Very polite service, good food, large servings. Nice place to sit in - the old Montanas truck is pretty funny.

The service was excellent; however, approximately six to seven tables were left untidy by patrons, with trays and leftover food remaining.

There was a rock and sand/dirt inside my potatoes (guessing they dont wash it good enough) and it almost broke my poor tooth. I lost my appetite after this

I dont know whats going on, but every time i order here, they dont want to add enough meat to the plate! The plate is more expensive and the meat is half of what they used to give. I feel like Im begging for something Im paying for. I didnt ask for more this time and Im not going back. I know you dont really care because this isnt the first time weve talked about it.

Ottawas best shawarma is shawarma palace. The orleans location has great food quality and delivers the great shawarma palace food quality. The spicy sauce is great with potatoes. The beef with tomatoes inbetween is a great choice

Shwarma and kebob / kaftka casual dining. Tasty. They have 2 types of rice and also, falafel, roasted cauliflower and eggplant grilled wraps and plates for vegetarian options. They are very generous with their portions of meat in the sandwiches and plates. Seems like a family run place. It s large, clean, and a decent price for a very filling, loaded up sandwich. Friendly staff, lots of free parking. Vegetarian options: Végétarien grilled sandwich snd platter. Falafel, salads. Parking: Lots and lots of parking. Kid-friendliness: It s a large place so I think your kids could probably run around without disturbing anyone.

Huge portions & great deals through ubereats!

Some of the chicken in my platter was pink/undercooked. Unfortunately I felt very sick after eating the food. Also asked for no garlic sauce and they still put it. Thanks Shawarma Palace.

Have been coming here since they opened and to the one on Rideau for the last 15+ years. This place is undeniably the best in the business, when I think of food in Ottawa I think of shawarma palace. Shawarma Poutine with garlic on top may just be the best poutine in the city ..

Food is good. Like everything, its not cheap...but thats everywhere now. The place is filthy though. No one takes away their trays, everyone just leaves their garbage at the tables, and while it gets removed, the floors under tables have as much food on them as your plates.

Ive been going to the Palace for years, usually very happy with it. I went yesterday and got my usual medium chicken salad and once I got home and opened it, I noticed the portion was half of what is usually is . Quite literally half. (and Ive eaten here probably 50-75 times) In the past, they sometimes had trouble closing the lid because the serving was so generous, now its half full. For $16! There are many other great shawarma options in Orleans - I recommend Grilled or Shawarma Chef. I wont be returning to the Palace for a long time, if ever. This was super disappointing.

First time trying shawarma palace! Bought myself a chicken shawarma. I was a little taken back becuase they only have one size of pita but they do stuff the shawarma full of chicken and veggies. Another thing I found VERY strange is that they only put sauce on the bottom but they dont offer any sauce on top. That really impacted my meal cause I ususally get hummus and tahini but the shawarma was still delicious. Overall, it was a good experience and Ill definitely be back!

I recently visited Shawarma Palace, and I was thoroughly impressed! The food was delicious everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The shawarma was tender and juicy, and the portions were generous. What stood out to me, though, was the amazing customer service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure that I had everything I needed. They went above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. If youre looking for a place with great food and top-notch service, Shawarma Palace is worth a visit!

The tables are very dirty and smell badly. The quality and quantity of shawarma are very low. Most of the dish salads and the one standing in the cashier she is always in a bad mood, never smiles, especially if you do not pay extra tips. Im just wondering why theyre forcing the customer to pay tips in the time it is self-service and badly cleaning the place. Do not waste your money in such a dirty place.

I would give this a 5 because the food is amazing service was fast and the place is clean and nice but unfortunately the lady at the cash is rude with a big attitude problem for no reason. She should put a smile on her face or something and be nicer to customers. This place would be perfect and I would ve had an amazing experience with wonderful food if only this rude lady would be fired or something or get a training on costumer service. Same attitude every time I come.

