Came for lunch and got the Piri Piri bowl. Overall the quality and flavor was great, I found the portion of chicken to be on the small side but the portion of everything else in the bowl was perfect. Still a great salad on the whole and while its on the pricey side (though standard with somewhere like green rebel) I think the value, flavor, quality were there to justify it.

The food tastes good but the serving size is almost half of a Mucho Burrito bowl for the same price and its mostly rice and lettuce. Only a very small amount of chicken just 4 little peices not even a full serving and a few peices of mango. For the same price get a much bigger bowl with better portions at Mycho Burrito. Otherwise the service was good and the food tastes good.

This is my first time back at Mad Radish since returning to the office post-pandemic (I was a regular before), and my second review of the place. I had to write another today, because my experience was so good! Service was quick and super friendly, which it always is. I asked for a lunch recommendation as its been a while, and was recommended the Piri Piri Chicken Bowl. Total knockout of a bowl - absolutely delicious sauce, crunchy, tasty, fresh, satisfying ingredients and a good portion. The girl that made it for me and rang me up at the cash was so friendly. You cant help but notice and appreciate when lunch comes with a genuine smile! I remember now why I loved this place so much. Ill definitely be back.

The Santa Fe bowl was excellent! Fresh and tasty. The bad part: I had the Cookies and Cream cookie and I COULD NOT eat it. It tasted very bad. Almost like this sweet cookie had sage? Eat the bowls, stay away from the cookies!

Very good place for flexitarian diets. The coconut curry corn chowder is to die for. Great vegan alternatives. It s all new and clean, very pleasant to go to. The vegan brownie is great but their cookies were absolutely horrible I tried all of them and they all tasted off. The rest has never disappointed me. Love their branding and marketing. Edit: I completely forgot to mention the staff. I was very well received everytime and could ask questions about items and get answers.

My first 2 visits were exceptional, the best tofu texture Ive had, good atmosphere, great service, sustainable packaging, great outdoor area, etc., but todays experience left to be desired. The smaller portion bowl ($10 instead of $15) was tiny (smallest soup size?), had only 3 ingredients (tofu was chewy, roasted broccoli was cold), the staff was somewhat sluggish and not paying attention to who was in charge of the cash. Im fairly certain the person after me left without paying. Definitely would recommend the full-size bowls and the lime tofu (as opposed to piri piri tofu). Vegetarian options: Superior vegetarian/vegan fast food Dietary restrictions: Excellent for healthy diets, low-carb diet, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan.

Food was the best and the service was remarkable

Just finished my bowl from max radish and it was to die for!!!! So delicious and the service was EXTREMELY quick. It s going to be difficult to visit any other locations because the staff at this location was so kind and helpful (shoutout Elissa). Can t wait to come back again!

Had the coconut curry chowder and it was the saddest soup. Not thick or creamy, hardly any flavour, one small slice of mushroom and 3 niblets of corn. So disappointing for a +$9 soup. Tim hortons soup would have been a million times better. Wish I took a picture of how sad it was. Bowls are good but soup was very bad.

I went in there for takeout and settled on a Barranquilla bowl. Food was great and service was fast! I was pretty hungry, however, and I found that the portion was less than I was hoping for. Perhaps as a suggestion, you might consider offering a large version of the bowl? Regardless, Ill certainly be going back.

I frequent here several times a week because the food is consistently so fresh and delicious, and the staff are always friendly and professional. Great job to the whole team that works here for doing an amazing job everyday that keep bringing people like me back for more.

Founders donated 200$ to the convoy that s blockading downtown Ottawa. Silver lining is they probably lost ALOT of money in revenue having to close down this branch because of the convoy they were so eager to support

So happy to see you guys reopen again. I was able to pay a visit today and I loved the service I was given. The great suggestion I was told before I ordered really helped me be familiar with the menu, she really explained it well!! This will be my go to place for my lunch break.

Had an amazing experience for my first time ! I can t remember her name but I want to say Jaylin, was the MOST sweetest girl ever and she really took her time to make sure I got what I wanted. The service was impeccable and will 100% be returning because of her. Oh and the food too. SOGOOD.

This has got to be the worst salad i ve ever had. Cheap chicken seasoning ingredients, extremely dry kale, tasteless corn. Left a horrible taste in my mouth. Thought the brownie would save it and it was so bad i couldnt even swallow it. What is in that brownie?! Answer to owner: it has nothing to do with employees. Service was actually great. Do not try to give clients a guilt trip. Quality of ingredients and recipes have nothing to do with them. Employees just follow instructions. FYI my stomach was upset for about 3-4 hours after that salad... Wish the owner could learn from reviews, and not be passive aggressive about them.

