Nestled along the banks of the Rideau River with incredible patios, join us with your family and friends for a comfortable and fun dining experience.
I went to the Bridge Public House recently for the first time and the service was amazing, staff were very welcoming and attentive. I had the breakfast and not only was it presented beautifully but the taste was great as well. I will be returning!
Discovered The Bridge Public House through Wednesday night West Coast Swing events. It's always a great atmosphere and very welcoming. The staff are amazing, the food delicious and located in such a fantastic location in the city. So glad this community based spot offers such diverse activities!
it’s good in general. there its nice seating to eat dinner . I had a steak nacho its was good and served in new style . I liked it, and will coming here again.
Three of us were biking around on the multi-use path when we decided to find a place to eat. We were right beside the Rideau Tennis club, so we thought we'd check out their restaurant. We sat outside on the patio at the very end. A bit squishy for 3 at the small table but we didn't want to sit on the sun and the other side that had seating for 4 was full. My burger was fantastic. The other two shared eggs Benny and both said the breakfast was excellent. Service was perfect. Great location if you're biking in that area.
Had a great experience at this restaurant. Only complaint was that the service was a bit slow. Also the chicken thigh app was not as many pieces as the wings, although it was boneless pieces, but if you want chicken as an app or shareable, get the wings with the KTC sauce which was amazingly delicious The fish and chips was absolutely amazing and one of the better pieces of fish and chips we have had recently. All the dough was cooked although there was still quite a bit of it. The Brussels sprouts were in season and were huge pieces, even cut in half. Could have done with a bit more cooking but we’re still really good. The beer was very good, not a local craft but very unique from Prague I believe. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection, but not exactly what I was expecting as it was flank steak but looked like a strip. Very good experience and would go for wings and fish and chips again for sure
Not bad at all. This could be a great place to go for a quick bite to eat. I had a burger around lunch time while waiting for a friend to finish her gym. The juicy and succulent burger kept me busy eating.... it tasted fresh! Huge and spacious. Quick service Great variety of food. Great prices. I liked it, and will consider coming here again.
Great food to our surprise! Highly recommend. Update: been a couple times since my first review, with groups, and it was a little disappointing. Adjusting the review. Both times, they stuck us in the back room. The service was unorganized, slow and the menu has been simplified a lot, not as unique as before, mostly bar food with a twist.
Came here with a group of friends on a week night. The menu is quite complete but moderately priced for what they have to offer. However considering this is a private sports / athletic club, I guess affordability is not much of an issue. On the other hand, dishes do seem quite nicely displayed and tasty. They do also offer special snack menu plates for $10 after 8 pm. Regular Small plates are $17 + ( except soup is $11). Fries was $8 Overall, a nice setting for after sports hang out and get a quick bite. Service was good until a large group came in so I would say pretty nice. Great for large group hang out tho. They also have outdoor settings with fires……
Waitress was rude and also proceeded to look over our shoulder when we were paying/tipping. Food was well presented but not amazing. Disappointed because I had previously had good experiences here.
What a find for people who want friendly service, a casual atmosphere, and SUPER delicious food that accommodates everyone s dietary restrictions. Kudos to the lovely waitstaff for making it such a pleasant experience and the new chef for the menu (still dreaming about the chocolate dessert). Grateful I won a gift card which inspired the visit (I will be back)!
Watapp no plzz
The Bridge is a great place to stop for dinner (much better than your average pub food!). It has a nice patio for outdoor dining, and a beautiful dining room / event space inside. On select Wednesday nights, its even better: after dinner, the main dining room hosts Rideau Swing Collective for a night of West Coast Swing (WCS)! As a long-time member of the Ottawa WCS community, I can confidently say that this is hands-down the best place we have ever had to dance. The room is clean, spacious and beautifully decorated, and the ability to buy drinks at the bar during the event is a huge perk. The vibes have been fantastic every time Ive gone! Such a treasure for our community.
Terrible experience, should have left after being ignored by server for about 20 minutes but stayed. Food order messed up, French Toast served without fruit, syrup, etc, Avocado Toast with little to no avocado, Eggs Benedict - served on plain not toasted muffin, etc etc. felt bad for server, new and clearly not trained at all, kitchen is disaster, seemed to be experience of our fellow diners - many complaints! As an update, i did hear from The Bridge Public House who offered to make things right, and I responded a few weeks ago, however I have not heard from them since - so i guess that just reflects how much they valued our business!
