Tulip Restaurant, Hilton Garden Hotel Ottawa Delicious!!! Fish and Chips $19.00 beer-battered Canadian hake fillet with harissa spice | pea mint relish | signature tartar sauce | charred lemon | skinny fries tossed in butter and herbs
We had such a great experience eating at Tulip for a private event. It was a party of 14 and everything from the coordination, the ambiance, the food and most especially the management team and everyone involved in serving our food was just incredible. They were so accommodating to the dietary needs and preferences and most of all had such a welcoming and kind personality that just made everyone feel good about being there to celebrate the holidays. I would definitely go back and a huge thank you to Sunny who helped me coordinate it all and ensure its success. Also, props to the chef for such beautiful presentation and delicious food!
We had a fantastic time dining in at the Tulip Restaurant! Our group of 7 enjoyed the delicious pork chops, salmon, pasta, and beef dish. Huge shoutout to the chef for crafting such a mouthwatering menu!
Tonight’s dinner was truly one of the best we’ve experienced in the capital region this year! Our server, Duke, was exceptional, hitting every mark of outstanding customer service to ensure that we had a memorable dining experience. It was also a pleasure to see Sab, another server, visiting our table, which added an extra layer of attentiveness to our evening. It’s clear that this establishment prioritizes teamwork and genuine hospitality. Compliments to the manager, PK. Despite the bustling dinner crowd, he took the time to personally check in on every table, ensuring that no one was lacking anything. His commitment to excellent service was evident, and it made a remarkable difference to our experience. Now, let’s talk about the food. The menu is both diverse and original, showcasing high-quality ingredients and culinary expertise. Each dish we sampled was a testament to the cooks’ skill and creativity, leaving us excited for our next visit:)
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “Tulip Restaurant was an incredible experience that brought back a wave of nostalgia, especially with their French pork chop, which was nothing short of high cuisine. Every bite was exquisite — tender, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. It reminded me of the kind of meals my dad would have loved, where the food itself feels like an art form. The ambiance was warm and elegant, with a touch of charm that made me feel at home. The service was attentive, adding a level of care that made the evening feel extra special. Tulip Restaurant isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a place to create memories. Highly recommended for anyone looking to savor exceptional cuisine with a touch of nostalgia.”
It's a restaurant in the lobby of Hilton Garden Inn, so don't expect much. The food was so so but the service was quick. The pasta dish was extremely salty, so the manager changed it and provided another dish for us which is a good gesture. The burger was fine but the drinks were a regular mix.
Decided to stay in at the Hilton Garden Inn and found the comfy chairs in the Tulip. Started with a classic Manhattan, great single cube. Food took a while to come out, but totally worth the wait! Completely delicious combinations and flavors I have not had before. I had the perogies, which sound simple, but oh my gosh, what an incredible flavour. Beet creme fresh and candied bacon made perfect dough pillows even prettier than they tasted, and they were damn good! I followed up with the coho salmon in an incredible puddle of pea puree and a gentle soup. My friend had the Kari Kari Filipino stew, which was a peanut sauce and chicken delight. The pork chop was perfectly cooked, and the sweet potatoe mash was insane with nuts and mushrooms and asparagus, I wanted more! I didn't order the creme Brule, which was orange and rosemary, but the others did, and wow, it was huge and perfect. I ate most of their's 🤪 I have to say, this is some of the best looking, well displayed, and equally delicious food I have ever eaten in a hotel restaurant. Check the pics. Alex was great at service. Try tonight!
Stayed the night at the hotel and wanted to try this place as it’s rated highly. We ordered a Shirley Temple, a Lavender Lime Soda, parmesan fries, baked sushi, and the Coho dish. The drinks were good, so was the parm fries (comes with this dipping sauce and ketchup). I personally found the sushi bake underwhelming, it lacked a depth in flavour but the plating was cute. The coho salmon was cooked and seasoned well, I liked the herb oil/creamy dashi that it was plated on top of, it went well with the gnocchi. Overall the service was nice, the bartender was very friendly and welcoming, the server was friendly and showed us what the dishes looked like if a table nearby ordered something we were curious about. It is a bit on the pricier end but everything is pleasing to the eye, just missing the “oomph” factor in the flavour of the dishes we tried. I’d be open to trying other items on their menu! If you’re nearby and want a pleasant dining experience that’s a bit more upscale then I’d give them a visit.
