Rude, being 5 behind the counter doesnt make the service faster if the cashier is rushing the customer to pay if he is still trying to communicate his order with the other employees, while the first employee in line is screaming next one, when people are not ready to order. Fast doesnt equal good customer service.

Food was ok and fast, but the service was pretty bad, the servers weren t paying attention to us I guess they were trying to go as fast as possible. The cashier didn t even pay attention to us she forgot to give us our drinks, didn t give us a tray and we didn t pay attention when we left, overall bad experience will no come back

Their shrimps are the best of the best

Always go there for cozy food and nice people. The team is truly wonderful. Their Cheese pie is delicious, definitely worth trying.

The food tastes fine, but the portion sizes are too small. I have been to numerous Jimmy the Greek locations all over Ontario and they all fill the box to the brim. This location gives you two little potatoes, a small scoop of rice and a tiny bit of salad. Definitely not worth the price. Every other Jimmy the Greek location gives good portions, so Im assuming its the rules of whoever owns this one. Its bogus.

Womam who served me was rude and raised her voice as I was still deciding. They didnt offer me greek yogurt dip, had to ask for it which isnt right. Be vigilant when you visit or they may try to scam you.

I was shocked by the portion that was put in the container . It was like purchasing a kids meal. If people are paying $20 for a meal at least provide as reasonable portion size. Also the listening skills from the staff can be more attentive, just because you misheard or did not pay attention to what the customer was saying doesn t mean the customer is in the wrong.

Good balanced meal for takeout.

The food is delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and consistently helpful. I highly recommend trying the Beef Souvlaki and Lamb chops.

Cheap food yet good quality. Service is very fast even during line ups. They didnt have chicken when I ordered, but the served me veal at the same price.

Got a yummy salad and rice with a huge chicken leg on top of it for a cheap price but the only thing that threw me way off was olives WITH pits! My teeth were scared

worst experience here at jimmy the greek Rideau. Usually a great fan of their food but twice so far got uncooked chicken and even their rice is crunchy. Also today I have noticed that they usually put 3 decent sized potatoes but today it was half of mini potatoes. The pictures below show how their potatoes used to be and how I am being served now. Not planning on coming again!!

Literally the sweetest staff. Was having a bad day and wanted to order something off menu during rush hour (didnt know it was off menu) staff still took my order and was very nice about it. Made my day :))

I have worst experience here at jimmy the Greek Rideau today. Usually, a great fan of their food but today their rice was crunchy. The food I ordered was a chicken souvlaki and Salmon fillet meal and both meals were utterly atrocious and mediocre for the price, and it eventually made me sick. I would leave zero stars if I could. If you really care about your health do not eat at jimmy the Greek Rideau, it will ruin your week. Not planning on coming again!! Thank you

Nourriture pas très bonne. Les pommes de terre ont un goût acidulé, olives pas terribles, riz quelconque etc... Difficile de manger avec les couverts en plastique fournis. Equipe pas très bien coordonée pour prendre la commande. Ca pourrait être pire mais vraiment déçu quand même. Le pire restaurant de la salle à manger du centre Rideau parmi ceux que jai essayés.

Inpatient service and poor experience. Not cost effective. Never come here. A young lady directly added meat when I was not choosing. After I ordered the chicken fillet, they gave only 5 left slices which was even not the whole cut fillet, I saw that they cut a whole fillet, put into another plate and cut the second fillet still put some slices into that plate, then the left for me , don t know why. first time went here today, I didn t know how to order and what can I choose. I guess you are not willing for explaining .

My first dining in experience amidst the current pandemic. I used to eat here a lot during the university days. The place has been relocated, but the quality of food is still great. Food quality: Excellent Cleanliness: Excellent Employees: Well, I wasnt greeted, but thats okay. They served food pretty quick, and in great portion. Wait time: None at 6pm on Monday. I got a chicken platter and I wasnt looking at the person make my food but after I paid for my food n took it home, I realized that they forgot the chicken ( not sure how ) I called them and they told me come back and get another plate. It was late so I decided to go the following day because I was in rideau already and when I told the woman at the cash, she remembered me from the previous day and as she was making the plate,this Indian guy that usually cooks the food started yelling at her and then me and said idc who you spoke with yesterday but am not giving you another plate, Hadid offer to replace my chicken break but wanted me to pay for another plate if I wanted rice, potatoes and salad. I just said nevermind and thank you.

Like most, I have eaten at a lot of Greek restaurants but I have to say, the roasted lamb shank meal that I had here was outstanding. Perfectly braised and seasoned lamb shank that was luscious accompanied by beautifully roasted Greek style potatoes, soft and flavourful with a hint of citrus. Heavily dilled tzatziki that was nice and thick with a nicely balanced Greek salad with a wonderful dressing and fresh tomatoes. At $15.25, it was a third of the price that I have paid at some high end Greek restaurants and twice as good and this place is in a food court no less. Highly recommended.

Was in town for a week and had to come here a second time for their souvlaki on rice, potato and salad. Everything was delicious.

Will never eat there again. Today had lunch there in Rideau Center, and there was a dead fly in my salad. I dont think I can eat at that food court anymore... Anyway, I took it to the counter and showed it to the workers there, asking if they washed the lettuce- they just acted like this is not a big deal, telling me why I am showing it to them and I need to just throw it away. Thats it!!! The way they acted was like blaming me for pointing that out. Apparently they dont wash the vegetables (in this case, the lettuce). I should have taken a photo, but was not thinking about writing a review at that time.

Good food and good price for the portion size. Service was good and quick. The seasoning on the chicken and rice are just right. The potatoes are nice too but at times I found the dish too sour. I know theres a general lemon-y/sour taste to Greek food but I just found it overpowering at times. Still good though!

I went to the rideau centre to grab a bite to eat 25 minutes before I had to go on a bus to toronto. I ve never been here and there were so many options, but I chose Jimmy the greek because I love it in toronto. I got in line which was about 10 minutes and I told them Id like a pork souvlaki dinner to go, they started making my plate immediately starting with the salad and when my plate got passed along to the next station they let me know that there was no pork and that I had to choose something else. I asked if there was anything for the same price and they just kept saying we can give you chicken so I said for the same price? and they couldnt answer me. Then a man who worked there came over and said I dont have pork what do you want, and I said Ill take the chicken if its for the same price and then he started YELLING AT ME! its obviously not the same price! do you want it or not. Pork will be ready in 10-20 mins and I said you guys didnt tell me there was no pork Ive been waiting, I have a bus to catch to toronto. Ill take the chicken if its for the same price and he yelled you dont want it, okay fine, and tossed my container . Overall really disappointed and terrible customer service.

Jimmy the greek at the rideau center is the best branch Ive ever been to. There I usually order the chicken shnitzel which is very good, very crunchy and well seasoned, made fresh. The salad is good, but I asked for it without dairy ingredients that I cant eat and it was still included. I like the rice too but I dont really like the potatoes, which have a slightly sour taste. The cutlery they send with the food is very bad, difficult to eat. But overall its good food for a good price, Ill keep ordering and I want to try new dishes. Usually very good value and taste. However, yesterday I found a live bug in my salad. I showed it to the staff and they instead of apologizing they said they would tell the staff who work in the back about it. They offered to replace it but I had eaten most of the meal by that point. My expectation was and is that you should offer a refund. They didnt however. This was very disappointing.

Delicious and the guy who was working when we were there was so polite and didnt rush us. Definitely enjoyed the food.