All you need for a Saturday morning. Nice patio looking over the tennis courts and the pool. Food was decent.
My first time here, food was great, felt like on holiday watching people play tennis, in the sun on the patio, amazing consistent friendly service.
If I could give zero stars I would. Waited forever, order was wrong, food was horrible. Very disappointing.
Delicious food, friendly staff , great atmosphere.
This place was so good. The service was amazing, the food was phenomenal. Me and my kids go here a lot they really like it. They have board games. Id really recomend this place 5 stars Kid-friendliness: The kid friendliness was very good
They were very accommodating of both our doggie and our allergy requirements. The burgers were excellent, highly recommended!
I was always under the impression that this was a members only establishment. To my surprise, we were able to book a tennis court and enjoy a lovely lunch at the Bridge, on the veranda overlooking the courts. The landscaping is gorgeous, the facility is well maintained and the entire staff is charming. Looking forward to our next visit. Kid-friendliness: There were so many children enjoying day camp and the pool.
I thought I wrote this review already!! I had the best time with my team. We were treating with so much honour and respect during our holiday party. Michelle is such a good manager she made our party extra special and I will never forget the spectacular time we spent. I wish I could give 10 stars!! Everything was organized and the menu was curated perfectly. I literally had to go in the kitchen and thank the chef. It s been a while since I ve had such well seasoned food. I can t wait till I need to organize another event.. I know where we are going. -Gabi
There was a private event going on so we had to sit in a back room.. service was good and we had the eggs Benedict which were pretty good. Id give this place another shot when its not booked.
Not a lot of value for money this time. The food was terrible; cold. The coffee had bits floating in it. I let my server know and she says yeah the manager only put one cook on today and he s overwhelmed . So disappointing 90$ for three breakfasts
We celebrated my Mums 80th birthday with a breakfast brunch in the Rideau Room. The buffet selection was amazing the bacon and sausages were the best weve ever had! The Bridge was very accommodating to food sensitivities and allergies, providing gluten and dairy-free options. Our guests all loved the food and the venue. The room was beautifully decorated and set up exactly as we discussed. Michelle and Chris exceeded our expectations and contributed greatly to the success of our party thank you both!
Im not usually one to write negative reviews, but this was possibly the worst dining experience Ive ever had. At first they didnt have the appetizer we were looking for, no biggy. But then, we waited literally an hour and 20 minutes for our food (a pasta dish and a fish and chips). Other people arrived after us, drank, ate and had left before we even got our food. More important than that though is that when it got there, the pasta was inedible; it tasted very strongly and only of garlic powder, and had been sitting under the heater for a while as the top pasta was crunchy. Presentation was really bad too. Its unfortunate since we live nearby and would have loved to come back often if it would have been good, but if we do come back itll be for drinks only. At least it wasnt crazy expensive ($13-14 for the pasta) and the server gave us a discount for the long wait, but with how bad it was there would have been a case for a refund at least for that dish. Were very easy going and had a fun time despite all that, but will not be eating there again thats for sure.
Good food and service is good, but, we had our new car window smashed and broken into today. My Dad parked close to the entrance but that did not seem to help. I called The Bridge to see if they had security cameras and they confirmed this has been a common occurrence for years. They mentioned they are planning to install cameras but this is not helpful for us currently when trying to file a police report. I asked they please install cameras as soon as possible so that people have some recourse when this does occur. My Dad is older and quite rattled by the situation. He is worried about going back.
We used to eat here quite often and stopped last year because of the limited menu choices and quality of the food.Weve dined here twice recently and the food has been exceptionally good on both occasions. A huge improvement from last year! The service was great as well. You have won us back, and we will recommend The Bridge to friends!
Nice atmosphere, friendly service. Fish and chips were ok. Burger was good, a bit on the small side but with fries, I was full. Poutine is pretty good, real curds and tasty gravy.
Wow! We hosted a private company event with 100 people and Michelle and her team were phenomenal! Kind, courteous, adaptable, helpful and timely. They helped with setup, displayed food beautifully, and served food graciously. Fantastic customer service all round. Thank you!
