I loved my experience at this restaurant. The food is really good. I took the vermicelli bowl while it was 1/2 price that day. The vegetable are really fresh, you can taste it. The portion are perfect. The service is great too.
I dined at Parle today, and was asked to leave an honest review and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated combining traditional Vietnamese elements with a modern touch. What truly elevated the experience, was the excellent customer service provided by Ahmed and Ryan. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Ahmed was incredibly attentive, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, and Ryan's knowledge of the menu made ordering a breeze. Whether you're looking for a casual lunch or a special night out, Parle is a must-visit. The combination of amazing food, great music and exceptional service from team members like Ahmed and Ryan guarantees a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend!
We have been to many Pho place around Downtown and quite impressed with Parle Restaurant. The beef you get in Pho is generous in size and tender. It's a clean restaurant with excellent food and friendly atmosphere. Our waitress was very knowledgeable. Highly recommended. We will surely come again👌
This is our go to Noodles House. We’ve been dining here for couple of times already since we moved in the area. The food was decent in overall. The portions in every order is very generous. Prices are very reasonable and very affordable. Quality food and very satisfactory. Very accessible but the parking is a bit challenging. Great staff and service very attentive. I just came here last night. And i just noticed even the last time. It was really and very HOT inside. They only have one stand fan for the whole dining area. Which our table doesn’t even reach by the wind. We are eating while sweating and keep on wiping it every time. In this case, it very uncomfortable to eat and I hope you do something about this.
The food was decent overall. The portions were generous, and the quality was satisfactory. What really stood out was the interior ambiance – the decor and atmosphere were warm and inviting, making it a pleasant place to dine. The service was also excellent; the staff was friendly and attentive throughout. Another advantage is its convenient location, though parking nearby can be quite a challenge, especially during peak hours. One more plus is that the restaurant stays open late into the night, making it a good spot for late-night dining.

Such a cute restaurant! This was my second time and I had another fantastic experience. The atmosphere and decor is so adorable - definitely instagram worthy! I highly recommend going for their weekly specials. I went on a Monday and they had 1/2 price vermicelli bowls. In total it was under $12 including the tip!! I ordered the pork and it was delicious! Will be returning to try to more of the weekly specials soon!!
Nice place for photos, vibe and decor is really pretty but that's it. Quality and care seems to no longer be important, which is really unfortunate as the first time we visited in 2022, it was pretty good. The last few times we visited quality is consistently poor. We were served old rice which was dried out and very hard. The Tom Kha soup was the only good thing out of the 4 dishes we ordered. Our pho, rice dish meat and chicken soup was either super bland or way too salty. Also a little confused as I ordered a rare beef pho but it had pieces of chicken so are they not keeping an organized kitchen or just serving random things? We've come the last few times due to our friends needing a vegetarian or halal option, and it was not a great introduction to Vietnamese food. Really disappointing overall. We came around the time when they first opened and really liked it, just disappointing how it's been these last few times.

I tried the general tao. It was so good. I love the combination of the chilis that gives it a nice bite. New favourite place to get General Tao.

Great little restaurant. The atmosphere is welcoming and the food is good and fresh. I have been returning there regularly since 2021 with as much pleasure as ever. I recommend the grilled shrimp starter, a little delight.

I ordered the tofu bahn mi and salt coffee, they were both amazing ! the bahn mi was delicious with great sauce and crispy tofu, the salt coffee was sweet, flavourful and delicious ! plus the customer service was speedy and friendly! 10/10 would definitely return !

Came for dinner and got pork spring rolls, and their special which was a rib pho. The portions were excellent, the flavors were great. My main complaint was that 1 large, bone in, piece of meat in a soup is very difficult to eat and break down to a reasonable size for bites. Otherwise, everything was great.

The thom kha I had was pleasantly spicy and flavourful. I did add a bit of sweet sauce, but it was good either way. The veggie spring rolls werent too bad, but I dont think the oil used for frying was too fresh. Still, I would go back.
Updated: The last time I came back, I felt that the quality was not the same as before. The meat is cut very thin. The staff is not very friendly... ---------------- I ate at the restaurant twice (Bun Bo Hue medium size), both were very good, but probably because of the common cooking ground, the taste was a bit bland, but thats okay. Order 1 time on uber same food before but Large, different taste when eating at the restaurant, lighter, and the quantity seem for medium size not large ( i ordered large) . Anyway, still recommend for come here try Vietnamese food !!!!
It was the worst service ever. I am a loyal customer, and I brought my friends here because I love it. Sometimes, the service was inconsistent, but that was okay because I loved the food. However, I am so embarrassed that I recommended this restaurant as the best place in Ottawa. The male employees attitude on that day (28th September at around 2 PM) was quite rude right from the start. Two flies were in my friend s pho, and I requested compensation for the pho, such as not having to pay or others. He said, This is because the flies were in there when he was eating. And he was almost finished . So he couldnt do anything about the compensation. What does that even mean? Lol. He found them in the middle of eating, and another friend stopped eating. Hey, it doesn t mean that we want to get total compensation for his food. At least you should say sorry first and try to make us feel okay with whatever for the restaurants reputation. Although I suggested to my friend to report it to CFIA with a picture, he didnt want to cause any trouble. I am done with this place anyway.

I stumbled upon this place by chance and Im really happy I did! I have a new favorite restaurant for pho. i kid you not, I havent had pho this good at such a good price in a very long time. keep an eye out on the specials because theyre very worth it. staff and environment is great too. 10/10

We ordered halal chicken fried rice. Their halal menu is separate and has halal certified stamp on it. Fried rice were amazing. Staff is very welcoming. We will definitely go there again. Also such pretty spots to take photos.

Pho was OK. Not super good nor super bad. Grilled rice (beef) was not good at all. Beef was cold and rice didnt seem freshly cooked. Took me more than 10 minutes to get my check. But most of all, what I didnt like about the place was, its cleanliness. Floor was sticky, table was dirty and restroom was awful. Its in the basement and it stinked and there were flies everywhere. Wonder what the kitchen is like with such hygiene standards. I dont think I will ever gonna go again.

Delicious food and very good service! We enjoyed the tofu rice wraps (summer rolls), a banh-mi, and the baked banana After asking, we got the banh-mi with imitation meatballs instead of tofu, even though its not on the menu. Highly recommend this place!

Place was okay but definitely needs more attention to service, we werent given a menu and had to ask for it as they forget to. Ordered a banh mi and two rice dishes with pork and assorted meats; the meat was premade and not cooked fresh. Not worth it... Pad Thai was good and pho was good. Overall experience wasnt the greatest, wont go again and thats okay.
