We were treated as if we were the most important customers in the restaurant both times that we visited. Outstanding world class level of service. Rashid and the rest of his team are as genuine as they come. There is no doubt that we will return on our next visit.
The Best breakfast/brunch in Ottawa. You can choose between a list or a buffet. We chose the buffet and couldn't been happier. A great selection of warm, cold, healthy and not-so-healthy choices. Everything tasted great. Strongly recommend!
Large windows with lovely panoramic views of the streets. Coffee came so quickly and it was a large pot. Good coffee and I badly needed it. Service with Elliot was top notch and fuss free. Had a eat well yogurt bowl which was delicious. Lots of single dining patrons which made me feel more comfortable while travelling for business. No need for reservation as it was 7am on a weekday (had one but restaurant was not busy yet)
A Sunday brunch at Daly's was by far the most wonderful experience we ever had in Ottawa. Shoutout to the Manager Michael, and Andrea, they really went out of their way to ensure we had the greatest brunch when we needed the most, top of the notch customer service even among all the Bonvoy chain. My kid had a really rough morning at a tournament just across the street but the carness and kindness we received at Daly's from Michael and Andrea really made our day. They were incredibly caring, companionate, as well as knowledgeable about their menu. Reasonable price, soothing ambiance comfortable seats and settings, very conveniently located in heart of Ottawa. We know for sure where to stay and eat for the rest of our trips to Ottawa. Michael and Andrea, you have no idea what an amazing impact this was to my young children, the unrolling of the brilliance of great people is a major part of which made a memorable childhood. Sincere appreciation from the bottom of my heart and I hope yourselves are treated the same way wherever you go ! By the way, we missed the buffet breakfast so Michael recommended A la carte menu which turned out to be wonderful, the fruits on the waffle was fresh, decent coffee, the food alone deserves 5 star already !
This cozy coffee shop is perfect for both brunch and breakfast. You've got the choice of picking from a menu or diving into a buffet. The buffet includes a mix of exotic and local fruits, various breads ready for toasting, waffles, pancakes, yogurts, muesli and more. Plus, there's a cool spot where you can customize your own omelet. While it's not huge, the variety is pretty decent. On the menu side, you'll find both sweet and savory dishes. You can tell the ingredients are very fresh and of good quality. And for coffees, they offer plant-based milk alternatives, which is great. It would be even better if they could expand their vegan options a bit more.
Really great breakfast! Our server was fantastic. Some nice Ottawa views as well from the window seats! Lots of parking (for a fee) in the Rideau Centre/Westin parking.
I've had several business breakfasts here over the years. The amount of options and quality of food and service are excellent. There is an omelette station and something for everyone. However, the price is somewhat on the steeper side for buffet breakfasts. Still I would recommend it!
Had breakfast here with family, for the first time while visiting Ottawa. The service was great, from the greeters to the servers. We were asked several times if we had everything we needed and topped up on orange juice also. I truly appreciate the care and attention received during our dining experience. As for our meal, the presentation was there and the taste was even better. The menu has a variety of options, gluten free and vegetarian too. I would highly recommend this location to anyone visiting, staying in Ottawa or even locals. It will hopefully not be my last time there. Thanks!
Visited for Sunday brunch. Brunch begins with a mimosas which is excellent, followed by a charcuterie board, which is very well balanced. My eggs were overcooked but they replaced them right away and the food was great.
we arrived at 11:30 and they didnt let us in. I wont come back
21$+ tip+taxes for 4 little pieces of mediocre waffles. Seriously ?
Great breakfast while you re staying at the hotel!
Went to the restaurant during our vacation at the Westin. Kelly-Ann was so nice to us. Thank you.
We really liked our experience! Family-kid friendly, food is fresh, the buffet is 34$ per person and free under 3 yrs old.
