Trattoria Caffè Italia in Ottawa

The food was ok, it use to be better, I use to love the chicken parmigiana but they changed something to it and it taste more bland now. The restaurant is also a little over priced as well. We had a waitress called Maggie and she was pretty cold with us. When you spend that kind of money and order a bottle of wine, there is a certain minimum service you would expect. It took her over 20min to greed us which is not acceptable. Then barely smiles, very cold with us as if she didn t feel like being there. We literally had to look for her to get service from her, she was barely there. For a 250$ bill, the service & food did not live up to the expectation. I can see the other bad reviews here and the replies are pretty robotic, simply asking to give them another shot. This really ciments the fact that they truly don t care anymore like they once did. But it use to be good before, we use to go 3-4 times a year for a couple of years, so I still have hope and might actually give them one last shot in a few months hoping they change a few things around as we do like to support local & family businesses. If it gets better I will definitely update this review as well with all fairness.

Our first time dining in Little Italy. Great food, wine, and service.

The pasta, especially the lasagna was delicious, as was the fried fish. The waitress was adorable and very welcoming. The only negative point was the tiramisu which did not live up to this classic of Italian cuisine.

We had approximately 40 people travelling from out of town for our wedding so we hosted a welcome dinner the night before our wedding at Trattoria Caffe Italia. We dealt with Maggie in coordinating this dinner and she was amazing to deal with. She was willing to work with our menu and drink needs and was always quick to answer. On the evening of the dinner, guests were amazed at how great the food was and how big the portions were. We were also surprised at how the restaurant had gone out of its way to decorate their chalk boards with congratulatory messages for us and even printed custom menus indicating our names and the event. They were little things but something that felt so special the night before the big day. If youre looking for a place to host your welcome dinner or rehearsal dinner that s in a central location, near lots of free and paid parking, reach out to them!

Started off with the owner, or whoever was dealing with the reservations, not believing we had one, even though we saw our dads name in the reservation book. We said his name before the man even opened the book, and he still did not believe us, only believing us when our dad came in and said the name. They also didnt tell my sister where our table was and told her to call us. We had a reservation for 6:30 and received our food finally at 9. Our server was very kind, but we were told multiple times that our food was going to be ready soon. They said that they were going to do other tables before us, and this was around 8 oclock. We saw other people sit down after us and receive their food way before we did. We are unsure why they continued to forget about us. The worse part is we went for my brothers birthday and this was the service that was given to us.

We dined at the Trattoria tonight for my husbands birthday and had the best experience! Food was absolutely delicious-- rigatoni and veal piccata were so good. Excellent wine selection-- cant wait to come back and explore the menu further! We have already decided that this will be a new go to place.

08/28/2024 We went to celebrate our anniversary tonight and brought Mom with us. I so appreciate this establishment they continously serve fresh, good food. They never rush us and always make us feel welcome.Consistence makes this place my favorite restaurant. Even with all of the upheavals they have faced over covid, the service, which I consider above par, the food, amazing flavours, are always what I have come to expect and truly enjoy. Their prices are reasonable which makes this restaurant a great place to go with friends and family for a meal whether it be for lunch or supper.

I ordered chicken on the grill, and my other friends ordered pasta and lasagna. The portions were great, the taste was excellent, and the food was served at the perfect temperature. We were welcomed with hot bread and a bottle on the side, which was a nice touch. The staff was friendly, and the manager/owner had a respectful and joyful attitude.

Excellent traditional dining experience. Interested in coming back to spend a bit more time with the wine list. Suggest wait staff should invest a bit more time in explaining extent of wines available but service itself was fantastic. A great asset on Preston Street.

I was such a fan we ended up eating dinner here twice on my recent trip to Ottawa. Their seafood pasta is amazing, super fresh and an excellent sauce. Our waitress (we were lucky enough to have the same one twice) was such a sweetheart I felt like we were her adopted children for the night. Great service and a great meal. Perfecto!

