The chicken I received was not fresh tasted stale. Very disappointing!

Food good and fresh the front waitress has bad priorities. My food was all done and ready but half way threw packing it she stops to take a phone call. That phone call ends up making me miss my bus while my food aslo just sits on the counter. Just put the fry in the bag and pass it to me. I now have to wait a half hour for the next bus.

Had the Spicy Lemon Pepper Wings and it was a 10/10. Best wings Ive had in Ottawa and Im the wing queen!

All the time I go there, the cashiers are always excellent, on point and sharp. It is however ALWAYS such a long wait. Most of the time it s not even busy! I like the food, simple stuff but sometimes not worth the long wait. Food

Waited almost 20 mins for overcooked, tough, chewy chicken. The fries were cold and had so much seasoning onthem they were not edible. Ended up throwing it all away. Never going back. Worst chicken I have ever had.

Chicken was dry like leftovers almost, I ordered a 2 PC combo with cajun fries and a spicy chicken sandwich both were dry and bland... And Im a fat guy on my lunch Im not looking for cordon bleu here. The cashier however was a very pleasant young lady, star of the show. Also on a side note they advertise the combos with a bottle pop 591ml and they only have cans to give you, clever money saving techniques there lol... And also clean your front door/glass its absolutely disgusting

My friend suggested this place. I went there today to dine in but they said its closed. I bought a burger combo. The sandwich was good but the fries were horrible. The fries were old and very hard. We threw them in the food waste. Ill not recommend it.

I have driven by here many times wondering what the food was like. Last night driving by a gentleman was leaving the store and I asked how s the food and he said excellent he eats there twice a week! So I decided to finally try chicken. BEST CHICKEN EVER!! I cannot say enough about the flavour of this chicken! Real, fresh chicken breast tenders ( not nugget chicken! ) and fries where were delicious. Crazy good fries. The 2 male staff members I dealt with were so friendly and pleasant. The chicken is cooked to order, so you wait just under 10 minutes ..sooo worth the wait. Fresh cooked .hasn t been sitting under hot light all day. Recommend everyone trying Fried Chicken Club They have a new regular customer for my fried chicken cravings! APR 08...Been here few times since first visit. The spicy tenders I tied this time are but great!

Pros: taste of fried chicken is good, service was good, but could have been better if server proactively suggested to order 6 piece meal for 2 adults instead of me doing my own math to come up with better options. Fries were fantastic, gravy was delicious. Cons: chicken size is way too small. Dont know how they are competing with Popeyes and Mary Browns. Bathroom had very less soap, place was full of teenagers just hanging around and creating noise. Will I ever go again? Possibly not.

Fast food was not fast.

Everything is over priced and the chicken is dry. Ordered a 5 pc chicken tenders no combo for 12$......only the combo comes with dipping sauce which is required because the chicken is dry.

Fried chicken needs to be fried to order. Saw a review where a employee told a customer the chicken is fried every morning. Ordered at 5pm, and it definitely tasted like it was fried earlier and left to sit ... The chicken was very dry. I also had fries. Which were very undercooked and mushy.

I came here with some friends and we were quite surprised with how big the wings were and how well they fry their fried chicken! The different sauces and dry rubs made it especially good and the portion was not bad. I was a little sad they no longer had coleslaw but the chicken is the star, and they did it justice. Well come back here again!

Overall good experience. The food was prepared fairly quickly. The worker behind the counter offered friendly customer service. Offered several dipping sauces for both orders that were put in. The wings were larger than expected. Had requested breaded but seems like I received unbreaded, but still enjoyed the meal.

This was my first order from here. The chicken burger was loaded with fresh vegetables and was tasty. The onion rings had lots of flavour and very crisp. Will need to try the wings next!

Food is actually top notch for what it is. Where I take issue is that their website prices are and have been inaccurate for some time. They now reflect the same prices on UberEATS so there is no benefit to ordering directly from the store. Going through UberEATS is actually better because they offer discounts and deals whereas the website does not. They also advertise 50+ flavours of wings so I was disappointed when I ordered the flavour honey-hot and got charged extra for an additional sauce. I find it hard to believe that each of their 50 sauces is not a combination of some sort and requires an extra charge. But I will say that food is consistently good and the staff are always friendly.

