A VERY small Subway but still good!

I eat vegetarian and I ended up full.

Abeshake was beyond amazing. His speed, politeness, and sense of urgency is amazing.

Staff member was too much rude they don t have manner to how to talk with customers.. on Canada Day 1 July at 9:20 pm there was one lady she talks to me in a rude way

Went to pay and was asked if a paper $5 bill was american money it was obviously canadian, then accused of having fake money,then told they might not be able to accept it and I need to take it to a bank even tho I got it from the bank.at which point 3 staff members were involved they accepted it.theres still paper money in circulation,idk how someone working a cash hasnt seen a paper bill before.up to around 2004/5 we had paper before the plastic bills.employees were rude to me then rude to another customer about his drink refill which turned into a shouting match between the staff and customer.they were also rude and confrontational to someone who was trying to use the washroom.the food was overpriced and a little skimpy on toppings but thats subway for you these days.food tasted fine,but this place wasnt a present experience.

Edit: I am going to update my review as I have given this place a chance again. Food and service are now 4 star as the service has greatly improved. Atmosphere is a 3 as its small subway but that cannot be helped! Been back a few times since. Good work!!! Food : 4/5

Excellent restaurant for a quick meal. The staff is very professional, dedicated and fast. The subs are prepared with care and are delicious. As this is a restaurant located in the city center, there is a very good chance that lunchtime will be very busy. Be patient if you get to this point! If you plan to eat on site, please note that there are only three tables (seating six) available. The place being small, there is no more space to add seats. Highly Recommended! Vegetarian options: Subway offers a range of meals for vegetarians. Parking: There is no dedicated parking, you must park on the street, where there is space.

It s been a few times now I go at this location it shows on door open till 10pm and it s 9pm and employee has door already locked not letting anyone in it and there s no sign saying they re closing earlier this is insane locking doors 1h BEFORE closing time. please respect closing time or change the hours on your door if you intend closing at 9 daily instead of 10

They are making their bread smaller. Also, they are putting less vegetables on subs. I think they have new owners. This location used to be great I would come like 5 times per week but I am going to stop now and go to another location.

No response when I say hello :( Gave such a little amount of chicken.. charge $0.25 for the paper bag for the sandwich, do not provide water. At the end the price of my sandwich was $15. The sandwich was decent.

I fell off the step outside of the door and fractured my ankle...the food is good, its Subway.. otherwise be very careful going in and out as the property owner refuses to mark the step.

Worst service ever. I worked at subway and I know how the stuff works. When I went to have subway here, there was no greeting and the staff was rude as in I asked for sauces and the staff was putting so less amount of it. In the rice bowl they only put one scope of rice whereas it should be three scopes. I told them to heat my sandwich and then grill it afterwards but they kept on insisting me on toasting the sandwich. I asked for crispy onion and they only put 1/4 of the scope and when I said put more the staff said they only put one scope of crispy onion per sandwich. It was better for me to stay hungry than to go to such a subway which has staff which is not even sincere towards the work they do.

Slow, like really slow. There was only one person working at the time and I expected a bit of slowness because of that but it took like 20 minutes for them to make like 5 subs. Ive been to other subways on days when there is only one person working and they were still almost twice as fast. The food itself was fine. I marked a bit lower on atmosphere mostly because of the layout, its a very long narrow space that feels claustrophobic but if you take the food to go I guess thats fine.

Very small location, but selection was the same as any other Subway. One of the only quick eat restaurants in the area and open until 10pm. The girl working was friendly and everything was done correctly.

Had a cold cut combo with bacon on Italian and I really enjoyed it. Great location near Line 1 and good staff.

The best service at a subway weve seen in a long time. We dont know the girls name, she was by herself and was very attentious and helpful. She put the sandwiches together so carefully they looked so much yummier!

Feel bad asking for veg that is seldom replaced.

The lady with the black hair who is there at closing is just phenomenal. She makes a sturdy sandwich considering the amount of ranch I ask for. I do wish there would be cucumbers. The last three times iv gone, there have been no cucumbers. But I do come within the last hour of operations due to my break timings of work near by, and that lady is always happy to make me a sandwhich. Quick and efficient, but she dosent make me feel like shes rushing me.

The staff are friendly and precise with their sandwich making skills but they are quite slow and I have never ever seen any of them wash their hands before making food unless I have asked. They frequently cash someone off with their gloves on then just put on a new pair. I managed two Subway locations in Ottawa and this is totally unacceptable. And on top of that we are still dealing with a pandemic. Wash you hands guys! Customers should not have to ask you to do this. It is part of your job.