Just delicious every time

Was very shocking bisit tonight. Punch of unprofessional employees calling the young man who works in the back in Arabic ( slave come brong salad) and when i faced them with it they tried to hide from it and when i left i heared them swearing at me in Arabic and am with my kids. But they denied that they said anything. I am a regular who comes with his family but nomore. You can do anything except for treating kids who work minimum wage as slaves just because you make 17 an hour and he makes 15

I had a really bad experience at this restaurant. The staff were incredibly rude and didn t seem to care about customer satisfaction at all. When I tried to place my order, they barely listened to what I was saying, which led to my order being wrong. On top of that, when I pointed it out, they were dismissive and didn t offer any apology or solution. The overall attitude of the employees was disrespectful and unprofessional. It felt like they were more interested in getting rid of customers than actually serving them. I definitely won t be coming back.

I had a very bad experience with the restaurant, but I decided to give it one last chance. I came last Tuesday night, there were two lebanese employees, who greeted me in a very friendly manner, they were very attentive. To be frank the food was okay at best, but the exceptional service was enough to make me come back.

Eat-in or take-out, this is the best Shawarma Palace in the city. HOWEVER, if you are hungry and want quantity / value for your money, avoid their sandwiches. They dont do large sandwiches unfortunately. So, for the price of 2 of their sandwiches, grab a plate instead - and you will not be disappointed. They do the BEST plates!!! Tip: Buy a their $100 gift cards for $79.99 at Costco. A really good deal. (We drive out from downtown to this location when we are jonesin for plates. I do veggie, and my accomplice consistently does their chicken.) Everything is always so fresh. And, aside from the smallish à la carte sandwiches, portions are very generous! Repeat: Plates are the way to go here! Vegetarian options: LOVE their veggie plate!!!!!

Sorry I did not take a photo, so lets dive into the review. The restaurant is clean and large inside, especially compared with other shawarma joints. There are large party style tables to eat at, but most folks grab a meal to go. The service was fast and friendly. There is no shortage of people filling orders. Makes the visit very fast, and lets be honest, service is becoming a rarity these days! Now on to the food! If this place is not my new #1, it is certainly in the top 2. The chicken was moist and flavourful. The garlic sauce was just okay... but... but... let me finish. They have a spicy version that looks like its hardly ever used... and OMFG, it was delicious. Its the orange sauce out front. Its got a bit of heat but no after burn. Just ask for a bit on the side to try it. You will love it. The hummus was very smooth and tasty. The rice and salads were great. The roasted potatoes were awesome. Its so tender and full of flavor. And, we must talk portion size. Bang for buck. Very few places will match the serving size. Definitely great value. So, if its Shawarma night, take a trip to the Shawarma Palace. Enjoy!

Delicious food with friendly service at the counter and cash. We will definitely be back. My only feedback would be to have someone clean up the empty tables a little quicker. Its such a large and beautiful restaurant, however; it was hard to find a table, as most were occupied by empty trays/garbage from the previous patrons. Perhaps this is not the norm, and only happened on the day we visited.

Really disappointed after the overall good reviews I read about the restaurant online. We get inside to find the leftovers of previous customers havent been taken away yet in the center row where we wanted to sit.. Nevermind, maybe the cleaning staff was a bit short-handed or slow tonight so we decide to move the plates over ourselves and sit. Not too big of a deal. So we line up and order Kafta Kabab as we had a good feeling about this. Until then, service is fairly quick (we had all platters in around 10 minutes which is appreciated) the staff is smiling and the portions are fairly large for what you pay (or almost...). But Dear God how salty and sour was it!! So much that none of us could even go any further than a few bites! Apart from rice, all was overly salty and it ruined it all! Once the garlic creamy sauce got mixed with the potatoes and meat... You couldnt even tell one from the other. Food quality was (far) below our expectations and we left the meal as-is (I should have taken a picture because that was a waste). We paid around CA$25 (drinks included) per person. Ill never ever go back there again.

The shawarma taste like water.Even my little son dont liked . Even the racoon didint eat that thing. I think i got scamed for all of that.also if you want to help me you can try to no throw it away because at this point if you throw it its gonna be reporoducing nuclair polution even the delivery guy thanked me because i took it from his car.

