Great place good food

A quick service family restaurant with a very nice hospitable couple running it. We were served complimentary turkish bread with a tomato sauce & yogurt sauce, both very good. The mixed doner was excellent & I felt the portion was fair for the price. Unfortunately I only noticed at the end that they had a garlic sauce & if Id known before I would have requested for it. Will definitely return to try the wraps & highly recommend this restaurant.

Wow best chicken shawarma I ever had. The spicy garlic sauce was incredible. Place was super clean and Im surprised as to how cheap it was. Highly recommend.

The food here is mediocre and I got over charged when I ordered 3 plates with extra skewers each. I could have ate at Persis which is much better and an actual sit down restaurant for the same price.

Great food

My sister and I from Montreal came to visit our family for the day and decided to stop in here for lunch. Our Dad is Armenian born in Istanbul so he wanted to try it. Lets just say that Im obsessed with this restaurant now. Everything about them is phenomenal. Felt like home as soon as we walked in, amazing hospitality and the food.... AMAZING!!!! I will definitely be going back whenever i visit. Oh and you MUST try the baklava.

I went yesterday with my fiancé for dinner and we chose to dine in. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the friendly employees behind the counter, and really pleased by the quality of service. We ordered our food, sat down, and they brought the food to our table within a few minutes. The food was incredibly fresh, flavourful, and the portions were excellent. It was evident that the ingredients were high-quality, fresh and made from scratch on the spot (including the freshly-made hummus). Highly recommend trying the tzatziki and chicken doner platter. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning soon!

Foods are tasty, clean and good service

Great flavourful food for a reasonable price. Good balance of vegetables, carbs and meat. Feels like you ate a complete meal. Recommend the bulgar as something unique as an alternative to rice.

I ordered a chicken shish kebab plate and my husband a beef doner sandwich. Hummus and ezme in addition and both were take out. Shish kebab was perfect and the salad that came with it. I was expecting more of rice pilaf rather than just a plain kind of Uncle Ben s rice. My husband s sandwich turned out to be a wrap instead. And then we found 2 pieces of Turkish bread that came with our meal. The beef doner meat was perfectly seasoned though. We both found the hummus dry (more like mashed potatoes texture) not creamy and very salty. Hopefully, this is not the case regularly. We expect hummus to be creamy, something you can dip your piece of bread or easily spreadable. We ve lived in the Middle East for 2 years and knew more of these food so that was just a little disappointment. But the hospitality and friendly atmosphere is not to be overlooked. They served us Turkish tea while waiting. Will definitely give it another chance. Thanks for opening up in the area and adding another taste option to Orleans residents.

Ordered chicken shish kabab with bulgur and kunefe. Both were delicious! Bulgur was packed with flavour you can eat it alone, it s so good leaving you wanting more. Chicken was moist and tasty. Will definitely try more items in menu.

So delicious! The Mix Kebab Meal for 4 is great for variety. It contains chicken shish, veal shish, Adana kebab, kofte, chicken wings, chicken shawarma and beef shawarma. Its served with rice or bulgur, but they were ok with me getting half and half. It also came with a salad and bread. All meats were moist and tender and flavourful. The rice and bulgur were soft and fluffy. The bread was soft and fresh. The salad had a good mix of fresh vegetables. I also got 2 orders of the Sigari Boregi. Its phyllo pastry rolls with cheese inside. The cheese was a bit too salty for me, but the rolls were crispy and otherwise great. Got takeout and everything was well packaged. Would definitely order from here again.

Service was also excellent, as I was offered to sample the Turkish style Doner, which was also of high quality. In short, I was very pleased to have a solid option for take out or dine in within Orleans. It will be my go to for this style of cuisine, hands down.

I recently visited Turkish Anatolia Restaurant, the newest addition to Ottawas culinary scene! With only a handful of Turkish restaurants in the city, its expected to become widely popular, particularly among individuals living in the east end. This restaurant has a variety of Halal Turkish/middle eastern dishes in the menu, including, kebab, doner, hummus, baba ghanoush, soup, salad and shawarma. The restaurant had a small seating arrangement. The food was delicious, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are friendly. I was skeptical because i used to have real turkish kebab in north africa and France, but i tried it and it really taste the same as the kebab i knew and i never found in canada. This is a gem and the type of bread they use is eather the one used by all shawarma places or you can choose from turkish bread and this is a game changer. Will definitely eat here on a weekly basis from now on.

Went in to try it, stood there for 5 min while the guys spoke Arabic to each other and ignored me. I couldn t order because they ignored me. Typical Arabic attitude towards woman. Not surprised, don t go if you re a woman, not impressed.
