Kid-friendliness: All about the kids... it makes me wonder if this should ask if it is parent-friendly... which it also is! Wheelchair accessibility: It is accessible through their side door.

Delicious, creative food. Fun, accepting atmosphere. Friendly, relaxed staff. You really get it all here. The menu is always changing just enough to keep you interested, but not so much that you run the risk of not being able to get what you want. Its perfect. Kid-friendliness: This place would be absolutely perfect for anyone with a 5-13 year old. Games, fun menu, etc.

My only regret is that I didnt know about this place sooner, given that its only a 20 minute walk from me.

We had the popcorn Mac and cheese at pride today it was AMAZING The only complaint is my daughter ate 3/4 of it !!

Such a fun space! The food was awesome, the people were super nice, certainly felt like I was welcomed into someone s home for dinner and dessert.

This restaurant is one of a kind, it has a very homely vibe and you can tell that theres lots of care and love put into this business. We got a homemade poptart and it was absolutely delicious, thank you to Matt and his sweet family! Theyre very generous and kind, we most definitely will be coming back here again, highly recommend!!

Awesome place

OMG! You have to try their donuts! My family and I had a tasting party tonight, and honestly, I have never had donuts like this in my life! They were so big and fresh, with such original flavors. Hats off to the chef; you set the donut tasting bar pretty freakin high! Food

My dear friend took me here for my birthday. She thought because my grand daughters call me Bam this would be cool! It was amazing!!! The food lol not cardiac friendly but beyond comforting! We went on Thursday so the donut cart was so impressive that we left with a half of dozen! The owners, a beautiful vibrant young couple took time to welcome us and share their story. Friendly and unique atmosphere! All the retro memorabilia lets you step back in time! A play area for young patrons, clean fun bathrooms and an overall 10 out of 10 experience!

Adding to my review after Fathers Day Brunch today. Everything was absolutely delicious! Portions were generous, staff was (as always) so kind, and efficient. When I first try a restaurant I order something that cant be screwed up but often is. Therefore, I ordered a $5 hamburger and was very pleased. Oh and a house staff beer. Great unusual atmosphere. I will return.

Its a hard place to not walk by on any given night and be tempted to have that chest meal early. The food is incredibly done. The donuts, melt in your mouth. The poutine and burger were return Worthy.

We had an excellent experience at BAMM s. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I m celiac and the staff is very knowledgeable and serious about contamination safety. I was so happy they offer gluten-free burger buns, l a dedicated gf fryer for their fries as well as gluten-free homemade gravy, so it was the rare occasion for me to be able to have poutine. The gf cheeseburger and poutine were absolutely delicious. Our party also had a regular double burger, an oatmeal cookie and a fritter and everything was very tasty. The donuts looked soo good. The smoked tofu was soooo good! They also have some of the best donuts in Ottawa. Definitely recommend if you re in the neighbourhood! They re also very involved in the community, which is a definite plus.

What a gem of a spot.

I walked to BAMMs because I was looking for a good burger in the neighborhood. But it wasnt their food reviews that brought me to them, there are more than a few decent burger places around. I checked their website and immediately fell in love with their community vibe and they were even more lovely in person. I had the BAMM burger and it was delicious and their brined in-house fries are also amazing. Theyd be pretty spectacular as a poutine, I imagine (on the to-try list). I had a good conversation with one of the owners (Ashley) and they were warm and welcoming, darting between the kitchen to make food and the dining room to help customers. She seemed to know everyone who walked in by name. Go to BAMMs, you need this in your life. The world needs more BAMMs.

An actual hidden gem, come experience this place while it stays that way, which it probably wont for long. Only open during the week for now, come in the morning and pick up what I have determined are the best donuts in Ottawa. The Apple fritters (choice of regular or vegan) are the perfect sweetness, slightly crunchy on the outside and include real pieces of apple. The sour cream old fashioned donut rocked my world.

I was at BAMMs Snack Shack yesterday evening and had the closest thing to a religious experience that I have had since the first time I swore in front of my mom without getting in trouble. I came here for a private event and was directed towards what I was told was a popcorn doughnut. This is not just a popcorn doughnut. This is a miracle. I can see out of my left eye again. All of my childhood dogs came back to life. When no one is looking, I can fly, like just a little bit. More of a hover. My father called me the moment I took a bite and said he was proud of me. Hes been dead 9 years. Not really, dont get mad at this, Dad, its called flavour text, Im adding aahm-bee-awwwnce *tasteful hand gestures* You there! Stop reading this and go to BAMMs. You are wasting precious doughnut slamming time and I for one will not stand for it.

The best chicken burger in the city hands down, the nuggets are a special that s sometimes available but they re just as amazing and their doughnuts are to die for very generous portions and super friendly staff

Its such a relief to be somewhere that feels like a warm livingroom, eating food that doesnt taste 3D printed. I think about their croissant breakfast sandwich at least once a week. Had fries, sandwich, and drink. Came to $17 with tip. Unbeatable pricing.

Best burger in the city and I have tried them all. Go get one before you have to wait in line! Five Guys was my go-to but they have been bumped.

Exceptional food and service! A great place to bring the kids, there s a cozy tv/arcade room in the back to keep the little ones busy while you enjoy the HOMEMADE Nanaimo bar or the popcorn Mac and cheese! I m sure this place will race to the top of the charts for a local favourite!