Quality shawarma, keep eating a lot here, on rare occasions got mixed up with orders, but food quality and freshness can t be beaten by any other shawarma , if it is shawarma then it s palace. Update*** Don t go before close , quality of chicken and meat going to be super bad. We got diarrhoea for two days. Another visit, another time I m not happy with shawarma place orleans food quality and customer service. I feel shawarma palace Orleans doesn t deserve the name shawarma palace as it s nothing like the downtown location and southkeys, which they usually have better quality food and better service.

Everyone had the large loaded chicken shawarma and it was so good . One of my favorite shawarma restaurants. The food is always fresh and the sandwiches are always very good. I rarely see anyone sitting in the restaurant. Most of their business is takeout. The food is good the people are frendly the restaurant is clean.

Huge portion sizes, fun staff, nice open space. Like all the other Shwarma Palaces in Ottawa, there really isnt a better bang for your buck. Especially if you want real food. Theres a lot of fat, sodium, and carbohydrates in the food, but the fats are from a good source of oils for the most part. Great if youre a bodybuilder in an off-season.

The young woman on the front cash register is very rude and argumentative to the customers.Not just me I witnessed her being very rude to people in line ahead of me.

I love coming here. Once a week at least I come in to get a chicken sandwich and it literally is the highlight of my week. Love eating here. However, we have very poor service at the end with the lady working at the cash register when paying. To make our order the gentlemen at the back served us very well. I was really shocked. Because I think that as. customers have the right to change their minds and say that we ultimately want two invoices instead of one initially. I just think she is racist and judged us on our appearance. As Muslims we too like her or quite simply in all religions respect is the basis. We will never return to this place again. Hello, I have been a big fan of Shawarma Palace Recently, ai noticed that the portion of the Shawarma platter got noticebly smaller, eventhough one platter costs 22 dollars before tax. I understand that due to the current inflation, all costs have risen. However, I expected the quanity and the quality would stay thr same if the platter price went up. I will be looking at other shawarma places in Ottawa.

I have been to this location a few times, but lately the quality of food is not the same as its other locations. Hopefully, they will improve their quality of food.

Standard shawarma place. Except they charge to ask for hummus on the side in a little container when any other shawarma place will do it for free Edit: I can t have the garlic sauce it makes me sick. I explained to management this situation a few years ago and they said I had reason and I shouldn t pay extra if I request on the side. Been going for a few years to this location and everything was good but today after a few years of making this request, I asked for hummus on the side i notice same old rule and still asking for extra money. They didn t tell their employees the first time. I paid $25 for the plate but they still want extra for the same amount of hummus they give on the plate for free but because I want it on the side I have to pay more.

Shawarma palace is a wonderful place to grab your shawarma meal from; however, last weekend I went there with my family and ordered a Kabab family meal. To my surprise the family mean is only 8 skewers like barely 2 lbs and the was for almost $120. What made it even worse that 4 skewers were partially burnt...save your money and do unburnt 12 lbs Kabab at home for the same price.

A great alternative to McDonalds in Orléans for late night dining. And also a great option anytime they are open. The mixed platter is my favorite. We come here all the time. Today we had 3 shawarma sandwich. We got barely some chicken in the sandwich. And the test was sour. And the bowl of potatoes are so bad. Potatoes were dying. No test at all of anything. Very disappointed today.

Too expensive and not worth the money. a small sandwich really you have to order several per person which costs around $12 I prefer to go to a good restaurant for that price.

Having lived in the Middle East when I was younger, I distinctly remember the flavour of a well made shawarma. I tend to find locations in Ottawa that at least come close to this specific taste/ quality. Shawarma Palace is nearly identical to what I remember from living in Riyadh. Their portions are massive on their platters and they dont skimp on toppings or sauce. Garlic sauce is on point! Only suggestion I would give is serving staff need to slow down just a bit. Costumers feel incredibly rushed even during slow periods. Other than that the place is great and Im quite happy that this company took over from Montanas which was also a favourite at this specific location.

It was delicious but a bit overpriced

I dined at this restaurant today and my experience was quite mixed. While the food was delicious, the service left much to be desired. The staff taking orders seemed rushed and lacked courtesy. Neither of them smiled and their tone was rather impolite, making me feel uncomfortable. I was on the verge of expressing my dissatisfaction. Hopefully, the restaurant will take steps to improve its customer service in the future.