Went there today for a take out I ordered the family combo which was around 40 dollar. On the website it say I supposed to get biscuit with the meal which the guy didnt gave me,I asked where is my biscuit he said we dont have it anymore and i said are you going to give me something else and he said it was complimentary with the combo, as a customer I expect get what it said on the menu nothing less. I came home the chicken was so dry omg I think they triple fried the chicken. This will be the first and last time going there. Very dissappointed. THE SIZE OF THE CHICKEN OMG WAS VERY SMALL TOO

My husband went here to get me a chicken wrap and OMG. You could not even taste chicken though the spice and the tomato. My husband asked what kind of lettuce it was before ordering as he know i only like romaine. The guy serving him did not even know what lettuce was and all he said was its not spinich and its green. You need to better train your staff

Come here often and honestly food is good every time. However on multiple occasions I have been asked to pay for sauce including gravy when other times Ive ordered it has been free, no questions asked. I am not sure about the policy regarding sauce but if people are expected to pay, then it should be mentioned by all staff, not some or the other. Its become very frustrating as Im a frequent customer. I paid $20 for a kids 4pc tender combo which hasnt happened until today. Its absolutely nuts... Pay $20 and sauce isnt even included in that? Im a little confused.

I ordered the chicken tenders combo. The chicken had little to no breading on it and because of that was served dried slices of chicken. The fries were the redeeming factor of this meal as I did not finish the chicken. The service was great I will admit, but this was a first and last for us for our chicken adventures

I went and got the family combo about a month ago the chicken was old, hard, dry. I thought maybe today it would be diffrent. I walked in told the guy at the cash that I had a issue with the chicken last time and that I want to order but I want to see the chicken before night pay and walk out. He said the chicken is cooked fresh every morning. It was 6pm that I went in at. I laughed and walked out. The chicken use to be good almost a year ago. The quality went down big time. Such a shame. It was really good chicken. Had me hooked the 1st time I ate it.

When I first saw this place, I said to myself how different can this place be from other restaurants that sell chicken but when I went inside and actually tried the chicken oh my goodness it s absolutely fantastic!!!!

I went to the Fried Chicken Club for lunch with my friends. The staff was friendly and the location was great. We ate a chicken burger and chicken wings (suggested by the staff). I was astounded by the flavor and the chicken was incredibly fresh. I found that the wings were my favorites. For their delicious and crispy chicken, I would heartily suggest this restaurant, and I look forward to returning.

If you are a chicken lover, this place is an amazing option to try. And I promise you gonna come back again. My favourite is combo 3 and chicken burger. The service was so cheerful and greets you with a great smile. The place is very hygienic to bring kids. It s a good place to hangout with friends, sit peacefully and have an amazing food!

Actually so disappointing. I bought a chicken burger and a poutine. I paid $20 for the combo. The poutine was fine. I started there and was pretty excited to move on to the chicken burger. I opened up the chicken burger to be a little confused when half of the bun felt a little flat and empty. The chicken burger took up about 50% of the bun. Whatever. No big deal. But when I bit into the burger I swear I could have broken a tooth. The chicken was about 5 cm thin. The driest hardest chicken I ve ever bitten into. Biting into a rock would have felt better. I ve attached a picture & video because I can t really believe it myself. The fact that someone had to pick up the piece of chicken, notice how tiny thin and hard it was and still put it on my burger and served it to me is shocking. Just tell me you don t have any chicken left so I can at least order something else. I threw it in the garbage and now I have to go find something else to eat.

One of the best fried chicken and wings in the town. Very well tailored to everyone s choice of taste buds. The quality of the chicken (halal) is fresh and far better than any other fried chickens out there. Loads of menu to choose from and worth each penny. Must visit place! Vegetarian options: They are providing quality of vegetarian options freshly made. Parking: Very convenient location and plenty of car parking. Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming friendly staffs.

Friendly staff and well priced menu

First time buying here. The chicken was good, meaty, and not greasy, so it was much better than the dirty bird at KFC. Pieces were a tad small, though, hence the four stars rather than five. Esh, the guy at the front cash, is a super-nice young man, and it was great to chat with him while my chicken was cooked to order. This place is lucky to have such a personable and likeable guy working for them.

Had the combo 1. If your eating alone this is more than enough food..if you share its a decent portion for 2. In short pricing is fair..chicken had a nice crunch, was not dry at all. Tried the cajun fries, very tasty with a nice little kick! Their brown sauce is good but the side sauces like the BBQ and Garlic one were so so. In short its worth the price and its fresh plus it came with great sevice.

Yesterday was the first time for us, it was amazing service with great quality food sure I will come back.

I went there to try the breakfast and it was good. The service was good and with a smile, and the food and coffee was good. I think the waitress was laughing a bit because I was taking pictures of the menu and food, but despite them putting signs all over about their new breakfast, they had completely forgotten to put it online anywhere. So someone had to do it. Parking: Location is in the Elmvale mall with plenty of stalls all around the restaurant.