Very nice place to enjoy with family workers and friends Liliana Food : 5/5
I had a delightful meal, kudos to the chef. I enjoyed Patrick s company at the bar. All around the food was great, and so was the service. I ll definitely be back when I m in Ottawa!
Great food, good beer and an amazing atmosphere. What could one want more for ending a busy day! Thank you Alex for the hospitality and the outstanding service. Food
Amazing and innovative food. Casual setting, extraordinary bread/butter beginning to meal. Unusual flavour combinations; highly recommend the table d hôte.
Great selection and nice service
Love that the Tulip Restaurant partnered with the Philippine Embassy in Canada for the Filipino Restaurant Month! Enjoyed the dinner which was a three-course meal created by David Vinoya and served us by Josephine Castillo. The appetizer was Kare Kare as Fried Chicken Rice Balls. The main course was Bistek Tagalog. The dessert was Maja Blanca. All of the courses looked and tasted amazing! Proud of the head chef and sous chef for being inspirational Filipinos here in Canada!
I was there to try the featured food in celebration of the Filipino Restaurant Month in Canada. They were not prepared like how Filipinos cook them but they were really delicious and artistically plated. We were served with chicken kare kare balls, beef steak tagalog, and maja blanca. I would highly recommend the place.
Beautifully presented plates with delicious food. Great restaurant. Probably the best crème brûlée I ve ever had.
Excellent service. The take out utensils only had a knife and fork so the server was kind enough to include a metal spoon so I could enjoy my soup. I left the spoon in the room with a note for housekeeping so hopefully it finds its way back to the restaurant. Beautiful decor. Located on the main floor by the reception desk. There are two separate seating rooms. The larger room with more tables was closed off. The other room, where the bar is located has some tables. When I arrived around 6pm there was no open table. Only bar seating was free. I opted to order take out. Menu options are limited. I opted for the daily soup which was potato celery puree since I wasn t very hungry. It was sprinkled with crispy onions which was a nice touch but the soup itself was not to my liking. I could only ate half. The small bun it came with was super hard and not edible. Was staying at the Hilton so it was convenient to get something from here and not have to go out since it was raining at the time. I Would try other dishes if staying here again since I only had tried one item.
Best hotel restaurant Ive ever been in. Service was top tier, cocktails were up to speck, and the staff was knowledgeable. Highly recommend this spot.
Very good restaurant at the Hilton Hotel. The food was delicious and Alex served us. He was incredible, we came back the second night especially because of him! I recommend this place
Foods pretty good, the music however is terrible. Please get Spotify, or Apple Music, or anything but what you currently have. Thanks.
Amazing food and service. You should try frozen flower.
Disappointing for the price. Had steak that was grey, over cooked, and fries from the frozen isle.
Firstly, let me start by saying that the ravioli at Tulip Restaurant is simply divine. The pasta is cooked to perfection and the filling is rich and bursting with flavor. Every bite is like a little piece of heaven. The Duck confit is also a standout dish. The tender and juicy meat is cooked to perfection, with a crispy skin that provides a delightful contrast in texture. The accompanying sauce is rich and flavorful, adding depth and complexity to the dish. And lets not forget about the in-house made Ferrero Rocher! These little treats are the perfect way to end a meal. The combination of creamy hazelnut filling and crunchy chocolate shell is simply irresistible. But what really sets Tulip Restaurant apart is the exceptional service provided by Nicole. She is attentive, friendly, and truly goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest has a wonderful dining experience. Overall, I would highly recommend Tulip Restaurant to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience. The food is superb, the service is exceptional, and Chef David and Nicole truly make you feel like royalty.
I stayed here in Ottowa only for a month and i tried different foods and cuisines but when I tried the food in Tulip restaurant, it was soooo good and satisfying. I cannot compare the quality and the taste of the foods that we had in any other resto. Started with the bread and butter with burnt Maple butter was amazing. Followed with Baked Sushi, Kare Kare and the best of them all is the French Pork Chop! Then, the Vegan dessert is best ever!! You have a well experienced and talented Chef David Vinoya!
