Stellar food. Better service. Every time I go in here the staff are incredible. The food is always fantastic.

Tasty healthy food.. smaller location. You dont always find a place to sit. But the servers are very nice.

Service was really friendly and great, but there was an overwhelming amount of soy sauce added to the rice. Tuna was unfortunately not very fresh.

The Poke Bowls were fantastic!

Disappointed with my first experience. Received BARELY any salmon in my $21.95 before tax bowl, leaving me mostly with sushi rice. Fish was fresh and taste wise, it was good but for the portions, it s enough for a child, not adult. Needs to add more spicy mayo sauce as they were stingy on that too. Overall, meal wasnt fulfilling due to the SMALL proportions of salmon.

The food is fresh and really good. I built my own poke and there was a lot of choice. The guy serving us was really dynamic and nice. Would recommend anytime and will go back for sure once I come back to Ottawa

The girl who helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable! They have a great selection of toppings and sauces and everything tasted really fresh. It was the best poké bowl I ve had! I highly recommend this place.

Great little place! Take out only as there is literally one table at the window with two chairs. The food is fresh and super yummy and healthy. GF and vegan options available. Very busy but staff are quick and friendly. Dietary restrictions: GF options and they are careful to change gloves and utensils if you tell them you have allergies

Had the signature Lu au chicken bowl, toppings were fresh and tasty. The matcha lemonade was tasty as well. The rice does tend to stick & bond to the packaging, best to eat it straight away!

This is such an adorable place! The interior is fun, the staff is friendly and kind, and the service is fast. The poke bowls taste amazing as well. However, this place is a little pricey, so I definitely wouldn t come here everyday.

Paradise poke is my go-to spot any time I am visiting Ottawa. They are like a Subway but for Poke bowls and with very high quality ingredients. I would recommend the Hawaiian tuna bowl.

The food is exceptional. Everything is so fresh and delicious. Its the only place in Ottawa you can get poke at such high quality. The customer service was incredible and I left feeling like a million bucks. I encourage everyone to come check this place out! The Holland location is quite impressive - the portions are awesome too! Vegetarian options: The array of fresh veggies is great. Lots of selections and all looking delicious. Dietary restrictions: Hands down some of the best gluten-free food you can get in Ottawa. Id have to rank it #1

Ordered Uber eats from here . Very stingy with the salmon . Each bowl had about 4 small pieces of salmon , I get salmon is expensive however it is the main point of the dish so having it gone in a few bites is heavily disappointing . I have had poke at many other places in Toronto and never seen this little amount of salmon , I doubt they are using really high quality salmon so I don t get the reason to be chinsy. Their prices are around 18 dollars so with that price I would except a decent amount of protein .Also they forgot the sauce so I guess that added to my disappointment.

Picked up from the brand new Holland spot, got the standard ahi tuna bowl and a salmon bowl. Ingredients were super fresh, sauce had a nice zing to it, I had seaweed salad added, I suggest it. Friendly staff had the food out super quick. Ordered and paid from their website, easy. Will be back, great addition to the neighbourhood.

Not worth it although cute place. Ordered a poke bowl, 8 piece sushi and 1 handroll. Took over 30 minutes to get my food. The seaweed on the handroll was still in thebpackaging so i had a plastic wrapped seaweed wrapped around my handroll. Food is ok and but stingy with many ingredients

Me and my friend ordered their signature poke bowl Heat Wave. We both agreed that this tastes so bad and unfresh among all the poke bowls. We got four or five pieces of tiny salmon cube, and an amazing amount of cheap ginger slice& yellow pickled radish which are given free when you eat Korean or Japanese food. The price is $18 however. The mangos are sour, hard. I would say it s such a disappointment. Please improve your take out quality.

Disappointed with my recent experience here. Prices have gone up while it feels like protein portions get smaller each time I go. The man at the counter was extremely rude during my most recent visit. This will unfortunately be my last time at this establishment.

I love love love Paradise Poke! Had The Hawaiian today and it was fresh and absolutely delicious, as always! I had been craving it for quite a while since I hardly get downtown anymore but it was so worth the trip for a fantastic lunch! Owners and staff are always very friendly, too! Can t wait to go back again! Yum! Yum!

I enjoyed the poke and the staff was friendly. The salmon was good but the fish portion was very small. For the price, I expected a larger portion of meat and less rice (filler). Overall taste was good. Interior was fun. This is a good spot for takeout or a quick meal while dining in. Seats have outlets if you need to get some work done.

Always delicious and relatively healthy

I ve been coming here for a few years and it s always a wonderful experience. The staff are friendly. The owners are the most down to earth people and incredibly welcoming. The quality is top tier for Ottawa. I d have to disagree with other reviews about small portions. Paradise Poké offers a bowl that s filling and packed with the freshest ingredients. Out of all the restaurants I ve tried in the area for quick, quality and delicious take away, this is by far the best. If you find yourself in the neighbourhood or want a health conscious option in Ottawa I highly recommend stopping by!

You can see and taste the care put into the food. Always super friendly service and delicious food. Very happy they weathered both the pandemic and the downtown protest. Will be back!