Finally tried Mad Radish on Slater today, on the recommendation of a colleague. What a fantastic experience from start to finish! The lineup moved quickly, and the staff were incredibly friendly, most especially the girl that helped me (wish I knew her name!) I chose a build-your-own salad, and its one of the best salads Ive ever had. Ingredients are super fresh, plentiful, and utterly delicious. The menu has lots of delicious variety and so much to choose from. I love the build-your-own-salad option, and its because of this Ill be a repeat customer. I normally go to Green Rebel (had never heard of Mad Radish before), but they dont have a build-your-own salad option, which is what I always wanted there. I love that they have an app that you can order from. This means no waiting in lines, and just zipping in and out to get your meal. Pricewise, its what Id expect to pay for an upscale salad joint, and on par with other similar locales nearby. Mad Radish, youve won my business. Highly recommend!

Yum! Mad Radish is a great place for Vegan, Vegetarians and everyone else too! The only thing I would like to see more of is carbs. I LOVE carbs, especially breads and they dont have enough of them. Other than that an AMAZING place to get a super healthy meal to get you through your long day.

I ordered through ritual and it was great! Very quick and easy despite being super busy during the lunch hour. I got the caramel iced onion and cheese sandwich and it was super tasty. Highly recommend!

I rarely write reviews however, this level of poor customer service moved me to do so. Its a real shame because the food is soooo amazing! The manager in charge does not take ownership for delays or explain to the customers if there is an issue. I was waiting for a warm ingredient and had already paid instead of advising me that there would be a wait time he just pushed me aside. I kept seeing everyone elses order get pushed before mine. Im patient no problem just communicate with me. He doesnt seem capable of customer interaction. Finally the hot ingredients started coming out from the back he slams the wrong ingredients on my bowl and realizes it looks at me and pushes it to the side and whispers to the staff to remake it. Instead of explaining this to me, again he just passes it off and hands me a new one after waiting 15 minutes. Save yourself the trouble and go to the other locations! The food is amazing but customer service on Slater needs some serious work!

Although a bit pricey, I love this place. The salads are always fresh. The Taco salad is my favorite. At work we were all fans of the coconut macaroon; unfortunately, they are not longer making it.

Smaller than the Metcalfe location but also a bit less crowded. Great and friendly staff!

I ordered the BBQ Cauliflower today for lunch. Although the salad was tasty, it didnt meet my expectations simply for not being as advertised and not sharing with me that they were out of certain ingredients. For starters, the BBQ cauliflower (one of my favourite things!) was raw, and second, there was no corn. This was replaced with broccoli without informing me. If Im going to spend that much on a salad and have a variety of options, please let me know what Im getting since I might opt for a different item! My rating is solely based on the lack of information when I ordered, since I did have two options in mind and went for this one given the ingredients which ended up being missing. The food was good otherwise. Please be upfront with your customers when they place their orders. If you dont have something, let them know - they might pick something else.

Ordered the Smoky Caesar for the first time today. I have eaten at Mad Radish fairly regularly and this is my first review. The food has always been fresh, the staff has always been friendly and willing to help. Once they were out of their Vegan BLT sandwiches and they made one for me right then and there. Great service, fresh ingredients and tasty food will keep me coming back.

I ordered the espresso smoothie and it was not good. I think the ratio was off as well as the base of the smoothie that they keep in the fridge might have been sitting there for days or even a week. It did not taste good at all. If you want pure banana smoothie then you might like this but for me I wanted a coffee flavour and this smoothie did not delivered. The service was okay, none of the workers seem to really want to be there. Overall, not the best experience I have had at Mad Radish.

Overpriced but good

Ive been to Mad Radish a bunch of times now, and the salads are always very tasty. However, I have to say that Im pretty disappointed most times when I go - at $14+ dollars for a salad, the serving sizes are simply too small. For instance, I went today and bought a Smoky Caesar. The take out bowl is already not very big, but it wasnt even filled up! I picked it up off the counter and was surprised to feel the contents tumbling around because there was so much extra space inside. Ive uploaded a photo to show it... you can see that the food barely even reaches the bottom line of the bowls rim. The contents are pretty much level too, so they could have probably fit an addition 15-20% more salad in there, considering the domed shape of the lid. Its just very off-putting and unsatisfying when you fork out so much money and get such an ungenerous amount. As much as I like the food, I dont think I can allow myself to go back, on principle, because its just terrible value.

I eat here often for a quick and healthy lunch, everything has been delicious (Cobb salad, harvest bowl, falafel bowl, etc) up until today when I tried the pumpkin soup ... Very thin, and not much flavour at all! Obviously Ill keep coming back, just wont ever order that soup again, couldnt even finish it!

I went to the preopening for lunch, I think the grand opening is on July 7th. I ordered a ginger chicken salad and a spicy chickpea hand pie, both were delicious. During the rush I didnt realise my salad was missing the chicken, but still very tasty.

Nice atmosphere. A taco salad with chicken is close to 20$, and other then the avocado I dont see any ingredients commanding this premium. It was fairly light on all other toppings which were carefully measured out. The food isnt bad, its just completely off the price point for what is available nearby. Green Rebel is across the street, and while the lineups can be lengthy, the salads are supreme and the pricing is on point.

Happy to see a place like this open in the area. Healthy food, variety of options and price points for everyone. Very friendly staff that is always looking to help
