Highly recommended for breakfast/brunch Arabic atmosphere.

Today was our first visit to Tirweka and it wont be our last. The food was amazing, so delicious and a great selection of delights. The staff were lovely, all welcoming and friendly. We really enjoyed our experience and will for sure be returning and recommending to our friends. Thanks so much:)

I tried their lamb shank with rice , it was delicious. Be honest, I did not expect that much from this small place but it was amazing food and friendly staff. If you did not try yet, it is really late. You have to try it now.

Overall the restaurant is very clean and very beautiful. The food even better and succulent definitely recommend to try when you have a chance you will not be disappointed. The hosts are the best very welcoming. If you go, you are definitely going back again.

I traveled a very long distance on Tuesday based on the posted business hours, expecting the restaurant to be open. However, upon arrival, I was disappointed to find it closed with no notice or update online. This was extremely frustrating and disrupted my plans. I strongly suggest the restaurant updates its hours online to prevent others from having the same bad experience.

Found a great hype about this cafe on Instagram by food bloggers but unfortunately we didn t have a good experience. We ordered Cheese Omelet, Meat Hummus and Chicken rolls. Cheese omelet was quite bland and so the Hummus with Meat i can definitely make better at home. The food presentation was meh too, they give us bread in its packing. Ordered diet pepsi too, they didn t give us but charged us which we realized after we left. To be honest, chicken rolls were nice and only thing eatable. The place was 30 mins drive from downtown and it was not worth driving at all sadly.

Fantastic hidden gem in Kanata. The food is freshly done. It is the best falafel I have had in a while. The hummus is light and creamy. We tried the fava beans and loved them. Turkish coffee was a great start, and the tea with mint the best drink to accompany the food. To finish the experience, we were spoiled with an amazing single serving Kunafa ( enough to share) If you want amazing home cooking Middle Eastern food, this is the spot. Honestly, bad food that is overpriced and service is bad. Don t fall for the good reviews. I never leave reviews but the experience I had was just not acceptable. Stale bread during breakfast and way too much oil in the food. Avoid.

Fantastic and friendly service. Food was good, especially the falafel and also the halloumi. Atmosphere was excellent - beautiful restaurant with Canadian made tables and chairs (the chairs were very comfortable). It was quite cold inside so be sure to bring a sweater (even in the summer months). The cuisine in Turkiye varies a lot between regions, so this was a different flavour than I was used to but I still really enjoyed it. I will be returning again!

I am very disappointed in this restaurant their hours say they close at 4pm I walked in at 3:30 And the young man in the front told me sorry we are closed. Do you see why people support bigger food chains like McDonalds and other places and not support this people. Because they do not adapt to the Canadian culture and rules and regulatience if a sign says its closed at 4 how are you closed at 330 you know and then they say support your local restaurants how do you want us to support the local restaurants when they dont even obey by their own rules and Im a 100% sure the manager or someone is going to reach out to me saying we are sorry but you know what you are not sorry this is why As an air of myself we do not get far because of our own people not being civilized and not going by the Canadian culture and regulations and rules so it takes one bad apple to make All the other apples look bad thank you.

Went in for brunch. The wait time matched what was listed on Google Maps for that time frame. We tried the fool, falafel, fried eggs, cheese bread (fatayer), mint tea, and kunafa. Food was tasty; falafel was crunchy on the outside and piping hot/soft on the inside. When we went it was pretty busy and perhaps understaffed at the time. Servers were pleasant and attentive.

Worst costumer service we ever had me and my wife . The server with the curly hair has no respect and manners whatsoever. At the end of our breakfast we had a mug of tea right ! And it was half full still so i asked the guy if he could reheat it for us he says no we can t because it will cost us gas imagine that was his response!!!!! I asked another guy he says no because your tea mug is half empty but i will give you two new hot cups if you want! While i was asking my wife if she wants one the server with the curly hair he was telling this server do not pay them attention ignore them and I heard him because he was saying it in Arabic how rude that was . I wanted to discipline that guy , but I didn t want to make a sene and break the peace of the place. We ordered Knafeh and as soon we ve received it we noticed there was a piece of hair on top of it we informed the servers about it and the lady on the register that owns the place she came and instead of apologising and saying we will make you another one and we will consider it for half price for you no she says our kitchen staff they all wearing Hijab well yeah and from our distance we could see them that their hair were not fully covered like my wife s Hijab was fully covered and we noticed them as soon as we ve had it . In compensation they offered us two cold Baklava we weren t pleased with . I at them while my wife walked away and i paid them in full plus + 10 dollars tip for their incompetent service . So in conclusion never again going back .

Tirweka is a fantastic spot for breakfast if youre into Middle Eastern food. The place has a cozy vibe, and the smell of the food is inviting from the moment you walk in. The breakfast menu is packed with delicious options. I tried their Shakshuka eggs poached in a tasty tomato and pepper sauce. The service was great. The staff were friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. They even gave us some good recommendations on what to try. To finish off, I had the Baklava for dessert. It was sweet, flaky, and a perfect end to the meal. If youre looking for a delicious and satisfying Middle Eastern breakfast, Tirweka is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Can t say enough good things about Tirweka, for someone who is not a fan about making the journey to Kanata, this trip is worth your while. Family owned, unpretentiously situated in a little plaza, cute decoration, and kind service. I m picky about fatteh, and there s is worthy of a visit. Delicious. A highlight for me is the manaeesh (meat pie), oh so delicious. Picturesque food setup. I ve now visited 3-4 times and just love it.

