175 Lisgar St, Ottawa, ON K2P 0C3, Canada
Wine, sake & a wide selection of sushi & Japanese dishes in serene, traditional surroundings.
Absolutely wonderful. The food is amazing. I'm a big sashimi fan and they've made some of the best I've ever had. Great staff. I make a point of stopping here at least once every time I'm in Ottawa. The place isn't heavily decorated, so if you consider atmosphere important, then this may not be your place. I personally like it, as it feels very open and bright. The prices are on the higher end of reasonable, but I'm happy to pay for quality.
Ordered via Uber eats. I ordered the Umi sashimi Moriawase, age-dashi tofu and butterfish Nigiri. Portions were good. Sashimi tasted very fresh. Because of delivery, I would recommend you reheat the age-dashi tofu a bit before consuming. Overall a very satisfying meal and will consider ordering again from Uber eats
The food was okay, bland in my opinion. What interested me was the soba an option for the noodle
Terrific sushi. Delicious appetizers. I have had all ranges of sushi from cheap student takeout to high end and this place is really great. Quick, traditional style service, they have their own culinary style but quality or atmosphere is not compromised. My husband says it is the best sushi he’s ever had. Support this lovely family restaurant.
I have been wanting to go to this restaurant for a while but it turned out to be the worst Sushi I had ever. Service was so bad. we were dining there for around 1:30 hours and the restaurant was not busy. we were surrounded by dirty tables the whole time. We ordered the maki combo and seafood udon. As you see in the picture udon only came with 2 pieces of clam and tiny shrimp. Salmon felt mushy and really uncomfortable in my mouth. Tuna was obviously not fresh and the noodles were overcooked . Way too overpriced for the quality and quantity. Not once did the server come re fill out water or even ask how we’re doing. Definitely would not go again
I was surprised at how amazing the food is here, I hadn't heard of it before. This restaurant certainly deserves top marks. I'm a big fan of Sashimi, and the Sashimi I ordered at Genji is definitely the best I have had in Ottawa. I ordered the 16 piece Sashimi platter. It looked small in the picture, but the pieces were large and generously cut when my order arrived. The meat was fresh, very soft and full of flavor. This Sashimi is worlds different from what you get at a grocery store or a mall sushi place, this is what Sashimi should be like. Likewise, my wife also really enjoyed her order. She got the Rainbow Sushi plate (M8) and was also impressed by the quality and taste. There is so much variety on the menu that it is hard to choose what might be best for lunch, but that makes it fun to visit because of the number of options. One thing to note is that it can be quite busy around lunch time. You can expect to wait 30+ minutes to get your food. The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere that I enjoyed. I Also liked the collection of plants at the front window. Overall a fun experience with surprisingly good food. I will definitely be returning to Genji restaurant soon.
Best sushi in ottawa! I have been here for so many times. No matter dinner or take out, always keep high quality sushi and the service is excellent. Highly recommend.
Very, very good sushi. Perfectly seasoned and well paired with the salad and miso soup. The only thing was that they unintentionally hid the salad sauce inside the salad container which I later found out after having few bites of plain veggies 😂 Before, I had assumed they forgot to sauce the salad or just serve it like that. The sauced salad is really good as well, honestly could’ve enjoyed it as an appetizer dish alone + Marinated Baby Octopus was decent, but not amazingly good Rainbow Roll and Moriwase was delicious and I enjoyed my meal ☺️
Excellent quality sushi and more.
Slow service, two people doing the job of 5.
Peopel are so rude in her
Best Sushi downtown.
Ordered for delivery on Ubereats and was very disappointed in the quality. The maki had the most terrible cuts of salmon. The very end of the tails were just rolled up. I have had better sushi from grocery stores. If you are looking for better sushi in centretown, save your time and money and go to j:unique or sushi88.
Amazing food.
Friendly staff, nice sushi and a calm atmosphere. I enjoy going to this place both for lunch and dinner.
The service was very, very bad , we will not come back. It was a waste of time and money. The food was regular it was empty and still took a long time to make, and 1 person was making the food
The service was HORRIBLE it took them more than 30 mins to make the food and the thing is the restaurant was empty it we were 2 people and took them that long the food felt normal not anything
Best Sushi in Ottawa, friendly service and reasonable price.
The sushi was warmer than I am comfortable with. The server was very friendly. I probably won t return.
