Excellent pizza, owner very friendly, this is a great place for pizza the garlic dip is homemade, the pizza is delicious and also not heavy at the same time. One of the only places where I can have a pizza and not have heartburn. Makes a great bacon olive and pepperoni.

0 stars TBH .just wow! I Ordered a sub with a few extra things on it, didn t get extra ANYTHING, and there was stuff on it that I specifically said NO to. I don t care how bad of a day you might have you serve the customer what they ask for & that s it. No one would call to ask for extra but end up with less then. I m honestly mindblown. (Onions were raw to boot) never again.

Me & a friend came to ottawa for something to do, drove all the way from sarnia, obviously gor hungry and decided to order from here and I have to say Ive never came across amazing wings before up until we ordered from this place, never had good wings from my area or london/hamilton/toronto! Oh and there pasta is to dieeeee for Im not even kidding! I promise you wont regret ordering from this place!!!! They also deliver at night time which was another huge bonus! I give this place a million stars

This is what a good local pizza shop looks like. I get the best service every time and I have never been disappointed with my order. I ve tried the wings and fries here as well and they were pretty good. My go to is the special with no mushrooms because I don t like them even if I m told you don t taste it. You gotta eat here! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pizza, don t be a weirdo eat meat though.

Not sure why I never ordered from here its near by. Im a convert 1st class pizza with quality ingredients. Some of the better wings aswell. Delivery is done by the business so no ridiculous Uber charges. You now have a regular customer.

Solid legacy joint with more than just pizza, lots of hearty, uncomplicated classics. No buzzwords here. Call ahead or be ready to park in their 1 chair and watch football with the familia. A bonus vibe for most though perhaps not the socially anxious.

I love Ricardos for the owners. My favourite to get was the Greek Salad, and a Pasta. Their pizza is an Ottawa Style pizza, with thick crust and a ton of cheese. I moved to another party of town, and I will miss the friendly faces of these guys! Bring cash or debit :P

Ordered delivery over the holidays, food was good, we had wings, poutine, onion rings and pizza - everything was super hot and fresh when it arrived. Pizza was very filling, heavy on the toppings. Poutine was amazing. The food came really quick too. And I can t say enough about the customer service. Super friendly, from the person on the phone to the delivery driver. Would definitely recommend.

This is what a pizza place should be like. Ordered take out as Im staying at a hotel near by for work. Gentleman on the phone said 20 mins and it was exactly 20 mins. Was treated with respect when I came to pick up my ordered and he reminded me my order included two free pop. Pizza was amazing great flavour and perfectly cooked with lots of cheese. That was my review from 10 years ago folks: You have to try the wrap n rolls. Mmmm delicious . This is my honest review from today: 24th of Jan 2023.I ordered a few WrapN Roll from this place. Still as good as they used to be. The bread they use to make the wrap is amazing. The toppings/ingredients have not changed in quality and just slightly less in quantity from 10 years ago but the prices have not changed. Back in the day my co-workers and I would schedule lunches 4 or 5 times a year with only wrapn rolls. 15 to 20 of us would order those rolls and enjoy every single bite of it. It is a must try for any person who calls themselves a foodie if you visit or live in Ottawa/Gatineau.

Best pizza in town! BUT try the wraps! Amazing sandwiches made on the pizza dough! Ive been having them since 2001 and they are still the best sandwich in Ottawa! INCREDIBLE!

One of the best places to get a pizza in Ottawa. Super gooey cheese with the right amount of crunch. All of the toppings are fresh and the staff are down-to-earth. Great memories of rushing over to Ricardos before closing to get pizza for the party! I still order Ricardos from across town because you get such good food.

This place has nasty tasting pizza. The cheese wasnt cooked threw and it tasted like it wasnt cooked right. Will never order here again.

I have been buying pizza from Ricardo s for over 55 yrs. I realize it has changed hands but not the quality. I think it s the best pizza in Ottawa. I have introduced several people to Richards and they all love it. You always get greeted with a smile and a little conversation. Great guy

Ricardos is the best pizzeria in downtown Ottawa. The pizzas are made with homemade sauce and topped with a generous amount of quality cheese. These two facts alone make Ricardos the value leader in this market. The entire menu is excellent and the prices are great. The courteous and efficient staff are pillars of the community.

Classic pizza store. I was super wasted when I arrived but it kind of reminded me of the pizza store Fry used to work at from Futurama.. the pizza might as well have been made from the hands of god that night.

I ordered fries and fried zucchini and a small Ricardo special and it was amazing and the garlic dip so good too ! They put thicc cheese on them pizza :p the fries are very thicc it s not McDonald skinny mini ! But wow it was very good ! Probably my new cheat day fav now and it s not too pricey too ! The owner was very nice my step father said their lasagna is the best he had in his life !