If youre craving an Arabic breakfast, this place is pretty good. My only issue is I wish their menu had more options, but what they do, they do well. Special mention for the meat pie with pomegranate molasses,fried halloum, and their basterma is good. Good Turkish coffee and mint tea also.

The food and drinks here are DELICIOUS. Strongly recommend. We ordered the meat pie and the shakshuka with meat, with a back tea with mint and a cappuccino. Great atmosphere and decor. Filling yet light. You can tell they use quality ingredients. The staff is very friendly as well.

Very tasty and heavy food, makes you dizzy if you eat a lot, our family of 5 loved it. The food was delivered quickly, fresh and the bread was a bit dry, cold and hard to take apart. The rest of the dishes were hot and tasty.

The small profile door in a non-descript strip mall does not prepare you for the pretty flower-laddened interior nor the fun communal eating experience. This is a great way to start your day, sharing platters of delicious Middle Eastern fare. The service was very friendly too. If you are not familiar with this food style, do not be intimidated - tasty and accessible treats await you.

Our book club had our annual summer dinner last night and the meal was from Tirweka. It was amazing!!! We had the Tirweka platters, falafel, halloumi, mint lemonade and dessert . The flavours were outstanding and so special as many had not experienced many of them. I have always enjoyed dining in (loving presentation) but takeout works equally as well! We went on Saturday for brunch and we were able to get a table despite not having any reservations. The atmosphere and decor were nice and the staff were very friendly. The service was quick. The falafel was really good. The kaak veggie pizza was ok lacked taste. And the haloumi sticks were good too. Their pita was not freshly baked.Overall it was a nice dine in experience. Recommended.

I was visiting Canada and went to Tarweka for brunch. The food was so good and fresh. I ended up visiting the restaurant two more times in just five days. The chef is excellent and friendly. I wish we had this restaurant in San Francisco. Don t skip the Falafel.

Went here for brunch with some friends. The decor is quite nice. We were able to get a table despite not having a reservation. We ordered a few things to share - the mosabaha (like hummus, but more chunky) was quite nice. The pitas seemed like they were the same kind you could buy at a grocery store (and not necessarily made in house). The shakshouka was good, although the eggs seemed a tad overdone (weren t as runny as I d hoped). The Tirweka tower was interesting since it had a few ka aks server with an assortment of things including halloumi, zaatar, olives and labneh. I felt that every single dish was overly salty, especially the halloumi. I couldn t eat more than one piece of it. Overall, it was still a decent brunch - especially if you want something different from the traditional eggs/pancakes style. Vegetarian options: They have veggie options such as shakshouka (contains eggs though). Tirweka tower was vegetarian.

Best labanese middle eastern breakfast in town. Flavors will take you to another world

My wife and I discovered this place on Uber Eats and decided to go into the store for a brunch because the pictures online of the restaurant looked amazing! We were extremely impressed with the environment, the service and of course the food! We got the Tirweka tower, and the Eggs with Awerma. The Awerma was cooked perfectly and extremely flavorful! The Kaak and toppings that come with the tower were all great (best Labneh Ive tasted in a while, and zaatar as well!). They also give a plate of fresh veggies on the side which really complimented the meal well! Happy to have discovered this fine establishment, highly recommend to all and cannot wait to go back to try everything else :)

Super cute restaurant! It was our first time trying middle eastern food. Everything was really good! We tried the shakahoka, tirweka tower and the meat pie. You can really taste the homemade cuisine. It s a family own restaurant and they were very friendly. Definitely recommend!!

wanted to visit this place since long time, and when the time comes and after a 30 min drive with an infant baby we went in and the guy told us we need a reservation which we did not have, as no where on their site telling people to reserve before coming, we didn t think about it actually, another guy came and told us sorry they cannot accommodate us as they are busy, we left and took breakfast in another place nearby, and will not return back again.

Well appointed resto, with a selection of dishes not easily going in other middle eastern restaurants. Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options tend to either be small plates or will involve eggs. Parking: The restaurant is in the bend/elbow of the plaza, and can be hard to immediately spot.

Everything was perfect and very authentic. The food, the service, the beautiful presentation of dishes and atmosphere. Recommend getting several dishes and sharing. We ordered loved the Special Labneh dish, the shakshouka and Haloumi.

Lovely oriental atmosphere with tasty Mediterranean dishes right in the middle of Kanata. Its the place to gather that we have all been waiting for.

The pastirma pie was served cold and hard. The other was served good. But the most important part that made me frustrated and gave this review was the tip that I had to pay necessarily. They asked us to pay extra 20% because of service fee and were more than 8 people. My bill was high and they made it higher. That s the first time I hear something like that in a restaurant. I will never come back to this restaurant and I advise you not to go either because they will loot money from you more than ordering food.

