NUVO Lounge 295 in Ottawa

A great place to be. Security are welcoming DJ top notch I had fun.

gave me cancer. got some tickets to check the place out, was told to come back later because no one was here, came back later and they charged me to come back in again, for there to again be no one there. left lol but very irratating.

Good atmosphere and decent crowds. Plus nice staff and reasonable entrance fees and waiting time.Went with friends for NYE 2024.. Will be favorite place while next visits..

Nice club, spacious and not clustered & fairlypriced drinks. The servers are pretty friendly, especially when they are reaping you off! Beware, they add their own tip to your bill and make sure you don't notice! Imagine buying 2 bottles of tequila that's sold for $240 each, but each time, the server added $80 tip to my bill! Imagine that! That's not just criminal but unethical! That's way more than 30% tip! That's robbery! Especially when it didn't come from my freewill. Secondly, they need to change their DJ! Kills the vibes everytime he switches from one genre to another! I mean, playing off a playlist on Spotify would have been a better gig! And music just stops once it's 2:30am. I've never experienced that in a club before in my life! Finally, having learnt my lessons as a first timer, I am likely to visit again, this time more alert with the servers.

Went there for an event. Great lighting and vibe, but the place was overcrowded. The dance floor is in basement level so there is practically no ventilation. It was hot, humid, sticky, and suffocating. They really need to invest in the ventilation. Coat check-in was $9 but they accept debit cards.

The decor was very pretty and spacious. The music is great, however the sound frequency was too high when we visited last Saturday night. We could not stay there for long... Also, it takes a while to fill up, so coming before midnight is not recommended. The cover is free for ladies and $10 for guys.

This is by far the best place to be in Ottawa. My expectations were surpassed! Great music, electric atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks. I love the safety and security protocols as well. Jay, you made our day!! Like I mentioned to you, my friends and I WILL BE BACK!! If anyone is interested in visiting this location, ask for Jay, he will make sure your night is a memorable one!