I love fried chicken so I was very excited to see this place across the street from my optometrist....but a big disappointment it was. The guy at the cash was super nice but didnt seem to understand questions or basic asks. I spent $21.07 and I ordered the chicken burger and poutine to which he asked if I wanted spicy or not, I said yes to spicy. Moving on I waited a bit which is fine I dont mind waiting at all - fresh is best. The poutine was great, lots of cheese, fries could be cooked a little more but not really any complaints on the poutine. So the burger. Wow. It was horrible... remember how I ordered spicy? They put regular instead of spicy mayo. I did a takeout order so I didnt see until I got home. But besides that the chicken was SO overcooked like tremendously overcooked, so dry, I could barely bite it much less chew it. In addition to that all I could taste was coleslaw?? Im not sure but it seemed to me that instead of lettice they just put coleslaw..though this could have been a miscommunication between me and the guy at the cash because when I asked a question he did think I said something about coleslaw- to which I said no and repeated my question but anyways. Would not recommend.

I was asked to pay for a ramekin of mayo to go along with my fries. Food was okay, typical restaurant supply frozen food fried and served to us. Nothing crazy. Gravy felt like a powdered mix was used. But seriously, asking to pay for a ramekin of mayo? Yikes.

We were there 3 times and the owner was there. Everything was excellent. Went back this morning and the breakfast was horrible. Coffee was cold, eggs cooked in old oil, potatoes was probably re-cooked from the day before and bacon was half cooked. New server with no experience and was replaced with a rooky chef. Will not return.

This place is amazing. The food is excellent. We had poutine, chicken strips, pasta, and fries. I brought my three-year-old grandson who was very picky and difficult. The owner went out of his way to make this little boy. Feel welcome and happy. Now this is my grandson s favourite place. Big thanks to the staff here for the great food and personal touch.

Ive already had this place a couple of times now, but I just felt like I had to leave a review. The texture and the feeling of the Chicken was important to me. Too many places these days have Chicken, where youll be eating, and your hands will have been covered in grease, and a large chunk of the Chicken they give you is just straight cartilage. When I ask for Chicken, I mean that crispy tender meat that has that satisfying crunch to it. This place has given me the luxury of this. Not to mention their fries with gravy are spectacular. The biscuits are delicious and the smell of them just carries your mind right into the box. For this, I have to give a full fledged five star review. Good stuff! (Might I add, I seriously recommend trying their poutine.)

If you are going to get convo 3 - which is advertised as 4 pieces of chicken and fries, beware, it is a LOT of food for one person. I am writing this review a few days after, and I still feel full from eating it. The chicken I ordered was the spicy / boneless variety, highly recommend so you don t have to deal with the bones (which can sometimes be sharp and dangerous) The chicken tasted fresh, the breading was well seasoned and not salty, on par with a KFC. With combo 3 you get a drink, dipping sauce and a small bowl of gravy. Overall it was good meal, all of the ingredients tasted fresh and well made.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Stopped in randomly for lunch while on an errand and had a Combo 4, Medium Spicy Chicken Sandwich. It was the best crispy chicken sandwich Ive had in ages! Chicken was juicy, perfectly cooked. Sauce was nice, lettuce and tomato were fresh and crisp. Bun was good and held up to the heat and sauce. Fries were unreal, crispy outside, fluffy inside, so good! 12/10, wish they were close to my home because it was amazing.

This chicken is really good - like REALLY good! I ve had Korean fried chicken before but I would say this is the best yet. Staff is very nice as well, I dropped in after a day of running errands and didn t realize it was 2 minutes before they closed until after I had ordered, but they happily made me a terrific family meal. I ll be going back that s for sure.

Ordered the family 9p meal. The chicken is so great, portions are huge ! Fries were so good too, which they never are, I dont really like fries but these were so yummy. Everywhere I order from theres always something thats not so great but this was all around amazing !

The customer service was extremely upsetting, I ordered a 6 piece spicy chicken and got chicken filled with salt, and when I went to get another order, they didn t give me anything. They refused to give the order again and insisted on returning half the money of my order.

I wanted to try just one piece of the chicken here. The staff served up a piece of breast that was burn-your-fingers hot. They threw in a sauce sampling as a kindness. Courteous and fast and it was great, too. Nice shop in a small mall with ample free parking

I got the chicken sandwich combo. I asked the employee before what was the size. He showed me with his fingers and I asked if it was like the Big Crunch size at kfc, and he said yes. Well, it wasn t even half the size and the sandwich was as Mess. When I showed it to him he just shrugged it off and said that or size and how we serve it. This was also after I asked for some salt for my onion rings and he told me they were salted enough, and didn t give me any. I wasn t offered anything and just ate my meal and left. Do Not eat there. Way Over priced for what you get and not very good at all.

