Egg Benny is pretty good! Also, the server makes me comfortable It may be a personal preference, but it will suit the taste of Koreans! It s not salty!

My burger and my wifes club sandwich were mediocre at best, though a friends pork chop looked good. They were having problems with their taps, so the draft IPA was unavailable. And it looked like the server was on her own. She did her best but seemed somewhat overwhelmed. Hopefully, just an off night for the place.

I had the fish and chips and the portion was a bit big for me but it was tasty. The booth seats are weirdly low and I couldn t really reach my plate comfortably. Overall not bad experience but nothing special

It was okay the breakfast, I shouldnt have went on a weekday instead of a weekend cause they have weekends brunch menu. Ill redeem after my 2nd return but still good enough :P

Amazing service. I called one day and the man who answered was kind and enthusiastic. The day I came in, our waitress gave us great service and she was quick and very friendly. Don t forget about the food though it was quick, delicious, and the plating was great! We were surprised it met all our expectations for the price, including the massive portions. Definitely will be coming back and it s worth trying here!

Always good and we go there in a small group twice a week after a race, along the canal.

This is a favourite place that is really close to our place and always a safe bet for our brunch. It is generally not too busy but it does happen on occasion. Food is always very tasty and the waitresses are super cool, every single one of them. We generally talk about going there for happy hour but have yet to try it because we end up going elsewhere, but this is certainly a nice place to visit when you are out and about in downtown Ottawa.

This place makes amazing chicken wings. I havent tried the other meals, but based on them and the kimchi pickles I can say anything you get will be good. The staff is friendly, efficient, and attentive. I recommend checking it out if you can, especially with the patio open.

This is an excellent restaurant. I came here for breakfast and had the breakfast poutine. It was phenomenal. Parking: There is a parking lot for the hotel this restaurant is located in.

i think this has to be one of the best restaurants in Ottawa that has yet to bloom to mainstream prices. The quality of the food pars that of riviera and for half the price.

Patio is great. Inside looks a bit dated but dont let that stop you, the food here is delicious, presented nicely and well priced. I stayed at Embassy suites where this restaurant is located and I would definitely come back here next time I am in Ottawa even if I am not staying at the hotel Food

Ottawa local here. I gotta say, I have been to this restaurant maybe 10-15 times and each time it has been an absolute pleasure. Coopers is easily my #1 low key pub-style restaurant recommendation in all of Ottawa. Everything on the menu is absolute quality and I enjoy trying new dishes because I know whatever it is that its going to be fantastic. Highly recommend.

This was the most surprising meal/lunch of 2023. I really wasnt expecting much from a hotel pub, but holy smokes it was good. The pork schnitzel sandwich was objectively perfect, the beer was excellent, and the price was great value for the location. Ill be back for sure.

This is a hidden gem. Wish we found it sooner. We have tried a lot of the menu already and it has not been disappointing not once so far! The chef does a great job of putting things together and cooking it to perfect. Will always be a spot we come to when back in the City. Breakfast especially!!!!!

The service at the restaurant was very bad. We arrived for breakfast on July 23 I appreciate the restaurant was short staffed but the service was awful and the wait staff extremely rude. The waitress I encountered should definitely not be in the service Industy, she was short, dismissive and seem aggravated we were there. I would not reccomend coopers creative kitchen in Ottawa!

Beautiful patio, good food!

Indoors there was a pleasant eating area and bar. We are outside on a patio. It was a streetside patio and quite comfortable. The services was great. Some food items were overcooked. All-in-all, we enjoyed our meal and the experience. Pricing was also reasonable.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. In Ottawa to drop our daughter off for university and so happened we stayed at the embassy and this restaurant is below it. If your in downtown Ottawa this is the place to eat. Best fish and chips Ive had....... hands down

We visited the restaurant on a Friday evening. It was a bit wet outside, and we were seated inside, although we would have preferred sitting outside. The service was prompt, but cannot say I enjoyed out stay. The fish and chips were good, a bit too battery and the fries were over cooked but acceptable. We also ordered chicken wings. The wings came with one type of sauce. I dont think the waiter asked us which sauce we wanted, so they just put some buffalo on it. His words. For 17$ the wings did not include fries. They were small and way over cooked. We also tried a pasta dish, which was clearly microwaved topped with a ton of cheese. It was unetable. Waiter looked annoyed with our questions, and was very direct, and cut us short a few times. We stayed at the hotel above it, so it was convenient but would definately not return. The patio looked great though.

When you have a restaurant attached to a hotel in the core of downtown, you expect it to be pricey. Very pricey. But we were in for a surprise. We were in Ottawa to drop our daughter off to University. Tired from a long drive from Mississauga and loading and unloading, we wanted to a quiet dinner, some good beer before our sleep Coopers has a great patio which was full. Forcing us to take a table indoors. And we were glad, for minutes later we had a huge downpour that had all the patio patrons scurrying in. There was only one server catering to the entire restaurant so the wait was a bit. The menu was limited but with some good choices. The prices were not as outrageous as we had imagined it would be. Despite a single server he did a great job in attending to everyone. The beer on tap was a tad limited. But when the beer and food came, it was good. Decent portion sizes, good taste to tickle your buds and a good ambience to eat in. All in all it was a memorable dinner and we will definitely go here again at one of our future visits

This restaurant is next to the Embassy hotel and is a good alternative for a quiet dinner. The endive salad with salmon is good, as are the fish and chips. The service is good and the place is pleasant.

Very friendly staff, delicious food and bevies. Take the time to visit and get to know Eric, he is awesome.

food was good, service was excellent. Kirk was awesome. Only knock, Hotel breakfast prices... a little high, you can walk 2 blocks and get the same meal for a few bucks cheaper.