Always the freshest ingredients and the nicest staff!

Along with many other members of our community I am appalled to learn about the harassment experienced by multiple employees of this restaurant. I used to eat here a lot and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Rather underwhelming experience. I guess I was expecting more from the reviews but their poke was average at best. There are other Japanese/Sushi places in town that serve better poke in my opinion.

Paradise Poke is one of the healthier takeout options downtown but the heat wave salmon bowl is ridiculously overpriced for what you get. $18 for a tiny amount of fish and mostly rice. In photos this is not apparent as the vegetables sit on top and are not mixed in.

BEST POKÉ IN TOWN!!! You cant go wrong... Its delicious everytime. My favorite is definitely the North Shore and they can accommodate you if you dont want the full bowl of rice that they usually give with your poké: they replace it with zucchini!

Really friendly service. Ordered the luau. From the sweet rice to the chicken and the various toppings, it was very well made and tasty.

After checking the hours on the website, I went to the Bank street location yesterday. I arrived at 6:05 pm and went inside. Immediately an employee yelled at me that they were closed, despite the fact that the door was open, there was still food on the counter, and the website says that they close at 7:30. Apparently they are starting new hours . The good news is that I found a freshii just a couple of blocks to the south that opened in 2020 . Problem solved! I guess Paradise Poké doesn t need customers anymore, which is good, since I will not be returning. Best of luck. From the sarcastic reply I received, I suspect it may have been this person who yelled at me when I visited. I ve uploaded a photo from your website showing the incorrect hours, which is still there (you know, since you ve accused me of lying )

Food is good and always fresh . But the customer services is not the best . And also the fact that they sell extra soy sauce for 1.25 cent . They should Offer regular soy sauce for free and maximum extra 20 cent .

Wow! It was at Paradise Poké that I discovered the Poké bowls, the best! We even have the option of changing the rice for zucchini noodles. Everything is fresh and crunchy. Vegetarian options: They have several options and we can even make our bowl according to our tastes and eating habits.

Dont bother eating here unless you are in the mood for a bucket of unflavored rice with a couple of ingredients sprinkled on top. That is a slight exaggeration but the rice to other ingredients ratio is very poor and regardless of how well you mix, you will be eating several bites of just plain rice. That might not be a bad thing though considering the low quality of the other ingredients. The Sweet Heat sauce is just not good. The tuna is a mix between raw and cooked that leave you wondering how it was supposed to actually be. Overall, very poor experience for quite a high price.

Service was excellent and efficient; staff were friendly. Went for their customer appreciation day for $12 bowl+drink which was an awesome deal for the amount of food you get. The heatwave was delicious: had loads of salmon and crunchy vegetables with a spicy mayo that was delightfully actually spicy. I felt a little sick after eating though and when I tried to eat my leftovers again.

We usually eat Poke Bowl from Burrito Sensei, but I wanted to compare. I took the Royal Hawaiian. I enjoyed the mango and edamame. Tuna was perfect. Quality is good but they added too much sauce, I like my rice being white and sticky, but the sauce made it black and juicy, which I dislike. Place is not better than the other place we usually go to, it is only different. Worth a try though.

Great menu with varying options, very friendly and engaging at the pay and pick up window and pretty quick on getting orders out even with a big amount of people waiting at lunch time. I had the Beet Goes On veggie bowl which I would get again.

Best poke bowls Ive had in Ottawa. Everything tastes so fresh and theres so many options to choose from. The fish pretty much melts in your mouth. Driving across the city to get some is totally worth it!

I found the service most excellent, though the food wasnt as good as other Poké I have had. They gave too much rice and the quality was a tad underwhelming. The staff were delightful the entire time I was there. I would prefer to share their bowl next time, or have the option of half rice/half salad.

Got double protein, fish portion so small that I would be scared to see what single protein looks like. Not enough sauce so whole thing tastes bland. Fish does not taste fresh either. Overall, definitely not worth it.

Review from 2021: Pretty disappointed with my recent experience. I was there for the lunch hour with a friend. We had been waiting to go for a few months and had a craving for this food. The staff member (no name but blonde) was rude and told me we couldn t eat there. It was surprising since their instagram said it was open. And her attitude is was baffled me the most. You can eat outside she said, even though there was a table available. Then she looked out and said we ll the weather is pretty bad but you ll have to find someplace that s not here. She was also giving attitude towards her colleague. The food was nice which is why they re still getting two stars. Review from 2020: Great, speedy service. Excellent, nutritious food. You feel like you re walking into paradise as soon as you open the door and hear the music. Love this place!!! What a great addition to the city, love love love

Ordered take-out bowls and they were very tasty. You can build you own bowls or select off the menu. Vegan items and gluten free items on the menu are clearly marked. They have tofu for plant based protein. Their soft serve is also vegan which you can load on with extra toppings.

I love Paradise Poke. The staff are great and the food is delicious. We have take-out every couple of weeks. It tastes great, it is always fresh, lots of flavours, it is healthy and it is filling. My favorite includes tuna and salmon on brown rice with mango, avocado, with several vegetables, crispy jalapenos and several sauces.