Incredible! Hosting an event with Michelle and her staff was an absolute pleasure. She was helpful in every step of the process and was more than accommodating for our needs. The planning process was made significantly easier because of Michelle and on the day of the event, everything went off without a hitch because of her and her incredible team. If you are looking to host an event with exceptional customer service, beautiful presentation and taste of the food menu and cocktails, and to feel taken care of by every single staff in a beautiful venue, look no further! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
The staff were very nice and friendly. Our appetizer was really good but our mains weren t great. It definitely looks higher scale on the pictures than it is.
Just to say a big thank you to all the staff from Michelle ,Hannah and our Server Kris. Very friendly food was excellent we had a complimentary bottle of wine.thank you again. We are already talking to all our fronds about the bridge public house. Great job to everyone
Just had a wonderful dinner at The Bridge. We had a group of 17 people. We gathered in the Rideau Room for cocktails and dinner. They gave us a short menu to pre-order our meals ahead of time. A nice variety of dishes including Vegan and Gluten-free options. Friendly and accommodating staff Thank You!
Dog friendly on the heated patio. Good service and good meal even if it wasnt super hot on the terrace in December, this proposal for owners with their dog is perfect Keep it up!
Always look forward to patronizing this establishment when I visit Ottawa
Down a star post Covid. Yes prices are up but that s not why. The issue is that the plates are now easy to trace to the Sysco restaurant supply truck. Ottawa pub food. Do you really want this after the hard earned workout. Stick to the beer and maybe a snack. Was so much more but I guess asking for good food AND a great sports club us too much. Maybe the owners will take the plunge and go local and fresh for summer.
Thank you Hannah and your team! We were in town for a hockey tournament and in preparing for our visit I had found The Bridge Public House. Hannah was responsive, attentive, and flexible when it came to planning the multiple dinner seatings. While in town we also decided to do brunch earlier in the day, again her response was quick and welcoming. The brunch was good and the service quick. As we had decided to do a pre-order for dinner to accomodate our large group, she had name plates ready with guests orders, including dietary restrictions, dinner was ready to go for when we arrived. Once again the service was excellent and the food great. They also had an employee take our kids to a back room and keep them engaged for 30 minutes giving the parents a break. Hannah and team, everyone is so thankful for a great experience.
I went here with my daughter and her hockey team. We were in town for a tournament. I was so impressed from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere is cozy with lots of pillows. The hosts immediately gave myself and my daughter place cards which had our correct order that we had done in advance. The food came out within 5 minutes of sitting down. Drinks orders were quick as well. The Korean sandwich was delicious and my daughter loved the chicken fingers and fries. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
I cannot begin to express my sincere thanks and gratitude for the staff at The Bridge, and in particular Steenikas help with planning my moms surprise 70th birthday party. From the start of my inquiries about the space, menu and set up she helped guide me through everything along the way. She was incredibly responsive to questions and would get back to me very quickly. My mom and my family had a wonderful time and I cannot recommend the Bridge enough if you are planning an event! Thank you Steenika and crew for everything!!!!
Very nice patio area with tables in the shade, love coming here from time to time for a pitcher of beer and some of their fantastic wings
Good people, a bit expensive for the plate !
Great food, great staff, fast service in a very nice and clean location. Really enjoyed our group lunch. Food
OMG their Buffalo Wings are so good!!! We came here as a group of Eight to celebrate the end of a work project and we had a very nice early evening in a relaxed atmosphere. We all had different dishes and all dishes looked good and tasted well. None of us was disappointed.
I used to really enjoy coming here but in the last year, the standards have really dropped at this venue. Theyve significantly increased their prices (averaging $20-$23 a plate) while decreasing the amount of food on the plate (sides are no longer included and even the sauce is extra $ - I was charged $10 for a handful of fries to share with a friend, and $2 for a bit of mayo ). This also applies to the drinks. Theyve reduced their menu and what they do have available is average, at best. The service is incredibly slow (we waited over an hour for our meals the last two times we visited) and the food comes out at vastly different times so you dont end up eating with your guests at the same time. The servers seem stressed and Im not surprised because they seem very understaffed. The décor is lackluster. Not really an enjoyable place to eat.
$8 for a side bowl of fries. This is how it showed up on the table...plus, check out the side of mayo. Maybe I should have asked to pack it in a to-go container and saved it for later.
