Nice place to socialize The staff were friendly and efficient. Beer selection was meh! I didnt eat but everyone who did liked the food. I enjoyed the evening but in the end it was a dimly lit bar not a lot more.

I went for a friends going away party and the venue was cosy, and the setup was a bit strange in the layout for a large group. The staff was very nice and attentive. The food wasnt so great. The pork belly was extremely salty and when I asked what the pork belly dish was the waiter described it as braised pork belly and can be served over rice. I assumed there would be rice but nope it was served over sauce. The roasted brussel sprouts were alright. But definitely not worth it.

Ive been here a number of times and its become a favourite place to stop at in the city. Their small plates are delicious (personal favourites include the spicy peanut drumsticks, gnocchi, and halloumi with berry sauce). Theres always a great selection of beers - I enjoy when they bring in an occasional smoothie beer into the rotation.

What happened with the shrimp and coconut milk? I haven t had it in a few months but it went from wonderful savoury coconut milk, herbs and chilli flakes, to underwhelming Thai curry sauce. What a disappointment.

Love the ambience of this place! its super lively with lots of chatting and lofi lights- shout out for the Henricks Gin table lights. They also have a small selections of games. The food is flavourfully- its not your typical pub food which I was nervous about. We had the Prawns, Crispy Tofu (MUST), Beef and cucumber salad among three of us which was filling. We paired our meal with cocktails- The cucumber seltzer which was light and refreshing. Highly recommend a visit if youre looking to hang out with friends!

Incomprehensibly, they have a list of gins an entire page long, and ONE tonic - Canada dry! What on earth are they thinking? The gin and tonic was pretty grim because if that - served in a rocks glass, too many small ice cubes melting too fast. Other cocktails my friends had were passable, bit not great. Food was delicious. Prices quickly mounted up though, a pre dinner snack of 2 cocktails each and several shared small plates of food quickly became $250 for 4 including tip! An okay experience, tonic aside, but with a hefty price tag for an ambiance more like a pub or games room and loud music.

Truly a hidden gem and totally under-rated best value dining experiences in Ottawa. Weve been here several times and continue to come back as we are continually impressed with the creative and tasty dishes and cocktails that are all reasonably priced and the relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend!

One of my go-to spots in Ottawa for a cocktail and a snack, or to take visitors I can always count on the drinks, food, and service to be solid. Brussels sprouts are to die for, and Im also a fan of the gnocchi supreme, halloumi, crispy kimchi tofu, and Things on Toast! I have yet to be truly disappointed by anything on the menu. If youre looking for a cocktail thats slightly out of the ordinary, I highly recommend the peanut butter old fashioned :) Vegetarian options: Plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance and washrooms are not wheelchair accessible

Went there for drinks and dinner after work. We were a large-ish group and we had a great spot to sit everyone together. They had a very extensive gin menu and the food was delicious! The service was great. Theres nothing but street parking available, but it is located conveniently near the highway. Parking: Street parking only, but its close to the highway

One of my favourite local places for food, drinks, and vibes. And now I can confidently say that it s also one of the best places in Ottawa for a private event. We recently booked the whole place for a baby shower, and I m still getting DMs from friends and family about how nice the staff were and how great the food was (especially the deviled eggs and coconut shrimp ). Ian and his team made the whole thing seem effortless. Can t recommend this place enough, whether you re stopping in for a quick cocktail or planning a party!

Mixed feelings about my recent experience. To start with the positive, the gin cocktails were great and the selection impressive. Only good things to say about the drinks. Staff was attentive and friendly too. The food, not as much. Some dishes were nice (octopus/tuna), but others super underwhelming (duck). It s hard to justify $15-18 for a sharing plate the size of an appetizer when you d need 3-4 to make a full meal for one person.

Probably one of my new favourite bars in Ottawa. We kind of stumbled upon this place one night but we were so impressed. Service was amazing and the drinks were so good! Their happy hour is a great deal and their on tap cocktails are delicious. Definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Amazing drink menu and great food!

One of our favorite places for an evening out with friends. Lots of choices for tasting different gin drinks but we often just enjoy their gin cocktail on tap, a unique taste every time. And sharing dishes is easy. All are tasty and unique - the chef even makes brussel sprouts taste great!

