Gabriel Pizza in Ottawa

The Gabriel pizza location on Bank in Hunt club is 2.9 km from my house. After an hour of waiting my pizza was delivered to me ice cold the box was so cold my fingers got cold holding it When I called my complaint and I talked to somebody that called themselves the manager all they were willing to do was offer me a 15% discount on my next pizza they were not willing to refund my money. In my opinion you want a pizza dont order it from Gabriel order from someone else.

Gabriels- Bank/HuntClub - Great breakfast. Generous portions - fast service - Mireille always greets us with a smile Vegetarian options: Veggie Omelettes - sliced tomatoes and side sausage..

The interior is dated but its exactly what I expected for this type of eatery hence the high rating. Both the pizza and pasta dishes are excellent as is the service. Our next quest is going to be enjoying breakfast there. Stay tuned.

Terrible service but good pizza

Great place for breakfast..

Could not pick up from this location, only walk in orders and wait for pizza. We opted to eat at the restaurant. Some servers dont speak English at all. Food took forever. Also breakfast menu only. No lunch menu. Our whole meal took 2+ hours. Also way more expensive in person than online or pick up order. Would not recommend.

I had breakfast I ate my whole breakfast pretty well before receiving my toast the server was busy however their were 3 others standing around chatting never once was I asked if I wanted a refill on my drink ..still left a tip for the server but wanted to let the owners know that maybe someone should keep an eye on the window when I finally got my toast they were rock hard

Great place from breakfast to dinner, I have always been a big fan of their breakfast but show up early as they are busy. We showed up early and were seated and greeted, servers are extremely busy as this place is usually packed but always make sure to say hello, from order to having our food was perfect. Food is always good, my favourite is the French toast with fresh fruit on top, classic breakfast you can never go wrong with either. Fast service, great quality food, and friendly staff.

Great spot for a tasty breakfast. There is something different at this Gabriels location than the others when it comes to breakfast. It seems way more effort is put in to making the meals. Almost like a chef in the kitchen instead of a cook. I dont know whats up with their bacon but it is ridiculous good. Im told its the unique way the chef cooks it. I give this place 10 starts for their effort because its noticeably better compared to the exact same meal at another location within the same chain. The waitresses are more friendly and bubbly and can actually carry on a conversation with you rather than getting straight to business and being short with their clients. It is not the fastest place to go for breakfast but it is clear everything is made to order. Your bacon or sausage arent coming out of a huge tray that was made 3 days before.

The food is good. Service good. Atmosphere good. The low rating is because we dined in the restaurant at this location and they charge $4.25 for a coke with NO refills! Outrageous pricing. If youre going to charge that much for a coke provide refills

Great pizza, service needs a bit of work. Phoned in a order recently while visiting family in Ottawa. We had a $4 off coupon that had been received recently. When we asked about it we were put on hold while the call taker talked to management. We were told, because we called the call center the coupon was not valid and it was for pick up only... Weird thing is we called the number on the coupon card for the hunt club location and the coupon said it was valid for deleviry. Based on them not honoring their coupon I would not recommend this location even if the pizza is great.

Good pizza and nice people. The tomato sauce is sweeter than I d like and it s a lot better fresh than as a leftover. Garlic dip was good and tasted like it was made of fresh garlic

So Gabes is decent pizza overall, compared to what is around the Alta Vista area. But this was my garlic dip, completely separated, freaking gross, yes I can just mix it up but nasty to open. Again decent for the area, the best is probably K&S.

My partner and I used to go for breakfast often on weekends, when we First started dating. It became quite a regular Sunday tradition for us. I got pregnant just before the pandemic started. We fantasized about bringing our new baby for the breakfast specials, ironically, she is allergic to eggs. We went back for breakfast recently just the two of us for old times sake while our preschooler stayed home with our teenager and the server remembered our usual order, from almost 3 years ago! Just last weekend we were in for pizza with the kids and thought the dough was egg free, the chef came out to explain the dough does have egg and that he could easily make her, her own pizza with a veggie crust. On top of which he insisted it was on the house, you guys really have a way of making us feel like family, thank you.

Consistent food and above par but not excellent pizza. Usually the place picked when multiple people have their own favorite pizza place They also have really good dinner style dine in breakfasts.