Such a fun and friendly place; the people are casual but accommodating
Bridge Public House An amazing tucked in a tennis club style eatery, beautiful decor and very inviting staff. The food was great! I had the pasta salad and the Monte Cristo which was the bomb. Drink menu was vast, had the moscow mule. Highly recommend, a gem hidden away for sure, I have eaten many places in ottawa and this has escaped me for years. Check it out! 5/5
Great pet friendly lunch option!
Very much enjoyed brunch on the patio last Saturday. Had the bridge breakfast with wilted spinach (love they have this option). In and out within 40mins, great service! Food
My family of 14 came here for a morning brunch and it was lovely. Staff was attentive and quick. Food was fresh and excellent.
Lovely wee place. Nathan and Duke really make the place welcoming with their happy smiley vibes
Our server, Nathan was top notch, the food was good, but the atmosphere of the place still has not matured into any kind of personality. It still looks like they just built the place and they still have to achieve a kind of ambience to make it seem lived in and oft-frequented.
Fish Taco and mango lime hot sauce
I had my wedding here and I wouldn t recommend it to others searching for a venue. Although it went mostly smoothly on the day, there were a few things that really troubled us: - All our guests were very hungry we bought appetizers + main course + 2 sides for each person. We stressed many time that we wanted to ensure our guests were well fed and they assured us they would be. We didn t realize until the next day when all our friends and family told us they were hungry - how embarrassing. (They had brought the bride and groom large portions and so we assumed all our guests got the same). - Organizing the wedding with them was a headache - they switched wedding coordinators FOUR TIMES! We had to keep re-explaining our wishes/how the day would go. This also led to price changes + change in portion sizes. Although the last coordinator we dealt with (Michelle) was pretty helpful, I would be weary that they ll change event coordinators again in another couple of months it definitely made planning the wedding more stressful than it should have been. - A grumpy bartender threatening to cut off our guests for no reason and telling our guests it was a terrible day and he wished it were over . Not the happiest guy to have at the wedding. Other than this, the wedding went smoothly enough. But we were extremely upset that all our guests were hungry the portions they gave were not acceptable. I would book at a real wedding venue instead of The Bridge because they probably have more experience with catering to wedding needs.
Had a nice breakfast here, service was great, really nice atmosphere.
Service was excellent - staff were friendly and added logs regularly to make our fire warm. Fire pit experience: overall I thought it lacked value, especially if you re in a smaller group. The sweet treat package was 2 s mores each a brownie and a cookie. I m not sure why a coffee tea or hot chocolate is not included. Since we ordered our own beverages everything came to $160 (40$ a person). For that price, I think I d want to see some cushions on the chairs (plastic is cold)! Some blankets and maybe some extra atmosphere setting items like nice lights. Still - was something different to do in winter.
Nice place to stop for a cold one after a walk or xc ski trip along the River
Dont think that because you have a reservation they will keep it up, you may get discriminated because you dont spend enough money. Ive never seen anything like this! I had confirmed reservations through their website, and they call me on the day of the event to cancel saying we have not spent enough $$$ when we have gone in the past. Little do they know they are ditching ppl that have plans to play tennis there or that eventually may go back on their own to plan events or what have you.
Awesome staff
Food was great. Large patio with lots of space between tables. No views of the water near by, but nice yard with big trees. Service was slow for a lunch service. Burger portion was good, taco portion was small.
The best patio in Ottawa! The food is amazing and the service is great. Very friendly and fun place to grab a drink or a meal.
Absolutely must visit gorgeous great service definitely impressed thanks for your service
Pet friendly, delicious food with patio sitting available
Always creative & tasty dishes. Best views along the river.
Food is excellent. Service is friendly but a tad slow. Surprised at how fresh the fish and chips were - fish is locally sourced. Nice to see an adult and children s menu.
Went for breakfast today. Setting is great & very relaxing. Service with Chelsea was excellent, however the breakfast was terrible! Besides the price having gone up by 40%, (coffee not included), we no longer have choice of sausage, bacon or ham, horrible greasy succotash rather than the couple pieces of fresh fruit we used to get. The whole breakfast looked & tasted like it had been prepared a day or so ago & simply warmed up & full of grease. Bring back the breakfast you served pre-Covid & your former cook/chef.
