Brought my kids here to celebrate a special occasion!! We had a server her name was Zoey and she went above and beyond to make the meal fun and us full!! Zoey deserves a raise!!!!!!!we will be back

This gyubee location is hands down the best place to introduce people to gyubee. Service is quick and unlike the other location they dont miss any orders you make. We had Sherry as our server and she was amazing! Will definitely look to come back with friends again.

Nothing to say. One of the best addresses for Korean/Japanese barbecue. Food quality A1. Good service and good atmosphere. Glad to have ended up trying this restaurant, because there are often a lot of waits. On the other hand, for groups of 6 people or less, reservations are made via Yelp. We arrived and had waited a maximum of 5 minutes. One of my favorite addresses in the region. May seem expensive, but for what it is, its affordable.

First things first, youre telling me 45$ (approx.) per person for all you can eat beautifully marbled beef, squid, pork and more.... YES PLEASE! Thank you to our server Luffy for being so sweet and inviting. Definitely satisfied with my experience here, and I must say my stomach is just as happy.. hehe

Really great Japanese BBQ! A must try! The service was very quick! You have more than enough food in the 2 hours you are given to eat. The price is honestly very good for what you have. I think almost anyone will enjoy going there as there are choices for everyone!

I have been a regular at this all-you-can-eat restaurant, but my recent visit left me disappointed. After enjoying our meal, we asked for the bill. The server who brought it was different from the one who served us, and when it came time to pay, I didnt leave a tip, as I felt tips are not mandatory. The server reacted negatively, expressing frustration about the lack of a tip. My friend also left without tipping and faced the same reaction. As we left, the server made a remark about leaving tips for service and seemed to complain to her coworkers in a different language. I have never experienced this issue before, and it was surprising and uncomfortable. I hope the management can address this to ensure a more positive experience for all guests in the future.

Greeter told us 40 mins, but we got a text in 15 mins. Had walked around the area. Pretty much ran back. Then sent us to a full table. Then sat and waited for table.. finally get table and start to cook some food. Didnt find anything very tasty honestly. I think if our server could have been more helpful with suggestions or methods that might have been helpful. We would not return. For the cost, o expected more. Better seating, not horribly uncomfortable benches and folding chairs. The creme Brule is served cold and you eat it with a wooden ice cream spoon. Ya need 4 to make up a normal size dessert. Certainly not impressive. Parking: No parking.

I ve been here several times and it just never let me down. Everything here is seasoned well, but they taste totally different. Meat is fresh and good quality. Our waitress SY is very caring and patient, and Dian was also helping us a lot. Everyone here is nice, I like atmosphere here!

Found this place on Google Maps and so glad that I did. Amazing experience, our server Rong expertly guided us through our course with the most attentive service. Some of my favorites were the marinated pork belly, the salmon, and garlic shrimp. Of course the beef was excellent too! The crème brûlée provided a sweet ending to a fabulous meal. Booked a group of 8 people last minute on a Friday night with no problem. For groups larger than 6 ppl you have to call the restaurant and they are more than accommodating to make that happen. All the servers were so attentive and the food was coming in at super fast speeds. Will try out the Toronto locations next!

Was a nice experience. Lots of meat options (with all day menu) and few vegetable options. Kinda felt rushed to finish cooking and eating within the time limit, so we ended up finished well under the 1h45min time limit. Service was excellent. Server was very helpful explaining the experience and portion sizes for us first timers. Nice quaint atmosphere. The only downside was that since we wanted to try everything, when all the dishes came, we didnt really know what was what, So it was hard to know the name of the meat choices we liked in order to order seconds. Vegetarian options: Limited. Check the menu. Parking: Street parking free on Sundays.

Excellent option for lovers of the all you can eat concept. The only detail we saw was that they offered an ice cream cone on the menu but they no longer had it.

Jasmine was a star. The way she walked across the gyubee floor was so elegant like a swan. She served my food with such care, her fingers gracefully placing my food on the table. She always has a bright smile on her face that immediately lit up my day. My dog died, but I immediately forgot about him once I saw Jasmine. Amazing. 10/10. Love.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at this location. our server was not attentive. We ordered two cups of tea, but she forgot them until we reminded her an hour later. When the bill came, we were charged for 4 cups of tea. During our BBQ, the flames became too strong, and she turned off our stove twice. I assumed she was going to replace the BBQ net due to the burnt net and strong flame, but she never returned. We had to ask another server to turn the stove back on. This service was far below what I ve experienced at other Gyubee locations in Ottawa and Toronto.

Always been treated well and ate well. Food, staff, music is on point. Only thing I have to say, is bathroom could get a clean up a little more often. Food

Eating here is like heaven, the meat is so tender and juicy. Service is great, came to change our frying net every 10 minutes. If I lived closer, this would be my go-to restaurant.

Japanese food grill. Very good food, especially the prawns, salmon, mushrooms and miso soup. The waiters are very attentive so you can order more dishes quickly. I dont give it 5 stars because they dont accept foreign cards and they force you to withdraw money from an ATM they have inside the bar!!!!!

They dont accept credit cards and its not obvious on their website. Food is good but make sure youve got enough money to pay for it. Honestly a restaurant that doesnt take credit it ridiculous. I wouldnt go back until they do

The service here is some of the best any restaurant in the city, even if youre cooking your own food, the staff is very fast providing you the food, sides, or drinks right after you order with the server. To avoid any unknown wait, best bet is to join the waitlist on the Yelp app, since thats the only way to basically reserve a time, but the app will notify you when you should join the waitlist based on your guest size and the time you actually want to arrive.

Great atmosphere! It was quite cozy and intimate without being isolating. The waitstaff were exceptionally polite, friendly and helpful. Everything was super well marinated and tasty, but my brother and I especially liked the miso brisket and salmon.

Full experience was not great. The most stressful dinner ever. The servers were always in a rush to take our order (not attentive) and they were always dumping the plates on the table with no manners. The tips percentage that we were forced to pay didn t reflect the good quality service it was supposed to come with.

Gyubee has a very high rating on the Chinese Xiaohongshu. My son and I came here for the first time. The food was really good. I especially praised Sherrys thoughtfulness and considerate service. My son said he would bring his classmates back tomorrow. He was told to book seats online advance.

Very original concept, the meats and accompaniments are fresh and varied. The waiters come by regularly to see if you want to order other dishes, so no waiting between services. This allows you to taste several products. Some meats were a little fatty for my taste but other than that everything was very good.

Ive been here a couple of times before but today it was really special,the service was magnificent and everything we needed was handed to us without us even asking for it. I definitely recommend trying this place at least once but check online first for the wait(it isnt that long but in case of bad weather). Parking: You need to drive a bit around to find a parking and dont forget the park meter for tickets. Wheelchair accessibility: It is completely accessible and Ive seen many people in wheelchairs in here.

Wow, what a great experience! The service is excellent and the food is delicious! We went on a Tuesday for dinner and it was very busy. We feel like we are guests and they really take the time. Im definitely going to go back there.

I had been there before and loved their food. But yesterday was a totally different experience. We went there with our group of 5. Couple of us were wearing traditional clothes as we were attending after an event. Some of us didnt eat pork, therefore we wanted a spot with 2 grills. More than half of the tables were empty. But they didnt accommodate. They kept saying they only provide 2 grills if there are 6 people in the group. Well have to leave after 60 minutes. There were many spots available with 2 people seating option and 4 people seating option just beside us. Any of those would have been fine. We felt discriminated against either our cultural attire or our religion or skin color. In any of those cases, it was unacceptable and unprofessional. We will not repeat.