Generally when you sit at the bar you can count on quick service, not here. Seating to staff ratio seems fine but the service time to even say hi or give a drink menu was extremely slow. The only reason I stayed is because a friend was staying there and couldnt go too far with his wife/young child upstairs. The parmesan fries were quite poor, maybe grate some real Parm on them and use some fresh herbs to make them flavourful. Multiple draft beers out of stock and seemingly served in random glasses, first time Ive ever had a stout served in such a glass. Also for those that are not drinking alcohol they have not made the effort to stock any non-alcoholic beers.
One of the great restaurant, Coho salmon is very juicy and tasty,,, taste like umami flavour. Kudos to the chefs and server. We will definitely coming back . Thanks Tulip
We dine in with my family and we tried the kare kare, bread and butter, mezamen, vegan sandwich and vegan mousse and i can tell you its interesting flavour. If you are foodie you will definitely appreciate each dishes. Impressive menu offerings and i can tell you this is not typical hotel restaurants.
Incredible. What a great evening, thanks to Brayden and Alex. We had the veggie noodles and the table dhote which had a great scallop entre and the perfect sous vide steak. We wrapped it up with an amazing chocolate pastry. Being stout lovers we also ordered the whitewater stout which played so well with the food we ordered. Brayden and Alex were so warm and courteous that it really made our evening. Thank you!
Its ok, expensive.
Ive been staying at the Hilton Garden Inn for the last 3 years roughly every 3 to 5 months. I regularly dine there for dinners during my stay, I just came back after not being there since December to find out a young woman was fired for standing up for herself, but the staff member who informed me, said they think she was fired because she was pregnant, and there was some bias with the new managers. She was my favorite waitress and am extremely disappointed they would let someone go whom always made me feel so welcomed, and genuinely was the best service I had received. I find the place to be poorly managed and everyone seems quite scattered. The regular servers that are still there are great, but management seems extremely POOR, and I tend not to continue supporting places where I feel someone didnt deserve the treatment they got. ( her fellow staff member informed me the hardship she faced when she was dismissed, and how they had zero regard for what happened on her end) after three years of supporting this restaurant and hotel, I will not be returning and Ill be sure to tell my fellow employees of my new go to spot. SORRY HILTON AND TULIP RESTAURANT, TREAT YOUR EMPLOYEES FAIRLY. TA TA
I will be back for sure thanks!
Ive dined at this restaurant and I can confidently say they serve the best burger in town! Their alio oil pasta and salads are also fantastic. The chefs creativity shines through in every dish, and the amount of work and attention put into each plate is truly remarkable. It feels more like a fine dining experience rather than just a hotel restaurant. The service is top-notch as well. I highly recommend this restaurant!
I didnt realize the restaurant was inside a hotel when I made the reservation - not a big fan of those but was quite impressed. A coworker and I went for lunch. I had the Caesar salad with a Shirley Temple. My co-worker had the club sandwich. Not disappointed at all. The environment was cozy and not too busy.
I had a burger and it was very delicious
Nice sit down restaurant if you re staying at the hotel. Prices are around average or slightly higher depending on what you order. The club sandwich was really good! Steak was decent. Salmon a little on the small side, but presentation was fancy. If I stay here again, I d consider eating here again.
Not so good. Empty bfast and I was sat beside the door to kitchen. Food was bland. Not a good value. Food : 2/5
We stayed at the Hilton Hotel including a buffet breakfast. The dining room does not have a wide variety of food I was missing salmon, I was missing types of fruit (you can put more thought into the meal) Overall it was fine.