Pet friendly! That is awesome :D
Excellent Service! I hosted my kids high school graduation party at the The Bridge Public House. From the first day I contacted them until the day of the event Ive been impressed with their quality of service and the staffs pleasant accommodation for our special requests. The day of the event everyone was very helpful during set up and when my guest arrived the servers were welcoming and attentive to their needs. Everyone enjoyed their time and their food. On behalf of my family and my guests thank you for making our celebration unforgettable. a special thx to Chef John, Keith, Ivy, Nolen, Charlotte. You guys rocked!
Super classy and excellent service with upscale clientele.
This is a lovely, laid-back spot with a porch patio that overlooks the tennis courts and the Rideau River pathway. Just a chill place to grab a drink if you were wandering Strathcona Park, cycling the river pathways or just live in Overbrook or Sandy Hill. The drink list has a decent amount of local options, and the food is rooted in pub fare but with a few pretty interesting, creative choices the nachos, for example, are served on wonton chips with green goddess sauce. I appreciate the deviations from the norm!
Great food!
Awesome food, awesome staff great view from the upper patio, wide beer selection and lots of cocktails
Hidden neighbourhood gem! Great location by the water, and serves sneaky good food! We got the gnocchi and the Asian Sando. Wasn t a huge fan of the gnocchi, but the sando was really good and something different! They have heaters on the patio so you can sit outside even if it s colder.
Truly a hidden gem in Ottawa. The food is onpar with any 5 star restaurant out there today ! The staff feel like family. Food : 5/5
We had a company event here. Nice size for our group and good breakfast buffet.
What a great atmosphere! The first thing we noticed upon entering is how beautifully decorated it is. It feels cozy but with a sophisticated twist. The bonfire outside was such a lovely addition. Staff are friendly and service is fast. They have a fantastic selection of beers, wines and spirits. The musician, Richard, did an amazing job. The music was just right for the time of night and made it easy to relax and enjoy the evening. Staff did a fantastic job adhering to COVID protocols. We look forward to the next time we can come back!
Great food! Great service! Favourite food place in SH. Nice to come on wednesday with the live music
Love this place !!
Great place, what a fantastic way to spend an evening with friends.
Loved their private firepits in the winter. Great way to hang with friends while social distancing. Friendly servers. Tasty food.
I tried this place for the first time during covid. I ordered their frozen foods and boy was I pleasantly surprised. The elk spaghetti was great and their soups are so tasty. The place is super cute and nice on the inside so I m excited to actually sit inside and dine once things are open again. Customer service was also great. I think I talked to the owner (an older gentleman) and he was very friendly and kind!
Amazing food in a relaxed atmosphere and great staff make The Bridge one of Ottawas best place to grab some food and drink.
This restaurant is a fantastic place to grab a bite in a wonderful setting in Ottawa. It is right beside the Rideau river which gives the feel that you are in the countryside. The service is fast and super courteous and the food is excellent. In the summer The Bridge has a street-front BBQ with beer from the cooler. Its a fun place to be in Ottawa!
Love it! Go. Get a drink, sit by the fire pit and watch the traffic pass by along the river pathway.
Love this place....it s one of the best things happening in Ottawa right now. Great menu, fantastic food, super location (patio and back yard dining too after covid lockdowns) on the Rideau River path at Adawe crossing (at the Sports Center). Try the chef s weekly creative 3-course special if you are up for some really amazing sumptuous gourmet eating.
Nice place, really good food. Open to the public.
They are so great here. The love dogs, no issues bringing them on the patio at all! The yam fries and beer are amazing, the sandwich (a turkey and brie panini) needed something more, maybe some red onions or something for some bite!
This place use to be a private club, they recently opened it for the public. This is a great move because there isn t much to chose from around the Overbrook area. The food is great, staff is fun and the price are fair. Play a round of tennis and grab a few drinks afterwards, or the other way around :)
We went to grab a drink and something to eat , the place is beautiful and very relaxing . However I find it way overpriced for what we got . We got the halloumi with jam (first pic) and it was so simple, so hard to mess halloumi and this was not it . The other dish was one of the VEGAN dishes . This was not vegan at all it had regular mayo , and when we asked the server he went to ask the chef and when he came back his answer was It should be vegan . No confirmation whatsoever if the mayo was vegan or not . We discovered it wasn t vegan when we came back home and the person who ordered the dish was sick all night because it clearly had dairy . Lastly the pitcher of sangria , it s 1L and it was 30$ not worth it all. Nothing special, very simple . I ll give two stars because of the view , nice garden and they were cute wild bunnies around. Not a place I ll go back to eat .
