Small burger restaurant, but with a great chef and burgers i like it

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger. No cheese and donair meat instead of bacon. Also ordered the bacon and pineapple chicken. No bacon (donair meat again) and no pineapple.

I had a classic burger. It was really delicious.

my #1 to go when feeling lazy to cook and need a quick decent bite. their overwhelming kindness gets me every time. for the price you pay, this is the best cheeseburger you can get. but the real gem is their pasta, believe it or not! you will be surprised I guarantee you. P.S. it s not fair that all these old reviews from five and seven years ago still showing up first. if you agree leave them a positive review as well.

i m a big burger connoisseur. i have tried burgers all over ottawa. by far this family owned business is my favourite. the burgers here are out of this world. haven t tried a burger spot better than this one. great convenience since it s right downtown. very close to the university. fyi it is halal and delicious. toppings tasted fresh, which sometimes i notice some stores don t care about. perfect pricing for these burgers. i ll never stop going here!!! please try it out if you haven t already it will change your life!!!!!! Vegetarian options: Veggie and and Halal options. not too sure on kosher regulations.

I ordered the Canadian burger. The burger was cooked fresh to order and customized to my toppings. Surprisingly, the burger was juicy and marinated with a spiced blend. I was expecting a preformed patty and these burgers were hand made. Burger and service were both a 10 out of 10. Thank you and I will be back! Parking: Bunch of 15 minute parking areas in front of the restaurant.

Meat is seasoned so well and the toppings and sauces to die for ! I can t believe I never found this spot before. It s a gem and the workers are so kind !

( Legit in the middle of eating my burger) Was looking for a spot near me because i was tired of spending 30$ on uber eats each time i craved a burger. This place was amazing! The prices are super good for students and the food is so filling! The seasoning is 10/10 and this will definitely be substituting my uber eats obsession. The worker was also super friendly and helpful.

The seasoning of the meat, that they do themselves in house for their beef patties, is unfuckwithable!! You literally get the same succulent juicy seasoned taste that you d get from a 20-30$ burger from a big chained restaurant!! The owner and his son are a great duo, and have a great energy to them. 10/10 welcoming atmosphere in here! Real comfort burger food, I wouldn t go anywhere else in the city, not even out of convenience. If you are in the city or have the possibility to stop here, you must!!

Honestly the best burger at a decent price ive had in years . You must try their custom home made hot chutney . Something special. May soon be available in bottles !

Met the owner while playing some table games. He recognized one of the players as one of his customers, which to me is a good sign of customer service. Decided to try his spot the next day and it did not disappoint! Got the combo with a burger, small poutine, and a pop. Burger patty def felt homemade and was super flavorful. The poutine was killer too. Will def be recommending to friends and visit next time we re in Ottawa!

Called to verify if it was halal.. kind man was super rude ! When asked for the source of their meat.. was replied with I don t know why I m on the phone with you bro, come into the store. I don t got time to talk to you I would assume it was the business owner or a relative of thee.. but this gentleman had zero regard for customer service Was really looking forward to trying their burgers .. but I unfortunately cannot support this outrageously unacceptable service. I may give them a second chance in the future. Watch out for my phone call .. yours truly.. the local guide of Ottawa

Really great burgers with a great price as well! Best part of the place is that all the meat is halal and locally sourced. The owner is one of the best people Ive met so far in Ottawa and he was kind enough to provide me with all details when I enquired about the source of the meat. Definitely recommended to try!

I was so stoked to find out they do delivery! Small town vibe- as in, they take pride in their food and are eager to please. They are connected to pizza lovers next door. Only place, ANYWHERE, these days where you can buy 2 bacon cheese burgers for under 20. BEFORE inflation and Trudeaus insane tax rises 2 burgers were under 10 bucks!!.... so its one of the only affordable places for a good meal, and close to the University. I love their food and cant wait to try more on the menu- though we love the regular all-dressed bacon cheeseburgers :) SIDENOTE: ask for no spice if you arent a huge fan of flavour. I love the way they come- however if your not huge on spice, request without.

Great food. Must try the Pina Grill Chicken burger. The green chutney is amazing and takes the game to a whole new level. The guy loves football and has a good sense of humour too.

I didnt find it lived up to the hype. Friends had told me the burgers were outstanding, but I didnt love...though certainly didnt hate it either. Just was a bit disappointed. Would I go out of my way to order from them again, probably not. Though if someone wanted to eat there it was edible so I wont say no. Could have just been a bad night.

