Ive never been more disappointed in a poutine. The box for the large poutine, which isnt very big to begin with, came less than half filled. I paid extra for onions (+$1.50) and extra cheese (+$2) - there was barely any cheese at all, and they added 6 half slices of onions. Huge price tag in the end, with delivery came up to $23. The delivery guy was nice though, Ill at least give them that.

This one star review is only based on the two slice combo I bought last Saturday evening (around midnight). The crust was too doughy. It was difficult to hold the slices. They folded in my hands. it also looked like the dough did not rise. Maybe it came out of the oven too soon. I have no problem with the combo price or the staff. I use to eat here often when it was under a different owner. It was a family of brothers. The pizza was slices were fantastic. I remember in 2007 they use to have a pizza slice, salad, and drink combo for $5. I know those days are gone and those prices are not reasonable today.

A good place to get pizza after a night out. Staff is pretty chill and tolerant of the crowd that comes in after the clubs/bars close.

I ordered 60$ worth of pizza I ordered bacon strips and they put crumble I called to complain and they said that their strips were not strips but why are they called bacon strips if they aren t strips? They were very rude on the phone and didn t even apologize for the inconvenience they proceeded to tell me I was wrong. Horrible service and they are very stingy on the toppings. Also they vegetables were old.

My chicken tenders were less than 20 seconds from being burnt. Chicken was so dried out that it didnt even taste like anything. Also, my deep fried cheese curds were overcooked and not that great as well. Ive been to many different Milanos locations. Mainly, Carleton Place and Smiths Falls. Both of those two restaurants are above and beyond. Yet this downtown Ottawa location is horrifying. Very strange. Anyhow, I wont be returning. I would rather drive an hour to carleton place than order from this location again. Im truly disappointed.

Beyond incredible customer service. Ordered pizza to my hotel at around 2:30 AM. They called me to let me know they were out of the sauce I ordered and they wanted to make it right. I realized I d ordered something I was allergic to, and they went above and beyond to accommodate me. They had no reason to be so helpful as this was my mistake, but I ve never had better service in my life. Great allergy friendly & vegan/vegetarian spot. Food was tasty and hot. Quick delivery & prep time. I highly recommend this place and would give thousands of stars if possible! Dietary restrictions: Super accommodating! Delicious.

Well, that was a sad experience. Not enough pepperoni, crust was not really good, expensive (4$ each slice)... how can you do this? The place itself look a bit trash. I didnt appreciate at all. Im not the kind to give a 1* but maybe I should. Staff was ok however, fast and easy going.

Would have rather eaten a frozen boxed pizza. Wings were dry and pizza was sub par. For $130 for 3 pizzas and 3 lbs of wings would have expected something to be of some quality. Would have given zero stars if possible.

Good old fashioned, thick crust pizza. Ordered a small pepperoni, walked across the street from my hotel. An honest pizza. Exactly what I expected and wanted. No chichi stuff.

I ordered a medium canadian pizza. It was so thin and definitely not double cheese. The wings were under done and next to no sauce was sposed to get a free deep fried Mars bars and the we not with our horrible order. I will never order from here again..

Your bus driver. I was looking for a pizza place that wasn t part of a chain. I found Milanos and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza crust, the cheeses and the pepperoni. Service was quick and very friendly. My pizza was ready in ten minutes and was a true delight to eat. Ignore the negative comments as I doubt they are from real customers. Great food and excellent prices to boot!!!

Ordered the other night. The pizza was good and did have lots of toppings. I did ask for regular crust and ended up with thin crust which was fine, but the garlic sauce is from Heinz which was very disappointing.

. It seems regular crust which I chose out of thin is pretty thin. The ingredients where very light in quantity and cheese just covered the pizza. It was tasty but, I don t find the value in and extra Large for $36 with tip. I really would like to see a place make pizza with thick and dressed like a pizza should be. It seems it difficult to get good value and good fast food these days.

This is not the NORMAL milano.. this is part of a franchise yet their pizza is horrible do not order from this specific location. the crust is thinner than thin crust. When I called the restaurant to ask if there was a mistake they said no we trying new crust. I see by the reviews the must be trying it for a while now. MILANO used to be a decent pizza..... no more if this is their new norm. DO NOT ORDER THIS PIZZA thin crust pizza looks like it has been on your counter 2 days before garbage day.

It may not look like something fancy from the outside, but the food is really good (we had the Canadian and Hawaiian pizza) and the crew is so friendly! They were very kind in communication and helpful with a garlic/gluten intolerance. So, thanks! We really appreciate it. I can definitely recommend the place.

Basic ottawa-style pizza. Overpriced for the amount of food you get. Their extra large pizza can barely feed three people. Located in the market so a massive headache if you are driving. Not worth the money, not worth the hassle.

The food is great but I dont get why I couldnt get a poutine or wings at 1 AM but was forced to get a pizza... Plus the people inside were way too loud, that I had to intervene myself. The staff didnt do anything... Im never going back inside again!! Pizza Italie on the Gatineau side, at Portage is so much better!!!! And if in downtown Ottawa, go to Warehouse!! I love them!! P.S. No picture from the actual place, as I was too shocked.