Amazing menu selections for all eaters, quality house brew, and impressive safety protocols
The setting is nice, the service is slow. After asking different staff members three times to bring a high chair we went and found one ourselves. Service was genuinely slow with little sense of urgency, food was alright but small portions - especially the tacos. After 2 tacos my wife had to go eat again elsewhere almost immediately after to give you an idea.
I found the food and drinks to be overpriced, and the service to be slow. Food quality is average to below average. The Bridge benefits from having no other restaurants close by to compete with, and they have a lot of room for improvement.
Great atmosphere. Food is a little pricey for what you receive but its ok
Tres bien ! Very spacious inside and a nice terrace to eat outside aussi. Waitress very nice and attentive. Clean bathrooms and larger than standard size which is nice for a change. Could use a side with the tacos instead of just the taco. Cod taco great with hot sauce I added. Ordered some sweet potato fries after taco and was a generous portion.
After more than a dozen visits, I can say that the food has always been very good to excellent, imaginatively prepared and presented and just lovely to eat, so lets be clear about that aspect. The reason for four stars instead of five is the service. On one occasion food congealed on our plates for 10 minutes before I went to the bar to find cutlery and table settings and bring them to our table myself. Recently I had to use up all the facial tissues in my pockets to deal with the collateral fallout from my (delicious!) tacos. When Id finished eating, a server then wandered by and dropped a stack of napkins on my table in case you need them. Duh, now? Once your food is served, you can become invisible. You may need to wave urgently at staff in the distance if you want to pay your bill before you feel hungry again. Okay, thats an exaggeration, but you get the idea. I guess Ill return, just for the food, and then tip 0% and explain why.
Applauds to the chef and the young ladies working their a** off with so many tables. Amazing food. Ordered the steak salad and could cut the steak with my fork! Amazing. Definitely coming back. Stay safe. Support local! Beautiful location!
The service was great however the food was so awful. The nachos were dry, hardly any toppings and the cheese that was on there was hard and not melted. The guac was packaged and not made fresh. I had the buffalo chicken wrap, it was all hot sauce, soaking through the wrap and soggy. To make things worse the wrap didnt come with a side, so I ordered a side of fries for 10$ and received a small portion of frozen fries. The quality and presentation of food was poor and it was very overpriced for what you receive.
Good food and good service. Worth the visit.
A snack on the verandah on a gorgeous Friday afternoon. We had aromatic cups of strong coffee with refills, a chocolate loaf slice, a cup of homemade soup. All were better than average and well priced. I ordered a side of fries and they arrived hot and crisp looking a lovely beautiful golden colour...sad to say they had some sort of light batter which was unexpected so I was unable to eat them not knowing what the batter was made of. My friends tell me they were good. The verandah has radiant heat available and my friend said the restaurant was extensive though I didnt venture inside. The staff was welcoming and efficient. Definitely a spot well return to.
I held a baby shower in the Rideau Room for my sister and I cant express to you what a wonderful time we had. The room itself is beautiful and was set up perfectly by Chelsea and her team. She was so helpful in making sure that we had all of the food, drinks, and information that we needed. She made preparing an absolute breeze - even though I live 5 hours away and had never seen the space in person before - and the afternoon could not have gone any better. All of our guests were raving about what a great time they had! Thank you so much to Chelsea and the staff at The Bridge Public House for helping us to celebrate my sister! It was a perfect afternoon!
The server Duke was excellent. The food is mediocre and not cheap which is a pity because the location is fabulous.
Nice patio overlooking the tennis courts.
Went for a few beers. Very well put and relaxing. You can catch some tennis matches if you sit outside as well. Good and friendly service. Will go back to try the food.
Had dinner on the patio. Good food, good service. Prices are reasonable. I had fish and chips and it was very yummy. Looking forward to returning.
Have come here at least four times in the last couple weeks. Patio dinners are nice and casual (burger is great but skip the fries!) and BBQ lunches on weekends are a hit (great prices for burgers, sausages, and homemade chips!). Service is always friendly too.
Dining outside only, due to Covid. Very friendly service. Excellent meals. Large portions. Good prices.
Great spot.
Casual modern setting with lots of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options on the menu! Only one server that was busy so had to order from the bar and didn t get coffee refills after asking and had to chase down ketchup as the one brought to the table was empty but we weren t in a hurry so wasn t a big issue. Hopefully it gets busy enough they can staff more but menu, setting, food was good and in a part of town where there really aren t other good options.
