Order pad Thai and needed it to be extra spicy and it was not. The food had burnt eggs and It did not taste like the pad Thai I love. Not sure what happened but this was my worse pad Thai experience😭😭😭😭
The food is good. If you have food allergies, you may want to think twice. I showed up with my young daughter who has a serious tree nut allergy. When I ordered two pad Thai’s I asked if there were any nuts or potential cross contamination. The cashier said “No nuts at all”. So we ordered. While we waited we saw on the board “Cashew sauce”. So I asked about the cashew sauce. I was told it’s only for the stir fry. I asked where it was, because there are a lot of sauces beside the chefs and they’re constantly putting their ladles in all of them. I was again told it was only for the stir fry. I said, I get that but I’m wondering where it is so I can understand the cross contamination potential. The cashier looked annoyed and just brushed it off as no big deal. I had already paid so we left with two pad Thai and my daughter scared to eat. Had to go to another place to pick up food. Again, the food is good. They need to do a way better job with customer questions and especially allergies. If you don’t seem to care, why would anyone trust you?
This is my favourite Thai Express by far. We have eaten at many locations in the past but now only go here because it is consistently great tasting - full of flavour and fresh and wonderful! I love the chicken with eggplant Shak-a-bowl and my husband has tried many different dishes and loved them all!
Big portions for the regular Price, I forgot to take pictures of our order as the food was mouth watering. Will definitely come back here everytime im in the area.

Best Thai Express location in Ottawa. We went there last Sunday. Food are excellent and people are very nice there. We tried Pad Thai, Pad SeeEw, and Fried rice. All are delicious and the amount is huge. Definitely will come back to eat again.
Very clean and professional. The washrooms were spotless, the food was amazing and so was the service. I tried a Thai-express a bit closer to home and I would probably not return there. The food here was excellent. Will be going back to this location on " Thai express" night even though it's a bit further away
Absolutely the best Thai Express location in Ottawa. I tried so many which were inconsistent and a disappointment. The employees at this particular location care about what they are doing and they are doing it very well. The main cook saw me looking for lime, he went to the back and cut me some and brought me the slices.

Ordered Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken Pad Thai. Both were oily and not fresh at all. Worst Thai Express Ive ever seen.

Dumplings are over cooked and falling apart. Came with a semi frozen container of peanut sauce. Everything is extremely bland. Was looking forward to grabbing a quick bite because the Thai Express in Stittsville has been so good. Very disappointed in the food quality at this location. First time I ve ever thrown my food into the garbage and walked out.
Slow service
Food was great but I ordered by phone and they didnt even start cooking it or putting it on the order tray for the cook until after I arrived and paid. I purposely ordered ahead of time as I was on a tight schedule, but they didnt seem to care. Very disappointed. Wont be going to that thai Express again.
I dont sure about the place!!! But got served freaking salad wrapped in plastic. In name of spring roll. Are you guyzz for real . A freaking salad wrapped in plastic. Thought brownies serving brownies, its cool.
I ordered pad thai today it was tasty. The service was overall alright, I feel like it could be improved but the food was good! The parking was plenty, it s a good spot if you want to stop by to get your groceries and dinner all in one go.

Service sucks. Guy at cashier couldn t be bothered to help me with my order, just stared out the window. Then they screwed it up - didn t realize until I got home. One and done.
Ordered green curry shrimp. Was completely bland and lacking in flavour. I didnt expect top notch Thai food but this was repulsive with a thick starch-thickened sauce that had no place on a Thai dish. As well, green curry is supposed to be spicy and this was 0/5 on the spicy scale.
Uber order, wrong order, tasteless and dry. First time order from this location. Disappointed. Beef piece were shapped in a way one can loose their appetite.

I walked in and orders the Cashew Chicken to go. It was quick service.
According to their posted schedule they should be open till 9pm. Arrived at 8:20 and they didnt take my order.

