The food is very good, service is wonderful.

Affordable, authentic Indian food at a convenient location.

1 star just because we did eat 25% of food. We did a pick up for platter for 2 but food was more than enough for 3 people, instructions given was food should be indian spicy, instead we received super bland food, no flavours. It did not taste fresh, discarded 75% of food.

As usual, the food is incredible. Treat yourself either eat in or take out. You will not be disappointed.

Came for the first time and wow it was sooo good. We are surely going to come back!

Mias on St. Laurent is possibly the best Indian food in Ottawa. Ive been going there to eat and getting take out for 10 years now and I wouldnt consider ordering from any other Indian resturant in Ottawa. The owner and staff and very friendly and will go out of their way to assist or make suggestions

Best Indian food in the city as far as Im concerned, and at very reasonable prices! Couldnt speak to its authenticity though. I like to call ahead for some tikka or butter chicken from work, and its consistently ready for takeout by the time I get there 20-30 minutes later. Still hot when I get home too! Havent ever actually been inside, but again, the food is great and very reasonably priced!

Mia s is our favourite Indian restaurant in the city. We ve ordered from them lots of times and every time it is consistently excellent. The naan bread is the best I ve ever had and we also love the chicken masala, chicken dansak, and saag aloo. We ve also eaten in the restaurant a few times and the service was very good. I definitely recommend giving Mia s a try!

We ve often had take out from Mia s but decided to dine in and were not disappointed! The food was fantastic - flavourful and spicy. The service was attentive and very friendly. It was such a great experience, we ll definitely be back to dine in soon!

My family and I just had the most pleasant evening eating here tonight! We have been ordering in from Mia s for years since we live in the neighborhood but decided to dine in tonight and it was somehow so much better! The food was amazing as it always is but it was so hot and fresh and the tandoori sizzled on the table in a way it never could in a takeout container. The people who work here were so kind and getting to meet them and talk about the food made it so much more of an experience on top of a meal. Their food is so good, I can t recommend Mia s enough! Going in person is something we couldn t do at the height of the pandemic and are lucky to have the chance to do now! Vegetarian options: So many amazing vegetarian options :)

Wonderful northern Indian cuisine in very friendly atmosphere

Small restaurant with around ten tables. I loved the butter chicken, lamb korma and their naan bread. Their mulligatawny soup was ordinary. The mango lassi was good. I went there twice and the first time, the naan bread was only served once our plates were finished. The second time it was served at the same time. I would go back without hesitation! Negative points: not accessible for reduced mobility and no parking, we had to park the car in the old Dairy Queen parking lot.

Discovered this place while living in Vanier 5 years ago. Live in South Keys and will make the trip for an amazing butter chicken.

Disappointing. Ordered takeout and the korma was too sweet with very little depth, and the vegetables seemed to come from a frozen bag. The naan bread was too thick, and the pakora was essentially one large battered deep fried cauliflower floret. Samosas were alright but the sauce with them was underwhelming. I will not be ordering again.

You wish to eat authentic food of India from the east this is the place I would go. taste of the food here takes me back to childhood memories of my mom cooking food for me. Amazing atmosphere, the people in the restaurant made me feel like home. Too good

Good things first. This place has very tasty food and excellent customer service! But the restaurant wasn t the cleanest. The tables were sticky and and there was a very bad smell throughout the restaurant. The staff were so kind though

Ordered pickup and food was ready in 5 minutes . The Beef Vindaloo was not the best. I have had better. Tasted watered down or like food that was warmed up from a freezer. The samosas were okay. Naan bread was good. Overall a $42 meal not so tasty.

I got their dinner for two to share with my partner and oh my goodness we were blown away with the food. Huge portions, very reasonably priced, and not to mention the food itself was absolutely delicious. We went here because of recommendation of a friend who states that this is the best Indian food restaurant in Ottawa and I believe it! Thank you very much, would be for sure coming back again if we weren t travelling through town.

I live in Montreal and this is my favourite Indian restaurant! Sooo delicious! Try the dansak and dont miss the samosas and garlic naan. Seriously, everything Ive tried here over years that Ive been coming is delicious. Not too greasy or too spicy. Everything is seriously awesome.

Ordered veggie samosas, saag paneer, butter chicken, curry beef (medium spice), rice, and garlic naan bread. Deeeelicious! So good. So fresh! The portions were very generous. I highly recommend this little gem. The owner was very welcoming and kind.

Food was delicious! Service was excellent. This is a little humble looking establishment that has some of the best Indian food my group has had. Very reasonably priced. I will make my way back here again next time I m in Ottawa.

What a gem ! Great quality food - nicely spiced madras ( no coconut- just heat !! - thank you ) the best naan we have had for years - perfect chicken biriyani - very thin pastry on the samosas - and amazing fillings Nothing to fault on the food - a very happy find. We are now total fans - best curry house in Ottawa so far and the staff are pretty cool as well. Small place -and does get busy but your patience is rewarded with quality food

I was violently ill from my my order with food poisoning. Be wary as not all the food is fresh and it is easy to mask with spices.

It was ok. Not really the greatest in Ottawa like their site claims. Nothing was bad, but most things were under seasoned and the chana masala was not saucy.

Mias Indian Cuisine has proved to be excellent and caring in catering food for large group of people. We ordered about 80 packets of chicken biryiani from Mias kitchen. Everyone appreciated the sumptuous chicken biryiani and the quantity as well. I strongly recommend Mias Indian Cuisine-St Laurent without slightest hesitation.

The food might be good but the owner (Bangladeshi origin) Musharaf is a very dishonest person who never returned thousands of Dollars back to us as our deposit for his house rental in Orleans. We were foreigners and had to leave Canada hence his opportunity to pocket our money since there won t be anyone following up with him. Shame on you for robbing my young kids funds. Good authentic indian or pakistani food in Ottawa. Its a small restaurant in size and they have a patio as well.

We just chanced upon this restaurant on our way to Ottawa. We had family visiting from India and were comfortable with Indian cuisine. The food was very homely and authentic. The owner was very helpful in suggesting favorites. Recommend this place 100%

We got the vegetarian combo for two. It was amazing! Good portion of food for a good price.

Yummy food, quick service, and the staff were friendly. We would go again. Lots of takeout staff coming and going, so that is also a good sign that the food is good. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian dishes and appetizers.

Pretty tasty and good quality food. For locals this is probably a solid source but Im not gonna say its worth making a special trip. Restaurant is very nice, servers generally leave you alone so its a good spot for a quiet meal.

Just moved to the neighborhood recently and first tried takeout, dined in house last night, both were great, food was excellent, service was friendly and helpful. Did not wait long for food to arrive at our table. Definitely worth checking out.

We started with the Appetizer Platter for Two: bland, funky texture, the chicken tikka was rubbery and may have undercooked. The waiter used his apron to wipe our plates. We started with the Appetizer Platter for Two, a mixed plate of samosa, onion bhaiji, pakura, shish kabob and chicken tikka, served with salad and tamarind sauce and a mint dip. What a great thing to share for two people. Our main was the Chicken Jalfraji (medium spice) and it was one of the best dishes weve tried, unique in flavour - definitely not the same-old-same-old. The service was really great too. Quiet the gem.
