The fish quality isnt the best, the size of the sushi is far too big, and theres just too much rice per sushi piece. Its ran by very nice people but when it comes to food quality it falls behind.

This was a very good restaurant we dined in but you can also have delivery. The food came really quickly. The staff were really nice. Food was amazing.. even ordered some to take home for later.

Changing precious 5 star review; food is great, fresh, and love that we can get free delivery. Only reason for removing stars is on multiple occasions we either do not receive the drinks and/or the sauces that we ordered and paid for, and theres no way to call to let them know because when you call its an automated message saying they dont take orders through telephone, only online. This unfortunately has been a repeated issue with the missing drinks and sauces that we pay for and expect to receive so its extremely disappointing.

Didn t looked fresh at all and I got really bad food poisoning.

I called on a holiday, on the off chance that they might be open. And the owner said she was there on her own, but was happy to make up our (admittedly large) order herself. Another time I mentioned I was getting the sushi for one of my kids birthdays, and she threw in a nice pair of decorative chopsticks and even wrapped them with a little bow. Vegetarian options: Mostly fish sushi, but some vegetarian rolls, and also tempura fried vegetables (but no promises that animal products didnt share the same fryer). Parking: Lots in the mall parking lot. Kid-friendliness: Basic dining area. But colourfully decorated, and staff are friendly to families with kids. Wheelchair accessibility: Level access. Small seating area.

Excellent sushi, fresh and tasty!

Sushi is decent but tempura and gyoza needs work. Tempura breading uses the crunchy type of fine panko bread crumbs which makes it taste too dry and dense with how it is fried here. Gyoza wrappers are also a little too thick and hard, but may be better if eaten right away instead of letting it sit for a while as takeout.

I keep coming here for the bento boxes. Great for work / take out! Tastes always amazing. No one complains from my work when we order a few boxes. Reminds me when I went to Japan with the girlfriend! Eatting a box on the bullet trains. 5 stars. Thank you for your great service.

Best sushi Ive had in Ottawa by far. Its consistently good which Im unable to say about many of the other sushi places here. The staff are always very friendly aswell. If they dont deliver in your area, its worth making a drive for.

Sushi/maki/sashimi can be very different from item to item. If you re trying something new don t be surprised if it s not your favourite thing. Order food items you ve enjoyed in the past and you ll be very happy with the result.

Some of the best Take-Out / Delivery Sushi in Ottawa. Great quality and prices (Try Spicy Tuna / Dragon Rolls / Tempura / miso Soup..). Furthermore, the Customer Service was great. I had an experience where I accidentally took someone else s order with my order. When I got home, I called the restaurant to let them know this was a mistake and I would come back to pay them. They did not accept any payment and told me not to worry and enjoy my meal. I will be back to support this local business for the food and great experience (& generosity)

Anything on the menu is 10/10. Been getting sushi here for years and it s always been good. Staff is always nice, and their fish is always fresh. Only thing I could say is it s expensive. Definitely recommend this spot.

The only sushi place I trust in Ottawa. The food is fresh, reasonably priced and is usually ready for pickup in 10-20 minutes. If you plan to order on a Friday or Saturday afternoon/evening, its best to pick it up as delivery can take 1-2 hours.

3 stars only because I had to go back to get the other half of my order that they left out of the bag. Apparently this was my fault as I should have noticed before I left... Even though the bag had my name on it, and listed all the order items individually right on the bag... Sushi itself is phenomenal! Fresh and tasty.

I have loved this place ever since we haven t been able to do ayce. It s super fresh and packaged so thoughtfully. The food is just as good, if not better than local sushi joints and so so fresh. I love their sashimi, and their rolls are also excellent. I love living close to another sushi place that makes great rolls, but when value is considered, these guys reign.

Our usual place to enjoy take out sushi, good food for a great price and consistently well done. Fresh fish, fresh ingredients and fresh rice. The only thing I dont like is how they use California roll as a base for a large portion of their special rolls but there are still good options. Will continue to order take out from them.

