is helpful.

I paid nearly $30 for a small box of 1 gyro wrap and fries. Way too expensive for what I got..

Aside from Coconut Lagoon, this is some of the best food in Ottawa. I always order the vegetarian platter (and sometimes the delicious homemade black forest cake) and it is absolutely delicious every time with generous portion sizes well worth the prices. I only wish I knew how to make everything at home so that I could have it more often.

Ordered off uber, delivery was handled by store staff so there was no tracking available. It was 20 minutes past the estimated delivery time, I was required to call the store to receive an update. The person I talked to was dismissive and rude, told me to get it handled with uber. I called the store again, hoping I would get another person to talk to. It was the same person and he was just as rude and dismissive. I ended up cancelling my order and getting my money back. Do better and train better. Will not be ordering from here again.

I ordered the chicken souvlaki it comes with vegetables potatoes and chicken. The chicken was small and bland and tasted frozen. I don t understand you would think a restaurant would try to make there items top notch to make costumers return, but in the end this effects there business. Being cheap can be very expensive.

Baklava is the best at this location, pieces are small but so delicious. Main meals are always good filling wholesome meals. Potato, rice and skewer meat are super delicious. A little expensive but the meal is wholesome and there is a big portion of rice and potatoes. Customer service seemed reserved but pleasant.

I ve been going to this place for years. Today I called multiple times to place a pickup order and didn t get an answer. That s alright, I was going to drop by anyway so I tried making my order when I got there. They were ignoring me at the front so I had to call out to the back twice for them to come take my order. Still not a problem. After 7 they have a 2 for 1 deal on their platter, Ive ordered it many times before. However when I tried today the employee told me that s only offered on Thursdays which was never the case for the years i ve been coming here. I showed him the deal was being advertised on Uber as we spoke and he claimed that s only on Uber. So i said fine then i ll place the order on Uber. For the first time ever their pickup option was turned off and i had no way to place my order. I suspect they turned it off. I showed him and he offered no solution. Then I tried calling back later and got placed on a 7 minute hold until i tried again. The second time i asked to speak to a manager or if he could reach back to me at my number, to voice my concerns. I got hung up on They clearly didn t want to give me their two for one deal and expected I would pay full price since I was already there (I did not). They lost a long time customer, cheers.

The food here was delicious and fresh, the staff was super friendly and helpful (provided great recommendations), and the food came fast too. After a couple bad experiences at other Greek restaurants, I stumbled upon this Greek on Wheels, and I was more than impressed to say the least. The staff was super friendly and guided me through the entire menu to help decide what to order. The food came out rather quickly and all the items tasted very fresh and tasted amazing! I ve officially found my go-to Greek place going forth, and I am looking forward to coming back here soon!

Rude employee. Reply for restaurant: I told you I had a bag in the car with other food in and I ll put with, just didn t want to carry that food around. You didn t even want to listen to me. No way an uber delivery guy could go without a bag. Even if the driver brings the bag to store, what guarantees you they wouldn t just take the food out the bag later. It s about trust like the customer trust you put fresh and actuall food. Wish you were this nice at the restaurant.

Extremely terrible service! Worker at the front was incredibly inconsiderate and rude. The wait times are extremely long. I waited 2 hours for my food. After all that wait, the food turned out to be very bad. It is nothing close to authentic greek food and the beef was disgusting. I suggest you do not waste your time and money here!

Employees are incredibly rude and treat delivery drivers with disrespect. Wait times are 1.5-3 hours. Food quality is horrible. You re better off eating a microwave dish from Walmart. Only go here if you want a horrible experience.

Bad service, rude front desk worker

This place is only takeout. And the way this place looks is nothing to call home about. But it s always the hole in the wall places that have the best food. I cannot comment on value as I didn t end up paying for the meal. It was picked up by a friend. But the meal itself was fantastic and the packaging was good too. We all got chicken souvlaki platters came with a chicken skewer, rice, potatoes, tzatziki, and salad. My only complaint is that the salad was made with lettuce. I want true Greek with only the veggies and feta. But all in all I would return.

Amazing tzaziki sauce. Open past 11pm too. I was at the Hilton suites next door and found out they didn t have room service. Greek on wheels was open (Lonestar was also closed) and made my order in 15 mins.