Lunch on the terrace in November! Good traditional lunch at a reasonable price.

A great little place I didnt expect to find in the hotel. Food is consistently delicious, a good mix of craft beer on tap and in cans.

I am not a drinker but the Cobbs salad was to die for...the butternut squash soup was very flavourful..i would go back..my wife had the fish and chips and enjoy them as well....

The food is ok, but the service is friendly.

Excellent food excellent service quality price

Sitting outside on the patio yesterday was a bit chilly on the legs, but their tabletop firepits definitely helped keep us warm. Good deals on house wine (6$ for a 5oz glass of red, white or rose), 5$ bourbon (wild turkey) and I quite enjoyed the deep fried calamari.

This is a hidden little gem . Alway tasty food. Very reasonable prices. Fries are to die for. Fireplace tables are the real feature. They give you a warm blanket to cuddle under.

Coopers is a great place to relax, meet up with friends, enjoy some good food and have a few drinks. The staff and management are very friendly and make you feel right at home... theyre all about the customer. Coopers is my new favorite spot in Ottawa!

It was such a treat to actually sit an an outdoor patio after so many months of isolation . We have always enjoyed Coopers and this visit was no exception.....food and service were both excellent.

Coopers is a fantastic place. Their food is very delicious and their beer selection has everything you need. Their patio is big and siding on quiet street. The pub is very comfortable with updated decor and it is very clean. You should check this place out.

I had a great time at this place, its small but its great. Nice staff, cozy atmosphere. Definitely a place to just sit back and chill with some friends. I didnt try the food, but next time I will. Thank you for having us, it was wonderful.

The food and the company were great, will visit again if Im ever near city hall.

The place had an okay atmosphere, lounge style, relaxed casual. Food was relatively small portions, interesting flavors in the chicken and waffles. Pretty diverse beer selection. Fortunately they dont have a million TVs which is a good thing. Im not local to the Ottawa area, wouldnt necessarily visit this location again, but that is mostly due to my own personal taste. Drinks only next time, maybe! Would have tried the outdoor patio, was heated and had blankets, but maybe that is for the more brave if heart.

This five star review is in no small part due to Kevin, our server. We were really made to feel welcome and that our time there mattered to the staff. During times like these its important to feel a sense of community and Kevin did just that for all of us. Coopers will definitely be a go-to spot for outings to come. Prices are astronomical. Lunch for one adult and two children was $133. Food was fine but not worth the price. Will not go back.

Unbelievable. Dont sleep on this place. Perfect cozy vibe to start. The food is incredible - portion size is perfect but youll rue the fact its finite. I cant stress it enough. If you dont give this place a try, youre an idiot jerkface poopoohead.

I have a hard time describing it without using the F word: it was Friggin amazing. Nice location, in the middle of the city but felt more like out of the city lime light. The menu as well as what it bought was super delish and the wait staff far beyond excellent. I will definitely make this one of my regular places to frequent.

Excellent! Great food. We were lucky enough to be there for BBQ night. The beef and chicken burgers were hot, juicy, well dressed and the roll topped it off perfectly. Salad was fresh. Chips are homemade, so good. The slaw was a nice compliment. Try the nachos, too. They dont skimp on toppings! Friendly service, outdoor seating, quiet location all add up to a great experience. .

Great patio. Good selection of craft beer. Service was very good, with the server even doing a rendition of an AC/DC tune with our children. If you are looking for a quieter spot off of Elgin, we recommend Cooper Gastropub.

Was not great. We had to go to the servers ourselves to get any service. At one point the server took the menu from our table before someone had ordered food and gave it to another table. Maybe it was an off day it did not appear too busy. I might give it another try in a few months and update the review.

Had a baby shower here. Food was good and timely. Drink specials are very good.

This is an ideal location to host any type of event. Plenty of parking options (some are even FREE!), which is a perk for any downtown spot. The restaurant has a great atmosphere inside, and a spacious patio for the warmer months. Wide selection of beers and food. Special thanks to Kevin, the manager, and Kevin the server for their hospitality and for being so accommodating to mine and my guests needs during my event. Definitely recommended!

This was a great little find. It is very small and just a few staff but luckily our 2 visits were all at quiet times. The staff were professional. The girl who served us dinner was really sweet and friendly. The menu is limited but in addition to regular pub fare there were A FEW SURPRISING CREATIVE DISHES as well. The Mac and Cheese had such flair... Made witha delicious mix of sharp cheddar, broccoli and mushrooms, and topped with crispy corn flakes and a dollop of this amazing green tomato jam which tied it all together with a sweet and savory party in my mouth! The French toast, I remembered to snap pics of. HANDS DOWN THE BEST IVE EVER HAD. See the pics for the description on the menu. If you are a foodie, you will love this place. Prices reasonable for the quality of the food.

Great service and good food

I would not recommend this place. The asian waitress here is the worst waitress I have ever seen in my whole life.The coleslaw was 2 days old. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress, she said oh sorry about that and did nothing about it. Stay away.

Went for lunch. Food was ok. Fish and chips tastes good, but was fish nuggets (not a filet) Wine list was standard, and the atmosphere was nice.

The food is not good quality and the menu is somewhat limited. I was surprised to not get a drink menu of any kind when sitting down and receiving the food menu.

very disappointed. Service was terrible, although it wasnt busy had to wait almost 20 min to order a coffee and 3 other beverages. Took another 15 min to get 2 of them and had to wait another 10 for the others to be served. Four us us ordered lunch and only two orders were served, two of us finished eating and still didnt get the other two orders. Finally gave up and cancelled the undelivered food. Not likely to ever go back.

Had a lunch meeting here because I walk past it every day. Its more of a drinking tavern. Food was fairly low quality. Menu limited to pub fare.