The sushis are really good but the rest is below average although the portions are good for the price. The ladys bathroom door could not close and the seats were dirty.
I am giving 5 stars even though my beef teriyaki was under cooked. I am sure they would have cooked it more if asked but I didnt want to be a burden. The suishi was delicious with asparagus and lobster.
The food is amazing and the service too
Service was slow even though there were only few customers in the restaurant but I could tell the server was doing her best. Later on I figured out that they had many pick-up orders. There were only one server so it seemed like the server was in and out all the time. Also, the food was worth to wait. It was delicious and fresh. This visit won t be my last.
Nice sushi place in Ottawa ! Would definitely recommend!
The food was delicious and service was quick, though the waitress brought the wrong dish for one of the four orders, and forgot to bring one of the sets of rolls. There was no music on and the restaurant was largely empty so we felt a bit awkward speaking as our voices really carried. My main complaint was that the mens washroom was gross. The toilet tank had a large crack, the toilet seat was covered in dry smeared bodily fluids, and the counter, mirror and light switch looked like they hadnt been cleaned in a very long time. My spouse noted that the womens washroom was fine. If they put some music on and cleaned the mens washroom, I would have given it 5 stars. Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options in appetizer and Maki roll sections.. no vegetarian soba or udon options. Their miso soup is not vegetarian. Parking: Paid 2 hour street parking directly in front of the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: Two plastic highchairs are available. Wheelchair accessibility: Does not appear to be accessible. Stairs up to the door, no automatic doors, set of doors with a sharp 90° turn, washrooms are down 2 flights of stairs and are not designed for accessibility.
Great
We ve been here a few times and have never been disappointed. Very delicious rolls, and the chicken karaage is the best karaage we ve had in the city.
Unbelievably bad. If it were possible to score lower than 1 star, I would. Hideously overpriced, miserly small portions and bland, bland, bland. The fish used in the meal was possibly the worst I have ever tasted: no difference between any of the varieties and the thinnest slices imaginable. How this establishment got a 4.3/5 rating is beyond me. Maybe my expectations are higher than the rest of the population of Ottawa but I would not recommend this place to anyone. Ever.
Our favorite and best sushi restaurant in Ottawa . The food is always fresh, great value for money and the wait staff are super friendly and nice, Food
we ordered 3 different sushi and edamame. the food was really good, and even the designed the dish which felt really good. salmon was fresh and we loved it. atmosphere was great. music was light and felt nice. The server was the best. She treated us like we were home. She filled our glasses several times during our time there. She really really was the best. we are definitely going there again.
If you want to visit The Genji Japanese Restaurant, then think twice or go to another restaurant. Today for my birthday we were served stale tuna rolls with flavor. Not only is it dangerous to health, but it also ruins the holiday and mood. The specialist admitted his mistake, so be careful when choosing restaurants and the rating does not always correspond to the quality of the product.
Fine dining prices for mid level sushi. Service is good but 30+ min wait for food is off putting.
Sushi is not of great quality and very stingy with the crab. Also, the chicken dishes I ordered were overcooked and the mayo sauce used is not very good imo. The table also smelled bad. Not to mention the price, this place has no business charging that much for this level of quality
I would give 0 stars if I could. Everything is brutally bad. Worst sushi I have ever had.
Spent just over an hour there, food was quick to start. Everything was insanely delicious. Gyoza, tempura veggie, and I had the steak stampede rolls. Green tea creme brule for dessert! Just under 80 for 2 people, but we were both stuffed! Parking: Hard to find a spot, signs were inconclusive about weekend parking.
First restaurant I went to in Ottawa when I moved 10 years ago. Went back recently and it was still the same, very good. Great option for lunch around Elgin.
Allergy friendly! Good quality of sushi and not expensive for downtown. Great value! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian maki Kid-friendliness: Food Allergy friendly
Very good sushi and the service is excellent.
Lovely staff and one of the best sushi spots!
As mentioned in another review, the sashimi is truly top notch. It s not cheap but it s certainly worth it! Truly an experience enjoying the sashimi here. The bento was ok, would definitely recommend you get the sashimi and maki rolls though!
Very nice theme and wonderful service
Miso soup, edamame and tuna and salmon sashimi. The service was great. The food was great. I would definitely go back. Low table seating options. Great for groups of all sizes.
