I had amazing service when going to pick up my shake! I was met with Mercedes who was very sweet and helpful. I didn t know exactly what I wanted but she guided me through the menu and even recommended some amazing options! Will gladly come again because of her. 10/10!!! :)

Please speed up your shakes! i was very involved at veginning in being here but now twice waiting 25 min for a basic shake is ludicrous! We do not know how this can gappen since God is in charge!@@

Great milkshakes, great flavours and great atmosphere! Love that you get to keep the mason jars that the milkshakes are served in. The prices are fair and they also have non-dairy options on their menu.

I highly recommend the Strawberry Haze milkshake, also you get to keep the jars or you can return for $0.50 off your next shake

Have stopped in at this location for the third time and have not been served. The first time we came was 10:40pm and both other times were 10:45pm. I understand that staff need to clean up at the end of the night but if you are advised that you are open until 11pm then you should be able to serve your customers. Unfortunately won t be trying to come back to this location for a late night snack again. Disappointed to say the least.

What a delightful place. We shared a milk shake and Im glad we did. There was enough for two. And it was delicious. I highly recommend. Totally worth it. They had bottles of water. We can keep the containers and reuse them if we want to. They even offer complimentary lids to go with it.

Really nice discovery. Cute place. Friendly staff. Outside the busier streets of the Byward Market, but definitely worth the short walk. There are so many amazing milshakes to choose from with milk and topping options. Can be a little expensive for milkshakes, but they are real treats for the amount of food you get (the Lets Get Crazy options are complete desserts); definitely worth the extra bucks. I will go back most certainly.

Really nice tasting milkshakes. We took pina-colada and mango. Both tasted great. The interior looks pretty cheap and not very clean. But we did not stay inside, so it didnt really matter to us.

Great shakes with 4-6 inches of toppings towering over your take home glass. Street parking all around, but limited spaces. Paid lot across the street. Wheelchair accessibility: Single stair to get in the front door, so not wheelchair friendly.

They have tons of vegan options ! Everything looked way too sweet but I ended up trying the coffee milkshake with vegan wipped cream and it was delicious. We ordered two vegan milkshakes on Saturday and were served non-vegan items. We clarified THREE times it was vegan, yet we were still served a milkshake with dairy, causing us to become incredibly sick. The owner then tried to blame us saying we were okay with non-vegan (why on earth would we suddenly abandon our morals? this is absurd). Then will only offer a refund next Tuesday 2-4pm - awful customer service. DO NOT RECCOMEND TO ANYONE WITH ALLERGIES OR DIETARY RESTRICTIONS. Edit: The owners is a certified sociopath. Look at his response, then look at the receipts I just posted. THEY DO NOT CARE IF THEY SERVE DAIRY AND WILL SAY YOUR REVIEW IS FAKE.

Awesome service from the staff they are very informative and the amazing atmosphere is great for any date night . If you like milkshakes they have a flavour for just about anyone and they come in this beautiful Jar. The prices are very affordable for a place that is this nice i was shocked . The music makes for a great time everything about this place is awesome and it will now be the only milkshake spot i go to from now on!

This is the next big thing out of Ottawa!! It s a bit of a hidden gem in the Ottawa market just on the north side of the house closer to St. Andrew. A lot of good food in this area that people don t often find out about until it s a big thing, so let this be the announcement that makes you go visit !! Very fair prices, great value, beautiful experience, inside and all around a five star spot!

Dogs are allowed inside its decadent and the employees are incredibly kind! It s a must-have experience if you re passing through Ottawa.

DELICIOUS! I got the iced coffee Ferrero. It is just the right blend of coffee and sweetness. The presentation and taste are ON POINT and it comes in a glass jar that you get to keep ! It was an amazing post-Iftar treat :D

2024 January 3 For goodness shakes, Love the play on the store title. Milk shakes and fries. Though they specialize in customized milk shakes topped off with various condiments. Not bad, though its not cheap. Not too too sweet either which is nice. Could be more thick though. Kit Kat $10 Milk shake blended with kit Kat pieces. Topped with creme and chocolate drizzled in the top inner rim. Its ok. 3 tables of seating for 3 available.