Biggest scam out there how are you going to advertise a souvlaki platter for 15.93 and then up charge it to 27$ yet your menu says it s 15.93 that s like 11 dollars in tax that doesn t make sense!

So I liked it, my friend didnt. Portions were decent...albeit expensive 18$ for the platter considering there was no meat. The span a whatchamacallit was nice & the vine rolls...the rest was pretty much just rice & lettuce. The hummus was bland. My friend usually never complains & considering he hadnt eaten all day & didnt like it enough to finish it says a lot. Room for improvement at those prices....

Terrible. This is Greek souvlaki?? Not!! Half a tomato and a few pieces of chopped onion, accompanied by a lackluster tzatziki. And the seasoning on the meat was strange. More like Mexican seasoning.

Love this location. We love Greek food and this is the best Greek take out spot in the city. They have the best potatoes Ive ever had. Super clean and always get the order perfect. Oh ya, also the best garlic sauce in town- we order it everytime with our meals. Obssessed!

For those who think that Greek food is vegetarian friendly...not here! The menu is misleading as far as dietary options. Be aware that veggie part of the menu is not vegetarian. The rice is prepared with chicken stock.

A bit pricey but very solid quality fast food greek. Definitely a bit greasy and salty but it does what it does well and food is consistent and fresh.

Id give zero stars if possible. Got order completely wrong. Got a piece of bread with one piece of chicken. Tried to call to figure out what happened and got put on hold three times. On the fourth try the employee tried to fight with me over the phone. Worst customer service ever!!!

I always stay at the hotel close to this restaurant when i come for business. I tried there food for the first time and i got to say i was very impressed. The chicken sauvlaki was delicious. Looking forward to try other foods on the menu.

Consistently great food, particularly with the souvlaki platters. My boyfriend and I always order GOW because of this. They also recently increased the size of tzatziki sauce which is amazing!!!! I m always ordering extra on the side. My only piece of criticism would be addressed to packaging materials used with the appetizers. Last time I ventured to try something new I was slightly disappointed with the packaging my calamari came in... Food was wrapped in tin foil then placed in the foam container. This should be looked into as the steam from the food melted the foam container - other than that great food! We will always order from GOW!!

Tonight was the first time I tried out this Greek place. Person that took my order was pleasant. I enjoyed the food and especially the fast delivery. Would order again from here when I am feeling Greek.

We ordered food at 8:35pm (two chicken souvlaki platters) and were told that our food would arrive in 40 minutes. Around 9:40 our food never showed up. So we called and were told that the driver was waiting outside for an hour, but the person who took down the order took the wrong phone number and address, and then promised us an additional platter free of charge. The driver showed up at 10:30 and only had one plate and was rude with us at first. We ve never had an experience like this but it was unfortunate.

We ordered two family meals and an extra four lamb skewers. Food was enough to feed 12 plus for sure but the rice was a bit raw- not the best Greek rice we have had for sure but the meat was quite good. Greek salad was also different than we are used to with feta squares instead of crumbled, four huge red onion rings instead of slices and the container packed so tight we couldnt toss the dressing. Packages come with pita and a ton of tzatziki and salad dressing, more than needed. Firat family pack is 50 bucks and second is 55. Pretty good for what we paid but not the best. And healthier option than the other places near the hotels. Note resto is next to an adult store of some kind so glad we didnt bring the kids to order.

I don t see what all the hype is about. The food was alright ( under seasoned) and very pricey. A quarter of my plater was hummus, who needs that much hummus? The fries were good but it s kind of hard to mess that up. Don t see myself going back.

Went to order there G2 value deal Im less the 5 min walk and some how it goes from 11.75$ too 19.75 how the hell does that make sense ??? Looked good till the guy tells me we raised prices and theres a delivery charge for a 3 min drive. Didnt even get to try way to much for a value menu deal apparently

By far the best Greek food I ve had ! Always fast delivery and the quality of the food remains the same. Tried a few things off the menu and I would recommend it all.

I order from there twice a week , the food is pretty Delish depending on the location and who takes the orders I usually stick to the one in Hawthorne rd. I ve been eating from there since I was about 19 or 20 and I m about 33 now. So I think it s a well deserved place to try I always get the hot Louisiana chicken wrap with platter.