The service is too slow. It took for ever to get the food and the appetizer came when we were getting ready to leave
Finally tried this place after walking by it so many times over the years. Had the hotate yaki to start which was delicious - that sauce is so tasty! Tried a piece of my friend s Gyoza and it was great. Went with the beef teriyaki as my main and enjoyed it. I really liked the seasonal veggies that were served with it. Had to try the tempura banana for dessert and it did not disappoint! I think a 4.5 would have been more representative of my experience as the service was a tad slow (but the server was nice, just working solo). Definitely want to try the sushi as other reviews speak highly of it. Will go back!
so good
Great experience. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The sushi was great. Supper oishi. Recommended dishes
Their food is so good! Highly recommended.
This is our favourite sushi place in all of Ottawa. We even have staff meetings here, and its always great.
Quaint little spot! Fantastic food and attentive service. Decor is a little dated and could be tidied up a bit.
Has a very nostalgic, home-cooked kind of atmosphere, not fancy but familiar. I ordered the bento dinner and was happy with it, you get a sizeable amount of classic Japanese comfort food (sushi, white rice, tempura, spring rolls, teriyaki chicken/beef) for a decent price. (With tip and drinks it was a little over $40 each.) The food was not amazing but it was very comforting. Thats how I would describe the whole experience. Our server was excellent, we liked her very much. We would come back again.
Really slow service i have been waiting for 20 minutes and no one cares
The food was delicious and service outstanding. Loved every bite. It was my first time there but I would definitely like to go again. I had the Salmon teriyaki Bento Box as my entire and I think that would have been enough for me but we had to try other things like the Beef Maki(yum) and shrimp teriyaki(yum yum) lets just say I ate too much and enjoyed every bite.
Delicious, fresh and prepared with care. Great service too (very friendly, respectful and attentive). Second experience there, cannot go anywhere else in Ottawa for sushi now. Genji management and staff - Good job, please keep it up!
Super nice atmosphere! Really quiet. The sushi was simply delicious. The food was well balanced. I highly recommend this restaurant. In addition, the service was very professional and welcoming. We ate like kings. Thank you so much !!
Due to Kitchen renovation. Genji will be closed between April 18 to May 8.
Prob the worst takeout Ive had in Ottawa. The chicken breast was awful and very dry. Not worth $25 dollars. All the vegetables underneath were frozen. The only edible thing to eat was the plain white rice. Never ordering again.
Extremely slow service, we had to wait for 2h 15 min for the food to be served.
Good value for prices in terms of sushi. Nothing spectacular necessarily, but also does all the basics well. Services is good and attentive. You can deathly find better places to eat sushi but you re also pay much more.
Absolutely fantastic! Great service and atmosphere! Went back and the food was as amazing as the first time. Glad I went back. Fresh, tasty and the presentation was on point. Service was absolutely fantastic. Will visit again.
Update: not sure what happened but since the pandemic the food here has been awful. Last time I ordered on my birthday - the maki that contained avocado was rotten and black to the core. Tried to contact the restaurant but no one answered the phone. Genji has the best Japanese food in Ottawa by far! Love the understated decor and friendly servers. Food is delicious and well-presented.
10/10 would recommend! Some of the best sushi we have ever had!
Overall a great experience. A little on the expansive side.
In 2018 my wife and I got engaged and we went to Genji for our celebration dinner. It was a fabulous meal and a wonderful dining experience. Recently in 2023 we made the trek to Ottawa from Montreal to go back, since we had such fond memories, and I am delighted to say that the quality of the food, service, and overall experience was just as lovely. Highly recommend.
It gives the feel of small Japanese restaurant you would come across in the rural part of Japan. The food is delicious and the service was also awesome. I recommend. Parking: Depending on the day and time, the street parking is either free or you need to pay for it! Additionally, it is pretty hard to find parking right next to the restaurants. If you are unlucky, you might want to consider a 5-8min walk from the restaurant to find appropriate parking. Kid-friendliness: Note that they do not have a changing table for babies in any of their toilets. There is also no option for babe food, so plan ahead.
An absolutely delicious meal. Everything was so fresh and the presentation was beautiful.
Favourite sushi in Ottawa!
Good sushi, and good service! Salmon was fresh. Would recommend.
Fresh and good products. The staff is very helpful and friendly
Very good food, worth the trip. Generous portions of fish in the sushi and the beef appetizer is excellent. Made for a fantastic date night.