I wanted to pre-pay for my sister s birthday treat since I live in a different city, For God Shakes was so accommodating and made her visit extra special. She also really enjoyed the shakes with a friend. Great customer service!

Excellent milkshakes, bit on the pricier side. I tried the Brown Eye milkshale. Was quite rich with all that whipped cream, but was quite delicious. Came in nice little jars you can keep.

Fire shakes

I got the Vegan Crazy Butterscotch and it was the best shake I have ever gotten ! It was really delicious and they nailed the butterscotch flavour. The bottle was really cute as well. I cant wait to come by in-person and try the other flavours ! Dietary restrictions: Lactose-free options

Wow! Fantastic vegan options ideal for those of us who are lactose intolerant. Try the Maple World with oat milk. Quite simply The Best milkshake I have ever had. Will definitely be going back. All are beautifully presented like a work of art, you won t be disappointed.

I found my shake overpriced for what it is. The glass jar is a nice feature. I ordered the first ferrero shake and it didnt taste like ferroro much, just tasted like a chocolate milkshake. It was good but I prefer the ferrero milk shake from My Choco La. The price is more reasonable there as well. I wont be coming back here.

Atmosphere is excellent. The milk shakes are the best I have ever had. So cool that you can take your bottle or mason jar home with you and bring it back to reuse or just keeping nee ones and start your own collection for all the flavours :) you need to go try this place !

As a European, it is often complicated to find desserts that are not over sweetened here in Canada. I was pleasantly surprised to eat my Choco Moco properly dosed in terms of sugar, chocolate and ice cream. Thank you.

We had an amazing experience here on the weekend. The product is very good but the service is even better. The two milkshakes we tasted were delicious. I initially thought they were priced a bit on the expensive side but the novelty, service, and fact that you get to keep the jars makes it well worth it.

Ice cream is the perfect thing, but the name of this wonderful establishment says it all. I had the brown eye. It was remarkable! Very chocolatey full of brownie bits top to bottom and lots of chocolate sauce. You get to keep the glass which when you grab a top is a mason type jar. You got a stop in here.

Went to visit a friend who started working there, I tipped a pretty big amount for one milkshake and a cheesecake only to find out they never got a tip out at all for 3 weeks only to be fired for asking for what they earned. In a time where housing and food are outrageously expensive employees rely on tips to get by, this is just completely unprofessional, for that I wont be returning.

Tips don t go to staff. Don t support a place like this!

Everyone of the staff is so kind and accommodating and made the experience so wonderful!! It s also a plus that their drinks and fries are super delicious. My favourites so far are the Ferrero Rocher drink and the hot fries!

The spicy fries are so so good and I don t like spicy things. The milkshake variety and uniqueness keeps me coming back to try out different kinds. 10/10 would recommend

We tried a lactose-free chocolate shake, a over-the-top Crispy Chip shake, the Salta Cara Iced coffee and a slice of carrot cake. Everything was really, really good, and served in sustainable glass jars or bottles. Customers are invited to take the bottles and jars home, with a lid, to reuse themselves or exchange for future milkshakes (10 returned at once = 1 free shake). Gotta love sustainable small businesses! Highly recommend visiting and will definitely visit again.

Sadly disappointed. This was the third time I passed by intending to get a vegan shake. Twice it was closed (very limited hours), third time out of the one ingredient they need to make their items dairy free. However, the ambiance and crafty milkshakes do NOT make up for the prices. 13$ for a single milkshake with only 1 size option. The taste was decent but not worth more than the 3$ milkshakes you can get at McDonalds. That being said, great restaurant but wont go again.

A warm welcome through the door from Sushen, I wasn t sure how I felt about paying $15 for a milkshake, and then the group of 4 ahead of me starting getting their order.the milkshakes were presented like works of art, over the top presentation. I was very pleased they offered a spectacular lactose free option also( more than 1) I guarantee you will be taking a picture of your treat!! Nestled in the heart of Ottawa, For God Shakes is a heaven!! Went there with my friends, amazing service. The ambience is very inviting and perfect for pictures! First time here and was welcomed and asked how I was if u need a min so I picked the Mickey mouse one and omg its so good as u drink it everything falls in with shake so worth the 15$ best spot in ottawa for a crazy delicious shake!!!