Great food and service. Highly recommend the veal piccata, deep fried zucchini and the gnocchi. We dined in and then 3 days later ordered takeout in Uber Eats. Next time will take photos to share! I ve never been spoken to so rudely with no provocation. My husband and I were sitting on the restaurant steps while waiting for our Uber to keep dry from the rain. The minute the man (perhaps the owner) opened the door we immediately apologized and moved without him even having to tell us to move. We shouldn t have sat on his steps. But when we stood against the building trying to stay dry he kept telling at us that he doesn t provide dry space to people and we had to move immediately from the side walk . We said it s raining and it s city property. He then cited that his customers like to look out the window to which we said there is no one sitting along this section. Meanwhile another couple was standing further down with a couple sitting at the table in that window and he never spoke to them. He wouldn t leave us alone. We felt so centred out for no reason and it was just so unkind. My husband and I had just said it looked like a nice restaurant but he was just mean . He doesn t deserve youre business.

The trout was very small and overcooked. But their veal parmegan and pasta very yummy. Parking: There used to be self parking in the back. But now they have someone cramming cars in... not comfortable leaving my keys with someone nowadays when new vehicles are being stolen.

Celebrated our 20th anniversary here, and it was great. The antipasto was just the right size for two. She had the Linguine Pescatore, and I had the Cannelloni della Casa. Both dishes were perfect. The dinner service was wonderful as well. This was our first time at Trattoria Caffé Italia it will not be our last.

I have been here many times and every time the food is excellent. The food is always near perfect! This is a very good all rounded Italian restaurant. The lasagna is a must try here!

Overpriced and bland. Do not recommend. If you like good Italian food, this place isnt it. A meandering menu and lack of specials of the day should have been a warning. When you charge nearly $30 for a simple helping of lasagna, it shouldnt seem to have been scooped from an M&M package. Our dishes tasted like microwaved food way and were presented without any imagination. The only redeeming feature is the wait staff who genuinely seem to do their job with care and deserved their tip. Preston is full of good restaurants. I wont be back.

absolutely the worst experience i ve had in ottawa since i ve arrived here. We went before the dinner rush, while the place was absolutely empty. Had one drink, waited a ridiculous amount of time for a second and got nothing but attitude from the manager! not even her staff were as unprofessional and passive aggressive! the furniture wrecked my pants, which i was not even going to mention until this person decided they were too.. whatever to treat us like we were worth treating with a modicum of dignity and respect. This was my first experience in Ottawa s little italy. I could not believe that she was so crude and useless - and then she charged us for a second round we didn t even drink because her attitude was so completely offputting. the owner came and listened to the problem as IF. that is NOT a problem you listen to. that is a problem you comp, then fire the person responsible for. absolutely the worst experience i ve had in ottawa. hands down. that manager should find a career she s quailified for- like rock quarry.

I stopped by after showing up an hour early for a show in the area. Was so welcome by the friendly atmosphere, and Dominic who taught be about wine and shared his love of Italy. I will most definitely return agin soon!

Beat restaurant in Ottawa and I own restaurants in Ottawa! Authentic Italian food in the best atmosphere in the city. Kelly and rest of the staff are amazing.

Had a reservation for 7:30 - it is Italian fest so we knew it would be busy hence the reservation. We were seated at 8, two hours later we still hadn t gotten our mains, while the party behind us who were seated at exactly the same time were already done eating. We left. There was zero effort on the part of the staff or management to make it right.

We just had a very bad day experience. We had dinner reservation at 7pm. By 8h15 we received our salad appetizers and the warm appetizers came 20 minutes later, 1h30 after being ordered. We then had to wait another hour to receive our main course. The main courses arrived 2h30 after ordering. We were a table of 7 and half of our orders were pastas. Not complicated meals. The waitress was apologetic and saying the kitchen was backed up. After speaking to the manager, we were told that he didn t know what was happening . The restaurant was NOT full. Yes it was Italian Festival but we had a reservation at 7pm and received our food by 9h30! The manager offered desserts as a way to apologize. I m giving 1 star because the food was tasty but by far, this is the worse service experience we ever experienced. It took 2h30 hours to get served and we had to solicit the help of the manager otherwise no one would have come to us and offer an acknowledgment of our wait. We had to ask to get bread again, we were starving. They had warned us that it was Festival weekend and that the menu was going to be reduced to accommodate higher traffic. We thought they would be prepared. They were not. We are disappointed. We used to love this place but we won t go back.

The pasta dishes are delicious. The lasagna was especially delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great, and I love the red and white check tablecloths.

Good food and very good service. The wait staff were very attentive and understanding . One of our party is almost deaf and they happily turned down the music so his transcribing app could have a fighting chance. Will definitely visit again next time were in Ottawa. Dietary restrictions: Separate gluten free menu which made searching for options so much easier. And a good range of GF too!

