Absolutely fantastic Greek food, so happy to have this restaurant in Orleans. Service is top notch and the food is fresh, flavour-packed and authentic. Couldn't ask for more! The walk in special is an especially good deal that I'll come back for time and time again!
This is a very unsuspecting place with some very good food. We walked in and were immediately drawn to the milkshakes selection: skor and kit-kat. We then ordered the dakkos appetizer and the Spartan board. The dakkos bread was very interesting, very complex aromas and flavors. The soft texture with the crunchy crust gave a very nice contrast. The tomato topping with crumbled feta and capers - always a winning combo. We had one Greek salad and one house salad. Both were also very enjoyable. I've eaten my veggies so it's time for meat! The Spartan board was absolutely loaded with amazing grilled meats. Meatballs, sausage, chicken and pork skewers, lamb chops, soft seasoned rice, pita bread, veggies and garlic roasted potatoes. It's billed as being for two, but we didn't come close to finishing. Finally we got a slice of baklava cheesecake to go. The staff took good care of us and came back several times to see if they could do anything more for us. I had a great dining experience and will likely be back for a round 2.
It was a Friday night and only one server working the front of the house. Service was friendly, and courteous but was slow as they were the only person in the floor. Calamari appetizer was good. For main courses we ordered a Gyro and shrimp dish. The shrimp were overcooked, pasty and over charred. The gyro was good. The dish with the shrimp was served with fries… not authentic Greek and not very good either. Frozen steamed veggies were served but the house salad was good. Was wondering why it was not busy on a Friday night. Mystery solved.
Highly recommend! Absolutely delicious! We ordered the Spartan meat board and it did not disappoint. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The amount of food is exciting. The rice, potatoes, various meats, taziki, warm bread and two side salads, everything was so delicious. The menu says this feeds two but the amount of food can easily feed three. Service was friendly and over all experience was excellent 👌🏼
Being a foodie and breast feeding mom; The chicken skewer was good The presentation of the whole plate looked gross and made me question why I ordered there. I adore Greek food for the very reason that the foods are rich in flavour and healthy… this was not . The woman greeting me was nice. The plate I ordered was majority fries and the rice was so oily - why ?? If I was craving fries , I would’ve gone to a chip truck… Unfortunately, I didn’t take a look at the reviews until after my order. I wouldn’t come here again and I wouldn’t recommend it.
We were excited to try this. Less than impressed sadly. Rice was crunchy Mostly fries Tziki tasted like plastic (more than one of us said so) Salad was made up of almost 50% onions and tomatoes were under ripe. Feta was delicious Prices reflect quality 😕
We ordered takeout from Parea for the first time tonight and were disappointed. The rice, gyro, pork souvlaki and Greek potatoes were all delicious. Portions were small in comparison to other Greek restaurant in Ottawa. The Greek salad was bland, having only olive oil as the dressing. House roasted potatoes are an extra 3$ per plate. One plate only got 2 potatoes and we were told upon pickup that they ran out of them and switched our order to fries. The fries were bland, just your average frozen fries. While the potatoes were good, it was disappointing to only get 2 on a plate; not worth the extra 3$. The staff was very friendly and I would recommend perhaps dinning in, as the restaurant itself seemed welcoming and the two servers who interacted with me were friendly. Was also a bit disappointed to wait an extra 25 min in the restaurant to pickup our order, as they were running behind I believe. The website should better reflect pickup time to avoid waiting like we did. Overall, I think this place has potential but didn’t meet our expectations. Might try again in person in the future.
This place gets a solid 3.5, which to be fair, is orrery good in my books. The food and service are both good. That being said, there is still room improvement, such as a couple of dishes just being slightly off mark in terms of prep, including the spanakopita and shrimp appetizers being overcooked. The rice was also not your traditional Greek, but most other things were quite good, including the chicken and tzatziki.