Had the most wonderful experience here yesterday! Walking in, the place is clean, welcoming and very cool set up! The staff are incredibly friendly, courteous and well-humoured as well. My partner can t have treats as most places comfortably as he has a severe allergy to all nuts and the staff here sanitized all of their equipment so he could safely enjoy a milkshake. Needless to say, he was very excited. He ordered an Oreo Blast and I ordered the Lemon Lavender. The staff were able to substitute out any ingredients that contained nuts and both milkshakes were beautiful and delicious! We ordered it to go so we were able to get all our toppings on the side and we also got to keep the cute mason jars that the shakes came in! Neither my partner or I could get over how good the experience and treats were and we will most definitely be returning. Thank you so much For God Shakes!

We ordered the basic mango shake, and were charged almost $3 (before tax) to make it vegan - $2 for the vegan ice cream and the rest for the plant based milk. Nowhere on the menu specifies that vegan ice cream would be extra charge - it only lists plant milk options which are $0.5-$1. The shake itself was very thick but lacking mango taste. Overall not worth the price, considering the $3 surcharge for vegan subs for an originally $8 shake. The red&white straws are also too short for the bottle shakes.

If you are lactose intolerant, do not get any shakes. They lie about dairy content.

Highly recommend avoiding this place. Came here on Saturday night with another friend. Their group ordered a shake, I ordered the vegan one, clearly specifying to use oat milk and not have any dairy at all because it causes stomach issues for me. It seems like they understood the order so when we sat down and waited a while they brought out two shakes and put one in front of each couple without saying anything at all. We assumed these were our drinks and of course started drinking them, despite being within the view of the server who we explicitly told about the vegan shake, she didn t seem to tell us at all that we were drinking straight milk and cream. When we were about to leave they told us the vegan shake is ready. Needless to say we were surprised, I thought what they gave us was a vegan shake. When we spoke to the manager, she told us the employee who took the order was new and it was her first night. We tried to explain we re not upset at getting the wrong flavour, we re upset we got something we cannot physically digest without getting sick. Despite the managers apologies, the damage is done. Never going back to this place again and can only warn people. Youll just get an overpriced and incorrect milkshake.

The best milkshakes in Ottawa!

A place that serves decadent and expensive milkshakes. In fact, it is a milkshake loaded with additional desserts - for example, the pistachio milkshake we took came with chocolate chip cookies, brownies and of course whipped cream and pistachios. In the end, you get a very large dessert that is more suitable for a couple of people. Unfortunately the desserts did not live up to the level that justifies the price level - the pistachio flavor felt artificial and the cookies felt casual.

This place has the most AMAZING milkshakes!!! Some people have stated they re pricey, and you could say that, but they are not your typical drive through milkshake, these are REAL milkshakes topped with all kinds of treats depending on what you order, they are absolutely 100% fairly priced! These also come in glassware that the store allows you to keep! They were phenomenal, the best milkshake I ve had in Ottawa hands down & we will certainly be back!!! LOVED it!

Nice one in the town

Very mediocre milkshake. Got a standard one for $8 but wasn t a very big size for the price and not very flavourful. Also wasn t that thick so I finished it pretty quick and it took them a very long time to make it and the straw was too short. The store had a cool vibe and that s about it.

Overpriced and not worth it! I ordered pistachio shake and it tasted like cheap ice-cream from Food Basics mixed with milk. Even used cookies from a retail store to top it off. Very disappointed as I heard good reviews on this. Presentation looked good and that s the only positive unfortunately.

I havent tried a milkshake, but I popped in tonight and got 2 pieces of cake, a lemon lavender cheesecake and a chocolate torte, and let me tell you, they were both DELICIOUS. And I thought the presentation was really nice too, especially for takeout. Way better than what you get from most places like Oh So Good. Highly recommended if you like sweets!

We dug in before we could realize how much of a good review these shakes deserve. I love their use of glass jars (hoping I can return these when we do pick up!).