If you like your food spicy, don t come to this location. Not sure what s going on here, but I ve returned several times and every single time my pad thai or pad sew were not spicy. I ve never had this issue before. The spicy here is equivalent to mild at other locations.
We bought two Thai chicken soup from here and one had a big chunk of few plastic pieces in it. One piece was 1 x 0.5. We returned to the shop and showed them but got yelled at by the shop manager. Buy the soup folks but be careful before you swallow :(
Just Disgusting. After opening and eating some of my food I noticed they gave me the wrong meal so on my lunch break I returned my meal and requested the one I ordered. I watched the employee dump my hour old, eaten out of food into the pan heated it up and served it to the next customer. The manager failed to see an issue with this when called and was very argumentative.
2017: I come here every week to buy noodles and soup. The boss and staff are very welcoming. 2022 Update: Several years later, I still like coming to this store. Other Thai fried dishes are not as delicious as this one.
I ordered two soups. Both were a great disappointment. Tom Yum had nothing to do with the typical tom yum from any other decent place. Very bland. Also Id be curious to know where their beef is coming from (probably the lowest grade) lots of cartilage.
Just opened my takeout box and got the wrong item. Ordered Fried rice and got pad Thai absolutely no organization here, they are calling out numbers without giving any to customers. Extremely unsatisfied.

Great food. However, Will not return to this location. I ordered 4 meals ($65), when I asked for lime, sriracha and peanuts for 4 the cashier swung her head back and rolled her eyes at me. I was so angered I want to get a refund & leave, since they had already started my order and didnt want to leave the restaurant with additional waste for the day. Its hard enough for restaurants to get by during covid.
Usually Im really impressed with this Thai Express service and the quantity of their food but the one time I ordered through Uber, they really disappointed me. First, I ordered the shrimp pad Thai and usually when I order this I receive quite a bit of shrimp. This time it was so hard to find the shrimp. There were roughly 4 shrimp in the whole dish! Secondly, I ordered a Thai in a box cake. I thought the cake would come in the same box as their regular noodles. Boy, was I wrong! Literally a small piece of cake was delivered in the tiniest of boxes. If they wrote the size of the cake on their menu, I definitely wouldnt have bought it so maybe this was on me but it was deceiving to receive a tiny slice for $5. Ive learned my lesson. Wont be purchasing cake from them again.

For the second time, the cashier lady has been incredible Rude to me and my husband, overcharging us and blaming us because she didnt know how to punch and item and saying that they didnt have the item when it is right there in the windows display, she was absolutely rude and non apologetic, the manager at this store really needs to talk to his staff about customer service

The quantity is good. I bought General Thairacha yesterday and it felt very dry and absolutely tasteless. This is not how it usually is. Someone really skimped on the sauce. I was just eating it for the sake of not wasting food. Plus the store is way too far from home to return it.
I have been standing here for 30 minutes and still havent received my food yet. Wont be returning.

Ordered chicken pad Thai with mushrooms. Food was on point and the portion was good enough to feed two people easily or one hungry individual.
We were pretty disappointed by the food here. Ordered the peanut/coconut bowl and the yellow Thai curry. The peanut/coconut bowl was very bland, and flavourless. The curry had a little flavour but also bland. All the ingredients looked and tasted fresh and the restaurant was clean and had adequate covid-19 protections. Ordering was a challenge because the lady taking the order struggled to communicate in English, however the masks don t make this any easier. The staff were friendly and helpful. Pity the food doesn t meet with the appearance of the restaurant or the happy staff that work here.
My wife likes their General Thai dish. So we frequent this place often for it.
Made the wrong item for my take out order. Very stingy on the sauce. Cashier also had an attitude problem. Recommend going to the Hazeldean Road location.

Thai Express has excellent healthy options, they have great tasting food, whether you are on a diet or not. The food is fresh and cooked right in front of you! They range from salads to stir fries to soups, and any other combination you can think of!
By far the Best Thai I have had at one of these places. Use to go to the others but with the Cleanliness of this place and nice staff that dont come in after smoking and making your food, its much better!
It is quick and simple food that is available quickly. It is good enough to help in a bind as long as you dont expect much. It is reasonably priced.

Quality of food is not good. Not just his location. Recently many of the same restaurants have low quality meets and tearable soup. I have tried the General thi beef recently and it s bad. Used to love this place. It s also very expensive now.

Great people, great service. I forgot my phone at the cash and went to car. The lady came running and asked if I forgot my phone. And she handed it. Food was yummy and felt had really nice Thai express after long. This was the one near Kanata centrum. Definitely recommend!