This restaurant will cancel your order whether it s 30 minutes or 3 hours before close . I ve successfully gotten my food from them once out of ordering almost 8 times

Absolutely wonderful service by Voula! Our party of 12 was taken care of amazingly even though the waitress was alone that night. The food was scrumptious, and everyone at the table was sharing with each other (very uncommon for us!) Voula made sure that we had everything we needed and ensured any missed sides were replaced promptly. Highly recommend this place! Great value and very reasonable prices! 10/10
Simply delicious
Strato was the cheeriest, most delightful (and helpful) server ever! He noticed it was my wife s birthday, so he brought us some fantastic baklava afterwards, which we were NOT expecting. Gave him a top tip. And the food? Well that was just WOW. Super glad we live close, cuz we re going again! Thanks Strato!
Had a great experience thanks to Strato Sartzetakis he was great plus he always came to check on me to see if I needed anything and to see if I was enjoying the food plus he was very nice and loved the food.
Take away is good. I would skip the rice and chips though.

We had take out, we ordered the chicken slouvaki platter, everything was very good except we didnt have wedge potatoes but french fries. I wish I would have known, I would have asked for more salad. Worth coming back

I dont believe I could have had a better experience. The seafood platter I had was simply amazing. Grilled shrimp was so flavourful, the butterfly shrimp was so creamy. Just amazing

We ordered the Limnos Greek Island Feast. Only 2 of us, so we took home leftovers. Naxos Fish, a nice mild white fish. Next, 2 salads, lots of Calamari, nice Rice, Roast Lemon Potatoes, Santorini Shrimp, and Aegan Shrimp Scampi, and vegetables. It is Eggsexpress until 2 p.m. and then becomes Parea at 4:30 p.m. We were so eager, we sat in the parking lot until my watch showed 4:30! $75 for the feast, but have you bought seafood lately? $$$$ Plus, we had leftovers. Cannot imagine the amount of leftovers, if we had ordered the Spartan Meat Board, with Lamb, Loukaniko, Pork Sticks, Bifteki, and Chicken Sticks, plus all those sides. You can order individual meals for $19 - $25, if I remember correctly. Pork, chicken, lamb, salads, plus appetizers. I love to make Scampi, but grocery stores no longer carry Scampi. Pareas Scampi melts in your mouth, and the Aegean Shrimp is perfectly cooked. Our server, Voila, was friendly and gave us a perfect evening out. You may recognize her from a great breakfast at Eggsexpress. We usually do the feast as takeout, but the lamps on the tables and blue and white tablecloths made for a cozy feel. Go for 4:30 - 6:00, if you want to avoid crowds and enjoy a nice quiet atmosphere, with gentle background music. Check out their houses of service, but think they are closed for New Years. Try the Chocolate Supreme Cake. Parking: Lots of free parking, right at the restaurant. but part of a plaza for additional parking.
The chicken souvlaki platter has really small portions, half of the box comes empty. The salad was mostly tomatoes. Im still hungry. I will not order here again.

Finally, some authentic Greek food that just doesn t put a ton of rice on your plate to make it look like you are getting a lot of food. Calamari with tzatziki . was better than having it with cocktail sauce Drove from Kanata since our friends who live there told us to go.
Overall underwhelmed. Pita bread was terrible and chewy. Very little chicken in the platter and too many fries. Calamari was so so. Salad and tzatziki were good.
It was the first time we tried Parea, I was disappointed, I ordered two mains, Santorini shrimps, it indicated parea salad, rice, roasted lemon garlic potatoes, which were good, unfortunately we were served frozen steamed broccoli instead of the salad. I have no problem understanding if you run out of an item, however, if you are substituting, please let me know in advance so that I decide if I want your $27 dollar plate... Unfortunately for me, will not be returning or ordering

I would have to say very good salad , very good potatoes , very good tzatziki sauce , except both my pork and chicken meat were very dry , other then that not too bad.
The lamb they offer for $38.00 is utter garbage. It is dry, bland, and the vegetables that come with it were cooked from frozen and mushy. Never again I will be ordering from there. It is worse than airplane food. Thieves.
The place was good and the food as well. The service lacked empathy because we brought our own pie to celebrate a birthday and they didnt allow us to eat it inside the restaurant, despite all the food we had ordered.
April 2023 Five of us dined here and three were of Greek decent. They loved the food which says a lot. Food - outstanding and delicious Service - outstanding and fast Prices - reasonable. $20 - $30 per person because we ordered wine. Our server spoke Greek, so our friends laughed and conversed in Greek. She was notch top for service and personality. Would definitely recommend this place to dine.

