Poulet Rouge Rideau Centre in Ottawa

I got a gift card for poulet rouge after the restaurant messed up my order on uber eats. But I can t use the gift card neither at your rideau nor at your st Laurent location because you are having IT issues . It s been over a month now, when will the system be fixed?

St Laurent location much more organized and efficient. Food was still good though

When you order a bowl or salad and the cashier asks avocado puree or Quinoa , they mean would you like to add avocado puree or Quinoa for 1.5$ extra. It wouldve been nice to know that. Also, the avocado puree tasted and smelled funny i wouldnt recommend avocado puree at all. The grilled chicken tasted good and smoky.

Just ordered poulet rouge at rideau center from Uber eats and although the uber service was terrible, we found hard sharp plastic bits in the food while eating it.

I had poutine with spicy mayo and sweet zaatar. This is the best in town. It is sooo addictive.

Tried Poulet Rouge for the first time, and it was awesome. I got the rice bowl with 4 pieces of chicken, and it was so delicious! A healthy option that was affordable and actually tasted good! The service was SUPER fast! All of the employees were kind and helpful from placing the order, choosing the toppings to going back, and asking for a take out bag. A great crew of staff, their managers should be very proud.

The food is very good and the prices are pretty good too. I eat here several times a month. Unfortunately the past couple times I ve been there I have observed them handle my food after touching raw chicken bins without changing there gloves or washing there hands

Ive been a regular to this specific Poulet Rouge for quite a while now and the bowls genuinely never disappoint! You get to choose the sauce, chicken flavor & toppings to go with your bowl which makes it incredibly customizable. The people working there are always really kind and I always enjoy going there once a week when I can (usually on Tuesday or Thursday afternoons)! The bowl itself is very flavorful and the generous portions are well worth the money. Would absolutely recommend and cant wait to come back :)

I was given the wrong chicken on my order - it was clearly a mix up with the chicken meant for another order as the sauce was wrong and the number of pieces of chicken was also wrong. No biggie, mistakes happen, I went back to the counter and asked for what I had originally ordered which they were happy to give me. Heres where the one star on service comes in: they took the chicken off the top of my salad. The chicken I had taken away from their stall and over to a food court table. The chicken I had touched to taste the sauce and confirm it was the wrong sauce. They took that chicken AND PUT IT BACK ON THE GRILL. After I explicitly told them I had touched it, they threw it away but until that point, they clearly intended to reheat that chicken and serve it to someone else. Thats both nasty in general and a health code violation. Since it opened I have found Poulet Rouge to be a pretty good dinner option for a low carb meal but now I dont think I ever could...

Located in the food court of the mall. The choice of various different bowls such as rice, salad and poutine. The means are delicious, especially since you have the option to create your own bowl.

The amount of salt in the food is insane. I had a bowl with rice and all I could taste was salt. PLEASE stop adding so much salt to your food. I m guessing it was the rice boiled with a whole box of table salt. I threw away half the food because of it. My friend tried a bowl with bulgur wheat and same thing. Overload on salt and the bulgur was over cooked and mushy. Just terrible quality.

I have tried poulet Rouge for my very first time the other day and I got recommended to try the poutine and it was so delicious 10/10. I also recommend to try spicy mayo on poutine at least once it goes really well together somehow! Honestly the employees are great and definitely would eat there again soon.

Didnt have the energy to go to a restaurant - but needed something with a vegetable in it. Excellent food, good prices and extremely tasty. Had the rouge bowl, half quinoa, half rice, with six toppings (various vegetables and cheese etc available), with avocado and chicken. It was a full dinner portion and I couldnt have been happier.

This place is pretty decent. I ve been eating here a few times during my lunch break. I like the variety of toppings they can add. Chicken has lots of flavour, I just wished they gave 4 pieces as a default instead of 3. Stars were deducted based on value for what you get.

My boyfriend and I tried this place a few months ago and we try to make a habit of going there every time we go to Rideau because the food is delicious!! I bought some for my family and everyone loved it! I highly recommend the garlic chicken! Vegetarian options: If you dont want any chicken, there is rice and couscous with a selection of sauces and fresh veggetable toppings! Parking: Hard to find parking because it is full during the day. Easier to take the bus.

French fries are not the same as other Poulet rouge locations, its cheap quality and the taste is different. I wouldnt recommend the poutine.

Ordered the poutine with BBQ sweet chicken, received very little gravy to the point the fries were dry. Very disappointed with the food and with the Manager blames it on Uber. He didnt listen well, no resolution.

Well what can i say , these people are the best i work for the mall, and whenever i go they give me plate fully loaded with their love . This is the only place for me to have dinner.

This place could be run by robots and they would do a better job, everything is already pre-made and only the plate is filled, which is why the taste is quite artificial, better go to a good restaurant.

Great food! Just go for the regular bowl. The mini isn t much of a price difference and feels like a cheat the portion you d get. You get toppings of your choice after selecting which chicken you d like.

