The burgers were so gross my grandkids wouldnt eat them & they LOVE burgers. Got the kids meal & even with the coupon was still super expensive...tiny burger, few fries, chocolate milk & no toy just a root beer lollipop...for 6$! I had their poutine...it wasnt bad & with the coupon...Had the teen burger too...it was ok...not as good as they used to be back in the day. At least the frosted root beer was worth it!

Service is a bit slow

I had a burger with french fries here today, the burger was good, but the fries were cold, I asked them to change the fries, but even after changing they were not hot enough and looked like being cooked hours ago, very disappointed.

This is my familys favorite place for breakfast! Great food and excellent service. Parking: There is plenty of parking in this plaza. I have been going to this restaurant for years and I have always had no problem getting parking here. There are more parking spots then the restaurant Patrons need. Kid-friendliness: This restaurant location is kid friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: There is enough room for wheelchair accessibility.

We got lunch at the drive-thru on Sunday February 11. Cannot express enough how nice we go treated by the employees over the speaker and at the window. It has been a long time since we encounter people this nice and not cranky or rushed. The food was as good as we requested.

I m using the coupon for ordering the breakfast on 10/12,the A&W staff said I need tear off the coupon for her.But from the day I start using the A&W coupon I never need to tear off the coupon i see the other customers no need to do so for many many times too.I and my family have been for breakfast over 10 times a month in any other A&W and including this one.Never need to do this so that I can reuse the coupon .very disappointed for the experience in ordering the breakfast today from 1830 Merivale Rd .if I dun have coupon I can have a lot of other choice for my meal .

This location used to be good. Now they serve OLD product... Gravy was UNDER 140 degrees. Burger was UNDER 140 degrees. **YES... I carry a thermometer with me (for this very purpose)** This place is going to make people sick. Not sure how they passed their health inspection. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! ***EDIT*** They try to offer a gift card instead of an actual refund to try to combat negative revenue. Super shady practice! ***OTHER EDIT*** I believe this location is committing fraud... as our original receipt showed a total of $23 and change... but the original charge was for $31 and change... ***further edit pending***

Breakfast food quality has really fallen off a cliff. The bacon egger is basically airline food quality. Sad. Location is clean and well kept and staff are friendly. Food isn t what it was though. This will be the last time I go to any A&W for breakfast.

Service was extremely slow, mostly in waiting to place my order. Seating was very limited. When you ask for scrambled eggs, you get a fried egg that you have to cut up yourself to make it look scrambled. Breakfast is overpriced for just classic breakfast. For the price, you can dine in at a lot of restaurants and get the bacon you cant see through and home fries. These issues were specific to this location. I havent noticed this at any other A & W location, besides price of course.

Easy, convinient, quick and good tasting breakfast. Hash browns are always crispy and hot here, but this time I was a bit disappointed, it was greasy tasting and not even warm.

I spent $23; I ordered a 5 piece chicken strip combo with a poutine, and root beer. There was one other person in the drive thru. The workers forgot to give me the root beer I had to ask for it twice, they gave me 4 chicken strips, charged me for an extra fry and a poutine. Why bother asking me what sauce I want if you re not gonna give me any. I want it refunded!!!! terrible service as someone who works in the food industry this is embarrassing. This location is super yummy, and I don t mind coming back here and there however when I received my food today, the fries were cold, and my burger did not taste thoroughly cooked around the edges of it. I understand that working at a fast food chain can be stressful at times too. Overall, the other times I ate from here were good.

Was just there to get a original breakfast and they had no bread for toast. I mean, it strange to offer breakfast but then not to have the product. They had English muffins but in the end i just canceled my order and had the coffee. Brought it to my bike and the lid wasnt on right and spilled half of it on my bike. I like the new look of the restaurant.

This A&W will make you feel like youre back in the 90s with how often they mess up your order. Pancakes?? Lucky if you get syrup and butter with it. Breakfast sandwiches with sesame buns? Youll probably get the English muffin. Its not once in a while, either, its literally every time. Check your entire order, or be prepared to do a 360 and go back to the window.

What is the point of online ordering (for it to be ready in 3-6m according to the app) for you to get told you have to reorder at the cash to put your order in again and wait an additional 5-10m? What a complete waste of time. The whole reason to use this app was because Im on a deadline and to avoid lines.

Other franchises (especially Elgin St McDonalds) here is a lesson (for free, like your smiles were in the past, and as your franchise owner s scowls and refusals to allow washroom use to Uber Eats drivers are in the present): treating customers well and offering lettuce wraps pay off. This is the second time that the price posted on the screen at the drive-thru was a lower amount then what I was charged at the window. Increase of just over a dollar each time. Workers that there was anything different. I should learn my lesson and go elsewhere.

First time coming to this location and wow! A mug frosting station to serve your drinks nice and cold, and the food was good as expected from an A&W. They also call your name and deliver your food to your table. Just to notch service and experience.

Just went in the drive thru and my bf and I decided to pay the 13.75 with the abundance of coins we had in the car. Normally people would be annoyed with change like that but the lady at the window, I wish I grabbed her name (she was maybe east-Indian with glasses) but she was so lovely! Had a nice mini convo with her and she was almost hyped up to see the change as a payment! She was just very kind and enticed me to leave a good review. A lot of people aren t happy and kind like that right off the bat!

Opens at 6am to go into. 24h drive through. Friendly happy staff. I wandered in at 6:45am and had 3 happy staff serve me. Highly recommended for early morning breakfast if you are in the area

Eggs were not completely cooked (the white was still translucent), and they were cold - probably because they put cold tomato slices on top. But the service was great. There was an older gentleman who got his food delivered at his table with a smile.

Called this place asking for a coupon book before coming because last time I went to this location, the worker handed out one for me. I took it upon myself to call before coming because this location is far and I have an A&W location like five minutes away from my neighbourhood that I could have easily went to but they said they didn t have coupon books so I decided to call this metivale location and ask and the lady on the phone said they did so my friend and I drove all the way to the merivale location to get this coupon book and enjoy our meal. When we got there, the same lady who was on the phone telling us that there was coupon books ( WHICH SHE SAID VERY CONFIDENTLY ON THE PHONE), told us that there was no coupon books. I asked her if there was anything she could do because we had called 15 minutes prior and this location is very out of the way, on top of that my friend and I told her that she said there was coupon books, and still , she said no there s nothing I can do.i said okay whatever and got myself a meal and my friend got hers. The lady was apologizing but I just found it kind of insane the fact that we called before hand and she didn t even have the courtesy to check when were on the phone with her and just spewed out random words on the phone that she wasn t even sure of. When we were there we asked her if she had coupon books and THATS WHEN SHE CHECKWD if there was and told us no there s no more. Like why not just check while we are on the phone? There is a reason why people call before coming just very annoying and unpleasant experience. Such a waste of time.