The Christmas brunch here was amazing. Great quality and variety of food. The coffee was one of the best I ever had. The sushi bar and seafood was amazing. Gorgeous and tasty desserts too. The staff was super friendly which was the icing on the cake. It was a happy and festive vibe!
Omg I loved this place. We came for the special new years brunch. Fantastic service, amazing diverse selection of foods. Everything was yummy. (My photo has a mix of breakfast and lunch foods). Am a lifelong customer now!
Great selection of food and always have a good time with a pleasant view! Bit on the pricier side
Really love the feel of this restaurant - perfect for breakfast. Food was really good (avocado toast) and service was very nice.
Quiet, nice place, delicious breakfast and food, clea and good service.
Stopped in for breakfast while attending an event at the Shaw Centre. Food was pretty standard fare but delicious and the staff were fantastic. Also the coffee shop is the perfect place to sneak a coffee accessible form Rideau centre without the hustle and bustle of the mall.
We went for a family breakfast to Dalys for my birthday. Everything was perfect at this restaurant - view, quality of food, service... Kelly-Ann was amazing, she made us all feel special and cosy like at home.
Whether youre staying at the hotel, or live in Ottawa, or just in Ottawa for the day, Dalys is quite frankly the best breakfast in Ottawa. Hot and GOOD coffee, hot and GOOD food served on warm plates, all wrapped up in service thats second to none in a welcoming, soothing ambience. A beautiful experience time and again.
All the dishes and dishes are made with love, it s magical
Went there for the breakfast buffet today. Had a great experience. The food was really good for a hotel buffet. Lots of variety, and the omelet station did exactly what I wanted. There was even a nice little cheese board. When we had an issue our server, Rashid, took care of it immediately and made sure we had a very pleasant experience. This was our first time there, and we were scoping it out for a family experience. We are definitely taking the family back there.
Amazing visit this weekend to Dalys. We go a few times a year because we love the brunch so much but this time was for a birthday celebration. The staff knew ahead of time but they went above and beyond, decorating the seating area and bringing out a special dessert was all a surprise! Most of the staff came by the table to wish a happy birthday. They were all so friendly and our server Shara was incredible. Highly recommend the breakfast brunch always but regardless of why you go the service is top notch and youll definitely have a fantastic experience!
Excellent restaurant
Nice views. Food was expensive though. Buffet table had plenty of options to fill your belly. Staff very friendly as well
Had the smoked salmon bagel which was delicious. Huge portion size. Staff was kind and friendly. Forgot to get her name but she was very courteous and kind. Great atmosphere.
Great location with view of the canal. Buffet menu. Eggs Benedict.
This location serves Starbucks coffee. The two young ladies that are working in the morning are handling a workload like they probably have never seen before because of all the firefighters. Luckily they made some improvements over the few days to get the coffee out faster. They are definitely working hard. Its good to see a good team making everybody happy with their morning coffee. Prices are fair. The pretzel sandwich breakfast is very good. Stop by give them a try. Dont forget to tip your server
Too bad because Expeditious!!!!
Great food and service
We had a fantastic breakfast, very fresh and tasty. Coffee was great and service was quick and friendly
Decent breakfast but pricey.
Shoutout to Andrea. She is such an amazing person! Absolutely wonderful! Great food and even better service. Andrea was very knowledgeable about the menu and service - she provided such wise advice as it was our first visit. Thank you!!!! I would like to say great experience!
Excellent steak and exceptional service
This breakfast restaurant, located in the Westin Hotel was amazing. I had their breakfast buffet, and they had an expansive selection of hot and cold breakfast food, including pancakes, waffles, sausages, eggs, deli meats, fresh fruit and more. The buffet is expensive, but you get your moneys worth. Coffee, tea and a variety of juices are included. They even have a healthy carrot, orange, ginger and mango juice blend. The servers are very attentive, and so are the chefs who interact with customers at the buffet. Vegetarian options: The restaurant has vegetarian options as well as meat options. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is fully accessible, and we had a wheelchair user in our group at the restaurant.