Pizza was very late and nothing offered. Agent on the phone said orders take an hour and half on Thursdays however the website says 45 minutes. They offered nothing more than a cold apology. I will never order from Gabriel again, there are plenty of cheaper options that are just as good and dont take so long. Avoid this one if you are hungry.

Went there for breakfast as it was recommended. I had bacon and eggs with home fries. I asked for caramelized onions on the home and they were really good. The breakfast also came with a 1/4 slice of an orange and a small slice of watermelon. It was a nice addition to the breakfast. I asked for orange juice and to my surprise they gave me a large glass with it. The kids meas was pancakes and they had the same fruit but 3 large pancakes. Way more than a young child would eat. It was a little on the pricy side for breakfast but the meal was hot and the service was great. I will go back when next in the area.

Gabriel Pizza, in my opinion, has the best pizza in town. They offer a variety of topping choices and crust thicknesses. The deliver is fast and very friendly. I have tried many places and they are good at times and not so good other times. I always go back to Gabriels. They also give a lot to the community, which says a lot about a company.

Amazing food, and the staff are wonderful. I go here to eat all day breakfast all the time. They also give a military discount.

It was the first time i tried Gabriel Pizza. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. I ordered the 2 small pizza for 25$, the guy in the front put 30$ in the interac machine, saying this includes taxes. Obviously 25$ plus taxe is 28.25$ and not 30$!!! If you want the tip, earn it and dont force people to give it.

Meat lasagna was just noodles, cheese and sauce. Very disappointing for the price. Ate less than half before giving up and throwing it in the garbage.

Very yummy and delightful food, the mozzarella sticks with the fries and cheese pizza with a drink side of crush soda. Is so yummy.

Fantastic pizza. Got the Hawaiian cookout, with extra chilli flakes and BBQ sauce. It was amazing. The staffs were kind and friendly. Definitely coming back.

Great pizza. This place has a feel much like I remember pizza hut back when it was a fun place to take the family. The staff was super friendly too. I understand the rest of the menu is pretty good as well. Maybe Ill get a chance to find out.

Good food in the restaurant, generous servings. The inexpensive salads in particular are a full meal, fresh with a good variety of ingredients. But they grossly overwork their staff: as the only waitress for a 46-seat restaurant, full at lunch time, Asli was running non-stop and doing her best the whole time. Shes the one deserving of the 5* rating.

The food was great. Got the platter, was bigger than it looked in the menu. Did not disappoint.

The pizza was ok. Nothing to go crazy over. Their breakfast is better in my opinion, specifically the pancakes. The bacon is a bit burnt and they give an overwhelming amount of homefries.

I saw the delivery driver take my pizza out of the trunk of his car, gross. All so he was smoking a cigarette, He dropped it halfway up the laneway, blowing his smokey breath in my face. When he handed me my pizza it was ice cold. I cannot believe the pizza and service I received from Gabriel pizza. Believe me I learned my lesson, and never ordered from Gabriel ever again. Never received an apology from them . Finally received an apology from a manager from the head office. He told me that, he was going to send me a gift certificate . That I never received. Again great service from Gabriel pizza. The worst pizza in Ottawa.

Ordered a pizza online at 11:38am, it was coming from this location (10 mins away from my shop). Delivered at 1:20pm. Almost 2 hours. Called Gabriels twice, they said they were busy, etc. Then be honest with your wait times. I planned it so my employees would eat then continue off to their next job, they waited an additional 40 mins (after the one hour proposed wait time) for the pizza to arrive after multiple calls for updates. No offer of a discount, refund. It basically cost me near $75 for a pizza between the pizza and wages since they werent honest. I could have just went and picked it up if I knew. Generally like them but theyre dropping the ball.

I Ordered A Gabriel Lasagna, So This Review Is Only Based On That. It Took About 10 Minutes To Receive My Lasagna Which Is Pretty Reasonable In My Opinion, Especially Considering The Amount Of Customers In The Restaurant Portion Of Gabriels. The Good: The Cheese And Sauce Were Incredible And The Pasta Was Perfectly Al Dente. The Bad: The Mushrooms Seemed Not Of Amazing Quality And When Taking A Bite With The Pepperoni That They Put In There Makes It Taste Unbearably Salty. Overall It Was Mostly Great. I Just Know They Can Step It Up A Notch In The Future.