The sushi was amazing! Easy to order pickup! My only complaint is the salad, the picture I saw online showed a full salad but when we got it, it was just iceberg lettuce and salad dressing, no toppings.
A good option for Japanese food in Ottawa, not my favourite but definitely a solid choice
Not bad. Salmon was mushy which was unfortunate. Didn t finish my rolls because of it. Bento box was good though
Super service and food. Weve been ordering UberEats for a while and decided to eat there for the first time in ages. Service totally made it worth it.
I ordered sushi delivery. Maki and spicy salmon. In fact, there was nothing spicy in spicy salmon except the name, I also really dont like the fact that it crunches, if it wasnt for that, it would be very tasty. I would like to add classic Philadelphia to the menu (salmon, cream cheese and cucumber). In general, not bad.
Delicious sushi, best Ive had in a long while. Service was amazing, friendly staff. Will definitely go back!
Great sushi! Great prices! Always fresh!!
Favorite sushi
Great selections, vegan options, and very friendly staff!
Well, a little expensive and minimalist decor.
All my orders were tepid and so soggy. Sushi was warm and tempura was not crispy. just like microwaved frozen food. spoiled family weekend dinner and never coming again.
A variety of well priced dishes on the lunch menu, including a build your own bento box.
Best sushi in Ottawa!
We randomly decided to try Genji today and it did not disappoint. We had a variety of maki rolls and ordered two goyoza appetizers because they were that good. The sushi was fresh and was so good. It is a bit pricey but honestly worth it.
World class sushi
Food was good. One main dish was very slow arriving with no apology.
Pricey. And portions of sushi are small. Udon is not tasty. Not clean. Waitress is a nice lady. But not going back there. Its not worth it.
Friendly and kind staff, accommodating even during busy hours. Food is always fresh and prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!
Excellent service and even better food. The sushi was very fresh and the portions perfect. The green tea creme brulee was a perfect mix of sweet and savoury.
My boyfriend and I visited here from Toronto about a week ago. Serena was our server. The customer service was fantastic. She left such a good impression on us and really made our trip. She was incredibly gracious and so accommodating. We will return to this location just to visit her. The sushi was great, quality of the fish was fresh and the pieces were huge. They have tons of sushi options. Highly recommend this sushi spot.
Very pleasant little restaurant, friendly and kind staff. For an American sushi restaurant, the dishes are decent and unpretentious as you cant compare it to restaurants in Japan. Between friends or as a couple, we are always well received. However, the quantities are starving. In this type of restaurant you have to eat before otherwise you will ruin yourself.
A fine establishment with wonderful service. Although they have take out we opted for a sit down table. A wide selection of dishes but its worthwhile to ask the chef what is fresh for the fish options.
Always delicious and staff are very kind.
Full of charm, this place was a great find for my wife and me who arent native to the area. Very nice staff and great food.
Friendly staff and a charming atmosphere. Food was good and reasonably priced for what it was. Definitely recommend. We chose to eat in the restaurant and there was some obvious wear and tear on the floors that caught my chair and almost made me fall, but that was the only (minor) issue I had.
Consistently great food and wonderful service.
good food. I half-expected the waiter to be a Japanese cyborg ninja armed with a katana and a wakizashi...
Great sushi and very attentive service! Very good!
Reasonable prices, good sushi, and very good customer service. We came at a quiet time so the lady serving us was very attentive (without interrupting).
Very good sushi - not too much rice (and not too packed). Very clean and nice ambience for dine-in.
Bit pricier than most sushi restos. But decent food and service.
great sushi
Excellent customer service.
Great service and great food
Absolutely loved it, the ambience, the service, the food, the authenticity, everything was perfect.
This restaurant experience was not ideal. We went on a holiday Monday and there was only one server working. She was very friendly and helpful, but was literally running to fill both table and takeout orders (there was a constant line up of uber eats drivers). The food was excellent, only the sushi for half our table came out 45 minutes before the two teriyaki orders for the other half. It took over 90 minutes to receive all our food. They definitely needed more staff. Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options. Kid-friendliness: Everyone loves teriyaki chicken and rice.
Very good Japanese, many original specialties. Fast and pleasant service.
Both food and service were just ok. The sushi rolls were cut way too thick and they lacked flavour.
Best sushis in town!
Very good quality of Sushi and service. Best in downtown Ottawa. Will return when visiting Ottawa!