I stumbled across upon this gem of a restaurant one morning in my search for coffee and pastries. From outside you only see two doors with signage above. Curiosity prompted me to enter. As I opened the door, I m transported to a beautiful oasis. Music softly fills the air and the decor beckons you in. I was greeted by a smiling, warm woman who gave me a quick tour of the menu. The genuine pride and passion in her voice peaked my desire to come back and try out the food. I ordered myself a Turkish coffee; yum! And picked up some homemade almond cookies and baklava to go. This will NOT be my last visit! A few days later, I returned for breakfast with my husband. We were not disappointed! The presentation and the aromatic taste of the food was excellent! Food sharing is encouraged and makes for a relaxing experience. Everyone you speak to is warm and cheerful. (See the photos below) This little treasure is now on my list of favourite restaurants. My husband and I went for lunch for the first time today and had an amazing experience. The atmosphere is beautiful and very clean. Our server asked if it was our first time and guided us through the menu and made suggestions when we asked. All of the food was delicious! First of all when you walk into the restaurant you see beautiful designs and decoration. The food though was really really good and when you go to eat you cant not order the 2 best things on the menu, Falafel and Shakshouka! I recommend trying it!

- FOOD: Mint lemonade was delicious and refreshing. Fatteh Tahini had fresh ingredients and was amazing. Halloumi pan was also quite good. Generally pretty decent value for quality. - AMBIENCE: Decor was very pretty and modern; instagrammable - SERVICE: quite friendly. Although the one sore point is that we were not advised that the meat had run out until after we made our initial order if we knew this at the moment we initially sat down, we probably would ve left and instead come back another day in order to try our choices (fatteh tahini and shahshoka) with meat

My family and I were visiting from washington DC. Decided to go for breakfast. The restaurant was busy. Other people and I were waiting in line like normal people in any restaurant waiting in line to be seated. Have been waiting about 45 minutes to get my turn. Ended up being told by (She) might be the owner that I have to wait another hour just because we are four adults and one baby. She started taking the next people behind me. I recognized that they knows her and start doing the Arab style on ignoring others ahead of you and she start welcoming them. Long story short, zero out of ten. If you are known you will get seated easy. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY FOR CHEAP SERVICE.

We came for 9:00 am brunch on a Saturday and were the first customers but it was a full restaurant when we left around 1030. The servers were welcoming and explained some of the menu items for our family before ordering. Food was so good. I especially loved the fatteh.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this establishment courtesy of my favourite real estate duo in the city Barb & Carole. Absolutely delicious food, friendly and efficient service and a lovely vibe. Parking: Fantastic location, right in the heart of Kanata.

Good food, but make you are of the right skin colour if you are going in person. Otherwise, youll be asked to move by the gentleman at the counter to make way for someone who has better skin colour than you as per them. We came long from middle east but still not ready to give up the ***** mindset! All the best!

First time visiting Tirweka but was blown away by the whole experience. From the service to the food everything exceeded expectations. The flavour on the fatteh was unbelievable. Will be returning and recommending to friends/family.

We came here for brunch on a rainy Sunday morning. We ordered mint tea, the Tirweka Tower, moushaka, meat pie and kunafa. Our favorites were the kunafa (less sweet and dense than at other places I had but so good that we ordered it twice), the Tirweka tower, the meat pie (nice combination of sweet and salty) and moussaka (comes with bread and vegetables). The food was very fresh and tasty and wed recommend a visit.

Wonderful fresh homemade Middle Eastern food at a good price. Decor was what I imagine it would be like if we were eating in the town square of a small Lebanese village. Owner, cook and waitress was super friendly and engaging. We shared the egg on an excellent bell pepper melange (cant recall the official name) and the something-tower with skinny bagel like bread with sesame seeds and three dips and olives. It was way too much food for two and was delicious from first bite to last. A strong recommend. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian choices. Not much vegan. Dietary restrictions: Not much that is gluten free but chef is willing to adapt and use GF bread if patron brings it

Food is tasteless. Falafel is crunchy but tastes nothing like falafel. Very expensive for the quality of food you get.

Great ambiance and service, which is unfortunate because the food is lifeless and bland. The pies were good, but the foul & fatteh were meh. If such major dishes cant be prepared right, then its a fail for a restaurant that calls itself tirweka. Foul is also not served with chopped tomatoes, and its among the ingredients in the menu, yet it came with chopped tomatoes. Id also expect authentic breakfast restaurants to serve hot bread in stead of cold white bread..

I wanted to try this place for a while and give my hubby the experience of a lebanese breakfast/brunch. Honestly we were both wowed! The service was amazing, we were greeted warmly by the owner! You can see and feel the pride in her business! We ordered a tahini fatteh, Zaatar pie and the Tarwika combo platter and a turkish coffee pot... when the food came, we were wowed by the presentation and then the taste, OMG! YUM!! So fresh and made with so much care, it transported me back home With every bite! Even my husband was speechless! We are so happy we found this gem and are already discussing our next visit!