Fantastic food. I m obsessed with the gnocchi supreme they make. The halloumi is also an all time great. And they ve currently got this brisket stew dish that was insaaane. Yeah this review is just me shouting out what I ate this past Friday night but I seriously love this place. Go eat here! And get the Pretoria pineapple mule cocktail. My only complaint is one shared with pretty much everywhere these days: why does the music have to be so gosh darn loud!? Being able to hear the people from across the table would be nice :)

My friend and I sat at the bar and shared 6 snacks on a Friday night. Every snack was delicious and I cant wait to go back. Food and drinks came promptly and the bar tender was a sweetheart delight. The cocktails were great. We were originally seated at the high top chairs but found those uncomfortable. Def recommend the bar seating! Awesome atmosphere.

First time in today- it had been on our list of places to try! My boyfriend and I ordered the crispy tofu, ribs and beef bulgogi, all very yummy! This is small plates menu, prices are reasonable and cocktails are yummy! Would recommend.

A great hidden gem in the Glebe. Small curated selection of great food, local beers and cocktails. An easy choice for a date night or hang out with friends. Highly recommend.

This place was a hit for me and my friend on a relaxed Monday night. Really enjoyed the plates we ordered, notable favourites were the gnocchi and crispy tofu. Service was quick and friendly. Great cocktail menu as well.

Finally had the opportunity to visit this establishment last weekend. The food and drink menus are very cool. We just enjoyed some fantastic gin cocktails this visit but will be back to try out the food menu!

Lovely addition to the neighborhood, friendly service, creative and well-executed dishes, reasonable prices. There are no shortage of mediocre places in this area, and luckily this place stands out from the crowd. Absolutely worth checking out if youre in the area and havent been.

Interesting and varied offerings meant to be shared tapas-style. There was a clear intent to incorporate food from various cultures and there were hits and misses. Every dish came overly garnished in a way that appeared messy and without effort. The service was standard and drinks were average. My favourite dishes of the evening were the Brussels sprouts and halloumi. The cheesecake was tasty and comes in a cute little container-- the perfect serving size for one person. The meat dishes did not impress me whatsoever, particularly the steak and pork belly.

Great gin options and the food is generally good. I would advise that the regular menu options are great. However, I tried your friend rice which was a recent addition, it was soggy rice and very oily. The flavours were good, the texture and oiliness, not so much.

My new favorite!!! Im a 90s kid absolutely loved the little pops of nostalgia the place had but still appealing to everyone. Just has an overall good vibe and atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive. If gin is your thing this is the place for you! That said they still have everything you could want drink-wise. Food was just delicious and fresh. My favorite was the halloumi & walking taco. Highly recommend this place!

Best late night snacks ever

had a lovely pineapple mule & sharing plates at the window. loved all 4 plates of potatas bravas, blueberry basil halloumi, pork belly, and pork dumplings.

Stopped by to try a few items from the menu and obviously had to go all in on the mule! The Tai chicken and halloumi was my favorite.

Tapas for younger trendy people who arent a well off public servant yet. Good prices and amaizing food. They have cheap cocktails on tap.

Yummy tapas-style dishes. The potatoes were out of this world good. Our server made custom mocktails for those of us who cant drink alcohol, which I really appreciated! Will absolutely be coming back.

We hosted my parents anniversary party at Thr33s Co this past weekend and couldnt be happier with how it turned out. The staff was helpful and accommodating all through our planning process, the food was delicious, and we were so glad to introduce this gem of a place to our family and friends, who all had great things to say about it. The space was also perfect for our party of about 45 people, plenty of room for people to mingle, or sit at tables. The staff was also helpful in keeping an eye on which foods were going quickly and circulating those well. There were good vegan options for our vegan friends, and highly recommend the cocktails on tap, such a good idea!