Zero arrogant customer service
great
Good but not great.
Excellent food and service!
A little pricey but overall a good sushi spot. Quick service and the waitress was very friendly.
Been many times but finding lately the place is not as good as it was. All of us got main courses that were barely lukewarm. Steak was almost cold. Perhaps service was too busy fawning over Trudeau and his family that were also dining there at the same time. I know, nearly lost my appetite when I saw him there . The other negative is the upholstery in the restaurant is in dire need of replacement or at the very least a good steam clean. The off-white benches are filthy. The floors also need repairing as the are peeking badly. Having said all this, the service is usually very good. And food was always good the other times I had been.
Its too bad This place used to be top notch. I was completely underwhelmed. Let you say its not what it used to be. Food
Came in at Dinner time. Initial experience was good, but was slightly disappointed at prices, especially just for tea (4$). Food was alright but nothing special, pretty average. Service was just okay. At the end I asked to make the tip 15% but server gave a non response answer when I requested to make a change from the default 18%. Anyways, was overall disappointing and wouldn t choose to return.
We had dumplings, tuna and spicy salmon maki rolls for take out. The food was excellent. Very good value.
Ordered on Uber eats, more expensive than other places but the quality is very good. Would order from here again.
The price is expensive, the quantity is small, and the taste is not good. The price you order here is enough to feed two adult men plus 20 yuan, which is enough for a Michelin-starred meal. When I first chose to eat here, I can only say that I was a fool.
Best sushi!!!! Really well made high quality!! thanks Genji <3
good service and great food
Would not recommend takeout. Maybe their sushi or dine-in is better. $15 for mediocre udon in soup. $25 for a small rice, small miso soup, 8 mediocre shrimp, a chunk of iceberg lettuce, and one soggy tempura battered something. Didnt eat the chunk of iceberg lettuce or tempura thing.
The sushi was nice, fresh, and delicious!
Ate here March 1st 2021 (Monday). Not busy, service was nice. We ordered something and asked for change, they honored our request which is super nice. Service 5 star. Price/Value: 2 Star. Over priced. Understanding that it is covid, but so is everyones income. I love good sushi and ate all around town. But the sushi made here is lacking some skill, understanding to save cost during COVID, the fish is cold because it cannot be stored under room temperature or it will go bad, but the rice is very cold as well, and also not very flavorful. Our bill comes to ~$77 after tips and taxes (2 persons). I can get better sushi at other places with more items and better quality (example Tomo, Merivale Seafood Grill, or J:Unique 3 on top of my head right now). This is not a complaint, just a comment for the store and for others who wants to go here.
Best in town!
Great food. We could dine in here and at the time every other sushi shop was only doing takeout only even though the Covid restrictions in Ottawa allowed dine in. I phoned 8 shops and all were take out only. All that to say very friendly and great food.
Very fresh and tasty! Would definitely visit in person once ON open dine-in
Everything was AMAZING. You know a place is great when even the vegetables are one of the best things youve ever eaten. We got the beef and eel teriyaki meals with the sweet pink shrimp. Every aspect of the meal was fantastic.
good! The chef needs to improve the next days meal
Excellent service. Beautiful presentation. Lots of special Maki choices
One of the best Sushi places in Ottawa
Amazing! The service was great, the food was better and I left happy as can be The eggplant was to die for!
Great food and a pleasant atmosphere. This was my first time but not my last. The Beef Teriyaki was amazing, so good.
this is the worst sushi restaurant i have ever eaten. the food was not fresh and I had to wait more than 40p to have a dish. i will never go back
Delicious Dish,Excellent Service
Ordered here many times. Today I ordered and asked if they could include gluten free soya sauce as Im trying a new diet. Not only they did that but labeled everything too! So sweet, sushi was fresh as usual. Lots of good options for vegans. Spring rolls were tasty.
Alright sushi, touch expensive, great wait staff. The sushi was kind of warm which was a little concerning as the rolls had a bit of a strong fish smell for sushi. A touch overpriced as I could have gone and eaten at Cest Japon for about the same amount.
Love the staff, they are amazing. The food is not that good, overpriced, and often there was a mixup on the orders- again, staff was amazing though, extremely kind and courteous.
Fresh sushi, made with good ingredients, made just right.