Yo, I ordered a couple hours ago. Thank you for the food poisoning. Maybe tell your cook not to use the tongs they use for raw chicken, for the cooked chicken as well.

Awesome food with very simple, diversified and plentiful toppings to add to your chicken bowl. Depending on the time of the day, the place can get real busy and therefore difficult to manage for the limited staff that has to deal with online orders as well as on site provision of service. Atmosphere is what you should expect from a shopping mall food court.

Fresh and delicious, even when delivered! Really enjoyed this after having it recommended by a coworker. Great presentation too, though I was so hungry I neglected to take a photo before I inhaled it all.

Nice little place to grab a quick healthy lunch and dinner. The countertops were clean, decent variety in topings and choices of flavours, frequent changing of gloves etc were the signs suggesting a good place to have food. The best part i liked apart from food was the use of containers and takeout bags made up of fully recycleable and degradable materials. On the contarary there were miscommunication among employee, resulting me with a dry bowl instaed of adding sauces. Although all the topings have standardize scoop size, the portions were different from customer to customer and employee to employee. I personally had ordered a Veggie Bowl to which the employess were not sure on the number of topings that goes on top and plus i found them hesistant to work 30 min prior to closing time. Overall the quality of food was nice but the its hard for emoloyees to decide the correct portion size and wheather to work 30 min prior ro clossing,

I was struggling to find something to eat one day after work. According to my guy, I was hangry and unbearable. Makes sense. I found myself in line at poulet rouge where I had never been before. Before I could turn and run out of line, it was my turn. Balls, I thought. Ok time to order. Following the steps of the guy in front of me. 1 flavour bowl. (I picked the lemon). With half and half. Well holy testicles AMAZING. Everything about this bowl was delicious. Now I do a 2 flavour bowl and have left overs.10/10

the food at this location was good, prepped and plated good by employees who were very helpful in helping me choose what to get as this was my first time there. Towards the end of my visit what appeared to be the manager seemed overbearing and pushy with employees. the overall visit was great and food was delicious, i would ve hoped the employees were appreciated more for their hard work.

I had ordered a poutine and the chicken was slightly undercooked more on the pinkish side for my liking. So I went back and they gave me a new set of chicken and old box of poutine back which was touched by the undercooked chicken!

Placed an order through Uber Eats and went to pick it up only to be told by the worker (I think he was the manager) that he gave the order to someone else. He then refused to remake the order and said that it wasn t his problem and to take it up with Uber. I was appalled, Ive never experience such horrible customer service. Mind you, we came to pick up the order an hour and a half after it was placed, it s not like we came 5 hours later. This guy needs some training, you absolutely cannot treat customers like that.

The best place to have food in Rideau centre. It was my first visit to Ottawa and really liked this place. The portion size was generous and the taste was awesome. Took the take away boxes yesterday. We had no plans to pick up food from the mall but when we saw them making it, we couldnt resist. Will definitely miss it in Brampton.

Fries are very good in texture and flavour, cheese is similar to all the food truck s poutine, but gravy is lacking flavour. We got volcanic spicy level, either they forgot or there s not a hint of spice at all. It came with a spicy mayo that tasted like normal mayo with a smell of hot sauce. 3 little chicken tenders with no seasoning in it, but definitely does taste it was bbq/smoked. Personally, I would rather go to a food truck for poutine to support locally and for better portion/price.

Probably the best food Ive had in a long time. You can tell by the flavors that everything is freshly prepared and is packed with healthy ingredients. Enjoyed every last bite guilt-free. Serving portions are generous. Value for money. 10/10 will be visiting again on my next trip to Ottawa.

Seem to try to imitate Bourbon Street Grill next door at St. Laurent. Chicken is 1/10th as tasty as Bourbon. Is this the same place as the Torino restaurant that closed down?

Went back a third time, although the cuts of chicken breasts are small than they were at launch, they now add more cuts as trained. The quality of the food is decent. Basically the same place as the previous restaurant Torino. The loyalty program is not worth subscribing to unless you eat here exclusively.

Please put up a sign that clearly indicates where guests should order their food. I stood in the wrong line thinking that we are supposed to order 1st at the kitchen and then pay at the cash when in fact its the other way around. I am sure that you can understand that this is very confusing for people that are not familiar with your establishment. And, in case youre wondering, it wasnt just me being stupid. There was a lady behind me that had been exact same problem.

Chicken rouge bowl is delicious!

The Rouge Bowl is a symphony of flavours. Its also a very healthy alternative to a lot of what the food court offers. I eat here every Friday. Its one of the high points of my week.

Good taste. An extra piece of chicken would make a difference. As well offer more toppings such as beans would also be a suggestion.

Friendly service although the guy who set up my bowl didn t really know what was going. Therefore the portions were smaller than usual, but it s okay because his mentor fixed that. Everything is still starting out new, so there s a few hiccups! The chicken was delicious and it was a very filling bowl.