Very good place to get you some sandwich while waiting for your bus

Nothing against the staff here, but the franchise owner appears to have instituted a limit on the number of vegetables you can have, apparently I could not have more than 4 different kinds of veggies on my foot long sub. It seems very petty to me and the poor staff are going to inevitably take the brunt of complaints

Very friendly gentleman taking our order today. My keto salad was made to perfection with dressings on the side, much appreciated.

Small location but is pretty typical for a Subway in the way of services. Soda fountain appears to be different from the ones I usually see at other locations but still has the customizable flavour options. Appeared clean so all round, not bad

Always fresh and staff are very polite. The location is small but it makes due.

Subway is an international chain, this location stands out because of the owners and team that work there... They are a great group that cares about their customers, always making sure you have a great meal. If you are downtown Ottawa, I would pick this Subway over other locations.

There is usually no crowd. The staffs aren t friendly either. Not an comforts place to sit and eat. For take away this place is good. Stingy toppings.

I visited the store at 9: 45pm, and the store closes at 11 pm. They were out of almost everything. And the way the way i was treated for comming in at 9:45 pm was embrassing, and when i asked why am i treated this way the lady says she had been working from 06:00 am, (thats almost 17 hours of work) and she is tired. ( thats acceptable, everyone has bad days and today was for her). But if you want to run the store and attract more satisfied permanent customers, get a better customer service (at least change the shifts of the workers so they work efficiently). She was so tired that she didnt took efforts to close my wrap properly.

16 Oct 2018 at 2.05pm. Idk the name of the guy there, but he acted like he owned the store or he had shares in the company or something! Brown dide wesring glasses and poorly shaved. Stingy on the cheese in a grilled cheese sandwich and giving people a hard time about adding a few leaves of spinach and some onions telling me other subways dont do it when just last week I added more toppings at the same restaurant! Next time give the sandwhich to your mother buddy. I wouldnt give it even a star.

It is a small Subway location, but the staff were very friendly, and we love their sandwiches, especially when they are fresh.

Not bad, food quality is pretty standard, though the layout is pretty cramped and staff isnt particularly friendly. Nothing special but alright if you want some Subway.

I work across the street from this subway but I walk a block further to another subway. Extremely stingy on the toppings, the workers and owner look miserable. They never give me the receipts so I can fill out the survey like ALL OTHER SUBWAYS DO. Avoid this place, just walk a little further and there will be a better one.

The worse subway i visited in my life. Employees dont wanna work never reply, worst sandwich. They should teach how to say hi rude employee specially morning guy with spects.

Service is WAY to slow. Took up most of my lunch break. One guys took almost a whole minute to get my bread and slice up one slice of deli meat. NEVER AGAIN!!! Not a friendly atmosphere. Everyone looked miserable

Regular Subway fare. Small 2-people tables. Today, no ice, nor cold pop out of fountain machine.

I get there around 8 pm place is quite, the employee comes dragging himself from inside what I suppose is the kitchen, I literally take 3 seconds to look up at the menu and the guy gives me a look that says make up your mind fast, moron! I ask for footlong then I change my mind and I order 6 inches, this time he gives me the look that says dont you dare do this again I apologize for his inconvenience having to switch the bread! he rushes me through toppings and it seems like every item I add to my sandwich pisses him off even more. He wraps my sandwich super fast impatiently (I appreciate fast but not being impatient) slams it over the counter, hands me my change and shoots back to the kitchen.

Good food, quick

Ive had nothing but good experiences at this subway. The staff is SUPER friendly and very helpful... with the exception of that one guy who cant seem to remember orders well at all. the lineups get really long for this location during the lunch hour rush, so you might need to run over the the subway on sparks street (who, by the way, have dumpling soup chowder or whatever that ive never seen at any other subway before). ive also noticed non-customers abuse the bathrooms at this location. staff usually does nothing, but theyre only 1 person on shift usually against 4-5 idiots, so i dont blame them.

Do you enjoy having to repeat your order multiple times and still get the order wrong, having to question whether you are deaf or not? Do you enjoy stale ingredients compared to other subways just a block down? Do you enjoy lost employees who look like have their soul taken away by a demonic god from working at this location? I get more greetings from the poor homeless person sitting outside this place than I do by the sandwich maker here. Do you enjoy having to repeatedly ask for more ingredients because the so called sandwich artist didnt put enough. Do you like to feel like Oliver Twist asking may I have some more Well this is the place for you!

Door says open until 11:30pm, locked with the lights on and the open sign on with no one in sight.

Same as can be expected anywhere, but the staff is fast and friendly. Dont let the long line ups at lunch keep you away, they move really fast in there.