We came to celebrate our anniversary. The food! The last time I had Pasta Carbonara this good, I was in Rome! We didnt stay long as we had a show. But next time, and there will definitely be a next time, well have the full experience including dessert! Our server was excellent, very attentive. Worst experience ever! Pizza was burned and saulty, calamari tasteless, two beers were forgotten, then after reminder one was a completely different from what ordered. When our waitress came to confirm which pizza we ordered after 30 min waiting time, I was speechless. My question was if it has been cooked at all - the answer: yes, it is in the owen. How could it be there if the lady was confirming what was the pizza that we ordered?! Not to mention the waiting time of around an hour and quite pricey service. This was my present for hubbys birthday. Totally ruined!

Food tastes great. Casper salad good price, tomato sauce veal pasta and mushroom tortellini are pricy, does not look like a lot of food, but fills you up with the complimentary soft bread. Make reservations before going.

Not leaving ourselves enough time before a show at Gladstone Theatre, we popped in here to beg a quick meal and wished we d been smarter in our timing as the food was exceptional, the service friendly and accommodating. In fact, after the concert we returned to finish with dessert (tiramisu - made on site daily - and frangelico chocolate cheesecake FABulous) and coffees. Thank you, Alessandro and team! We ll definitely be back!

The chicken penne arrabiata was excellent (listed as rigatoni but chgd pasta to penne), and our server Siam was excellent. Tried a special old fashioned drink made w patron tequila & bourbon $$$. Oh boy was it good... & worth it. This restaurant is steeped in Italian family tradition, just a great place to be.

Back to this restaurant after a 15+ year gap (while we were living elsewhere) and everything is still great. Table wait staff were very well trained and the maitre ds were attentive, personable and were easy to converse with. Both dishes that we chose and the appetizer were large, generous portions that we took home. They have a whole page in the menu dedicated to gluten free options (not just footnotes).

Very disappointing experience at this restaurant. Met a friend for dinner, but we were both unhappy with the food. We started with a minestrone soup, which had way too much pepper. All I really tasted was pepper when having it. For the mains; we decided to share one pizza and pasta each. We got the Norcini pizza and a Rigatoni Giuliana pasta. The pizza base tasted quite bad, and had a rubbery sort of texture. The pasta was better, but nothing great. For dessert we ordered one tiramisu and one fudge cheesecake. The tiramisu was so dry that I ended up returning it after two bites. In those two bites, I didn t taste much coffee either. The cheesecake on the other hand was quite nice and I asked for my tiramisu to be replaced with another slice of the cheesecake instead. Overall, wouldn t recommend going here. I m sure there are other better Italian places. Vegetarian options: We got vegetarian minestrone soup.

Wow! It was my first time there! The homemade pasta is to die for! I also liked the ambiance of the restaurant. The one thing I didnt prefer was that the table seated next to us (10min after) was brought waters and drink menus before us.

The parking lots staff is so weird, aggressive and make us uncomfortable. He will check everyone who parked there, is the restaurant customer or not. and while asking he touched my car (which made me very uncomfortable). I don t know why he asked, because I must be the customer if I walking in the building. Never face that situation before

Italian food, good service, recommended to get reservations

Four of us went here for dinner recently. Two of us arrived early (we had reservations) and we got seated beside a table that was already occupied (which was odd) since many other tables were empty. The two ladies beside us were quite loud so within minutes we requested a different table. Our friends arrived shortly after and we ordered Caesar salads and calamari as our appetizers which were both delicious. The calamari was nice and crispy and not oily. The salad was plentiful and very tasty. For our meals, our friends ordered the two dishes and they really enjoyed them (spaghetti with meatballs and a chicken dish - cant recall which one), my husband received chicken parmesan instead of veal parmesan which our server addressed promptly and he enjoyed his dish also. I ordered the linguini with seafood in oil and garlic and it was terrible. It was dry, the mussels tasted fishy, the scallops were barely visible and I couldnt see any crab. I did eat the shrimps it came with, they were good. They offered me either a dessert, a coffee or 1/2 price off; I took the discount since I barely touched my plate. I so wanted this to be a great experience since I find good italian restaurants in Ottawa are hard to come by (they usually excel in one area but lack in another). A big shout out to our server Kelly whose service was attentive and very friendly.