I would normally give 5 plus stars but last night, on my 60th birthday alone because of damn Covid, I was disappointed. I asked the gentleman at the call centre to specify it was my 60th and I was treating myself so please make sure everything went well. Delivery arrived right at the 55 minute mark which was okay. Zucchini sticks were still warm to hot but the pizza was not. I love your hot pizza. I tried to heat in the oven, but tasted like reheated pizza. I will be back but...

Service was quick and friendly. I recommend getting there earlier than your desired eating time on a weekend if you are under 6 because they dont do reservations for less than that. Our wait time was about 10 mins but some people were going to be waiting for 15 to 25. Good food. Would come again :)

This is going to sound crazy but this Gabriels has a fantastic breakfast! I have started going out again to meet people and have breakfast here at least once a week. Breakfast is great, at a reasonable price with a worthwhile amount of food, and a bottomless cup of coffee. Staff are great, and its well positioned near Bank/Hunt Club.. Also, they have great pizza, which I have also had several times! Id you are looking for a sit-down restaurant in South Keys, this is the place!

Meal size was very good, got approximately 5 or 6 pieces of bacon rather than the 3 in the description. Home fries could use a bit more seasoning but overall a great breakfast.

We dont live in Ottawa anymore so no Gabriels pizza. Boo. But we have figured out a way to bring it home and REVIVE it like it was just fresh out of the oven. Seriously! Although, there was much trial and error, even then yummy! I also like going for breakfast. They have pretty much anything you could want in brekkie foods. From a host of bennys, bagels and lox, to everyday bacon and eggs with home fries. And its good. Staff are usually friendly and quick, inviting you in with a smile and asks you to choose where youd like to sit (if its not too busy; then they seat you). Both my partner and I are slightly mobility challenged, so its rather important that I dont sit in typical restaurant-type chairs. So a booth is where we head. Oh, and coffee isnt too bad at all. Ive had it both as a double-double (bring your own raw sugar, they only have white or the chemical stuff), and also with Baileys as thats how I normally drink it. Its all good. ( )

Gotta say Im disappointed. Second visit recently and it took over 30 mins for lunch to be served. It was not busy in the restaurant also my steak sub was not shaved meat for the little bit if meat. Server was very kind Hopefully my third visit wont be my last their food is usually amazing

I didn t know Gabriel s did breakfast until today. It was actually really good. Lots of food for the price. They even gave extra bacon. My coffee mug was always kept full by the server. I would definitely come back here. Great service.

I ve been coming here for years whenever I crave breakfast food, I don t do it often but when I do, I ALWAYS come here! I ve had bad experiences at Cora s, Denny s, Eggspectations and a few other places that serve breakfast. Denny s isn t bad necessarily but it pales in comparison to this gem. I ve never once had a bad experience let alone even one inconsistent breakfast. It always tastes the same (which is amazing), they have THE best value for their breakfast prices always being a lot of food on the plate (I m a big guy and I m always full), and best of all, they have the nicest servers always giving stellar service. Best service, best value, and best quality in the city, I don t know how much better it can really get. Now I almost don t want to post this review because it just means it ll get busier and that means harder to get a spot, but they deserve the best review. I highly recommend the farmers breakfast (double the amount of meat so 6 bacon if you choose that, home fries which are amazingly seasoned, fruit, 3 eggs, AND your choice of pancakes or french toast). I really have trouble finishing this and that makes me so happy because I rarely go to other places and feel full! It gets busy on weekends so be mindful of that but it s still fast service and honestly it doesn t matter because when that food comes, it ll be well worth it!

Gabriel s at Towngate pleases again! We love the pizzas, club sandwiches platter, chicken donair platter, Greek salad, and everything else we ve gotten from Gabe s. They consistently deliver fresh, delicious, hot (or in the case of salad, cold) food. We ve never been disappointed. Keep being awesome Gabriel s Towngate!

We order from here when Im out visiting my family in the south end of Ottawa. Last time we ordered the pizza was outstanding! Loads of toppings and it was cooked to perfection. Really impressed.

Food and service was amazing! Our server Sarah was able to guide us through ordering with gluten and dairy allergies. The gluten free crust and vegan cheese pizza was definitely one of the best Ive had. Will definitely be coming back.

We were the only people in the restaurant on Sunday at 530pm. Took way too long to get our order. And our server Joanne had her airpods in her ear the whole time and was barely paying attention to us. She forgot many things on our order. So disappointed.
