Don Burrito in Ottawa

As a burrito expert, I can confirm that this place is the best. Great portions and lots of ingredient options at a great price. My only suggestion is to rotate the onions and peppers so they are not so overcooked

Ordered here through UberEats and I regret every single bit of my experience from the wait time to getting the actual food. I got a burrito but they couldn t even get the right choice of meat or ANYTHING I ordered for that matter they just freestyled my burrito and the nachos I had ordered... Such a joke. If it s late and you want something to eat please do not order with them. I never leave reviews on anything but I ve never had an experience like this and am really disappointed for the amount of money I paid. Why give me options if you re just going to do whatever you feel like

June 28,22 This Bald gentleman at night working WAS PUTTING FINGERS IN MOUTH TO CLEAN HIS TEETH. And making burgers with same hand. Not only that he was super rude and talking me down and belittling me. Definitely wont be coming here again. The place is not hygeine.

Fast food Mexican. It wasnt bad. Its like a subways for Mexican fast food classics (burrito, taco salad, etc). Friendly service and a lot of parking.

What I like best are the desserts LOVE the cookies, I cant say that I have ordered often as its a go to when I need a restaurant late for my sweet tooth. I dont know if the desserts are home made but they sure taste like they are the cookies are great and the brownie order is a fantastic price, they are really good and the tarts are huge. Vegetarian options: They have veggie dishes on the main menu...you can add or not add what you want. Im pretty sure you could likely create a Vegan option with the choices.

was a loyal customer for last 5 years. The food was amazing when the place was owned by the original founders. However, since the new management or ownership has taken over, the quality has drastically decreased. The customer service is also now very poor. Have not ordered or visited the place since the new ownership (a year).

By far the best Mexican food in Ottawa and the entire Ontario. The food is very tasty and the staff is friendly. I visit the place weekly because no need to cook at home when I found a variety of food in one place.

Just ordered from here, was excited to try their quesidilla! Opened the box to have a bug fly out at me. Brown the size of my fingernail or so, really hope he was riding solo. Slammed the box shut and ran it to the trash outside. I hope this was just bad luck or maybe the drivers fault from Uber. However, definitely looking into it, going to be in contact with both. Cant even think of take out right now, let alone sleep now on an empty stomach!

Just ordered on Doordash. They dont seem to know that you need to warm up corn tortillas. I ate my tacos with a fork. Dont bother ordering the chips either, you get an extremely tiny portion.

I really want to give a good review because I love Mexican food and the food looked really good. However, it did not taste nearly as good as it looked. I ordered a pulled pork quesadilla with chips and guacamole. The pulled pork was very dry and chewy and the quesadilla was soggy (I ordered from skip so maybe thats why it was soggy, but why would the pulled pork be so flavorless and chewy?). The guacamole had a weird after taste and the chips were stale. Would not recommend this place.

I always get the shredded beef burrito!!! Always so big and delicious!! I also tried for my first time the chicken quesadilla and it was very tasty Aswell. My to go to burrito place for sure!!

Ordered on door dash, had issues with the order and called to ask a question. Whoever answered the phone was incredibly rude and short with us. Food arrived and it was just okay.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant .The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Taco Salad & Burrito is crazy .Staff are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Rates were reasonable. Highly recommended. Can t wait to return and wouldn t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in town. Definitely a lifetime customer!

If I get a vegan burrito, they dont charge me for guac. I hate it when other places charge me more even thought I didnt get any meat.

I have been to Merivale and Kanata locations, and the St. Laurent location is even better... quality marinade and the best service! Sometimes at the other locations they dont know how to balance the ingredients, so you end up with a bursting burrito. In the case of St. Laurent Burrito Griggo, the ingredients were well portioned, fresh, and not too liquidy (soggy burritos are the worst). Very happy with the experience, Merivale and especially Kanata please take notes!

Definitely never going to this location again. Smaller portions, less options, and not clean counters etc. The cookies were even smaller and very stale. Customer service was average to slightly below average, food was okay but not worth the money. Was still hungry. Worst burrito I ever had from them.