Came in for our anniversary. Kelly was amazing! So attentive and answered all our questions. The appetizers were awesome (escargot was to die for) I had the pescatore and was not disappointed, hubby had the carbonara and said it was incredible I cannot wait to come back!!!

It breaks my heart to write this review. Today I had the worst service that I have experienced in the past three years of going to this restaurant. My date and I arrived at around 8:40 PM. Granted, they were fairly busy when we walked in. I ordered tea for me and my date after the waitress came to our table. She took our order and after about 15-20 of waiting we asked her about the ETA of the tea. It came after an additional 5 minutes of wait. That s ok, sometimes we don t start on the right foot. After that the antipasti, and the first dishes arrived. They were delightful. Once we were done with the first dishes, my date and I were deep in conversation. So much so that by the time that we started to wrap up our conversation, we realized that most of the restaurant was empty and it was 10:00PM. Our main dishes were no where in sight. I had to wave down the waitress and even raise my voice when she kept walking away and ignoring us (hopefully unintentionally). When asked about the ETA of our food, she said that the order has been placed a while ago and she will check with the chefs. Not two minutes later she s coming back with our food. The lasagna was good as per usual, the margarita pizza did not taste good at all. The sauce was very sweet and the dough tasted like cardboard. Both dishes were lukewarm and weren t hot as if they just came out of the kitchen. When mentioned to the waitress she said that maybe the pizza is just not for us . Pizza was returned to the kitchen after one bite and was not comped. Overall, The service felt very neglected and leaving a lot to be desired.

Very nice atmosphere and the food was fantastic. Very Italian decor. Many waiting staff to take care of you. The accordion player added a nice touch last night. We had bruschetta, chicken, pizza, spaghetti, all were great. Meals were hot, very tasty and enough to fill you up. Desserts of crème brûlée and tartufo were also great. Parking: Need to take a ticket from the attendant to the host. Not sure how that works, but dont care, its free parking.

Traditional Italian restaurant with a very extensive wine list. Pleasant service. Tasty cuisine. Price accordingly.

Served cold veal Marsala. Brought back to kitchen and was likely warmed in microwave which dried it out. Pasta veal parmigiana was entry level. Chef boyardi would have been tastier. Waitress was cold and unfriendly. Brought and opened the wrong wine we asked for which ended up more expensive. Never asked how our food was any time. Over rated over priced ! So disappointed. Won t be back.

I gotta say, Sophia and McKenzie at our table made my night. Caeser salad that every bite was perfect accompanied the famous lasagna. Wonderful old world food with excellent flavors. Not displayed in any fancy waste of time, great food on the plate and wonderful service with a sweet smile.

Walking around Little Italy we found this place and decided to have dinner on a whim. No regrets, the place is beautiful, with so much history and connections to Italy and the family. The food was amazing, really tasty, simple and generous. We left feeling so full and with leftovers for tomorrow! The staff was friendly and kind and to top it off, there was a man playing accordion! Will definitely be returning some other time.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was very authentic to Italy. The staff were very kind. I had the Fettuccine Al Salmone and it was very tasty. The only complaint Id say I had was the bread was stale. Food

Overpriced mediocre food! Vibe is nice in the restaurant. Waitress was nice but waiting staff was way too quick at removing your plates before you were done. Not worth it! Find somewhere else if you can your wallet will also thank you.

Worst service ever. The server was very rude. Everyone in our group of 10 was upset from her attitude. Calamari was very bad, didn t taste like calamari. Chicken & salmon tasted very plain with no spices. Jumbo shrimp pasta tasted amazing as well as the Salmon Fettuccine. On the bill, it shows Maggie as the server s name, not if it the same person that took care of our table, if it is then management should considering giving her training on how to deal with customers.

I am a Uber driver and just picked up an order from this store. I have successfully picked up and delivered more than 20,000 orders and have to use washrooms from restaurants every day where I pick up orders. Where else can I find a washroom on the way? Not many options. This restaurant is THE ONLY ONE that would not let delivery people use their washrooms. The answer is Our washrooms are for customers only . After one front desk lady said so the other gentleman strengthened what she said. In the first place, I am also serving your restaurant by picking up your order; secondly, I am picking up an order on behalf of your customer so in a sense I am also your customer. How could you trust the service of this restaurant that does not respect delivery people? What is your logic there for not allowing delivery people to use your washrooms? I could only think of DISCRIMINATION as the answer. But definitely you wouldn t admit it. I heard there s even law being deliberated and to be published to make it legal for restaurants to allow us to use their washrooms in Ontario.