I love Milano Dalhousie! The service is always fast, and the owners are just the most kind and hardworking people. They have TONS of vegan options which is a plus and they are so accommodating with delivery, no matter where you are downtown they ll always deliver straight to you. 100/10!

Had to change my review from a 5 star to a 1 star, i have always loved the food and service here but this time it just wasnt there and i dont want to keep spending more and more for them to rectify it on the next one. Crust was burned, next to no sauce on the wings and they forgot a dip again! Not sure if they charged for it but its missing non the less. Also asked for bbq sauce on top it was flooded with it. Too bad because the 2/10 times this place is on point is when the food is amazing.

BEST pizza weve ever had!! Stopped in on foot on a Saturday evening, service was amazing, the young lads were working so hard and they were polite and wonderful. Honestly, one of my favourite places to order food in Ottawa. Never had a bad experience. They pay attention to their regulars which is a lovely touch.

Ordered a half and half pizza, they gave me the wrong pizza by mistake due to a miscommunication, which is no big deal. They ended up replacing mine with the one I wanted free of charge, which is great. The issue is that I was genuinely shocked about how bad the pizza was. I ve gotten Milano s many times from a bunch of locations and it s been consistently good, but this pizza looked like a delissio frozen pizza. The sauce tasted like Ragu, the cheese was rubbery, the pepperoni was not cooked well and neither was the crust. Really hope they figure it out, truly disappointed.

Honeslty a let down every time. Just dont order from uber, its almost as if they bank on the fact that you can try and get a rufund so its like they intentionally dont put any effort in. Ordered twice, and never again. The one on Merivale is AMAZING, this doesnt even come close.

Didn t like my pizza toppings.

First time trying Milano pizza. Visited the Milano store on Merivale Road in Ottawa and was given a friendly greeting. Ordered a large meatlovers with extra cheese which i was told would be ready in fifteen minutes. Fifteen minutes it was ready and it was definitely hot and fresh. I was impressed by the nice fresh thick slices of pepperoni and bacon and the amount they put on. Excellent tasting pizza with a great crust. I will absolutely be ordering from Milanos from now on

Dont lose your taste and money! After reviewing the reviews I decide to give this place a shot. The old person behind the counter was extremely rude for no reason (worst customer service ever). I decided to walk out and order it from pizza hut instead (around the corner).

Worst pizza I have had in recent memory. I would rather have Pizza Pizza or One for One over what I received. Ordered on uber eats, and for the pizza, there were only 2 options: Thin & Thick crust. Thin was the default, so I assumed that was their standard, and having ordered from other locations in the past, I didnt want crust thicker than that. Well, the crust was very thin (which again, Id thought it was their standard), but even for a thin crust its not what Id expect. The crust was very dry and almost like the kind of crust used in a Chicago deep dish pizza, but it just doesnt work for thin crust. The toppings were of low quality, I thought Id be getting actual bacon for the price I paid, and I got ham crumble. The cheese was low quality, it seemed like the bagged cheese you buy at the store thats covered in cellulose to prevent sticking but it also makes it not very good at melting, because I could see the individual cheese shreds still formed on top. The pizza was dry, there was definitely not enough sauce, which is rarely a complaint I make, but with the crust as it was, and the dry low quality cheese, the whole thing was just bad. I had also ordered fried cheese curds. Half of them had exploded and were stuck together. You could also taste that the oil theyre using isnt fresh, the bitter and burnt flavours came through, even though they werent burnt. I got their fried chicken as well, which was okay. Easily the best thing I received, but nothing amazing. But it was supposed to come with coleslaw and gravy, neither of which were included. Overall, this is the worst pizza experience of recent memory, and I will not order from here again.

NOT RECOMMENDED! Very Disappointed. I shouldve read the reviews here before ordering from Uber Eats. We ordered 30 pcs. chicken wings in hot and honey garlic flavour with french fries. The fries is absolutely tasteless, no salt at all. The wings was too dry over cooked and surprisingly the sauce was on the side that you have to dipped the wings every time you eat it. Yes What a WASTE of money!!!

I have been a Milanos customer since the beginning. Unfortunately the pizza has changed at this location vs others. Milanos is known for their thick crust and last night the pizza was way thinner and less toppings. Sad

The worst pizza I ever ordered it was supper thin when I asked for thick crust I paid $40 for pizza it was not what I was hoping to receive! the man I called at milano s pizza and said the pizza crust turned out thin and he said it went thin because of the weather! I will never order from this place again and I will never recommend this pizza to anyone! I am so insulted after being so excited for this pizza and the man completely shuts me down and says it was because of the weather!

Plenty of distancing in a large floor area. Cashier area for customers to wait allows spacing to be 6 ft apart. Shelves are fully stocked. Service is efficient.

Their Pizza(Med. Milanos Special) is easily one of the best. The only thing that is really bad is the delivery. Three blocks away. Over an hour? Never again.

Very disappointed with their delivery service. The oil to their fryer needs to be changed. Fries and fish are way too brown and tastes like old oil. Fish and chips were dry and served with no tartar sauce as advertised. *sadface*
