Its older, its not modern, but its a staple in Ottawa and the food is always excellent. Rema should be the next Prime Minister. She and her team Rocks!!

Louis is 5 starts all the way! I called a day in advance to make a large pre order for work, they were already swamped with orders, but still they called in their chef early to accommodate us. We go there to pick up the pizzas and were greeted by all of the staff, even in the kitchen and they made us feel so welcomed and important. THEN on top of all this they gave us an extra heart shaped pizza on the house to wish our group a happy holidays. This is all included in the fact the pizza and dipping sauce is the best I have had in a long time. Definably a top spot in Ottawa. If you havent tried it yet you will not be disappointed.

Still serves great pizza at reasonable prices as can be seen by the crowd eating there and the many, many people arriving to collect their Takeout Pizzas. Friendly service makes 8t that much better!

ion: Louis Pizza is a true classic. It was my first time back in 20 years, and the place feels like it hasn t changed in at least 40 and I mean that in the best way possible. The food is just as great as I remember, and the people are warm and welcoming. The ambiance? Well, you really have to experience it for yourself it s one of a kind. On top of that, there s lots of value for your money, which is rare these days. The service is excellent, too friendly and available in French, English, and maybe even other languages I couldn t recognize. This is the kind of place that stays true to its roots and keeps people coming back. Love it, and I ll definitely be returning sooner this time!

Finally, I had the opportunity to share a family meal at this restaurant, after having shared several with work colleagues. True to the services previously received, the family really appreciated: impeccable food and service. I cant wait to share this place with others. This place is an institution in the greater Federal Capital Region. For a rare time 5 .

Thank you for the free coconut cream pie for my daughter s birthday. The pizza had a big bald spot on it sadly. Very friendly place like stepping back in time to when I was a kid. Ok, first the good. Service is excellent, fun lively atmosphere. But if I am being honest, pizza was just not great, neither were the wings. It wasn t terrible, just average.

Usually the take out is ok. The cheese they use is very good quality but the pizzas are way too thick. I went went to sit in on a busy saturday and it was very crowded and not much space to move around. The pizzas seemed rushed and was very floppy and thick crust. The waitress was great but I definitely wouldnt order on a busy night if the food is going to be rushed.

Staff is always amazing It gets crowded and can be loud, but its worth it... Vegetarian options: Just tell them what u want and they will make it. Kid-friendliness: Very family oriented Wheelchair accessibility: Theres a ramp and table available for wheelchair. My only concern is that the bathrooms are small.

everything about this place was so homey and welcoming and the food was AMAZING sadly we didnt get a chance to sit and dine but we devoured it when we got home (couldn t get to take any photos cause we were really hungry ) definitely the place for a belly full and the customer service was absolutely amazing

Spent a night on Ottawa on our way home from a family east coast vacation. Kids asked for pizza dinner, so after a quick search for best pizza Ottawa found Louis and took the family for an old-fashioned sit-down pizza parlour type dinner. In a word? WOW! Large half-and-half pizza for our family of 5 was more than enough. Kids loved it, and me being a self declared pizza aficionado, this was one of the best pies Ive ever tasted (up there with the best Ive had in Chicago, Detroit, and Napoli, Italy. So nice to see a long-standing family restaurant like this still operating and obviously LOVED by their community. Had dessert too and their famous pies (lemon) also exceeded expectations. Extensive menu Id love to eat my way through after seeing so many awesome looking plates being served to others. One of the dining highlights of our 13-day trip, loved by everyone! Thanks for a great meal and experience.

Absolutely loved it here! Found Louis Pizza on accident when driving by and decided to take a chance; best decision of my life. My family and I ordered a wide array of items where I had the french onion soup (blistering hot but so delicious), and the chicken burger platter (pro tip: put the coleslaw IN the sandwich). I didnt take any pictures which is a total shame because everything was fresh and homemade (and you could taste it ). We came around 5 on a Saturday and we were lucky to get a table! The inner atmosphere was bustling and had pictures/posters of Louis Pizza memorabilia, including many letters from famous people raving about the food. Overall, amazing place if youre looking for delicious food in Ottawa!!

I came from Hamilton to have some pizza. I love this pizza sometimes when I go back home, I will bring several half cooked pizza back to Hamilton. I freeze them and then I put them in a freezer bag to go home and then I cook them when I get there. absolutely delicious.