Food is great.

They mostly do takeout and delivery so there are only a few tables for dine in. The food was presented beautifully and was really tasty! The staff were friendly and the place was very clean.

Where do I begin? Every piece that my wife and I tried was super salty to the point where we couldn t swallow the pieces! And no, it wasn t the soy sauce it was the rice and/or the crab mix. The ginger looked so old and the fish tasted funny, definitely not the best quality. 60$ down the drain, I will be returning the platter tomorrow for them to taste their own work.

Just ordered a large sized dinner with platters and multiple dishes. The order was correct, on-time, price was excellent and the hot food was packaged well separated from the cold stuff. The sushi and rolls were really fresh, which was something I was worried about as some restaurants dont seem very busy - but this place was clearly busy, yet well enough organized that there were no issues with crowding as people picked up their orders.

I ordered some take-out sushi from here yesterday and it was delicious! My boyfriend and I shared the sushi combo for 4 (24 piece maki and 24 piece nigiri) and it was great! Awesome selection of nigiri and the best shrimp nigiri, egg nigiri and octopus nigiri I have ever had! The rolls that came with the combo were simple (crab and cucumber and California) but delicious! Generous filling and not too much rice. Not only was everything super fresh and yummy but it was very reasonably priced! For all of our sushi, miso soups for each of us, seaweed salad for each of us, edamame and a huge side of pickled ginger AND a generous tip our total came to $95. We had plenty to eat for the two of us for dinner and two lunches of leftovers (the sushi was still delicious the next day). I will be for sure be getting sushi from here again!

Excellent food, quality and value. We ordered a whole bunch of sushi for delivery and they called to make sure our order was correct and it arrived early which was a nice surprise. Lots of fish in the maki rolls and they even included a full bottle of soy sauce for our order! Definitely one of the best sushi places in Ottawa.

Horrible experience. I placed an order for delivery and they called me telling me to come pick it up because they couldnt be bothered to deliver it. I will not order from here again.

Very disappointed - no mention that they do not deliver in Westboro - waited to order so could get free delivery as stated - no delivery to Barrhaven, Gatineau and Orleans - no mention of Westboro.

This is hands down the best sushi in Ottawa. They staff are so friendly and kind. The sushi is always fresh and bonus for delivery! Prices are average maybe even better than most places. I accidentally ordered pick up instead of take out when I meant to click delivery and they still delivered my food after they closed!

I have lost count to how many times I have visited Delivery Sushi. Its perfection every time. Although I miss the dine-in experience, the take outs never disappoints. Its understandable that Tempuras will be cold -- throw them into the air fryer quickly and you are set. I have recommended Delivery Sushi to many friends and family. Below is one recent feedback.

Id oy order Sushi here in a pinch. JUST OK sushi, packaged Wasabi and packaged soy and cheap soy not even Kikoman. No real flavor. If this is the best in town then I will have to go to another town to order sushi.

When my husband and I used to live in Ottawa this was our go to sushi place. We were passing through recently and decided to order takeout and it was as delicious as we remembered. I also really liked how well organized the restaurant was for pickup, the only thing I needed to touch was my bag of food.

Recently ordered for the first time based on the good reviews, but it was around or below grocery store quality, this is not the best sushi in town, or even close to it. Quick delivery and they threw in a free miso soup and seaweed salad. Good ordering experience but we had higher expectations of the quality of the food, I was pretty disappointed. Would not order again, there is much better sushi in Ottawa.

Just delicious! Made fresh, and quick for pick up

Ironically their name has the word delivery in it. They called me to pick-up my order because they were too busy to deliver it. Another time they refused to deliver because GPS traffic showed I was 16 minutes away & their cut-off is 15 min. Order is only ready HOURS after placing it. No option to put in online order for a future time. Nobody picks up the phone. Not worth the hassle.