Professional
Amazing food, vibe and service.. A must visit.. Food
The food is amazing and completely experimental. I love the unique flavours that accompany every single dish and the presentation is spectacular. It has been one of the best restaurant experiences I ve ever had and some of the best food as well. I d give it five stars for every aspect. Unfortunately after coming back a year later and seeing that the menu has been reworked, I would lower my rating drastically (maybe by two stars or so). It has become so much less experimental and the unique flavours are few and far between. The menu is cluttered with basic items such as steak and fries which has replaced some of the most unique menu choices I ve seen at a restaurant. The old steak I got a year ago is no longer available and it was honestly one of the best I ve ever had with its unique flavours and presentation. I hope they bring back some of the unique menu items that have almost completely disappeared from this restaurant. The food is still good but it s not as good as it was nor as special. Why go here if it s not to different from other chain restaurants of its type? The head chef is awesome, other staff like management or what not, not to sure. I don t know who runs the place but they seem to be new management and very bad at it. Reviews and conversations lead me to believe that the new management is disgusting and I honestly hope this place can get things together.
Excellent staff, great service, took good care of us.
Chicken was not cooked so big turn off ...you know food safe. So I cannot recommend this place. We ate at another hotel restaurant...it was pretty good there. Sad situation for Tulip! Food
Never been to a hotel restaurant in Ottawa that was exceptionally the opposite of a stereo typical hotel restaurant. Incredible service by Mr. Patrick who was the majority of the experience. I will be back solely for his side table service and engagement, so engaging and funny and knows the menu back to from and upside down and recommended amazing wine. I will be back and will recommend to everyone. Great job everyone.
They French fries are pretty amazing
An excellent vibe, and one of the most sought after spots in Ottawa. Staff that care and delicious freshly made fare add to the pleasure of securing a spot in this place. We tried crispy chicken burger, beef cheek, kare kare and it was divine. Try it for yourself and you will thank me later. Food
It was overpriced and not a lot of options. I am gluten-free and try to eat low carb. There were almost no choices.
Relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. Great selection of tasty menu items and desserts. One of the best nachos tasted!
Nice staff, but overpriced tiny portions drenched in creamy sauces or oil.
Had a great experience. Liz is a great server, very polite and accommodating. Highly recommend!
Great wait staff, food bleh
Ordered room service from Tulip last week. Great food, great prices, and fast service! Would definitely order from here again.
Amazing food. Ordered room service while staying at the Hilton ! The clubhouse sandwich&fries, kettle soup, pandesal were all delicious. Also had the lavender lime soda, and some desserts!
Quality of food was excellent. Staff were efficient and friendly.
We ordered Sushi, Quinoa burger, and Noodles. Everything was Amazing. The Quinoa burger patty was out of the world.
Great cocktails, service and the rainbow trout is to die for.
I ordered Standard(burger),my friend ordered Lyon bite. Both are tasty.I wanna try pasta next time.Highly recommended!!!
Food and service was excellent!
Delicious food, great service, very funny and kind staff.
I went here with three friends on a Friday night. The special was fish and chips ($20.00) It was clearly not prepared in house but rather frozen. It was underwhelming but palatable. The next night we went back . I ordered the Standard burger and when I first took a bite I had to spit it out as the taste and smell of ROTTON beef was overwhelming. My friends commented that it smelt like garbage. I brought this to our servers attention and asked her quietly to please take it back and bring me the other burger they offer so I would not get the same meat again. She was pleasant and replaced my order with the Portagagess burger. it did not smell but I did not care for the taste of the beef and pork mixture. I only and two bites and the serving of fries ( they were good). I explained, again quietly, to the server that I did not enjoy the food at all and asked my meal to be comped as I only was able to eat about 20% of the second burger. She left and then our table was mobbed by two Managers , one man and one woman. I explained to them the situation and asked that my meal be comped . He (Emmanuel) was condescending and tiring to negotiate a lower discount. After several minutes his co-manager (female, forget her name) said just give it it to him. Our table spent over $100.00 for three meals. I thanked the server for her good service and our table left her a good gratuity. WONT EVER GO BACK. PS Caleb on the front desk was really helpful and friendly. Very good customer service skills for a young man .
Good food but overpriced for what you got. I was expecting something with a little more wow.
Great meal for lunch. I had the fried chicken burger. Attentive service.
Waited in the front desk for 5 minutes. No more customers except me, they saw me that waiting but no one asked me to come in!
Awesome service! Nate, the bartender took excellent care of me, was kind, fun and great at mixing cocktails.