Not impressed at all. This is the plate you get for $22. Not even a scoop of rice and one chicken?? How odd. Not only the portions are lacking, so is the taste. Save your money and your time.

What lovely staff and manager they have there! The food is soooo good as well! We had a mix up where we thought a meal from our takeout order was missing. They replaced it asap and they were so kind! It turns out we were wrong (our little one snagged it without us noticing and we found him and the dog hiding out having a little feast). I called to apologize and the manager was so lovely and understanding!!

Welcome to Orleans Paréa! I must say the food was fantastic ! The portions are also quite big. We ordered the chicken gyro plate (one being Paréa sized - with two sandwiches); one with rice and one with potatoes. I, personally, can t speak on the potatoes as I didnt try them, but they got a good review. The rice was absolutely delicious!! I loved the fact that the salad was packed on its own and the dressing was on the side. The spanakopita size was definitely quite a surprise (ie. it was BIG!) - very fresh! The pastry was perfect and so flaky. Orleans was overdue for an authentic Greek restaurant and here it is! Try it out - you definitely won t be disappointed ! I cant wait for my next visit.

The best review I can give for this place is as follows: my Greek wife opened the box and declared that it smelled exactly like her Yiayias kitchen. It came with flavors to match. You want Greek? It doesnt get more Greek this side of the Atlantic.

We had the Chicken Gyro Platter and all I can say is WOW. It was hot and fresh. We went into the restaurant to order and right away I loved the vibe of the place, it felt very authentic. The owners and staff were FANTASTIC, welcoming, generous and friendly. They offered us complimentary homemade soup which was delicious. Upon getting home, I had realized I was missing an appetizer so I called the restaurant and the owner went above and beyond, delivered my appetizer to my home with a dessert. I cannot wait to visit again. Highly recommend for some good Greek cuisine. Thanks again to the owners and staff :)
Amazing food. Got the chicken wrap and it was delicious. Only issue was finding the place since on Google it comes up as being on Old 10th line instead of 10th line.

Finally REAL greek food in Orleans! I was spoiled growing up in Chomedey, Laval and living in Montreal with all the incredible Greek restaurants. Thank you Paréa! Your tzatziki sauce reminds me of Marathon Restaurant s famous sauce in Chomedey. And your portions are as big as Village Grec. The salads are huge. Served in their own container. I feel like I m back home. Comfort food indeed. Just like your name Paréa says, I feel like I m in good company. Can t wait to try the rest of your menu. Especially your Calamari next, I miss going to Marven s for that back home. Keep up the good work. Glad to support a great local business. Especially during these challenging times for restaurants.
New authentic Greek meals. We visited this past weekend and we re blown away by the quality of the meals offered. They also have your standard Greek street fare items. We will try those next for take out.
Definitely a five star rating for this new authentic Greek restaurant right in my own neighbourhood of Orleans! The location is a breakfast/ brunch place during the day (called Eggspress - also really good if you haven t tried it yet!) but converts to Parea restaurant in the evening. Warm atmosphere and great service. Food was superb! I went with a group of friends. Started with an array of original and tasty appetizers (true to their Greek roots, they use only the highest quality feta cheese and olives and their tzatziki sauce is to die for!). For our main we decided to order their 2 sharing boards: the Limnos Greek Island Feast and the Spartan Meat Board.(pictured here). Both did not disappoint! Would highly recommend this restaurant!
Had a delicious meal from Paréa Authentic Greek last night. I ordered the pork gyro platter and added two chicken skewers. The gyro was accompanied with a scoop of rice, wedge fries and a side Greek salad. Everything was amazing! The pictures speak for themselves. Parea is a great addition to the community, and I look forward to trying more from the menu