Hello fried chicken club, We were at fried chicken club st Laurent location, for the lunch meal.we ordered deluxe combo , one of the best chicken they have along with the flavours of the chicken and special homemade dipping sauces. Chicken was cooked so properly , and juicy with every bite. Ambience was good with the mesmerizing taste of chicken. Must visit place for chicken lovers.

I ate hear today. Delicious chicken. Not greasy and deep fried like KFC. I also had spaghetti as a healthy alternative to French fries with my combo. The place was clean. Good prices. Customer service was perfect. Spiffy Car Care recommends this restaurant.

I left this comment one year ago but my point changed now. I ordered from here many times and I recommend this place to my friends, but I will NEVER order it ANYMORE! First of all, they don t support all dark meat note now. I get it, otherwise they would have lots of white meat leaf over. But the whole order white meat is just more horrible than an order without note. Looks like a hateful revenge. Plus, the white meat they gave me is super dry. Feel like I m chewing cardboards. This is the second time I have this experience. I won t throw my money to water for the third time. Great fried chicken and I love the pasta! Chicken (both bone in and boneless)is very crispy and juicy even after 30 minutes delivery. The chili powder in spicy chicken is actually spicy, so be careful if you think Popeyes is spicy enough. The only thing is that wings are quite small.

Wolfed down all the food before I could take a picture! Super friendly service and really delicious food. We got the 2pc chicken and poutine combo and it was more than enough to make 2 very big eaters very full. Chicken was battered and extremely crispy without being too dry inside, and well seasoned on its own. Decent variety of soft drinks too! The poutine was honestly one of the best Ive had. Fries were extremely crispy, gravy was really tasty, and generous portion of cheese curds! We had so many cheese curds left over! We will definitely keep coming back (and try to take a picture next time!) Please sign me up to be a member of the fried chicken club!

Just picked up our first order. It was so delicious. The chicken pieces were big, nothing compared to the competition. The fries and sweet potato fries were crisp and tasty. The cashier was very friendly and welcoming.We will definitely be coming back.

Ill be very honest as I am a big fan of fried chicken. I drove 40 mins just to try this new place. They were out of chicken burgers so we only got 6 piece spicy fried chicken. It was cooked very well and had that spicy kick which I loved. 10/10 to that. However, I am a bit disappointed on 2 things. First, I have never seen a spine / neck piece before in Fried chicken deal so it was odd to have 2 pieces that were useless. It should have been Leg, Thigh, Breast and wing like a standard deal. Secondly, please do us a favor, take the burgers out from your menu or increase your supply. I have been calling every single day and its so disappointing to hear the same thing every day Sorry we are out of chicken burgers I mean if you dont have supply at 4:30 how come you are serving till 9 pm? Overall, place is really good and I would definitely go again !

The staff is super friendly and the food is amazing. Whatever they use for the seasoning on the onion rings is truly magical. The wait times aren t very long at all, the price is a little more than I d like to pay but its still fair. Sometimes the breast pieces can get a bit dry, but its probably still the best take out food in the plaza.

This is THE place for fried chicken! The chicken is so crispy and juicy, and getting it spicy is highly recommended. Reasonably priced, and it arrived piping hot in Vanier. Ive heard the pasta is the side dish to get, and I urge you to try their Cheese Corn. Youll also want to put the gravy on everything.

Excellent chicken (crispy and spicy) and both regular and sweet potato fries were perfect. Would be nice to have a way to order online for pickup without going through uber/doordash/skip, and compostable cutlery/containers would push this over the edge.

Just delicious! Chicken was well done, crispy and juicy and tasted fresh. Their fries is a must try. Price is a bit higher compared to other places but for the taste, I will definitely go back. Just one quick suggestion, to compensate for the price, please include fountain drinks instead of just cans. Keep doing the great job!

i got the # 1 combo 2 pieces fries drink they even threw in gravy and 3 different dipping sauces chicken was awesome not greasy nice and crispy love the fries was a great meal portion was very nice much better than kfc mary browns or poppey definitely going back

This place is AMAZING !! The food is top notch. Everything is made to perfection!! Make sure you eat it fresh !! The sauces they have are a must try. The biscuits are not too good, they are cake like and sweet. And I have to mention the customer service is great, Amanda and Clare were amazing and very generous!!

I don t what chicken they are using but it s the biggest chicken pieces I ever had, it s so well cooked. The chicken is incredibly moist and the outside is a nice golden brown with it being incredibly crispy. The fries are one of the best fries I ve ever had and the fries alone are worth it. Cole slaw is the typical coleslaw taste and the biscuit was a little too dense/sweet for me. The gravy was bland and thin, had to cook it down and add salt to it. Overall, I am very pleased with my meal and the price is definitely worth it for the amount you re getting.