Good food at reasonable prices
The food was superb and the ambience is cozy and relaxing. The food presentation is astounding and the servers is accommodating.
Resealable prices and very good service
Great appetizer and pasta! Best value and atmosphere. Will defined return.
Themost discusting ceaser salad I ever had it was shredded iceberg lettuce and I dont know if they know what ceaser dressing bacon and croutons are but that wasnt it
Frist information: This restaurant is located in the Hilton Hotel because we searched a little bit for it. Thank you for the nice evening. We enjoyed it so much. The food was yummy, the sevice was perfect.
I am here for a far Number of days. Tonight I ordered the carbonara. Bucatini cooked week - sauce non existent. It was puddle of butter with cheese on top - no flavour, no salt, and the kale was tough. Save yourself a bill and go elsewhere
Best restaurant in Ontario This place is amazing! Chef is genius !!! Flavors are incredible!!! Everything we have tried!!!AMAZING!!! We live in Niagara Falls, went there for a family trip! Second year in the row we return to the same place! Every day! Food is the best! Atmosphere is amazing!!!! Thank you
Quite place. Nice food. Nice service. Enjoyed spicy chicken. Staff is polite. Ample paid parking place available near by. Kids enjoyed a lot. Ambiance is owsome. I went here when on business trip. I would recommend anybody to try it once.
Fantastic and attentive service and simple menu options offer the customer an opportunity to eat great food choices. Excellent bar service as well provide an array of delicious cocktails while watching the game on the big screens. Great for the entire family. Cozy atmosphere with large couch like eating or more conventional seating arrangements give it a more laid back feeling.
I had the breakfast buffet here, which I unfortunately found not too good. The selections available were rather limited for a buffet, and some of the flavours could be a bit better. I was in a bit of a hurry to eat, and didnt wait before heading off to get food. My server was kind enough to bring me coffee, milk, and sugar during this time, which he didnt make me drink if I didnt want to. It was honestly such a nice gesture that caught me by surprise. I wouldnt come back for breakfast again, but would consider trying their dinner menu.
The food was amazing and beautifully presented! Everything tasted so good and cooked to perfection. We were 2 adults and 2 kids and we tried the honey garlic wings, the pandesal garlic bread, longganisa focaccia burger, cream of parsnip soup, polenta fries and the fried chicken burger on a mysterious black bun. Had a delightful lavender lime soda too. The creme brule was perfection and the service was impeccable. I cant wait to go back but it will be so difficult to decide whether to try new items on the menu or reorder exactly what we had because it was that good.
They had a lot of rules and not to flexible
The worst hotel breakfast buffet that we have been to. The food that is supposed to be hot is all cold. The food is of cheap quality and not good. The buffet kept running out of food like you would experience at a hotel in Cuba. If the buffet is included in your stay for free, it would be okay. We paid $19 per person, what a rip off. Staff is friendly and the decor is nice which are the only positives. We will not return. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Love it, gluten free options and reasonable prices, the service is above and beyond
Loved everything, im a huge foodie and i will definitely come back + recommend this place! Thank you for the great service!
Tulip Restaurant exceeded my expectations. Ive had underwhelming experiences at a couple other hotel restaurants but this was certainly not the case here. Staff were all incredibly welcoming & accommodating. It was nice to be greeted by a manager to be seated. Our waiter was friendly & checked in on us periodically, which was appreciated. We ordered the steak frite & orange creme brulee. Both of which were absolutely delicious. The restaurant was gorgeous & ambiance was really nice. Aside from some obnoxious hotel guests sitting behind us, we really enjoyed our experience & look forward to coming back.
Good restaurant, waiter did a nice job.
We ordered room service from Tulip while staying at the Hilton. The deciding factors were: the prices were lower than some of the other restaurants nearby and they were open while others were closed; but it should have been the food. We got burgers with fries. My wife got the Standard Burger (which I finished) and I got the Firebird. Both were a great size, well cooked, seasoned and topped and melted in our mouths. These burgers were delicious. The fries were crunchy and well seasoned. The dish was a generous size and very delicious!