Just got a burger, fries and soda here for Cad 9.49. it was good and satisfying. I am in a food coma. It was 10.47 with tax. and the service was awsome. I didnt tip (just not doing good right now) and the person making the food was still super nice and respectful. I really recommend this place.

The classic burger is delicious. It comes with banana peppers which adds nice flavour and the patty itself is juicy. The poutine is made with vegetarian gravy and is a generous size, so 1 box is enough to share between 2 people.

Average burger. Fresh but no wow factor. Too lean for me. I like more fat. Im not going to a burger joint for healthy eating. Yes fatty loose greasy burgers can take years off your life but....what fun are the years we enjoy! Id rather burn out than fade away

They have the cheapest yummiest veggie burgers you will likely find anywhere at just around $6 after tax, and their onion rings which come in a generous portion size are only around $5 after tax as well!

Halal and Lean. Had the Pina Grill Chicken... Added hot peppers and lettuce and mayo with a bit of BBQ sauce. Went with a group of ppl. We all enjoyed our burgers! Thanks a bunch! Dietary restrictions: Halal

Used to love going to this place. The cost and quality was perfect. Found out that they only have a partial halal menu and also serve pork. This was a turn off for me, Id rather support a Muslim business that sticks to its principles.

Went to pizza lovers beside it and it was amazing. For a traditional style pizza it looked amazing. I ended up getting the poutin and strongly recommend you do the same as well. Very good service and food. I will be back.

On the 27th Friday night I ordered a double bacon burger and I got very sick and had a stomache ache and vomiting, i wouldnt recommend this place to anybody.

Burned bacon. Under cooked beef. Tossed out most of my lunch in the garbage and threw the rest up. Food poisoning! Avoid!

Would love to give a negative star review. Placed amd paid for my order ($17) and never got it. Their website went down the second after i paid and their phone line wasnt being answered no matter the amount of times called. Not impressed at all. I get theirs a crisis but a simple call to let me know and a refund would be nice. Not going to ever buy from here and will be getting my money back. Thats forsure !

Every item I ve tried has been more than amazing and definitely puts this burger restaurant on my #1 best places to eat. They have great prices for the great service and amazing food choices.

This place has all the appearance of a giving a great burger and fries experience. However, the burger was dry and tasteless and even the honest attempt to garnish it with fresh ingredients fell short. Fries were from frozen and wooden. The lit up pictures of a juicy tasty burger in the windows should have been our first warning to stay away! Wont be going back, sorry.

I ordered from here last night. They quoted be three separate prices. The burger buns were really soggy, one patty was burnt, other one was under cooked. The burger was simply falling apart. And also I specifically asked for no onions, and there were onions. Not ever ordering from here again. I would not recommend this place.

Clean restaurant which has validated the health test. Homemade burger. I had the bacon burger, it was very good. You can choose the side dish from fries, onion rings, poutine, Greek salad and others. Milkshakes available and other cold drinks. Ready in 15-20 min. Friendly and thorough manager.

Nothing to brag about but they had fair selection and good portions for the dollar. I had the grilled chicken pineapple burger with bacon and it was a very nice mix of flavours. We used skip the dishes and everything we ordered showed up and was still warm.

I went there last night for the first time. This was the best burger that I had in Ottawa. Who would have thought? There are several decent burger places in Ottawa, but this experience was totally amazing! The service was great: attentive, timely, and friendly. The burger was not dry, I chose my own ingredients, and the buns were perfect. This is a hidden gem.

Good burgers! But they get a 4 star instead of 5 is the fact that they don t have a lot of options if you don t eat meat. I always end up ordering at a different place for me as they have nothing with fish.

I like Burger Lovers and eat there about once a month. Today I went in to pick up food and what I saw was disgusting. The girl behind the counter picked up raw beef patties, took peoples change, answered the phone and touched buns all without changing her glove. She even had an ungloved hand to be able to do the non-food duties and just used the same gloves hand for all of it. That is completely unsafe food handling practice, and is appalling. Super gross that theres raw meat juice all over the buns and change, and dirty money stuff all over the food. On top of that, she was curt and rude with customers. Super not impressed.

To be honest the burger is quite mediocre and its not very cheap, but its still a good place to buy takeout after school.

Burger was excellent I would recommend the meat lovers, lasagna tasted like no-name freezer pasta.