I went to support the business as soon as I knew it was new The chicken was good and I like it, but the problem is with the pieces they give us. I asked the lady if I can only have drumsticks, otherwise at least three out of 6 because I dont eat them. other parts and I specified that I can add money, something I do elsewhere and the person unfortunately refused and I was forced to throw away what I dont eat. If you can please work on this and offer customers what they prefer and of course we can pay for the service. thank you in advance for your help.

Good service, I usually order spice chicken burger combo with coke on side. You can call in early to prepare your order and pick it up later, I like this service to avoid any waiting. Store is brand new and I can tell they are doing their absolute best to provide great service . Appreciate their efforts

I ordered the 2 piece non-spicy meal. It came with fries, gravy, ketchup and a canned drink. I normally get my fried chicken the grocery store. This fried chicken had Hella crrrrunch! It was cooked and moist inside. The fries have that great coating, ya know, the kind where you can eat them plain? I tried the gravy even though it not my thing. It had a nice beefy flavor and stuck to the fries. Were my fingers greasy at the end?? Yes, just like you want from fried chicken. The staff was friendly and packed my order in a paper bag with handles. Will definitely go back.

I have tried many fried chicken restaurants in Ottawa and this one is the best for me. Chicken fresh and well cooked. Great service. Highly recommended.

Great Chicken

I really liked the chicken from this place but they started cheaping out the last couple of times I have ordered. One chicken thigh piece was cut in half and counted as 2 piece. Before they started doing this I would have given them 5 stars. Really hoping they wont continue this practice or I wont be going here again.

Really good fried chicken, fries and gravy. Coleslaw and biscuits are okay. Price is in line with the quality of food.

I found it to be super greasy but tasty and rather decent overall. I wish they added more dipping sauce since 1 isn t that much. The gravy is nice although I m not really a gravy person in the first place. The price is good for the large portions and I think it deserves a second shot so I ll probably go back again. Edit: went back again, the boneless chicken is a lot better than the bone-in. 4* overall.

chicken and onion rings were good, spicy wasnt too spicy and breading was crisp, service was good. Chicken was moist. But they dont have a bucket of chicken option without the bundled combo and all their sides were a complete disaster: the coleslaw was the green puree variety that looks like baby food, the biscuits had a weird taste(szechuan pepper?) and werent the texture, shape, colour or flavour of biscuits and the obligatory bucket of powder gravy went straight in the bin.

we had the 6-piece combo today.22 bucks for full meal and drinks, good value. Chicken was really good, corn bread excellent hard to find in Ottawa fries were poor. Fried chicken should always be served with fresh cut not frozen fries, you expect that from Kentucky. Their gravy is good. the coleslaw it a little blah. potatoes salad could be better choice. Service was good. i would give them 5 stars if they improve the sides.

Finally got to try Fried Chicken Club for the first time and thought their fried chicken was delicious. Each bite had the perfect crunch of the crispy coating and the juicy and tender on the inside. It was a pretty good experience for me. Really enjoyed the cheesy corn too! Thought that complemented well with the chicken.

I think I just found the best spot in town for fried chicken! I AM AMAZED.!

Just had this for lunch and was very pleased. Great chicken, fresh and juicy with amazing flavor and crunch. Onion rings were incredible, similar to A&W but even better. Gravy Id give 4/5 stars and the coleslaw 3/5 (its not the same as the images on their website, its the green paste stuff). Tried some of their dipping sauces and those were also super tasty. Customer service was excellent, and you cant beat the portion size/value. Overall, Id give this 6/5 stars if I could. Highly recommend!

I lost a 55$ order from this place by ubber eats yhe lady wont even help us get it back bad customet service the lady dont listen to your issue. She just wants to insist it not her issue she is not responsible but she alllows ubber eat to do this to us.

I had the chicken burger combo. Upgraded the fried to onion rings. It was good! I asked my chicken spicy but it wasnt that spicy. I wish it was a bit more. Good service and quick. It wasnt busy, so Im not able to say when it does get busy.

I bought the regular 3 piece chicken deal with the pasta at the Emvale Mall location. I walked 10 minutes in -10 weather to get home and when I opened the container the chicken and pasta were still hot. The chicken was moist and tender and the skin was crisp and crunchy. The flavours were exceptional. The pasta was a perfect el-dente and the sauce had a great tangy taste to it. I really enjoyed the meal. I know that Ill be back for more. Very quick service and very friendly staff. I highly recommend this place.