Thr33 is company on Bank has some really creative and fun vegan options. If you are looking for a trendy spot to bring your friends with drinks, food, and music, this is it! I tried the deconstructed vegan banh mi with pickled daikon and carrott. Very flavourful and the small plate was perfect for me. If your planning on sharing, order more than 1 plate. The menu changes so there is always something new to try. Other options they have right now, crispy tofu, potato bravas with vegan jalapeño lime crema. In addition, they made me an awesome non-alcoholic drink; if you do drink, they have many options.

We were seated and given water. Waited 25 minutes. No server came to ask about an order - nothing - so we walked out. Might give them another try - being short-staffed is a thing in the restaurant biz these days. May just have been bad luck that we tried at that particular time.

Cheap but delicious snacks. The food was packed full of different flavours. I advise against using a sharing plate since it ll just mix all the widely contrasting flavours together. Music is too loud though.

Worst service received. We were (almost) completely ignored. We felt like we were disturbing. There were 4 of us, and we were not served at the same time. We had all (3) finished eating when the 4ths meal arrived, and that cold. When the situation is addressed, the man who appears to be responsible is cold and offers no apology or compensation.

Super cool food + drinks menu! You can even order gin flights! We had the brussel sprouts (suuuuper good), frog legs, halloumi, and the beet dish. All super yummy. I personally wouldve liked some more guidance from the staff on the non-alcoholic options, but I still had a great time!

I went there with my girlfriend and a close friend on a Monday evening. It was nice and quiet but busier than usual, as mentioned by our waitress Kate. She was very kind and in a good mood with us, but she was the only working waitress at the time we were there. We waited several minutes before getting her to take our orders. I personally ordered a doughnut and a Dunrobin raspberry vodka drink. Prices were decent and the taste was very rich and lovely. We also shared some deviled eggs and gnocchi. Original ways to cook them but contain lots of salt. For entertainment, they have a vintage VCR and a wide collection of movies on VHS they play. Very nostalgic for 90s people like me and the people I went with. If you go there and get Kate as your server, she deserves a generous tip for her excellent service and for working alone and hard on the premises.

Music too loud...no air conditioning on even on a hot summer night...not a lot of choices in terms of food...no fries even...the beer was good though.

This is the 3rd time Ive been to Thr33s in the last month. If you are looking for great food, drinks and overall great experience this is a must in Ottawa. The food and drinks are why you go. The atmosphere is why you stay. With great staff and management I will be visiting multiple times in the future.

You made a big mistake taking that pork belly off of the menu.

Found this gem during covid and stuck with it ever sense. The first time I ordered pick up in lockdown because I needed a pick me up. Chef Jimmy always delivers phenomenal flavours and dishes. This was my go to for first dates because the staff creates a safe environment and if the date blew at least I was getting delicious beautiful food. I appreciate how the menu alters and shifts. Honestly Ive never been disappointed and never has my significant other. We adore this joint.

Great place for small to medium size groups! You can get many plates to share and try a bit of everything! They do everything very well! They also have great selection of drinks. I found the space quite dark though (at night).

My absolute favorite kind of restaurants are ones that take some local food culture and blend it with other cultures that the chef is passionate about, and then places it in a setting that makes you forget normal life and just have a good time. This place hits that spot pretty dang well. Immaculate vibes and servers who feel like friends, seriously good cocktails (the barrel-aged negroni is incredible), and sorta French-Asian fusion food including duck and frog legs, tuna tar tar and beef and broccoli sorta cheese casserole... legit good stuff all around. Stay a while. Its easy.

The style of food is similar to tapas - small, delicious, tasty things. The cake in a jar for dessert is great! In addition to the delicious lemonade and beer, there are also many unusual cocktails and everything a gin heart could wish for.

Really great tapas style food that is served until late at night. The gin cocktails on tap are pretty good as well. Only thing I wish is that they also had some pub style food which is what Im really craving late at night after drinking