We absolutely love it here! Tulip has quickly become one of our fave date night spots. The service is always incredible & the food is always ridiculously flavourful. We
Its a good place
The food is amazing. The girl who served us was so nice but the other waiter ( guy ) was a little rude to welcome us at the patio
Food: delicious, service: fantastic, price: very affordable
Very nice restaurant in a hotel. They have a patio, even during winter. Food is great and at good prices. They have a special menu with offers per day, and the most affordable is the pizza which is ultra cheap and good, the only downside is that it changes every time so there is no guarantee you will get your favorite. They do tell you which one is available before you order, so no surprises. Regular menu items are also well priced given quality.
I loved the food and the attention
Omg I cannot express how amazing this place and food is I did not realize that this restaurant was in a hotel, thinking it was fine dining we got all dressed up and the other guests were not so we felt a bit out of place. In any event the atmosphere is definitely nice and they did a good job in ensuring space between tables. The chairs are comfy and the esthetics are really pretty. The food was absolutely amazing. The chef did a job well done. It was so good we were so close to ask if we can speak to the chef and personally tell him ourselves lol Their poutine was the best poutine we ever tried. It was gourmet. I was not ready for that. Their chicken wings were beautifully done. The peach sangria was amazing. The salmon over the asparagus and black peas with that green sauce was everything. Surprisingly good. Not what we had expected. Definitely recommend this spot for sure. Server was also friendly and we felt she should have warned us about the food because we had no idea LOL
Goor food good price
What a perfect end to a day! Exceptional value for a fine dining experience. For the price I was pleasantly surprised at how big of a portion we got. We werent rushed through our meal. Overall this was one of our best meal experiences since arriving in eastern Canada. If I lived near here Id definitely be a repeat customer!
We stayed at the Hilton Hotel and wanted a nice dinner. We left the hotel and walked for almost an hour, almost every restaurant had the take out mark, so we came back to the hotel to find that it had an excellent restaurant. The food is really excellent, the service is great so dont bother looking for this restaurant is super good. Lunch in the morning is still good in times of pandemic even if there is a lack of staff to prepare anything else that we found before covid. This is something that shocks me since covid everything costs more and we don t get less for our money.
Great service and food
Great staff, good cheap food, decent selection of draft.
I think it s overrated. Cesar salad was not good, how did you do it? Do not recommend, unless you just want some drink before you go
The Chef is wonderful and he made good Vegan and Vegetarian dishes. There were plenty of options for us in at the buffet. The staff is helpful and friendly. This restaurant is located inside the Hilton Garden Hill Hotel in downtown Ottawa. I will defiantly recommend this restaurant to family and friends. Thank you team for a good experience.
Had yet another great meal at Tulip in the Hilton Garden Inn DOWNTOWN Ottawa. The chef is innovative and the presentation is always impeccable. Ive loved everything Ive ever eaten here This time we tried a Pilipino dish (not sure the name) but it was an entire ham hock, cooked to perfection with crispy crackling and juicy meat. Paired with Asian slaw on housemade Bao. Incredible! The Choke Cherry ribs are also amazing.
I stayed at the Hilton hotel, the waiter is nice and the pasta is very good. I recommend
The food and service was excellent as well as the ambiance of the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this restaurant specially in downtown Ottawa.
Food was delicious. Had a breaded chicken brest on a black bunny with fries. Was really filling and tasted amazing.
Ask them to make you some pork ribs muuu my oooh my yummy
The customer service isnt great and is disorganized
My third time dining at this restaurant. They have the best burger in town!! I also love their alio oil pasta and salads. The chef is very creative and the amount of work and attention they put into each dish is just incredible. It doesn t feel like you re just dining at a hotel restaurant but it feels closer to fine dining. Their service is also very good. Definitely recommend this restaurant!
very disappointing- they dont even have the coloured eggs that they feature on their site. Just ate there and the service was slow and the food was disappointing compared to what they feature online. The decor itself is very cute.
Very good menu selection, excellent food and reasonable prices all in a friendly environment.