I think the pizza is a but expensive. I wish there was a dine in area. I dont think ill buy pizza from there again becauseitsmore expensivethan its competitors who might be better at a low price.

At first I thought the pizzas were pricey, but then I took a bite and realized they were priced correctly. Ingredients are top notch, and the pizzas are packed with loads and loads of topping. The staff is nice and kind, however this is not a place to stay, and have a dinning experience, this is a place to collect your take out and eat it elsewhere.

In my humble opinion, they have the BEST pizza in THE CITY, bar none. Ive tried other pizza places and I ALWAYS keep coming back. I discovered this gem of a small pizza place over 17 years ago. Ive begged the owner to open another restaurant in the west end, but they have been adamant about keeping it to 1 location. Well worth the drive from the west end of Ottawa. Great location and the pizza is amazing. Theres always plenty of free parking on the street when doing a pickup order. Staff is genuine. Garlic sauce is off the charts and the thin crust is the perfect balance of not too much dough but can still hold together all that cheesy goodness and toppings.

I just bought a pizza from Ricardos and it was as good as I remember when I used to buy my pizza from them back in the 80s. Delicious!!! Parking: Parked right across the street from the pizzeria, no problem.

Pizza was nice and fresh. I walked in and had to wait only 15 minutes for a small (4 slices). There were no deals so they charged extra for the dip and drinks. When I was shown the total it seemed too high for just a small pizza and pop and a dip so I asked about it and the cashier recalculated and it was much less than the original price . Anyway that was a bit shady.. but the pizza was good and convenient for a quick bite.

Terrible place. Service is some of the worst. It says on their menu 2 cans for free on $22+ food orders but at $32 we were told it wasn t possible. Then after we pay 37$ for 1 lbs of wings and a small pizza they tell us we should ve ordered a medium cause there s a special and it would ve been $28 for medium pizza and wings plus 2 cans for free. Why didn t they tell us as we ordered but only when it s too late ? Now if the food was amazing it wouldn t matter ? But it s awful. The pizza is bland, nothing tastes like anything and the sauce tastes like iron. Garlic bread is lazy and okayish. Wings were stale. Place looks dirty.

Specials cannot be combined. Paid a lot for a little. Wings were bland. Za was also bland. Garlic bread was the only decent thing unfortunately. Was different when I moved downtown 8 years ago. In shop is very lack luster. Soda all in the front area and there is no accessible way to enter into the front of the shop.

Ricardos Pizza is always an excellent choice. I have ordered from here a few times during work lunches. The Pizza is delicious and the sides are too, their garlic sauce is very tasty. I have yet to try their pizza dough wrap sandwiches that are apparently very well known but I hear they are amazing. I will need to give this a try sometime soon. I recommend Ricardos on their pizza alone, delicious all around!

Words cannot describe my love for this place! I have been coming to Ricardos for years and they have never disappointed me! Their specials are such a great deal and the food is always top notch. Ingredients taste real and so FRESH which is hard to come by these days! The owners, as well as staff, are all very kind and friendly. The best wraps anywhere. Ive gone 3 times now and its always great. They use a pizza dough instead of a regular bread. My only complaint is the menu isnt updated for the current prices. It was $10 for a wrap, not $8.75. Chicken ceaser is good and so is the Greek wrap. Will definitely be trying everything on the menu

While you might expect excellent pizza from a place thats been around as long as this one, the surprise is that everything Ive ordered from here is fantastic. We regularly get the 1/4 BBQ Chicken Platter, and its always delicious and the fries are crisp and hot. Probably helps that were only a few blocks away. The Caesar Salad is just as good, with chicken or without.

Ricardos is a hidden gem. The food is always high quality, well prepared and really delicious. Their wraps are my favourite, the naan-like bread they use for the wrap is so damned good! Definitely give them a try.

From out of town. Passed this place on a walk and had to try it. Amazing pizza, Caesar salad and the meatball sub was incredible! Cant wait to come back to Ottawa to try more of the menu.

This gem has been around for decades and its easy to see why. Unique tasty pizza sauce with just the right amount of grease and fresh toppings. All items have generous portions and very reasonable prices. Their flagship Joes Special (bacon) Wrap n Roll on a homemade flatbread led to a full lineup of wraps which are all hefty and cheap. If you are downtown you cant miss here.

Just a solid pie. A little pizza heaven if you will. I got a pretty basic pepperoni, mushroom and green pepper pizza and it was delicious and filling. These guys are funny - Labib has great customer service. If you re hungry and need a slice highly recommend stopping in at Ricardo s!
