Amazing food and service! Must try when you re in Ottawa :)

The noodles are handmade by a chef in front of us. We tasted a bit of everything, the dumplings, the dry noodles and with soup, everything was incredible. I recommend!!!

Staff are super friendly. Theyre so kind and the place is very cozy. The gentleman makes the noodles on the spot and its so fascinating to watch him do it. And the food is amazing!

Affordable and delicious I m really impressed that I can eat tuna rice bowl at this price. And the side dishes are so fresh!

The food is quite tasty, the service is excellent and the attention is even better. It is a small place but it is worth eating there.

I can say with full positivity that this is the best ramen I ve ever had. I m a pretty picky eater but my boyfriend had the bento box and let me have a sushi, it was amazing. The owners are so sweet and caring and put so much effort into what they do, I have and always will look forward to coming here.

Had the pork noodle soup and it was very good! Fresh noodles that you can watch being made by the chef and were very good. The pork was very tender as well. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options available Wheelchair accessibility: Street level with no steps so fairly accessible. A bit tight for seating.

Mega delicious noodles, whether in soup or with sauce, the sushi is also super tasty. Highly recommended! The price is super cheap for homemade sushi and noodles. By the way, you can watch it. The service is also friendly and always smiling. Definitely worth a visit!

Excellent hand made noodles. The broth was bold and flavourful, just overall a nice hot bowl of ramen on a cold day. There could have been a little more pork in the bowl but not enough to turn me away. Would eat again.

The ramen here is fabulous (the qty of meat could have been more, though). The family running the show here is hard-working and very kind. Make this place your pit stop if you are in the area.

Craving satisfied and the best decision to try this gem at the Byward Market. We had the pork ramen (broth was amazing, pork literally melts in your mouth soft and the ramen noodles were freshly made), california rolls and the dynamite sushi.

The ramen are really good, the broth is delicious and the craft noodles are perfect. The only bad point, the pork is not very good, you have mainly fat Food

Had the chicken ramen and it was the best ramen I have had in all of Ottawa. It even beats the restaurants in China town that should say something. Very kind owner and the food came relatively in good time. There could have been more chicken added to the meal but that s just me and I m sure you could order some extras if need be. Overall pleasantly warm experience.

10/10 would definitely recommend, ramen noodles were handmade after each order, so very fresh!! wish i had taken a picture haha owner was sooo nice! would love to come back. tasted great too, only suggestion: few more ingredients like leek or sprouts, still great and good price though! Also the vegetarian option was awesome

I had Ramen noodles here twice and it tastes excellent. The owner here is extremely nice which made me come back for the second time. Highly recommend if you want to try freshly hand made noodles.

Absolutely amazing, my friend and I always go here at least once a week! Never lets me down with the amazing food! Also sooo inexpensive! Literally got an 8pack of freshly made sushi and a huge bowl of miso soup for $13! I say it s a steal!!!!

The chicken ramen was lacking in any real flavor just salt. The noodles had a good texture. Also I asked what the toppings were and she said vegetables so I m like cool what kind? It s was lettuce. Not real ramen. Zero effort put into broth. Clear, lacking richness, no collagen etc etc. Was looking for a rich mineral dense meal. Got carbs in flavored water with slices of pork that are not charsui. Pork is Vietnamese style, raw, put in boiling water (or close)

Just watching the chef make the noodles in front of me was therapeutic. The noodles were perfect. Dietary restrictions: The noodles are made without eggs. Kid-friendliness: My child wanted something different and they allowed us to bring in an outside dish.

Good Soup

The worst Asian food experience in my life. 1 star only for restaurant owners smile and good mood. The food was tasteless, over-over-priced for the quantity and quality. We ordered bento and ramen, both as awful as I could ever imagine as an Asian In the bento, we had a small gyoza and a small spring roll, 4 tasteless sushi, a portion of rice with 6 little pieces of meat il looks so pitiful. Speaking of the ramen noodle was freshly made by the restaurant owner but the broth tasted like salty water. I left this serious review with no intention to destroy the restaurant. Just hope to share my own experience for tourists or locals who just want to have a good time, and for the restaurant owner to make some real improvements to survive the upcoming recession.

Clean and friendly place. I ordered a chicken ramen. Noodles were freshly made in front of me and they were delicious. The broth was great. Not too salty and flavourful, they even gave us homemade chilli oil. Overall great place, perfect for a snowy day

The restuarant was messy, the food came 30 minutes later. It had a gross smell and didnt taste good at all. The 5 star reveiws here are fake because none of then are relevent and after i ate the food i became sick because the food was most likley expired

I used to come here from time to time prior to COVID, and it was a little sad to see how far they have declined in their business since then. I was told that they will likely close down at the end of the year, so be sure to support them as much as you can until then. Service was super fast while being the only customer

I dont recommend this restaurant. We ordered ramen with tofu since they didnt have beef neither eggs, and it was flaworless and smelled weird. The tokoyoki was raw inside and burned outside. Only the lemonade we ordered was good.

Sour smelling fish, junk lying around entire restaurant, no welcome on entry. Ordered sashimi combo and spicy salmon which had the most pungent sour smell ever.

My wife and I eat there almost weekly, salmon and tuna are always fresh and very tasty!! The miso soup is tasty and plentiful, green tea is actually real green tea! I m reading some other reviews and I m not getting it because I ve been going there for over 10 years!!

Some of the worse food Ive ever had. Fish was raw and everything was tasteless. The cook was making our food in the tap. The lady charged us 1$ for tap water which is illegal in Canada. Avoid!!

Come here pretty frequently. The guy who serves/makes my sushi is always on the ball. He ll make up special combos for me so I can have a bit of everything I like. Never had a bad experience-definitley one of the best on the go sushi places I ve been to.

Absolutely terrible service. They wouldnt acknowledge any of the customers or take orders. They also had exposed shashimi in the heat.

Was in a rush and stopped in for a quick bite. Ordered a combo of sushi & maki. The salmon sushi looked so dodgy that I couldnt believe they actually put it on the platter. Against my better judgement, I tried a piece of shrimp sushi that looked considerably less dodgy. Bad idea. The rice seemed to have been made with regular white vinegar... it was inedible. I just binned the whole thing and left. I hope that they were just having a bad day, but I wont be back to find out.

Friend had the seafood pad Thai. Didnt enjoy the cilantro in it but service was extremely helpful and friendly and food was good otherwise.