Great service and bar staff
Words can not express how stunningly amazing this restaurant is. From the moment you walk in to this newly renovated Hilton hotel lobby, Tulip screams come in and enjoy a relaxing new experience. This elegant, yet casual space will let you dine in luxury, without the luxurious price tag usually associated with an experience such as this. Each dish is custom created for the season by head chef David, with a variety of vegetarian, gluten free, as well the meatiest of options. David shows his true and sheer passion for his culinary art. He is among the most sincere and humble individuals Ive come across and cares about your experience at this restaurant. This is a MUST try for anyone local in the Ottawa area as well as travellers from abroad. Please dont take my word for it, come and try it for yourself, you will not be disappointed. follow @foodieeh on Instagram for more exciting food adventures, and recommendations!
The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the Hilton Garden Inn Ottawa. There is plenty of seating. This is a continental breakfast and not an upscale lunch like in some Hiltons (e.g. Hilton Quebec). Food was fresh, missing several things towards the end. The place is very noisy because of the acoustics in the floor and ceiling. The staff is very polite and the welcome is excellent. The first coffee was served promptly upon arrival, but we had to wait and ask for a second coffee. It must be said that the restaurant exceeded its full capacity on the morning of January 1st. It is a shame that Hilton decided to close the buffet at 10 a.m. in the other hotels on the morning of January 1st and on Sunday lunch is served later. The buffet has a major flaw: the toasting of the bread is at the very beginning of the buffet and causes traffic jams. The order in which the foods would therefore need to be reviewed. When booking, we paid $40 more for the lunch package for 2 people. The next time we stay, we are not thinking of taking the Hilton breakfast package, we will instead go to lunch for the same price in one of the neighboring hotels which offers a better lunch at the same price ($20 per person).
One of the best hotel restaurants I have been in
A very nice place, certainly not cheap, but not an unreasonable value proposition. I had one of the flat breads, which was quite nice, more so than I expected. A nice place for a work lunch.
Beautiful restaurant and excellent service
The atmosphere was nice. The food was good but not what we were expecting based on how dishes are advertised online (dish presentation was underwhelming). I ordered veg pasta with no mushrooms and it came out with mushrooms. We ordered the Bombay gin cocktail three times and each time it came out in a different sized glass. Otherwise it was a great experience and our server was attentive and brought us a special dessert for our anniversary.
Food was terrible. I expressed that to the waiter and he told me to listen to the servers recommendations next time you go out since I didnt order what he recommended. Wont be going again.
Delicious soups and food presentation is gorgeous. Great atmosphere
Had our Valentine s Day dinner and the entire 4 course dinner was lovely. The chef personally came and thanked us and checked on the quality of food.
I came here for the Valentines Day special for the 4 course dinner and 1 night stay package and my entire night went so well. First off, the room was SQUEAKY clean and so elegant inside. This is a very beautifully decorated hotel. The staff is super friendly also! We went to the dinner expecting very small portions since the price was so great. HOWEVER, the meals were normal size and actually tasted amazing!!! Who knew squid ink and frozen rose petals could look so pretty! Chef David even came out to meet us! I have never seen food so well decorated and taste so amazing at the same time. Chef David is such a creative genius. I will never forget my Valentines night because of him. Thank you!
Invited my parents for lunch and was very disappointed. Left/ msg to make a reservation and never received call back. Only 1 server was presented who has no idea what she is doing. Food was not the greatest and cold. I would not come back
Social hour starts 5~7 Mondays to Thursdays, where hitel guests get a tasting sampler. Bar is usually packed but cheerful crowd is always a plus
New restaurant in renovated hotel. The steak was delicious, unusual and inspiring. The service was also excellent
Fairly priced and portioned.
Quality made interior with nice planning of room. Very professional and friendly personnel. I was impressed delicious and quality food of a breakfast. Overall I had awesome time.
Really enjoy this restaurant. When staying at the homewood you get a social special between 5 to 7 from monday to thursday. That include 3 small beers and 3 smalls plates.
The restaurant has breakfast and lunch-dinner sections I ate dinner here, great vegetarian/vegan and carnivores options Very interesting and creative menu
Slow breakfast service. We ordered veg egg benedict and crab cake egg benedict and they were super expensive with mediocre taste. However, we liked the creativity of the dish presentation.