Solid sushi option for delivery. Youre not going to want to order from here looking for a high-class sushi experience with a lot of options but if you are like I was and needed a fix, this did it. They said I had to wait an hour when confirming my order, which was fine for me, and it got here earlier than that so even better. Sushi quality was about on par for a proper restaurant. Was glad they had a cash option for paying, not all delivery apps do that (hence why I tried this out). If youre able to pick up food, there are probably better options in the city though. Might want to order ahead of time also.

Really great tucked away place in that one mall on bank street. The sushi is really well made and there are some really unique items you can order. the service is good and the website is really easy to use. The ice cream is also awesome!

Ive never ate in, but in terms of delivery this place is incredible!! The workers are SO kind, the food is always amazing and served hot, and the delivery is always so quick! They usually estimate an hour (they call after you order so go based on what they tell you, not what my experience was as its probably determined on how close you live, how much you order and how busy it is), but I think the longest Ive ever waited was about 50 minutes during rush hour. For as long as I live in the area, this will always be my go-to sushi delivery

First time trying it and I would highly recommend Ottawa Delivery Sushi. Portions were generous, everything was fresh and great presentation! Online ordering was easy and delivered on time as well. We will definitely be ordering from this amazing place!

Alright, sushi has been one of my favorite meals (and pretty much the only thing I eat) for the last couple years. Ive been to almost every sushi joint in Ottawa and some around New York. I am very picky when it comes to sushi. This place has blown me away with how good there sushi is, best in Ottawa for sure. Not to mention the customer service is amazing. They always call me by name and are so kind when I go to pick up my sushi. As well, they are very accommodating to their customers, one time they didnt answer the phone because of how busy they were, and they added 2 extra expensive rolls in my takeout, plus gave me 20% off without me asking. Unbelievable! I get takeout from here 1-2 times a week! I love this place so so much.

A hidden gem for sushi in Ottawa. I would never have given this place a try if not for my friends recommendation. She was adamant about the quality and when I tried it, I was definitely blown away. It is arguably the best in Ottawa when it comes to value. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating. Pay them a visit and see for yourself.

One of my favorite spots for sushi in Ottawa! The online ordering system is easy to use, and their prices are very reasonable. They ll give you a call to confirm the order and the timing. It took an hour for the food to arrive, but the sushi was packed well, tasted very fresh and I was able to pay by card at the door.

The only issue Ive had is sometimes they lie about their rice...so weird haha Ill place an order for delivery, only to be called and told that they are out of rice. Right after, Ill place the same order for pick-up, only to be called and told it will be ready for pick up soon! Then get an additional call when its actually ready to be picked up. Weird. I guess sometimes they simply are just not down to deliver.

Good variety, delicious sushi. We ordered a la carte and really enjoyed the meal. The miso soup was a bit bland (but good for the price), but everything else was well put together and flavourful. Will definitely order from here again!

I was pretty keen on the place the few times Id picked it up, but then got a platter with a bunch that just smelled so bad. Made us sick and threw half the platter out. I called them to tell them their sushi we just paid for was turned and not as good as usual. They just said ok thanks and hung up. Im still pretty annoyed to spend money on spoiled food. Sent an email following up to say as much and never got a response. Havent tried since though

Best Sushi in ottawa

I had been going to this restaurant since it was opened. The place is family run with the husband as the deliver guy (most of the time) and the wife works in the background. The food is always fresh and you can taste the difference from an AYCE sushi restaurants. The price for the food is average but the quality is awesome! I would eat from here if I didnt live so far from the restaurant. The deliver service (depends on the day and time) can be quick or slow.

Good sushi at a good price, delivered by a cheerful driver. Whats not to love? Seems like a family business, and the business model works. They have a small unassuming shop with a few tables, but the vast majority of their business is delivery or takeout. Their name is well-chosen to be found on searches, so theyve been able to avoid listing on delivery apps and keep their prices reasonable. Delivery, takeout or eat in, this place is awesome.

I was so impressed with this sushi. I love that they dont fill their rolls with so much rice. They included red dyed ginger but also white ginger. Lots of wasabi too. Delivery was faster than they told us. Super fresh fish. Best in Ottawa ! Thank you
