Parking: The strip mall has lots of free parking but the other businesses are popular too, so there are times when you may have to park farther away from Liam McG s. Food

The best way I can describe this place is meh. Is it terrible? No. Is it good food? Meh. It is super average food but still expensive. 40 bucks for a sandwhich and beer and an appetizer I split with a friend and all was super average.

Went in with a heavy heart and they made me smile. Fantastic employees. And the lady who is in charge, is nothing short of being top shelf. They are lucky to have her.

I have been many times. Very good pub style menu, beer selection for all tastes. Lots of seating (once we had a group of 30 for a work social). Service always friendly. Lots of free parking.

Beer was cold, service friendly if a bit slow (staff shortage). Food was ok - nothing to get excited about. A bit pricey for what you got, although portions were large.

Used to come here semi-often before pandemic for after work beers and to catch hockey games. Came with my gf for a quick bite and the food was great. She had the Perogies, which were tasty, and I had two lbs of wings, Lemon Pepper/Cajun, and Insane. Insane sauce was extremely spicy, but very flavorful. My gf had cheesecake for dessert, and said its the best shes had in awhile, and she usually orders the cheesecake for dessert when we go out anywhere. Bianca was our server and she was super friendly and attentive as could be while also working bar and two busy sections. Would recommend, and return

Came with my daughter for dinner and drinks. The waitress was amazing, friendly and open to learning to make a scrumptious drink for us. The dinner was amazing, definitely will return. (The fact it was wheelchair accessible was a definite plus) Wheelchair accessibility: Easily made it inside (unfortunately no button but still easily accessible)

I was just trying to get home I needed to know when a bus was coming in that location I asked the waiter for wifi password waiter said the password but to fast for me to get and walked off another waiter clearly heard me ask for the password some other customers were coming in I moved aside for other customers but never was getting the password this other waiter that knew I needed the password came to me like pretend that she never heard trying to get the password from the first waiter that walked off then asked me is there anything like what s sup? I said the password isn t working do you know the password for your wifi network she then said wifi is for paying customers your gonna basically need to buy something I looked around left and right and most people seating are white I didn t see one black individual I would hate think that there racist but like was that ?? I was dressed like anyone else I was holding skateboard maybe that made me look poor or something I m just so confused why are we such cruel people to each ? In this world Why what I do but ask for the password to get home safely !

Good local sports bar.

The day was raining and dull but that matched the atmosphere inside the restaurant. Despite few patrons, there was a long wait for food - smoked meat sandwich and a tuna melt. Menus delivered with not so much as a hello or any form of greeting. Food ho-hum. The tuna melt was wet with moisture from mayo and the bread literally needed the steak knife provided.

Had yhe Beef au jus with mushroom soup. The soup was made in house and not from a can. Very tasty. The bread was fresh and soft. Lots of jus to dip in. All around great lunch. We will be back.

Went to eat there on a Saturday before going to watch the hockey game. Food was great, the waitress was absolutely fantastic. My wife has a gluten issue and ordered the burger. The waitress was quick to point out that some ingredients werent gluten free, and she offered to make sure that it was made with gluten free ingredients. We were both amazed that she wound do this. Unfortunately I cant remember her name but she was awesome, great job to her.

Have been going to Liams for years. Spent thousands of dollars here and will continue to do so. This is mostly because the wait staff are great, in particular Shannon.

I give the staff (Shannon) a five star for the attention and care she took with my allergies. It was superb, she went so far as to leave me a special menu detailing the items that I could eat. For someone who needs this special care and who rarely get staff who take it seriously, I was very impressed. I will continue to go there just because it was genuine service and the food was good pub food.

This place is your typical pub style restaurant. If youre looking for a delicious pub fare and a decent selection of beers, this is a good place to go. The interior is feeling a little dated, and it could use a reno update. However, that might be part of its charm. The service is occasionally overwhelmed but is otherwise good.

The servers were fantastic! We had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and the Smoked Meat Sandwich. Both of the meals were average at best. The draught was super cold - awesome!

Nice place, the Boulevard beer they have is pretty good. Apparently they have it custom made.

I been there a few times great food they were out of the fish and chips so thought I haven t had their hot wings. I ordered their hottest sauce I had yet to find a restaurant with hot sauce where milk is needed.. Their insane sauce was freshly made, let s just say of the 2 dozen wings I have eaten in Ottawa they beat the challenge as the hottest wings in Ottawa! Staff friendly. Place basically empty on a Saturday night. Food ok but didnt have the atmosphere of an Irish pub at v all. So if thats what youre looking for, go somewhere else.

Worst service and food Ive had in a long time. Our server Megan didnt like it when I asked her how long she had been a waitress and questioned her on why she hadnt come by to see how it was, she replied she did and I said then why are we having this conversation if you did. Not sure what was so interesting in the kitchen but come and check on your tables to see if they need another drink or how there food was. I could of probably left and walked all the way back to my hotel before you even noticed me missing. I definitely wont return there ever again it was one of my worst experiences in a restaurant in a while and Megan your tip reflected on the service and food. I havent left a 0$ tip ever but you definitely earned it today. Usually its one or the other bad service or bad food it was both here today.

Wow, hadnt been here in over 10 years, and what a gem. I went on a Thursday for lunch, they had a special, 4$ bar rails (vodka, gin, rye etc) - amazing!!! I ordered their club sandwich, and substituted fries for Greek salad, it was fantastic, fresh, and made in house. Definitely recommend ! 5/5

Spending here for dinner with colleagues once there the very nice waitress welcomed us with a very pretty smile and asked us to be patient given the lack of staff she brought us our drinks very quickly and took our order but I must say that even with the lack of staff I didnt see any difference the ultra fast and really affordable service and service in French even if we started in English with a big accent so thank you we will come back

Great spot to watch a sporting event and hang out. My only complaint is it smells like they need to change their filters for their deep fryers cuz it smells like old chicken wings in there all the time.

Service was great this waitress went out of her way to ensure our needs were meet great patio and the food was amazing well presented and hot and pricing very reasonable.

Terrible service, slow even though the pace was empty at 7 pm on a Sunday. Ordered the veggie burger, it was burnt and barely edible, French fries were cold, but I was hungry and did not want to wait another 20 minutes.

Service here is great every time we have been in. Last visit we let our server know we needed to be at a meeting in 45 minutes and she was able to get us in and out in 30 minutes which was greatly appreciated. Food is what you expect for a local pub.

I had a lunch meeting here and the food and service was great. The person who served us was attentitive but not intrusive. I would definitely recommend this place for lunch or supper. Also wash rooms are very clean and all the staff were very friendly.

Was at Maguires tonight and opted for the patio because of Covid 19. Asked the waitress who had worked there for some time if they sterilize the table and chairs after patrons leave. She told me absolutely! Three couples left while I was there and not once were the chairs sterilized. The tables were wiped and she informed me that the solution was sterilization. She cleared one table and did not sterilize the chairs. When I asked her about this she told me that the other waitress had only been there 2 days and if she had not been sterilizing the chairs it was her fault for not teaching her to do this. Come on! The young waitress should not have been allowed on the floor until she was trained. Liam Maguires you should not be open if you are not following protocol for opening in Ottawa.

Food was good, fast considering we had seven at our table. Only one waitress for the entire restaurant! Ordering and especially the bill took a while. Would be better with additional staff.