This new place just opened up, and we wanted to give them a try. Picked up a few menu items for family dinner. We enjoyed the calamari, chicken souvlaki, and some shrimp. Everyone really enjoyed the food. Great option for Greek food in Orleans. We will be back.
Myself and my wife have been looking for Authentic Greek Food in Ottawa for 25 years. Parea opened up 2 blocks from us so we decided to try it 3 weeks ago. It was AMAZING but would it be consistent?? We tried it again 2 weeks ago and SAME- AMAZING, I ordered again this week and it was amazing again!! So I called over and asked were in Montreal are you guys from and of course they said Park X and Laval. Now that makes sense. Same taste as Marvin s and Marathon!! BEST Souvlaki and Gyros you will find in Ottawa for sure!!!! The Tzatziki, and Feta taste GREAT!! I would definitely recommend Parea with out question. Thank you for your AMAZING Authentic Greek Cuisine.
Was there with my wife on Saturday afternoon. Was greeted by the owner Nick K. who promptly prepared for us a Dakkos starter plate as well as a Kaitsounia dish. Both were extremely delicious. To this we also picked up a Skordalia and tzatziki spread and quickly headed home to enjoy. Because if it s ideal location close to home here in Orleans, we will definitely be returning for more and as others have said, to sample more from their menu!

We had a lovely supper at Parea. The service was wonderful. Ionian garlic shrimp appetizer and the Cretan lamb chops were enjoyed and had us stuffed with some coming home. Really, really, really good tzatziki. Well definitely be going back if not ordering take out.
Pre-ordered and still waited upon arrival, was not notified that salad was not Greek, only 1 screwer of meat, vinaigrette was thicker than mayonnaise, food was mediocre, and price was not reflective! First time trying and was not at all impressed, won t bother again.

Not restaurant quality. Our take out plates were not appealing. Food was nothing to write home about. Had to pay an extra $4.00 to have Greek salad to my souvlaki plate . Isn t this what you go to a Greek restaurant for? A Greek salad with your meal? Very disappointed with the food and presentation

Was really pleasantly surprised by Parea! My partner and I ordered two different mains (Kalamata chicken and pork gyros platter) and a spread (taramosalata) and everything was excellent. We brought home leftovers and they reheated great too. Looking forward to our next visit!

The portions were tiny and the food was bland. Will never go back. Sorry. In response to owner inquiry: me and my friend both got take out chicken souvlaki platters which amounted to one skewer, about 5 potato wedges and about a 1/4 cup of rice each. We both were still hungry after. For the price, it was not sufficient. Perhaps it is not representative of what others have received but I have to say we were disappointed.
The food was simply delicious. So good. We tried both platters and that was enough for 4 people and took some back home. The service was also very good.
Ive had many different Greek and Lebanese baklavas before. Pareas baklava is the best Ive ever had. Its not dry and the sweetness level is just right.

I always drive downtown on Bank street to get greek food so I was excited to try this new place near my house after reading the good comments. However, after eating my plate, it was a bit of a disappointment... the portions were generous but the rice tasted more like a mexican rice and the overall flavor of the meal didnt tasted like greek from the dressing used for the salad to the spices/herbs for the potatoes and grilled chicken which were lacking. Not what I was expecting from a greek restaurant unfortunately.

I was really hoping to like this place. We ordered via Uber Eats for dinner and received 2 helpings of uncooked chicken. We end up tossing out all our dinner and wasting 65$. Hoping it was a fluke and that this doesnt happen to anyone else, but not going to order from them again anytime soon.