Finally, a spot in the hood where you can get a great burger! Killer baked goods to satisfy that sweet tooth, too. Super-awesome, family friendly atmosphere in a retro gaming den-themed space with plenty of seating.

Simply put I have no negatives. Especially considering they just opened! The Bamm burger and veggie burger were spot on, the homemade beef patties especially hit the spot. Also should mention the pay it forward program and the game room at the back. (The one machiene literally has thousands of games) Ashley at the front of the house is warm, and welcoming all the while multitasking, while Matt never stops in the kitchen. Oh and I cant forget how clean the place was, even the flamingo bathrooms! Will return...often. Friendly service and amazing burger

A destination any city would love to have! but they are jealous because they are ours! The BAMM Fam is a beautiful addition with Matt and his GOOFY ideas spewing from his brain to Ashley and her nurturing aura and tell-it-like-it-is attitude. Juicy Burgers FOR ALL. Oh and the Dessert Bar! Get them before they are Sold out! Will probably be there on a weekly basis and enjoy every second of it.

Homestyle, family friendly atmosphere with great service and even better food. The Caesar salads dressing had a bit of zip to it and was excellent (the grilled cheese croutons were a nice touch). The burger was very good; as was the mac & cheese. In addition, it wasnt expensive. We will definitely return. Kid-friendliness: Play area for kids at the back of the restaurant.

I met the team at the Comic art event held at Urban Art where they were selling the famous Popcorn Mac n Cheese - was really very tasty, and for a food truck atmosphere a phenomenal deal! My wife and I shared one portion and both so happy. I liked chef explaining to me how he creates the flavor and roux for the creamy cheese. The portion was heated up individually and served as if made especially for me. Really very impressed. The only thing I might consider, a spoon rather than a fork, so I can scrape up all that creamy cheesy goodness! Vegetarian options: Mac n Cheese is vegetarian by default!

We came late in the afternoon and the place was hopping! The burgers we ordered came at lightning speed and WOW. Best burgers in town. Topped it off with a doughnut that knocked all other pretenders out of the running. Great potential event space in the back too! Kid-friendliness: This place would be a fantastic place to take kids! My Daughter mentioned this place and how she wanted to try it now bare in mind she is 9 so nothing good could come out of that, however to shocking suprise it was amazing, I had a Bammm burger and it was simply amazing and so juicy, my daughter had a poutine and it was wonderfully made with alot of cheese and the fries were amazing on their own . I can t wait to come back and try some more. JUICY JUICY JUICY!!!! I am currently hunting down Ottawa s Best Burger and this one, so far, is miles ahead of the rest. Ground in-house, perfect American Cheese slice, lettuce, onions and BAMM sauce on the top AND bottom I mean ..just look at it! And they just so happen to be the coolest, friendliest family ever! Great job guys Will be back for sure with all my friends and family.

This place is amazing for both adults and kids!! Such an awesome and peaceful atmosphere, and Ashley and Matt are so friendly and nice. Unlike any other place, theyre willing to entertain making you something thats not on the menu! The food is super delicious and authentically made with care and passion. BAMMS is very much reminiscent of the old-school Mom n Pop shops that were always incredible but, sadly, seldom found nowadays. If youre ever in the area, you HAVE to stop by! Guaranteed, you wont regret it!

Nice family concept. Almost like we entered their family house, all their kids run in and out of the kitchen. The service was very nice however when it comes to the food, I only tried their burger and NO I am sorry but it s one of the worst I ve had you can smell/ taste the very cheap ingredients. The back room (arcade) stinks urine. Please do something about this cute business

Creative and Delicious - BAMM s is a perfect and well-needed addition to the neighbourhood. Amazing meals, and phenomenal baked goods made in house. Fun, family friendly and welcoming to all. I ve been quite a few times now, and with rotating specials on top of a super solid core menu, its easy to find something new and delicious or stick with a classic favourite like the homemade burgers. Matt + Ashley are onto something special here. Dietary restrictions: Very conscious of allergies and dietary requirements - I personally have a severe nut allergy and it has always been handled with care and understanding. Kid-friendliness: A great spot for families with kids, featuring a hangout area in the back with tables for arts + crafts, and an arcade machine.

First visit. Hamburger (a combination of beef and beef brisket) cooked with fresh condiments to order. Fries cooked to crispy as requested by my lady friend (one serving in a bowl served us both). Good selection of beverages: with or alcohol free, carbonated, coffee and tea. Vegan options. Delicious home made soup of the day. Family owned and operated. Festive decor. Highly recommended.

My husband I stumbled upon this gem when we were working close by. I have had many hot dogs around town and it is quite possible to screw them up however I was not let down with theirs. Cooked perfectly. I also had the turkey soup which was delicious and a bite of my husbands burger. There was no way we were leaving without a massive donut that was baked earlier that day. It was the best donut I have ever had. Melted in my mouth. Highly recommend this place. Bamm.

Muffins and doughnuts are deliciously satisfying. LOVE that they have a Pay it Forward board, and bowls of fruits! Poutine was a hit with one of my children (the parmesan topping can be optional, as my other prefers traditional flavours). We got a hot dog from these guys in the summer when they had a mobile truck at a local market. Really good hot dog. Very friendly people. Then we went into the restaurant for a burger and it was a great, great burger with a great side of fresh-cut fries. I am going back with a bunch of guys.