Honestly I thought chepotle was the best until tonights feast on fast food. This place is not only fast, but fresh. Honestly the difference between cilantro and chicken, and just a plain old chicken homemade burrito is astounding! Service with a smile and in so stuffed with goodness, I cannot even think of a single detail that was not pleasing to my palot. Burrito Gringo, inside the food court at st Lauren Centre. Ottawa,ON. Go get a large.

Food is amazing cooked freshed never frozen. Portion to price ratio is phenomenal Atmosphere is clean and welcoming. The staff is passionate and the owner is above and beyond. Kind and considerate and very personable. 10/10 would recommend. Xoxo

Im really big on customer service. I got a burrito bowl and it was fantastic. I can only give 2 star due to horrible customer service. The girl on the cash forgot my bread that comes with my buritto. Nor did she say hello. Thank you nothing. Very rude. Sorry the food was great but I wont return until you provide customer service skills to your employees

This place is. The best. Food and ingredients are fresh, well marinated, delicious. Portions are phenomenal! The cookies are to die for. Burgers and fries are well above any fast food place and then some. Their whole menu is great! Owner is super nice and involved, amazing standards and attention to detail. It shows in how attentive his staff is, in the food prep and customer service. This is a regular for me and I bring everyone I know there times: nachos, burritos, burgers

This is probably THE BEST Mexican food i ve had let alone in Ottawa but of all places i ve tried it! Price was great, food was amazing! I had the tofu tacos... OH EMMMM GEE!!! My husband had the mexican ground beef burrito bowl and absolutely LOVED IT!!! Definitely a place to try and keep coming back to over and over again!

I loved this place when it was called John Juan . I just moved to the area and loved the burger and fries a few times I went. I just got take out just now under its new name. The burger tasted strange ( cant really explian how. Might have been under cooked i dont know)and sadly the fries were very under cooked. There is a stuffed burger joint up the street that I have not tryed yet so that will be the next place I try.

Been to this location many times, sometimes just for drinks as they carry Jarritos which I love. Ive gotten many different things from their menu. Nothing so far has been bad, since I dont get meat in my burritos they even offer to add more cheese/beans for no extra cost. The staff is always nice and the food is fresh.

Burrito was super soggy and poorly wrapped. When I opened the tin foil wrapping the burrito just unfurled and completely fell apart before i even took the first bite, making it impossible to eat properly. Its astounding they would even hand me an unwrapped burrito in the first place. Would not recommend and wont order from here again.

Really not impressed with how long it took to get my order from SkipTheDishes tonight, over an hour waiting for it to be prepared and then another 15 to arrive. Even if it was busy, I dont know how two burritos would take an hour and a half to work out.

Really good Mexican food.. open till 11. We had the veggie burrito bowl (guacamole is free) and the pulled pork burrito.. everything was delicious. The taco salad and the quesedilla looked really good too! Maybe next time!

Worst mexican food I have ever had. Ordered from skip the dishes and took almost an hour to get my food just to recieve it being soggy and cold. My fiance ordered tacos and it was literally a tortilla bread with some meat thrown on it and sauce. For 40$ waste of money. Will never order from this restaurant again. Driver was extremely rude.

my quesadilla was lacking... got veggie.. not much to put on it. a few slices of peppers,beans,a small amount of cheese.. salsa was hot, no mild. guacamole was good. the burritos looked good and loaded (thats what Ill get next time.. if I go)

The staff is friendly

Unfortunately, this last time I got a burrito there was a piece of bone in my shredded beef. I have been to many mexican places, had many burritos and Never have I bitten into bone. Thats all it takes I will Not be going back and taking a chance of bone in my beef.

Service is fine, but you HAVE to specify that you a WARM taco or they give you a taco that feels like it just came out of the fridge, this has happened to me twise at this location, if it happens again im never going back. 3rd strike you out