Ive been to Parea twice now, for an anniversary and a birthday. Both times the food has been phenomenal, the service friendly, with prompt table delivery after placing our order. I recommend the calamari, dolmades, gyros, tzatziki and pita, and the lemon potatoes. Nice to not have to travel to downtown for Greek eats.
This Greek authentic restaurant is a must try. The restaurant is very nice and bright. The cleanliness is impeccable and the staff are very friendly. Very happy for this amazing Greek restaurant in Orleans. Let me say finally! My daughter and myself adored the gyro platter and it was so plentiful and filling! It was so amazing and the quality of the food was superior. Loves the Mykonos spread and let us transport us back to Mykonos. The other platter looked so delicious. Also, I was provided with above and beyond table service.
We went to this restaurant for dinner last night with friends. The service was outstanding, and the meal was extremely good. I had a shrimp dish and it was so delicious. We all enjoyed ourselves and we will be back.

We just had the chicken souvlaki stick (parea size it)...and it was soo good!! Chicken was so good, the rice delicious, the potatoes...miam , i had to share my pita....and I regret it as it was so good with the tzaziki ! and a great greek salad! I picked up 20 minutes after placing the order, staff was friendly, food was hot. I strongly recommend you try it!

Great first time experience dining at Paréa. The space clean and bright, the service was great and the food is excellent. Food portions are generous and the quality is top notch. Highly recommend the dolmades and the lamb chops. Looking forward to my next visit!
Very good restaurant, food is excellent and not too heavy. Portions are huge, and the restaurant is nicely decorated. We had the calamari, spanakopita, and pork gyro wrap platter and everything was great!

Its pretty good. I really appreciate that its just real, healthy food. Lots of choices on the menu and it was easy to find food to order for my three young children. I like the convenience of an easy meal for my family that isnt overly processed. However my chicken was a bit dry and tough, and the rest of the food was good but didnt wow me in terms of flavour. If Im going to spend money on a restaurant, Id like it to be better than something I can cook myself. I will definitely give it another try though.

Excellent greek food!! So happy this is located in Orleans. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki platter and it was very flavourful and large potions. This will be my new go to restaurant.

Amazing Parèa Authentic Greek food on Tenth Line, Fallingbrook Mall in Orleans. Everyone has to try their amazing chicken slouvaki and awesome lamb chops. It is so good!!!
As someone who travels to Greece often, I can honestly say best authentic food in Ottawa. Staff was very attentive and owners wonderful. Definitely a gem in Orleans! Dietary restrictions: Shellfish allergies were accomodated.
Located inside Eggspress. This restaurant turns from breakfast restaurant (Eggspress) to Greek place (Parea) at night. The food itself was very tasty and served hot. The appetizers were quick but the main course took a very long time. The service was friendly, attentive and helpful, except for when we needed to pay at the end there was a very long wait for our bill while she chatted with other tables (a good 25 minutes). The reason Im giving 2 stars is because all 5 of us had upset stomachs after. The venue high ceiling venue carries a lot of sound and they play the music pretty loud, making it hard for conversation.

Absolutely delisious! Food is so full of flavour, the staff so friendly. My new favorite restaurant. I almost did not post this it is too good to share. First time we ordered take out we had 3 meals and everything was repeatable and just as delisious. Seriously give this restaurant a try!
Loved the Santorini shrimp meal and in fact the whole meal was highly flavorful including the decadent baklava cheesecake, rounded out by the kind attentions of our gracious host, Nick.
Just had souvlaki and shrimp platters. We had never tried their food or been in their restaurant. The dining room is very clean and nicely decorated. We had decided to do takeout tonight because of a busy Christmas schedule. The entire meal was delicious. The server even realized that he had made a mistake in our bill when charging for a side dish. He came and asked to see our bill and his suspicions were correct he had overcharged us by $5.00. He apologized and handed me a $5.00 dollar bill. We would never have known the difference. That kind of honesty seems to be more and more rare today. It deserves to be mentioned.
Ordered take out through Uber for the first time and was not disappointed in the least with my choice! Went with the chicken souvlaki platter. Chicken was moist and flavourful, potato wedges were crisp, rice was amazing, and the salad was lovely. Husband stole the pita and I m told it was delicious as well! Will definitely be ordering again, well done!