Food is delicious, they have some on site parking, and they are attentive.

Food and service was topnotch. We went early because we were going to see a show at the Gladstone Theatre. We had pasta and the red house wine. The meal was hot and very good . I am glade we went early because the restaurant filled up fast by the time we left We used the pay parking across the street because we were going to the theater afterward.

The staff were extremely nice. The food was good but none of the four if us felt we got the quality we paid for.

This place has been one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the city for years. I love the Gamberetti Cognac and save some bread for the leftover sauce from it. Their wine list is quite extensive as well.

Horrible experience Called ahead to reserve a table for two, one of whom uses a wheelchair, AND EXPRESSLY STATED THAT WE NEEDED TO SIT SIDE BY SIDE IN ORDER FOR ME TO BE FED. The person taking the reservation assured us we would be accommodated but when we arrived at 7:30 pm as reserved we were informed no such arrangement was made. A weak attempt to seat us had me in between the kitchen and bathroom sticking out like a sore thumb. The person I spoke with claimed to be the manager made no effort to adjust his listening skills to accommodate my speech impediment. We left immediately and I felt disgusted. Clearly this restaurant has no intension of accommodating persons with disabilities. I shall be sharing my experience through out my disability network.

horrible management and uncomfortable atmosphere

The smelts are a must. They will also customize your order to your liking. Dont forget to finish with some Grappa.

I don t usually leave google reviews, but this time I felt like I had to. We went with a party of 3, and given the reviews here, I had high hopes from the restaurant. But I was fairly disappointed. Starting with the service, it took us close to an hour to get our food served after placing the order. The quality of the food itself wasn t that great either. The linguine pescatore was supposed to have crab meat in it; we didn t see any. The mussels they used felt frozen, and devoid of any taste. Considering that each plate was over $30, I expected better. All three of us had diarrhea and/or stomach issues that night. The ambience inside was nice, however. Didn t make up for the food quality. Probably won t go back.

Went with my family to enjoy a nice lunch to celebrate our birthdays. 1st time for me. I really enjoyed the atmosphere nice Italian feel, including the music,.which was nice but just a tad too loud. Lunch was nice. Bread is delicious. I had tortellini funghi it was ok. Cappuccino to end the meal was excellent. I would love to go again and try their veal.

Cute but large trattoria in the familiar style (red and white tablecloths), but I wish I had enjoyed the experience more. As with the previous poster, waited for about an hour for a simple soup and a piece of chicken with some few things on the side. That soup - about 300ml of veal (?) broth with egg drop was lacking Parmigiano-Reggiano that would have made it actually stracciatella: $10. Grilled chicken, dry, with 2 slivers of potato, carrots, broccoli, turnip (all steamed): $39. Outrageous. If you have a long long lunch break and want to drink a bottle of red, as many were on this dreary Thursday lunchtime, lucky you. But it wasnt much of an experience for me and my 90 year old mother... Especially as they sat us right by the door (we didnt have a reservation) despite about a dozen empty tables throughout the place. Head scratcher. Extremely disappointing.

I had the veal in a white wine sauce. Tasted incredible. I recommend getting a appetizer and dessert, as the mains arent huge. Trattoria isnt cheap, but you absolutely get what you pay for.

The experience at Trattoria was disappointing. The service was slow, and the food lacked the authentic Italian flavors I was expecting. The ambiance was also lacking, contributing to an overall underwhelming dining experience.

This is my favourite place to get my favourite italian food, vitello parmigiana :). Always consistent, never had a bad experience in probably 20 or 30 times ordering it. They always accommodate my request to package my pasta and veal separately, which keeps the veal fresh on the 35 minute drive home (or even longer if ordering on UberEats and not picking it up myself) Im now, unfortunately, living even farther away, well outside of Ottawa and outside of UberEats delivery area but will still arrange to have some veal picked up when I can justify it, like today, which is my birthday. One of the only things I miss about living in Ottawa is getting this veal delivered to my house :).

A lovely and cozy place with outstanding food and an impressive wine collection. Saturday night was especially remarkable with the live accordion music.