This is a cozy pub-like restaurant that only serves snacky foods. The dishes are designed as sharing plates or samplers. I tried 4 items, coconut prawns, cod cakes, tuna tartar, and brussel sprouts. The tuna was amazing. Theres a creamy basil pesto as the base and blue corn chips to dip with. The basil dip has a mouth feel like creamy avocado is in it...but isnt. Additional chips will be required. The prawns come on a bed of rice, and were delicious; Id get this again and again. Cooked perfectly so that the shrimp were not at all rubbery. This is like a traditional Thai curry. The brussel sprouts were good but nothing special; but I am a sprout snob. The sprouts at Supply and Demand are much better. I didnt really taste the apple butter. Overall good but could be better if the sprouts were crunchy, or caramelized on one side. The cod cakes was yummy, but the standouts were the prawns and tuna. The other amazing feature is the GIN....so many options. I had a flight of gin, which included 4 types. My friend had a very dirty gin martini and said it was the best shed ever had. I loved the pepper gin and the lemongrass gin. The atmosphere is quaint and has a British/Scottish pub feel. By 9pm the noise level jumps up to bar level. So if youre going to chat and hangout...get out before 9. Overall, loved this place, and I would highly recommend it. As a side note the staff are amazing and knowledgeable. Vegetarian options: Lots of options for vegetarians. Dietary restrictions: If you have a restriction because of diet, they are happy to accommodate. Parking: Parking in the Glebe is always a shitshow. I got lucky, but it was 6pm. There is a parking lot across the street from the Cocktower. Kid-friendliness: This isnt really a kid place. Probably during the day would be fine, but 6pm onward is more pub-like. Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair access from the street and within the restaurant. I didnt use the washroom, so Im not sure about space or access.

The atmosphere here is so cozy and cute, this is a great date spot, and the food is delectable with flavours that are perfectly balanced. I had the shrimp and it was nice Thai coconut style. Absolutely delicious! I d definitely come back to try the other dishes.

Great place to hang out

One of my favourite spots in Ottawa year round! Cozy in the colder months and a perfect patio for the warmer ones. Drinks, food and staff are all incredible. Amazing selection of gin and balanced cocktails. The menu has an array of delicious vegetarian options and with new items added frequently, I can t help going back time after time. Could not recommend Thr33 s enough!

One of my favorite joints in Ottawa Great food and great service

This is a great place. Four of us came here for dinner. We shared seven plates and everyone of them was so flavorful. The menu had something for everyone and the cocktail menu had a great variety. Local beer on tap and a small but good selection of wine. The bill was quite reasonable. There were seats at the bar, a few small tables for 2 and a few long tables for groups. It was a little noisy, although we were sitting beside a table that had about 10 people at it so perhaps under different circumstances, the noise level wouldnt have been that high. Having said that, it was so good, we all agreed we would be back.

We went as a party of 7. Still not sure who our server was. Service was painfully slow and inconsistent, other tables were doing well. Food was excellent, loved the variety of gin cocktails available. Due to the service, we won t be back, but glad we went.

I liked the relaxed atmosphere with snack food sizes. It was nice to be casual and have food that were different and high quality. We were able to try a lot of dishes due to their smaller portions. Our favorites were the gnocchi, prawns, and flank steak. Only thing I wished for is more desserts, unfortunately they didn t have two things available.

Quick service, classy but casual vibe, and excellent food. Very tasty choices. Went with some friends. They have an interesting menu, which offers many different small portioned items at lower prices. The server recommended getting 2-3 per person for a whole meal. This is perfect for someone who has a hard time deciding! All the items me and my friends got were delicious. Very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Excellent place if you re looking for a bite to eat, or a drink!

Came here on a late Wednesday evening for some small bites and drinks. We were greeted by a friendly server and had our pick of tables. The music is good here and not too loud. We ordered some drinks, the Southern hush puppies, frog legs and drumsticks. Both the hush puppies and drumsticks were on special that night for the late night crowd (9pm-2am). For that price, pretty great value. The hush puppies were pretty ordinary and I wouldve preferred a bit more sea salty/briney flavour since theres clams in it. The sauce it came with was very dilly and fresh though. Drumsticks were fried nicely but I felt that the seasoning didnt penetrate through the chicken and relied heavily on the peanut sauce that could be a bit more savoury. Favourite dish of the night was the frog legs. Surprisingly meaty frog legs with spot on seasoning, a nice smoky grill flavour and topped with some fresh greens and a tasty yuzu sauce. I hardly ever see this kind of dish in Ottawa so I appreciate the bold move and flavours.