Ordered their food through a delivery app. They upcharged me 4.00$ for absolutely nothing, and the food tasted really mediocre. They just use franks hot sauce for their wings, and the wings are incredibly small. Honestly, I wasted my money here.

The lady at the cashier is extremely rude and disrespectful. I went there, and she purposely forgot to give me the menu. Had to wait for 6 min for someone to come over and give it to me ( when she said she would give it) Then, at the checkout, she saw me coming and kept messaging someone on her phone while I was stading to pay. Didnt even said anything, not a thanks your or anything else. Worst employee of the month. Do not recommend to anyone they discriminate foreigner.

Every big city worldwide has this random legendary place like Louis Pizza in Ottawa. When people visiting Ottawa want the best pizza in the city I say go to Louis. I have been going there for decades since I was a kid. The hype about Louis is true. Its probably the best pizza in Ottawa, the staff is really, really friendly people and some have worked there for decades now. Its not the most comfortable of restaurants in Ottawa but you dont go there for the decor - you go there for the food. The pizza is fantastic, but everything else I tried on the menu is great. The pies and the rice pudding are great too. My only constructive criticism with the restaurant outside the fact that the chairs are not super comfortable, and that the soda fountain never, ever seems to work for decades now which is a shame and since Covid they cut down their hours in the morning due to staffing issues I think. I must add, breakfasts at Louis are quite good too. Parking: Parking is a bit of a minor hassle since the Asian supermarket opened next door years ago - but Louis now have their own parking lot.

It hardly seems necessary to review what must be Ottawas most famous pizza restaurant, but for those who havent had the pleasure, do yourself a favour and get a Louis Pizza. Louis Pizza has been in business for decades and has a well-deserved reputation for amazing pizza. The restaurant is a bit cramped, but its not uncomfortable. If the restaurant is full, its because of how popular Louis Pizza is, and not a reflection on the wait staff. If you cant eat in, take a pizza with you. You wont regret it.

The place seems old but never dirty. Food re delicious, specially their dessert coconut cake. We traveled extra 1hr to Ottawa just to bring their food back to Mississauga. Worthy choice

Everything is always perfect at this spot, its a known legend in Ottawa for pizza. Only thing I can complain about is they NEVER seem to have chocolate cream pies when we order and we havent had it in years and we miss it LOL not a valid complaint though because it just shows that we LOVE their food. They still almost always have coconut or banana cream pie which is a close 2nd favourite :)

Love going to family owned restaurants. This one is opened since 1970. The staff was extremely friendly. Prices are decent. The restaurant needs a little bit of love. I was afraid that my booth seats was going to break under me. Super busy at dinner time.

I made an enormous mistake tonight. We were planning to order pizza but (foolishly) decided on trying a different, but similar style pizza spot. Needles to say, all I could taste was the regret of not ordering from Louis. I have nothing but praise for the pizza and the people of Louis. Louis is normally our go to, and after trying another pizza, I promise to be completely devoted to the superb pies at this treasured neighborhood institution.

First time ordering from Louis(they dont deliver but you can order through UberEats). Large pizza with 2 large garlic dipping sauce(you only need one large per pizza, trust me) with tax, tip and delivery it came up to $58... totally worth it. Louis Pizza is now part of my top 5 best pizza places in Ottawa. Highly recommend!

Favorite poutine experience ruined. Warm fries topped with delicious warm gravy and cold out of the fridge smallest handful of curds. When you hope theres some more cheese on the bottom and all you get is cold fries. There was a time when they backed the poutine and the cheese would stretch out and all the meal was hot, I will give it some time before going back. Hopefully, itll get better.

I love love love this place and it s by far the best pizza I ve had in Canada- between living in Vancouver/calgary/regina/ottawa. I was spoiled by living in Boston for a few years, and nothing compares but Louis IS SO GOOD. The crust is PERFECTION on their pizzas! All the desserts are made in house, the chocolate cake is amazing, it s rich and decadent vs. the usual sickly sweet garbage you get. All the pies are amazing too. I actually ordered Louis for the first time because I was craving a chicken Caesar salad and I was blown away by their chicken. It s unbelievably good, too. My only criticism is they never give enough dressing on the salad on the side, but aside from that it s one of my fav places to eat ever, Abd the staff is SO NICE.

Pizza is outstanding. However, salads are poorly dressed. Too much lettuce and lack of other ingredients. Photos on the menu are different from the orders you get on the table.