Went here for dinner and it was amazing! The Caesar salad had lots of garlic flavour, calamari portion was huge and the cognac shrimp so tasty. All of our main dishes were pastas and everyone really enjoyed them.

We had a Carbonara and a pizza. The service was outstanding, great staff, but as we know it is not all about the service. My partner had a pizza and for him it was really good. I ordered the spaghetti Carbonara. The pasta was extremely salty when it already comes with bacon and parmesan cheese. It didnt have the egg yolk which is not a deal breaker BUT it had pieces of onions. When you go to Little Italy you shouldnt expect modern, fusion meals but you do demand good and TRADITIONAL Italian food. A Carbonara must never have onions.... nor should a bruschetta.

An exceptional evening to dine on the rooftop patio tonight! Great food, friendly professional service, and a fine wine list! Dietary restrictions: The menu highlights many gluten-free options. This time, we celebrated an anniversary indoors. The restaurant was busy with groups of different sizes, some of which were multigenerational. It was obvious that families with kids are also always welcome.

The service was excellent and the waiters were very friendly. However, the food was rather bland and there was essentially no flavor in any of the dishes. They were well prepared but nowhere near the quality you d expect for such prices. Would probably not go again.

*Giuliana pasta was so good . *The chef salad was disappointing though. The quantity wasnt enough. There was only 3 pices of tomato , 2 pices of cucumber and 2 olives in it. The sause wasnt tasty . It tasted more like olive oil than a house made dressing. *The mid-age lady who served us was so kind and charming. I loved her.

We recently went to this restaurant for my Moms 70th birthday. We were a party of 16. The staff were exceedingly kind and attentive. The atmosphere was lovely. The food was delicious. I definitely recommend! Thank you to the staff for making my Mothers big day that much more special.

I was recently back in Ottawa for an office reunion. A bunch of us went here for dinner. We used to frequent this fantastic restaurant when we all worked nearby years ago The restaurant has expanded since we had all been. Its even nicer that it used to be. The charm is still there and the great staff. The food is amazing. The Veal Marsala it is to dis for. I highly recommend for your next night out. Enjoy!!

This restuarant seems to have been there forever. Food was good and the service was excellent. One perk is the free parking behind the restuarant.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed lunch yesterday at Trattoria Caffe Italia. Everything was wonderful: ambiance, food and service. We were pleased to see a number of gluten-free options. It s the second time I have been to this charming restaurant since returning to Ottawa three years ago and Trattoria Caffe Italia is definitely a favourite!

Had a late afternoon lunch with my daughter, first time visit for both of us. All of the staff were delightful, the cocktails were delicious and the food exceptional. We both plan to come again.

The moment we entered this restaurant and we know this is going to have proper authentic Italian food and service. We were here last night to have a few drinks. Ended up ordering a few things and they were so so amazing! Its what proper authentic Italian food is. Everything is homemade. The service was really good and you can tell that everyone who works there takes their job seriously and yet its friendly homely restaurant. We could have sat there for a really long time. It just felt like home. We are glad to have found this restaurant and will definitely come back!

This place is not what it use to be . Our waitress was Maggie, it took her 15 mins to come see us when we first got to the table. No smile, no apology and very cold. We use to love this place but now the food is not the same anymore and Maggie gave us the worst service you can imagine. She never came to see us unless we waved at her. Never going back there again and it s specially because of Maggie !

We had dinner there yesterday eve, hospitable hosts, delicious truly Italian dishes and I must mention: generous portions. Wide wine list with impressive private import selection. Wines are out of this world. Menu is extensive. The food is absolutely amazing everything we tasted melted in our mouths. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Mostly Italian classics, and for their prices it s 100% worth it. We ended our evening with a wonderful home made, not too sweet,tiramisu. (!!!) Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. The owner truly cares about your experience. Absolutely the best meal we had in a long time. Highly recommend it. Finally, the ambiance is very welcoming, cozy and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. One of Ottawas best down home Italian restaurants. We had a group of 10 people that they accommodated easily and provided fantastic service for the entire table. We had antipasto platters to start and then I had the veal parmesan- fabulous and large portion. The owners were awesome and sent us all a lemoncello with our desert & coffees. Yummm

Have been here on three different occasions. Love the ambiance, staff is absolutely amazing and the food if you are looking for some great Italian authentic dishes try it here!