Got nice services and nice food. Thanks
super delicious, our server was so kind and had the coolest glasses! will be coming back
If you know anything about Japanese food, this is not the place. Chicken teriyaki was basically boiled chicken with teriyaki sauce. Yaki means grilled ! Tuna in roll tasted defrosted. Salad was iceberg lettuce with a cherry tomato on top but sauce was in a container UNDER it so you don t see it until you sadly nibble through it. Never had such bad tempura. Skip it!
Amazing
I have tried this place multiple times and it s always been great!
i like this sushi place, owner is very friendly recommended
Great service, atmosphere and, of course, food!
Great portion of sashimi, cut very thick. Beef teriyaki was well cooked to medium. Tempura needs more work. The shrimp tempura bread can be bigger, and the tempura sauce is too blend. The menu combo can be developed for more sushi + sashimi combo. The servers were attentive and nice. The place is clean.
Amazing food, great quality and authentic environment. Staff is very kind and the prices are good too. Will definitely come back.
A huge disappointment. Service was ridiculously slow; 45 to get our appetizers. The sushi is mediocre at best and its expensive. Weve been to ayce sushi restaurants with much higher quality.
Delicious, fresh sushi and amazing service!!
The fish was very good but everything else was mediocre. The service was brutal, our main courses came before the appetizers, some items never came and the waitress was pushy and didnt want to refund items which never came. Water took half an hour to be refilled, I dont see myself coming back here. Also DONT order the tempura, not good.
Delicious food.
Excellent
We enjoyed our meal and the excellent service. Thank you
Great service. Good sushi. Solid number of veggie options.
Great selection of appetizers. Great selection of sushi. Service very good. Very reasonably priced.
Had a great time and I would recommend going food was great
I spend 12 dollars for 4 small tiny shrimp sushi! The amount of food is really not worth the price!
Friendly staff and service, however, everything else in this restaurant is outdated. Food is mediocre.
Absolutely delicious! Thank you
Food was great, will definitely be back!
Rich menu and authentic atmosphere. Great location. Besides the sushi options, they have great appetizers and teriyaki. Recommended if you look for a Japanese restaurant.
It was good but recently quality of food dropped dramatically... I don t know the reason
A nice, quiet, welcoming restaurant with an authentic feel. I have been to many Japanese restaurants in Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto, and this one was understated but nicely decorated. Im on an elimination diet, so my options were limited - but I didnt expect anything more. My friends had no dietary limitations, so they had so much choice! I enjoyed the sashimi platter and it was fresh and delicious. The flesh was a soft, buttery texture, so flavourful and lovely. Thanks for the lovely dinner!
Favourite sushi in town, been going since they opened.
Yummy Saturday night snack. Veggie California roll was goooooood!
Great quality and tasting food, with excellent service.
One of, if not the best place to get sushi. Staff is so friendly. They make you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in.
First time ordering from this Japanese place, I had a hard time finding it (my fault lol) so the wonderful lady came and brought it out to me - THANK YOU!! It s delicious!!
Best sushi restaurant in Ottawa, hands down. With lots of menu options, very fresh fish, a Quiet atmosphere, great service & polite staff, we will definitely be returning.
the worst Japanese food I have ever have place not clean high price compare to the food and when we ask why the food is not good the waitresss answer is the main Chief is not here!
Best sushi and excellent service. Highly recommended.
We always try to find a Japanese restaurant worth going to during our travels. Ottawa had several options to offer and we chose Genji with its wide variety of traditional as well as unusual offerings. Being open to trying dishes that are outside of the typical roll-nigiri-sashimi playlist (Genji offers all of that too), we decided to experiment. Uni was fantastic, fresh and delicious. Tuna tartare pizza made on a thick fried rice crust/patty was unusual yet yummy. An eggplant appetizer was truly decadent. Loved the maple syrup egg sashimi. A shiitake roll was sweet and almost dessert like. Mango icecream and green tea creme brulee had extremely clean and vibrant flavors. All that magic reasonably priced and prepared and presented with love and care by a wonderful chef and staff. Highly recommend!
Amazing food and service!!! The blooming tea is delicious! I will be returning again and again.
Weve been going to Genji for many years and it has been consistently excellent. The staff is super friendly and attentive. All of the sushi rolls that weve tried there are excellent. I also love the nasu dengaku (eggplant with miso sauce), it may not sound like much but its delicious. Highly recommend this place.