Good food, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere in a lively athletic/community center.
Very very slow. Waited 2 hours for brunch. Should have walked out and demanded a refund. Dont get the ramen.
Been waiting for our food (like everyone else here) for almost an hour and half. There s been no communication on wait time and we had to pre-pay. I mean it s Sunday brunch and there was 1 - 2 staff.
Great place and atmosphere ! It is a great space to host an event- either a birthday, engagement , etc. Just book in advance!
Breakfast was delicious!
Good food, good prices, and a great location. It s hard to beat their wrap around verandah on a hot day.
Good value for money. Nice look inside and on terrace.
Before I eat what I order, I want to take a moment to address something I feel is very important. This restaurant gives you the impression either you or the restaurant staff are aliens. How they organize the ordering, seating, and food delivery system ........ before entering the restaurant a large sign greets you informing you that you must make all your food and drink selections before taking a seat. However all menus read when you are ready, please place all orders at the bar Each menu item is very complicated but this complexity is dwarfed by the names each dish is given. While I want my baby back baby back baby back ....ribs is somewhat clear Ill stop the world and melt with you leaves a lot to chance. While one could think this system could be circumvented by saying the ribs or the melt when ordering the staff repeat the full name of the meal and ask you to repeat that is what youd like. If you ask for anything off menu for example may I have a club sandwhich this is received in the same manner as if one had asked for a puma in a suit of armour. We agree on what is the closest thing to a club sandwhich After ordering you can take your seat equipped with your giant number on a stick. The remaining minutes of happy hour are announced at regular intervals The background music shifts between classic country and unfamiliar 80s pop music The room is dominated by a large wooden nonfunctional clock whose hands are the same length Instahamable sammy is a menu item (My food is delivered) The fries are more than acceptable. The mayo is not miracle whip. The wrap is consistent in texture and flavour throughout. There are assumably separate ingredients but the flavour is total and singular. It is nothing like a club sandwhich. Behind the bar there is a large picture of a club sandwhich.
Great burgers! Also love that serving sizes are reasonable, not huge, and the prices reflect that
We attended a wedding reception and the facilities were great. Staff and food were exceptional.
Good service
We had our wedding reception at the Bridge and were beyond thrilled with the entire experience. Chelsea coordinated the day for us and made sure everything ran smoothly. Any time we had questions (we had lots of questions) she was quick to reply. Tim met with us to plan the cocktail, dinner, and late night menus. The food was excellent and we had nothing but compliments from our guests. Everything ran on schedule and the service was efficient and professional. No one waited too long for their food and they were able to accommodate many dietary restrictions. We had such a great time and would highly recommend this venue for any event!
Great cocktails, amazing staff, exactly what you want after a game of tennis, or of you just want to relax and watch a game on t.v.
This restaurant, bar and patio are part of the Rideau Sports Centre (RSC). The whole facility was formerly known as the Rideau Tennis Club a private club. The facility has undergone a major renovation and is now operating under the name of RSC. We stopped here to visit and explore the facility as well as enjoy a beer on the patio. There was only one beer on tap but more will be added shortly. There was a good selection of bottled beers. We enjoyed a Kitchissippi IPA at $7 each. The patio is large and overlooks the outdoor tennis courts. There are a number of other outdoor courts and also covered facilities. Although we didnt order food we saw some very attractive plates being delivered This will likely become or hangout as it is very close to our new home.
There needs to be some improvements here. Service is very sad and slow. The food was of very low quality. The general atmosphere was cold and sterile. Nobody in the place. What a great location and what a fun place it could be . Good food is easy and service is essential.
Fun place!
Off to a good start. Some fun food specials, and a fantastic location. Where else can you turn off the bike path in the middle of the city and roll right on to a patio with snacks, beer, ice cream, and sangria? Renovations have come off well, and the multiple patio levels are great fun when its nice out. Would love to see a slightly more broad beer selection (or at least incorporating more of our awesome local beers) and theres definitely room for creativity with the food menu. Whats there now is a good if slightly basic start, hoping for more excitement in the fall. Service is much better now that its order at the bar/start a tab/food comes to your table. The overall facility has been amazingly well transformed. Stop by for a tour of all the great active stuff you can do right in the middle of the city.