Service is atrocious unless you re a white dude at the bar. If you visit on a weekend, prepare to only get your drink order taken if your whole party has empty cups. Order more staff!

Great atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff despite the rush. The food was fantastic, beautifully platted, fresh, delicious and brought out pretty quickly. 10/10 would recommend for a tasty snack

What a great place! We almost hit every tapa on the menu! Brussel Sprouts, Prawns, Walking Taco (Love it), Gnocchi (Insert Homer Drooling ) halloumi, meat balls . So good. Great atmosphere, loved seeing some of the nostalgia on the walls!

A large selection of drinks, so its fine on that front. Food-wise its disappointing and very much over-priced. For example, crispy tofu is four 3/4 cubes of tofu, and thats like $12. Or four little drumsticks for $18. And its not like the food taste all that great either. So, I guess if you just want drinks, and want a large selection of cocktails and beer etc., maybe this is a good spot. But dont go for the food. At all.

New favourite spot in Ottawa, great drinks (PB Old Fashioned is really good, white Negroni too) and food was super tasty. Can t wait to go back.

Went here with two super foodie friends and got to try all of their dishes too. The outstanding ones are the coconut curry prawns and the brussel sprouts fabulous! the okay dish was the gnocchi. The tuna tartare was highly over salted but the pesto that came with it was really good! The hush puppies were nothing special, the sirloin was overdone but the duck confit potato side was delicious. The drinks were excellent, overall 4/5 and I would go back and recommend several dishes here. The service and atmosphere were welcoming.

We had the coconut poached prawns (coconut curry), drumsticks and asparagus. It was all delicious. The curry was my hands-down favourite. We chatted with one of the founders; delightful guy who is clearly happy to be there. The vibe is cool. We will make this a go-to and will bring friends. Highly recommend.

Most qualified people to create delicious items to put in your mouth. Their snacks are high KEY gourmet cuisine. Also, they have gin on tap and the best local craft beers. pls come here and inhale the food

Love this place. The food is fun, creative, and very well balanced. The flavours and textures work so well together. The service is friendly and attentive, and the music is on point. We will definitely be back.

When you look at the menu and the setting your skeptical this placd puts out octopus and duck confit worth trying. By the time you leave you will want to have tried everything, the next day you will still be thinking about how amazing the dishes were. Its truely amazing!!!

Definitely more of a drinks place, and their specialty appears to be gin, but the food is delicious. As I chose not to drink on this visit I cant rate the drinks, but the menu sported an aviation, and that is a quality classic gin cocktail. High class, thats all I can say. Service was quality, atmosphere was rejuvenating, and other patrons were clearly in high spirits.

A super cute spot on Bank Street just past the Queensway. Lots of delicious drink options and interesting cocktails - I also really liked the mango cocktail on tap! The food are sharing plates - my friends and I got a selection to share. So the food itself tastes great but wow, these plates were really small for the price point Scallop - cooked perfectly but only came with two pieces. Turkey meatball - great sauce but I felt like the turkey could have been grilled more. Crispy tofu - they use a firm tofu and it had a good crisp. Mushrooms - star of the show, I loved this dish! Pork belly - felt like it could use more flavor. I didn t care for the carrot on top. Halloumi - very nice served warm, the blueberry in top added an interesting flavor profile. Cake in a jar - something about this dessert was off. Something was bitter - maybe the way the yuzu paired with the cream cheese? The bottom Oreo cookie layer was good, the middle not so much. Cookies - nice and warm!

Phenomenal experience. Cocktails are innovative and delicious, food is even better (if possible). A must try in downtown Ottawa (especially if you are a gin fan). Staff is super friendly and make great pairing recommendations. Peanut butter old fashioned and walking tacos for the win!!!

Hosted a get together here recently and the staff couldnt have been more accommodating. Service was outstanding. Drinks and food are incredible. Everyone was so happy. Cant recommend them enough!

Man I love this place. The food is always incredible, and the atmosphere is perfect for so many ages, but especially an aging millennial like me. The nostalgia here is wonderful, and really adds to the overall vibe. The menu is changed often with the season, and everything is always fresh and vibrant. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a laid back, delicious experience.
