Eggspectation - Kanata in Ottawa

This place is a complete disaster when it comes to management, regardless of the quality of their food. Drivers are forced to wait up to 30 minutes just to pick up orders, which is highly unprofessional and disrespectful to their time. The establishment shows no regard for the rights of drivers or the challenges they face trying to earn a living. They seem only concerned with their own profits, while completely ignoring the struggles and time constraints of delivery drivers. It s unfair and unacceptable. This kind of mismanagement reflects poorly on the business and leaves a terrible impression.

Great place, clean, food was amazing. Unfortunately there was a lack of professionalism and good service. The girl that served Us didn t know menu options and prices, then she brought me wrong order. Also, took her more than 15 minutes to bring is a bill chatting with her co-worker as she forgot to finalize the order. I was late to work because all of this.

We had a wonderful brunch at Expectation on our mommies and daughters day. Celine, our waitress, was exceptional! She was incredibly attentive, prompt, and ensured we had everything we needed. Her friendly demeanor and professionalism made our experience even more enjoyable. Thank you, Celine, for making our special day so delightful!

It s a topical breakfast but unfortunately it s expensive to spend 80$ in the morning to eat scrambled eggs

Our first time at Eggspectation. Alex was awesome and helped us have a great experience. Tasty food. Fantastic atmosphere.

Visited on the Grand opening morning. Was quite busy but we didnt have to wait for a table. The restaurant itself was lovely with nice decor. Service was friendly and quick. The food itself was a little underwhelming, there wasnt anything very unique about the menu. Would still visit again to give it another shot.

Rich & decadent, a flood of subtle and savoury and sweet flavours and cuisine! Good prices and even better service! This is the place to go - I hesitate to say it because Im greedy and want to keep this hidden gem all to myself! If I could give 6 stars I would!

The food was amazing .. but the staff was even better !!! Our servers salyna, Matt, Amy, DJ, Alex, on the floor and in the kitchen Raj, Chris, Nitin, Anastasia and Mohammad - big thanks to everyone for contributing to making our dining experience amazing !! The food was impeccable - definitely our new favourite- the energy in the restaurant is amazing - everyone was smiling and it seemed everyone was happy to be at work !! Loved the vibe and food !! A 100/10 !!

We just ordered nearly $120 for breakfast and only received a little over half my order. Phone does not work when I try to call.

I cannot rate anything because we only sat there waiting for over 10 mins being ignored. We left and went to Coras where we were served instantly. Thank you Cora for great service, food and atmosphere!

To spend $40 on breakfast for one person, the quantity is so low. I definitely didn t get two eggs either.

This restaurant s Kanata s location is so contrary to the downtown location . Very expensive and every thing is an up-charge. $14 for 4 regular coffee even though we had 4 entrees. $6.50 for salad and gluten free bread instead of fries and regular bread. Half a chicken breast in an entree club sandwich order - $23 An absolute rip-off for food that is not even gourmet

I can t say enough good things about Eggspectation Kanata! From the moment I walked in, the bright, happy atmosphere instantly put me in a great mood. It s the kind of place where you feel welcome right away. The menu is thoughtfully crafted, and everything I tried was fresh and bursting with flavor. The staff were so warm and attentive, making the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable. This has quickly become one of my go-to spots for an amazing brunch. I m already planning my next visit!

Ordered fruits on the side with pancakes. They are charging 9 dollars for just some berries in a small bowl.

1st time, service was good, food was pricey

Service was terribly slow, we waited for 15 minutes just to try to get coffee, and had to ask twice for a server to take our order. French toast was cold. Regular toast is cold and the slices are unbelievably small. You get 1 piece of toast with your order, and a second slice of toast will set you back another $3. Wont be back. Overpriced for what you get.

Brand new in Kanata! Bright and clean. Nice décor. Reliably tasty menu, good prices, generous portions. Friendly staff, proactive coffee refills .

Great atmosphere and good/friendly service. We ordered the staple eggs and bacon, but the bacon was on the cold side (didnt seem like it was fired recently). Pancakes were very good and maple syrup was provided :). Service gave ketchup that wasnt opened, and they hadnt asked if we wanted coffee (but we did order mimosas - I wouldnt order the black current mimosas again). Rather on the expensive side. Convenient location but may or may not return.

First off, it s important to note that this location is nothing like the one downtown. That one has a largely egg-focused menu, as you might expect, and warm, charming, quiet ambiance. This place has blaring music and looks like Satan s Apple Store. Not necessarily a problem, just not what you might expect. Ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich on artisanal brioche bun . The sandwich arrived on a bun with charred grill lines and otherwise completely frozen solid. Literally rock hard frozen. I can t imagine how this made it out of the kitchen. The server offered a coupon for 10% off a future visit, which I declined. The meal was not comped or discounted in any way.

New amazing breakfast option in Kanata - great atmosphere, not busy amazing staff and service, comparing it to our & simple I may have wished for bigger portions but other than that it was great - definitely going back again!!

We have been here the last three weekends and are so glad to have a nice brunch spot nearby! Eddie and Cecilia took great care of us, and the food is delicious every time.

I regularly take a bus past this location & was wondering when they were opening and found out it was this week! Me and 2 other co-workers came for some breakfast before work & everything was amazing. Food & service are great.

As a frequent customer of Eggspectations downtown Ottawa location, I was eager to visit their new spot in Kanata. Im happy to say that this new location exceeded my eggspectations . The parking area is spacious, making it easy to access, and the ambiance inside is clean and well-organized, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The food, as always, was beyond fantastic, and I was pleasantly surprised by the new menu offerings. I decided to try the Smoked Salmon Benedict, and it did not disappoint. The combination of the lemon cream cheese and the croissant was simply divine, adding a fresh twist to a classic dish. Eggspectation in Kanata is definitely a place to add to your list for Sunday brunch in Ottawa. Whether youre a regular or a first-time visitor, youre in for a treat! :)

I had the duck confi poutine, and my wife had the duck confi eggs Beni. We both loved our dishes. Blended so well with the mushrooms and caramelized onions. We highly recommend

Such a gorgeous spot! The staff were welcoming and friendly, and my server was kind when I asked for my eggs to be cooked a little longer (just my personal preference)! The food was also really tasty.

Went there with the family and everything was amazing, great food and friendly staff, kids liked it so much they were making plans for what they would eat the next time:) Dietary restrictions: One of the family members is lactose intolerant and there were no issues modifying things to suit. Kid-friendliness: The fancy juicer on the counter had the kids mesmerized with how it worked and even more so when they tasted what came out of it