Wonderful friendly staff. A great experience especially when compared to the rude attitude and service downstairs at the shore club.
Great server but simple pot coffee for 2 people, standard 2 egg breakfast and some oatmeal. $53 not including tip. Grossly overpriced for standard food which you can find elsewhere for a lot less.
Okay spot of breakfast. Nothing too amazing, but good selection of fruits and small stuff. But service was good, so I gotta give the extra star for that.
Good staff, fresh food....Good brunch selection
Very tasteful restaurant.
Very tasty and varied dishes
Highly recommended for breakfast or brunch, the staff is super nice and food is excellent. Great variety to choose from.
Very good
3 day old bagels and other breads dry....in a tray of eggs benny several cooked hard and others with broken yolks but simply covered in extra hollandaise...staff that simply dont care...very mediocre meat assortment...2 kinds of sausage one overcooked the other off Now for the positive..really good coffee...excellent smoothies...fresh cheeses but there could be some thought so as to get a wider variety...fruit was fresh...smoked salmon had all appropriate complements...the overnight oats are amazing Overall it is vastly overpriced but it is convenient if you are foolish enough to stay at the Westin
Fantastic service and food.
Good but expensive
Very generic cafeteria style food. Service was good but not worth the pricetag.
Not that great service, undercooked sausages and terrible stale coffee. Too Expensive for poor quality.
Good food options - delicious cheese platter, big servings of roast beef, and a cold salad bar. Good options for classic breakfast as well as other interesting dishes. Buffet of nice dessert options as well (tiramisu, crème brûle) which were actually pretty delicious for being buffet style.
Salads were mediocre at best. Disappointed not the Daily s I remember. Service was good.
The food is pretty average, service is good but prices are ridiculous.
Once the correction was made that our breakfast was included with our room, it was amazing. If they dont have it, they will make it! But I imagine that doesnt happen very often. They have everything you could possibly want for breakfast including good service. While it is an all you can eat buffet, the choices are vast and would satisfy any palate. And the piece de resistance...their coffee is good!! They even leave a carafe at your table. The only thing I could think of that would make this better is if they had a waffle maker to make your own. They were steamline soggy and that was my partners only complaint. Far superior to the Executive Lounge breakfast at the Hilton Lac Leamy.
Nice atmosphere, but the breakfast food was pretty bad. It was more than $30 per person for breakfast buffet but food was pretty bad and couldnt even eat the food. The pancakes and waffles were the worst part. And the eggs Benedict were really bad. Even aunt Jamaima is way better. Save your money and dont go here. No good foods to fill up on. Bacon wasnt even good.
What ever happened to the chocolate fountain?
Food was average, prices were insane. Charged me 5$ for coffee, but left a small pot so that was fair, and 6$ for a tiny glass of orange juice. I had the arugula omelette with the salad and it was okay, was hoping for more avocado in the salad though. I would not get breakfast here again, it ended up being just shy of 50$.
The hotel gave us two tickets for the breakfast, yes 30 bucks a person normally. But they had everything you can imagine there, with no one hovering above you to make sure you dont take too much bacon. Im going there for only special occasions but I would say its the best breakfast in the city. We were just married and when the restaurant found out, they came out with a special plate for us with cake and chocolate drizzle.
I booked here for a celebration with 50 people. The restaurant did a fabulous job of looking after us and providing a space where we were close together. The selection on the buffet was excellent, with multiple breakfast and lunch options. The salads were delicious and fresh, and the desserts were decadent. The staff were helpful and attentive without being intrusive. The cost was $48 including taxes and gratuity, which is reasonable for special events. Top of my list for future events.
We went for the brunch on a Sunday. Nice variety of food, good service, but a bit pricey.
We went for lunch and to my surprise the buffet was great with very good choices.
Service was brutal, cold, inattentive, and exorbitant prices to finish it all off. I expected much better from the Westin.
